Till recently at the windows the lady who give us our dose has been so rude every time I have gone to pick up my take homes never at the window with a welcoming smile never a goodmorning/afternoon or have a good day and each time I have walked to the window ive greeted her with a hi good morning or have a good day and I just get ugly looks I get it we are recovering addicts but that gives Noone a reason to belittle us or treat us less than. Their concierge, PHILLIP, is so nice, he ALWAYS greets you with a smile and even says something that may brighten your day. The Drs mostly are great, the only one that myself and 2 patients I spoke with, that could have a little better bedside manner is ...well let's just say that's why I gave it 4 stars. Everything is clean the manager, addresses your needs and counselors are great. You wouldn't know it was aegis if not for the sign. My mother and I just moved into Manteca 2 years ago and we're still finding our way, but the Three Rivers pow wow was awesome. Everything from the MC, to the hosts coming out which I want to do get a chance to meet but was unable to. And this year the mayor of Manteca came out which was really cool. I want to thank everybody including the people who were making their rounds and offering free watermelon. That was love and respect. Thank you guys for the awesome food the vendors to the dancers from the little ones to the older adults , and I made my way to the sweat lodge to admire. I didn't get to see it up close last year but I loved every bit of it. I was not feeling great but the staff promised to take care of me and they did not disappoint. Whenever I was younger my mom would 5150 me on just about every birthday. When I was hospitalized here Dr. Fox would let me play my guitar and when I was given the privilege to play guitar I would divide my 15-30min sessions with my guitar and let others play guitar. What was really good was the food and dinning area. My electric guitar and line6 podgo was the first time staff had seen any like that to come into the hospital and I was asking for music theory material to be printed out and the nurses were always printed out material for me. I started Stemvasmah therapy which was science, technology, engineering mathematical, visual arts sound-music arts, and humanities, I would be asking all patients on my unit for 3 different topics and the nurses were always printing out the paperwork for my lessons I have taught the patients. I remember going to rec therapy all the patients requested songs all the songs that I like. Overall this is heaven for those who are broken All OF THE FORMER PATIENTS THAT ARE GOING TO GIVE BAD REVIEWS,..... I GOT NEWS THE LIES YOU HAVE BEEN TELLING WILL BE REPORTED PRIVATELY AND RESPECTFULLY. I HAVE LOVE FOR MHTS, I NURSES, first responders, doctor's psychiatrist. AND lawn enforcement and paramedics and fire Crew. I have no bad memories of being hospitalized. Andrew 1 year ago I’ve been here twice. It’s been 4 months and I still reminisce on my time spent here. I’ve been to a psych ward in Sacramento and it is nothing compared to this one. The staff here for the most part generally cares for the patients. Thank you to all of the employees who helped me especially the chefs (cuz the food was great) and Bradley. Only have to follow a few simple rules and respect others in the house. I attend five in-house meetings per week, and three outside meetings per week. The house managers are fair and reasonable. I have to submit to drug testing upon demand, and the house managers enforce the rules to retain the Integrity of the house. A very positive experience for me! 7 years ago Madison House is the best overall sober living home i have experienced; and i have experienced several due to my alcoholism and addiction. I've been here 8 months and the program promotes recovery and personal growth and all I have to do is follow a few simple rules which include going to outside meetings as well as in-house meetings, being respectful of others,drug testing upon request, and doing my assigned chore. Pretty simple. The 2 house parents are fair, supportive, and they do enforce the rules to retain the integrity of the house. My son is in therapy and they have a Parent Partner Program to help the parents support their child. It has been so refreshing to see people who genuinely care & are passionate about helping people. When I tell you I have seen such a big difference in my son, I truly mean it. My son is on the autism spectrum, Level 3, and is nonverbal. When we first started, he was very attached to me — definitely my little “Velcro baby.” Being comfortable away from me and trusting other people has always taken time for him. But watching his progress here has made me so happy and proud. He absolutely loves the water, and now he is comfortable going with his instructor without needing me right by his side. That is a BIG accomplishment for him. I especially want to acknowledge Isabella and Alicia. Isabella, I love her dearly! The patience, kindness, and understanding they have shown my son have truly made a difference. They did not rush him or force him to be comfortable before he was ready. They gave him the time and space he needed to build trust, and as a mother, that means so much to me. When you have a child with autism, especially a child who is nonverbal, finding people who take the time to understand your child and make them feel safe is everything. Isabella and Alicia have helped my son become more independent, comfortable, and confident being with someone other than me. We still have more growing and learning to do, but I can see the progress, and I am grateful for everyone who has played a part in it. I had a pretty good experience with the group setting and I really loved Evelyn one of the Psychiatrists. She was amazing. I really want to have her as my Individual Therapist because of how well she handles people and also challenges them.
