About Service First Downtown Stockton

Service First Downtown Stockton, in Stockton, California, is a nonprofit community based program licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services. They provide outpatient alcohol and drug rehab services and case management/supportive living services to severely mentally ill individuals, homeless military veterans and individuals involved with the criminal justice system.

Service First is a drug and alcohol rehab center located in Downtown Stockton, California. They offer treatment and classes for people with substance use disorder and alcohol use disorder. They focus their services on justice system clients.

The court refers clients to this facility. You will pay for your own treatment here, and the cost is based on a sliding scale.

The goal of the program is to help people live a sober life and avoid relapse. The treatment center was established because of California’s Proposition 36.

Proposition 36 allows people with more than two convictions for possession to be charged with felonies in certain cases. It also changed the law to say that some drug offenders may be sentenced to rehab and court supervision as an alternative to incarceration.

Drug treatment may include group and individual therapy. It will also include classes that will educate you about the effects of drugs and alcohol on your body as well as the legal consequences of using hard drugs or driving under the influence of both legal and illegal substances.

If you have been convicted of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the court will likely order you to take DUI classes. This location offers evening and Saturday classes. They have a 12 hour wet and reckless class which teaches you how to make more positive choices and be a more responsible driver.

They offer three, six, and nine month program for people facing convictions for the first time. They each include educational classes and group therapy. The progam you are in will be based on the amount and type of drugs in your system and the severity of your accident. Both programs offer several one-on-one interviews with a counselor. They also have programs for people who are multiple offenders.

Absolutely love the marina! They've done a topnotch job and it's fantastic. Be alert for bums! We saw one bum in a black suv screaming and smoking weed on his junk boat- but that's just one bad apple. So many great people have boats there, we love it.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.

I am the owner of the fishing vessel Pioneer. I can't say enough good things about my experience keeping my commercial fishing boat it stocktons down town marina . The marina is beautiful and very well kept. The people who work here are really nice and very helpful. I have been in more harbors from Alaska to California. This is very rare to have such a great place to keep your boat and know that it is safe in there hands . Nothing gets stolen, they are great at communicating, they are super helpful. Cheers to the harbor master and his crew . You run a great marina. Thank you for everything. Giuseppe
