Today 8/1/2025 marks one year of sobriety. One year ago today I entered Elevate in Santa Cruz to start my detox from alcohol. A week later I relocated to the South Lake Tahoe facility. CRC saved my life; there is no denying that. I reached out on a Friday morning and the intake team connected to me within 30 minutes. From that moment forward I have been in their care from detox through IOP and soon into alumni! Every step of the way the CRC staff - counselors, case managers, chef (yes there is a chef and he is AMAZING!!!!), billing, therapists, and leadership - were and are still around to support my recovery. I came in thinking that I only had a substance issue, but through the careful, methodical, and diligent work I came to understand the hopelessness which I was in as well as the sweet possibilities of my future in long term recovery. They connected me external resources and even helped me find a place to live after residential. When I say I love this organization and everything they do I mean it. I was blessed with the care and love of people who wanted no more for me then to help. Supported by people who lived to the tell tale and pass on their knowledge as all great humans do. My goal in entering recovery for my first time was to marry my recovery and sobriety. I was nervous and scared because I thought I wouldn’t have fun nor be fun anymore - I was wrong. The man I am today forward took his first steps out of this facility with the strength, knowledge, belief, and love that he never knew existed because of CRC. Thank you from my roots grounded in Roseville to the sun that brings light and warmth to the Earth. I will pay it forward to every other person I encounter.

Jym was awesome and very good counseler

Jym’s care for us shines through in his passion and energy while guiding us through early recovery. He is by far the best counselor I’ve ever had. I am so grateful for my experience here. I learned a lot about my addiction and I am confident in my relapse prevention plan, thanks to Jym.

Diamond House Detox is absolutely an excellent and amazing recovery house and program! I have tried several different rehab facilities but Diamond House is by far the best! The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum and groups are very balanced and engaging. Diamond House has literally saved my life! The owner Vicky isn’t just doing this for the money, she is also very compassionate about each and every patient. They also do art therapy, music therapy, meditation and sound bowls. A workout trainer come out five days a week to do cross fit, weightlifting, boxing, and yoga. They also have cinema therapy every Sunday and every Saturday they take us for an outing either bowling, dance class, pool tables and ping-pong and Equine therapy with horses. The food is so delicious with phenomenal chefs! I cannot give a more high recommendation for rehab than Diamond House! The alumni program is also wonderful with weekly Friday night speaker meetings and fun events every month like the sober bowl party , rollerskating, silent disco party And much more! If you need help with the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction, you need to go to Diamond House! They also have a fabulous PHP partial hospitalization and IOP intensive outpatient program. I love this place!

Diamond House is a great place to detox and the people (staff) are awesome and I wouldn't have it any other way.

From the moment we arrived, I was absolutely impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and compassion shown by your entire team. Starla, who was assigned as his counselor, has been nothing short of amazing. She goes out of her way to make sure he feels comfortable, and she truly takes the time to connect with her patients in a meaningful way. Her dedication and empathy have made a world of difference. D has also been incredible, except her being a Cowboys fan, she is very supportive, kind, and always present. And the doctor caring for my friend has provided outstanding attention and compassion throughout his treatment. It is clear that everyone at your facility truly cares. It shows in the way they listen, support, and treat each individual with dignity and respect. I am deeply moved and so grateful for the care my friend is receiving. Today is my "clean date" and as of TODAY I have 1 year clean and sober. This Facility saved my life! I've made several attempts at sobriety before stepping into New Dawn, but none of them approached the disease of addiction like New Dawn. They have such a different approach at treating addiction. Reiki, massage therapy, equine therapy, ECT. The staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. These people truly are there to help people. If you're considering getting sober New Dawn is, in my opinion, the best treatment center in the state of California. Possibly the country.

Excellent experience. Very professional staff that cared deeply about the success of all the clients. The accommodations were excellent. Chef made a good variety of food and was open to suggestions and dietary needs. The aftercare is also personalized.

Going to New Dawn was the best decision I ever made. The counselors at New Dawn are exceptional, and they provide excellent on-going support through their aftercare/alumni program. New Dawn saved my life and I will always be grateful.

Honestly this was not what I expected, in a good way lol. I felt safe to talk about stuff with ppl my age. The outpatient part let me stay in school. I just wish there was more on campus support after. Still helped me tons!

I came in not expectin much, but it actually helped me figure stuff out. The staff really listened and didn’t treat me like a criminal. Wish they had more for music but still felt heard. Def helped my case too.

It’s not the easiest thing watching your grown child struggle again, but this place gave me a little peace. The staff was very compassionate, and I really appreciated how they involved the whole family. I just wish the aftercare had more structure.

Fair Oaks Recovery Center provided me with an opportunity to rest, reflect, and recover from a lifestyle that was slowly killing me. I was referred to F.O.R.C after insurance complications with another facility, and I thank God that I was. This truly is an incredible program. From the general and medical staff to the clinical and leadership teams, every person I had the opportunity to work with was genuinely kind, caring, and truly invested in their effort to improve the lives of those they touch. I am now happy, healthy, and sober and would never have gotten back to where I am without the daily care and support of the facility. To anyone who needs help and healing, go to Fair Oaks and try your hardest to stay until the miracle happens. Giving up a few weeks of your life is worth saving the rest of it.

There is not enough space in this review to put into words how amazing this place is. Theresa, Mandi, Manny, Andy, Breann, Shane, Anne, all the nurses, and bth’s are a blessing to all of us that have called FORC home at some point.

An amazing program that saved my life, can’t say enough about the staff in totality, whether it be my counselors or the nursing staff down to the guy that cleaned our bathrooms and cooked our food.
