I had a lot of illness and family issues throughout the year. I had my dui class assigned last winter and aside from the rescheduling fines I've had personal experience with Thomas. The counselor and he has been amazing, very informative and helpful in my process of growing out of life experiences that were awful. 100% recommend this facility. All the people coming and counselors have been wonderful.

Such an amazing place to heal from life hurts, surrounded by encouraging staff. This Christ-centered program is FREE which is so amazing. I can’t begin to describe how grateful I am for New Dawn. They truly helped save my life. Thanks to this amazing treatment center, I’ve been in recovery for over three years now.
This location is absolutely beautiful and feels luxurious! I was a client at the Fair Oaks location, but at the time the Loomis location (this location) was co-ed, and we often got to come here for group sessions, acupuncture, nutrition classes, and even to swim in their beautiful pool. The staff was always extremely welcoming, compassionate, and knowledgeable. You could feel that they genuinely cared about us clients, our long-term recovery, and our experience while we were under their care, no matter which site we were at.
The combination of individual therapy and counseling, group sessions, and experiential activities creates an environment where real change is possible while also allowing clients to enjoy the comfort and luxury of the facility, which makes being away from home a little easier. I would 100% recommend New Dawn to anyone who wants to grow, heal, and rebuild their life.

My name is Alicia and I have been a patient at the BAART Norwood clinic since May 2014 and seen it go through amazing growth and change! I highly recommend for anyone who is serious about getting into treatment to consider this program. The Director Mellisa is fabulous and truly does do everything within her ability to help patients on every level, Margo is the angel that works at the reception window she is knowledgeable kind and respectful Always to all the patients that come in. But my absolute favorite is my counselor Shay she is fabulous, she is always open to listening and guiding and helping as much as she can, and I truly feel she has my best interest and recovery at the forefront I never feel rushed or like I’m a burden and she is incredibly relatable and nonjudgmental which is huge when your trying to be honest with yourself and them about your recovery, your everyday life struggles and everything else that contributes to success when in recovery! But a big shout out to all the dispensing nurses also they have to put up with a lot sometimes and they stay focused and determined to get everyone dosed in a timely manner! My first call to FORC was answered by Shayne and she took all the time I needed to ask questions, share my struggle, and really validate that I needed this help. She helped set my mind at ease that this was the right decision for me and my family. My first few days were emotional and a whirwind, but what an amazing staff (too many to name them all, they truly care for the clients) that helped me adjust and thrive. I cannot say enough good things about this facility. The counselors genuinely care about their clients and consistently go above and beyond to give you the support, guidance, tools, and encouragement you need to succeed. At the same time, they understand that they cannot do the work for you. They will meet you where you are, challenge you when you need it, and support you through difficult moments, but ultimately they teach you how to take accountability for your own recovery and your own life.
The groups are thoughtful and well put together, and the structure of the program encourages you to really start looking inward. Like any program, there are rules and expectations (for good reason), but if you can follow them, stay focused on yourself instead of what other people are doing, and remain open to the process, there is so much to gain here. The staff will give you every opportunity and resource they can, but you have to be willing to meet them halfway.
If you are serious about your recovery, willing to be honest with yourself, and are truly ready to put in the work, this program can truly help you change your life. The counselors will walk beside you every step of the way—but they can’t and won’t walk the steps for you. I would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone who is genuinely ready for a new way of life.

I didn't know what to expect when I came here and was very worried I wouldn't like it. After the first day I couldn't believe how helpful and friendly the staff were. I I very quickly realized I was going to learn a lot and meet some great people and that is exactly how it has played out. The counselors are absolutely amazing and I have learned more about addiction, behavioral therapy, anger management, the science of cravings and the science of addiction than I could have ever imagined. I thought I knew a lot because Ive been to a bunch of AA meetings. Boy was I wrong. The counselors have been absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful. They have personal experience and are very easy to relate to. The food is fantastic, the other clients in the house have become great friends, and I feel like these last 30 days has completely changed me into the person I was before I came here and has given me the tools to continue to live a healthy life after I leave. I feel like I got my life back. I love that they take us to the gym and keep us busy all day with groups and physical activity, serve us healthy delicious food, and took us to an Alpaca Farm which was sooooo much fun! Yoga Kelly, the massages, and the acupuncture were very helpful. I highly recommend New Dawn to anyone that is considering rehab. I didn't want to come here 30 days ago and now I don't want to leave! Do yourself a favor, even though it may feel like "I can't go to rehab now, I have too much going on!" You can and your life and your relationships with your family and friends will be so much better if you do. The owner and the staff truly care which is not something you see in every rehab.

I have been a patient at Aegis Roseville for several years now and I feel the very best part of the treatment center is the counselors. I have had a few long term counselors (including my current counselor Terri💕) that were wonderful and so helpful and I looked forward to our session every week.
There are also some staff members that have been with Aegis since before I started as a patient that are also great and helpful such as Tammy (love her). Rifka and Katie are also favorites. Those people work very hard and it shows!
There is however a high turnover rate with the front desk staff and medical assistants and I feel that this leads to miscommunication and inconsistentcy regarding rules and policies which winds up causing issues for the patients because getting the correct information you are after isn't easy. You'll get a different answer from everyone you talk to. Similarly the nurses are all trained differently on procedures such as UA's and bottle checks for example.
Each and every staff member does these things completely differently and that means that things can be overlooked for one patient and then not for another. Rules, procedures, and information should be the same for every patient.
Otherwise I have no complaints regarding rules and consequences at Aegis because they seem necessary and the consequences seem fair and they are in place for good reasons. In some of the other reviews as well as people complaining in the waiting room at Aegis there are a lot of people crying about consequences that they face and yes it can very possibly be because of miscommunication but it's also from people not following rules and then playing the ignorance card. It is not hard to follow the rules. But if you fail a UA or miss counseling or show up late you have to be ready to have take homes restricted or be put on a hold. That should be expected. Although maybe it isn't fair to be on a hold every day until your session is made up...if another counselor isn't available that's not the patients fault. If the session is rescheduled that should be enough in my opinion. Life happens for everyone and having a family and a job can really make it hard to make up counseling sessions especially having to be on an hour long hold every single day til it's made up!!
However the other main complaint that I have would be that Aegis and certain staff are terrible about culpability and consistency.
In the past when me or my partner have had an issue with take homes or UA's or missed sessions etc the staff bent over backward to find a way to always make it the patient's fault even when I could prove that it was a mistake made by Aegis. It is ALWAYS the fault of the patient no matter who's actually at fault.
I do feel the majority of the staff at Aegis are genuinely trying to help the patients and make life easier for them which is great and appreciated. If it weren't for places like Aegis life would be 100 times harder for me regarding my recovery. So I thank all the people making this possible for us and also the people paying attention to these reviews trying to make a difference for the patients.

My first experience was lackluster and overall, I am not a fan of WellSpace. Long waits on the phone, referrals hat aren't even in their own network or covered by Partnership of CA and Medi-Cal. But, my experience at J Street Infectious disease clinic has been great. Dr. Ledermann and her staff have been really great, professional, attentive to detail and thorough. For those navigating infectious disease for the first time or tracking known disease, J Street clinic is a fine place to do so.

For teens and young adults struggling with substance issues, The Pathway Program made all the difference. The program focuses on enthusiast sobriety and teaches kids that life can be fun and fulfilling when you are working together on the 12 Steps. The staff are some of the best people we have ever worked with and we have tried a lot of mental health and substance programs in the past. This program saved our son’s life and the parent support has taught us so much about raising a teen to become a responsible adult and how to deal with substance use in a healthy way. People drive from all over the area to join the group and it’s no surprise, there is no where else with this type of support.

The Pathway Program saved my daughter's life. She was completely out of control and abusing drugs and alcohol. She was getting in trouble and hanging out with the wrong crowd.
The first time I brought her to the shop, all of the counselors and kids welcomed her with open arms. She instantly had clean and sober friends her age that she could relate to and have fun with. The kids hold each other accountable and are a huge support to each other. They are together almost every day and provide the vital friendship needed to succeed in recovery.
The Pathway Program is not the typical outpatient program where you attend during the day, but then are alone at night and on the weekends. Two week nights a week the kids are together doing recovery related groups. On the weekends the kids do all kinds of different activities and learn how to have fun being sober in real life. This is part of the aftercare part of the program.
There is an excellent parent support group once a week with parents that have been through it all. The parents are so supportive and I was able to call them anytime of the day or night with any questions. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable about addiction and connect with the kids extremely well. They were also available anytime to help with crisis situations and offer support.
I feel so blessed to have been able to get my daughter the help she needed through The Pathway Program. It has changed both of our lives for the better and offered us hope for the future. I would highly recommend this program for any teens or young adults that are struggling with addiction.
