Bernadette is the best counselor I've had. From all the counselors I have had she's definitely my favorite! She's prompt to respond to my needs while maintaining her professionalism. She's not judgemental and I feel like I can open up to her, always. No matter what.

I had a lot of illness and family issues throughout the year. I had my dui class assigned last winter and aside from the rescheduling fines I've had personal experience with Thomas. The counselor and he has been amazing, very informative and helpful in my process of growing out of life experiences that were awful. 100% recommend this facility. All the people coming and counselors have been wonderful.

Such an amazing place to heal from life hurts, surrounded by encouraging staff. This Christ-centered program is FREE which is so amazing. They only have the goal in mind to draw each girl closer to Christ and get to the roots of their issues through an amazing curriculum. It was the best decision I ever made and often wish I could put life on pause again and go back! 🙏please do not listen to the hate. I have seen lives changed forever with the girls I was there with. I can’t begin to describe how grateful I am for New Dawn. They truly helped save my life. Thanks to this amazing treatment center, I’ve been in recovery for over three years now. This location is absolutely beautiful and feels luxurious! I was a client at the Fair Oaks location, but at the time the Loomis location (this location) was co-ed, and we often got to come here for group sessions, acupuncture, nutrition classes, and even to swim in their beautiful pool. The staff was always extremely welcoming, compassionate, and knowledgeable. You could feel that they genuinely cared about us clients, our long-term recovery, and our experience while we were under their care, no matter which site we were at. The combination of individual therapy and counseling, group sessions, and experiential activities creates an environment where real change is possible while also allowing clients to enjoy the comfort and luxury of the facility, which makes being away from home a little easier. I would 100% recommend New Dawn to anyone who wants to grow, heal, and rebuild their life.

My name is Alicia and I have been a patient at the BAART Norwood clinic since May 2014 and seen it go through amazing growth and change! I highly recommend for anyone who is serious about getting into treatment to consider this program. The Director Mellisa is fabulous and truly does do everything within her ability to help patients on every level, Margo is the angel that works at the reception window she is knowledgeable kind and respectful Always to all the patients that come in. But my absolute favorite is my counselor Shay she is fabulous, she is always open to listening and guiding and helping as much as she can, and I truly feel she has my best interest and recovery at the forefront I never feel rushed or like I’m a burden and she is incredibly relatable and nonjudgmental which is huge when your trying to be honest with yourself and them about your recovery, your everyday life struggles and everything else that contributes to success when in recovery! But a big shout out to all the dispensing nurses also they have to put up with a lot sometimes and they stay focused and determined to get everyone dosed in a timely manner! Kudos to everyone working there and helping make recovery possible and manageable! Thank you All!

Fair Oaks Recovery Center provided me with an opportunity to rest, reflect, and recover from a lifestyle that was slowly killing me. I was referred to F.O.R.C after insurance complications with another facility, and I thank God that I was. This truly is an incredible program. From the general and medical staff to the clinical and leadership teams, every person I had the opportunity to work with was genuinely kind, caring, and truly invested in their effort to improve the lives of those they touch. I am now happy, healthy, and sober and would never have gotten back to where I am without the daily care and support of the facility. To anyone who needs help and healing, go to Fair Oaks and try your hardest to stay until the miracle happens. Giving up a few weeks of your life is worth saving the rest of it.

Fair Oaks Recovery was a life-changing experience for me. The staff genuinely care, the program is structured, and the environment creates a strong foundation for recovery. From the clinical team to the support staff, everyone treats you with respect and encourages growth, accountability, and connection. One person who deserves special recognition is Mandi, the Alumni Coordinator. Mandi has put an incredible amount of effort into building and strengthening the recovery community. She consistently organizes fun events, creates opportunities for people to stay connected after treatment, and fosters a welcoming atmosphere where people feel supported long after they leave the program. Her dedication, energy, and genuine care for others have helped countless people build meaningful relationships in recovery and stay engaged in a positive, healthy lifestyle. Recovery can be challenging, but having people like Mandi who go above and beyond to bring the community together makes a real difference. I'm grateful for my experience at Fair Oaks Recovery and for the lasting connections I've made along the way.

Before coming here, my mom was a chronic alcoholic. Anyone reading this knows what that can entail; her life was a struggle at every step. But shes since taken control of her own life, through FORC, and shes the happiest version of herself Ive ever seen. She tells stories of what her experience was like, and its asonishing. Some people have a pre concieved notion that rehab is like a prison, but its more like a new home. She had school, homework, full meals, and happiness. She found a circle of people different from her united by experience and trauma, and this helped to open her eyes. Since graduating, shes travels 2h to Sacremento every tuesday to attend Alumni meetings. She has become a symbol to others of what a person can do when they stop being controlled and act with purpose. And at that, we thank FORC. For providing community, education, humanity, and purpose.

Amazing clinic, though its the first clinic I've been to. The doctors and councilors are more than understanding and will jump through hoops to make the right call. The receptionist are super friendly and make you feel welcomed and belonged, extreamly friendly. They are there for you and it was very apparent. I was recently transitioned from suboxone to methadone, the doctor took her time and did everything right. I could not be more relieved to have such an amazing team of people surrounding me. If you or know anyone struggling with opioid dependency, I highly recommend this clinic. Under there care, you will be heard and treated as someone who matters. If you do go here, please show respect and you won't have a worry in the world.

A great place to be hooked up with if you're battle with fentanyl, heroin, or any opioid has you pinned. The staff are kind, nice, and each has undoubtedly endured more years of opiod dependency than you. I am guessing of course, but they are pros. Enrollment couldn't be easier and dosing happens the same day. Within a month, take-homes are a reality and you can taper if and when you wish. I wish I had known of this place sooner. Sooner, like when you're panicked trying to find a place because you're about to be sick and you're out of money. Just call them. The counselors are there to help and do just that, they help. I have been attending this clinic for many years now and I have had rough times....not only do they always treat everyone with respect and care regardless of who they are or what they look like or smell like 👍 honestly because I can say from experience I've been in line next to some ripe smelling stuff...I think it's from the carpet because that's the only thing I would change. The people and staff are loving ❤️ and caring and understanding. Although I have been dealing with pain and suffering for years. I did not feel the V.A. Was for me. I scheduled an appointment many years ago, showed up and seen guys missing limbs and in wheelchairs. I felt they needed the time and resources, over the mental and physical pain I was enduring. I kept getting the mail, then the emails started, then information on the burn pits and pact act. I was heavily encouraged to go to the V.A. I was told the others missing limbs are being taken care of and I should go because I earned it too, and I wasn’t taking anything from them. So after many years I did. I want to thank the staff who greeted and helped me, as I’m new to the V.A. System. From the eligibility and E.R. Staff and everyone in between. From Dr. Lemons to Dr. Summers. I’ve heard stories about the V.A. Healthcare system that weren’t very flattering. I did not have that negative experience. Everyone was very helpful and helped me navigate not only with eligibility but through the different departments. I understand people can get complacent or have bad days, but the staff genuinely seemed they cared about the people and took their jobs seriously. I appreciate that. I know this can be a thankless job at times, seeing and hearing horrible stuff, and I do apologize for sharing some of my traumatic experiences with the staff, but they listened and put me on the right track to address my service connected needs. I really appreciate everyone who helped me last week. It was a full day, but we did a lot. I want to thank everyone who has called scheduling up all of the follow up appointments. If you are a veteran and need help you should reach out. If you feel you have a service connected injury either physical or mental, I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out, you earned it too! One thing I would like to point out, if you do have a mental and or physical injury and don’t go to the V.A. Hospital, thinking you don’t deserve it, or because you where trained to suck it up, or use other facilities you should really go. I imagine by getting veterans to come to these facilities, it helps with the budget and helps attract and retain good staff and acquire the necessary equipment and maintain facilities. I’ve been using Kaiser and Sutter for decades, but I truly believe the people I met at the Northern California V.A. Hospital really outshines the others. My journey has just started after a long delay, but you shouldn’t make the mistake I did, go. If you are a fellow veteran suffering from depression, having intrusive thoughts or thought of suicide you need to call 988. To all my fellow vets you earned it, go, give them a chance. They did a good job, if they disappoint me in the future , and this was a one off event, I’ll update it in the coming months. But no one skipped a beat. Clean facilities, professional staff. Go! Airborne all the way!

I didn't know what to expect when I came here and was very worried I wouldn't like it. After the first day I couldn't believe how helpful and friendly the staff were. I I very quickly realized I was going to learn a lot and meet some great people and that is exactly how it has played out. The counselors are absolutely amazing and I have learned more about addiction, behavioral therapy, anger management, the science of cravings and the science of addiction than I could have ever imagined. I thought I knew a lot because Ive been to a bunch of AA meetings. Boy was I wrong. The counselors have been absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful. They have personal experience and are very easy to relate to. The food is fantastic, the other clients in the house have become great friends, and I feel like these last 30 days has completely changed me into the person I was before I came here and has given me the tools to continue to live a healthy life after I leave. I feel like I got my life back. I love that they take us to the gym and keep us busy all day with groups and physical activity, serve us healthy delicious food, and took us to an Alpaca Farm which was sooooo much fun! Yoga Kelly, the massages, and the acupuncture were very helpful. I highly recommend New Dawn to anyone that is considering rehab. I didn't want to come here 30 days ago and now I don't want to leave! Do yourself a favor, even though it may feel like "I can't go to rehab now, I have too much going on!" You can and your life and your relationships with your family and friends will be so much better if you do. The owner and the staff truly care which is not something you see in every rehab. I was in the rehab back in 2012 and it was a shock at first when I was there because I was being defiant fighting it. But once you realize that they're actually really trying to help you and they care then it starts to work. After 7 months of being there I left and stayed sober for about 22 months. I relapsed because I went back into the same environment I came from I thought I could handle being around certain people in places but I was wrong. I have quit on and off since then sometimes 1 years sometimes 90 days. I am currently on day number 577 and I apply every single thing that I've learned in that rehab on a daily basis now so if I had to say anything about this place I would say that I learned a lot and if you go there pay attention listen to what they're saying it will help you in the long run with your sobriety. Don't be hard-headed and listen is my advice. And yes some of the staff there were not my favorite type of people I would hang out with, but they did the job and it helped me. So for that I'm grateful ☝️

Where to start, getting lab results should be easy but it takes two months plus. I go in for labs, low t, they say take it again in 6 weeks to confirm, 6 weeks later still low but it takes a month and a half later until they go over labs finally. They make a referral to endocrinologist he rejects it. Another 6 weeks for labs, followed by a month to hear about results. The staff and nurses are overall pretty rude if you express any dissatisfaction even when you arent saying anything verbally and are just put off by the chaos here. I had so much going on this last week, wife in the hospital, taking care of a house alone, two kids, work, vet appointments, upcoming surgery and the death of another veteran I served with via suicide but hey being slightly irritated but cordial is way too much for them to deal with... they take an hour and a half to fill zofran and then give me attitude about not wanting to wear a mask because I have a breathing problem. I'm not contagious and the labs have to do with my nausea which has been ongoing since 2017 but they didn't care to hear an explanation and then act like they are so put off by my demeanor and not even wanting to hear my words. Must be nice to have such a sheltered little life that you are put off by someones demeanor that you become rude because you find that so hard to deal with. I miss the Visalia Clinic and at this point am just at a loss for words. Patient advocate is a nice lady, she tries, doc tries but beauracracy is a nightmare, Hizen is a good dude too but getting call backs or scheduling to reach out or the front desk to not have an attitude is unreal. The lab techs are sweet too. Some of the staff needs to work on how they treat veterans. I changed my rating, they are pretty decent overall since it seems as if their staff have turned around and are doing much better.

I have been to 3 different methadone clinics and this one is by far the best. Great and super friendly staff. I just showed up one morning at 6am because my suboxone was making me feel violently nauseous all the sudden and I needed help, this place saved my life. Do yourself a favor and if you are struggling with dependence just show up and they will take care of you.

I did an intake on 8/16/23 & was unsure what to expect. The facility is very clean and homelike. I looked for every reason to leave and regain my freedom although I was not ready. My advice is to stay an follow through with the program it's a phenomenal program. Not to mention they feed the residents really well. 🙂

I arrived downtown and parked right out front. The waiting room was clean and .... empty. I had the place to myself and I was seen by a nurse within 15 minutes of arrival. Doctor Wilkes came in soon after, and was absolutely invested in finding solutions for my concerns. What a contrast to how I thought ny experience would be, based on some of these reviews. In any case, I hope people give this place a fair shot. They were the only clinic who would book an in- person appointment for me within days rather than months!

My first experience was lackluster and overall, I am not a fan of WellSpace. Long waits on the phone, referrals hat aren't even in their own network or covered by Partnership of CA and Medi-Cal. But, my experience at J Street Infectious disease clinic has been great. Dr. Ledermann and her staff have been really great, professional, attentive to detail and thorough. For those navigating infectious disease for the first time or tracking known disease, J Street clinic is a fine place to do so.

For teens and young adults struggling with substance issues, The Pathway Program made all the difference. The program focuses on enthusiast sobriety and teaches kids that life can be fun and fulfilling when you are working together on the 12 Steps. The staff are some of the best people we have ever worked with and we have tried a lot of mental health and substance programs in the past. This program saved our son’s life and the parent support has taught us so much about raising a teen to become a responsible adult and how to deal with substance use in a healthy way. People drive from all over the area to join the group and it’s no surprise, there is no where else with this type of support.

The Pathway Program saved my daughter's life. She was completely out of control and abusing drugs and alcohol. She was getting in trouble and hanging out with the wrong crowd. The first time I brought her to the shop, all of the counselors and kids welcomed her with open arms. She instantly had clean and sober friends her age that she could relate to and have fun with. The kids hold each other accountable and are a huge support to each other. They are together almost every day and provide the vital friendship needed to succeed in recovery. The Pathway Program is not the typical outpatient program where you attend during the day, but then are alone at night and on the weekends. Two week nights a week the kids are together doing recovery related groups. On the weekends the kids do all kinds of different activities and learn how to have fun being sober in real life. This is part of the aftercare part of the program. There is an excellent parent support group once a week with parents that have been through it all. The parents are so supportive and I was able to call them anytime of the day or night with any questions. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable about addiction and connect with the kids extremely well. They were also available anytime to help with crisis situations and offer support. I feel so blessed to have been able to get my daughter the help she needed through The Pathway Program. It has changed both of our lives for the better and offered us hope for the future. I would highly recommend this program for any teens or young adults that are struggling with addiction.

We are so grateful to have found Pathways! When we finally realized our 17 year old daughter had a drug and alcohol problem we had no idea where to turn. There didn’t seem to be many options for young people. We reached out to Pathways and found a welcoming program that instantly felt like family! It was a slow start for our daughter to want to be sober, but with the tools the program provided and the love and support of the group, she is almost 8 months clean and sober. Her entire outlook has changed. She’s living her life from a place of honesty and being of service to others. She has like-minded friends in the program that support her in enthusiastic sobriety. We are so thankful to have found a place that helped her make these things happen! Another aspect of Pathways that we appreciate is the parent support group. This was key as it helped us to make the right moves to help our daughter heal and move forward. It provided support, tools, and encouragement. I wish every city had a great place like this for teens and young adults to heal and find happiness! If you are looking for a place to help your kid (and you) through the challenge of addiction this is it!
