New Visions genuinely saved my life.
I went for 29 days in May of 2023, and left cause I thought I could it. I was high again 2 weeks later.
They picked me up the second time I went and welcomed me back with open arms.
I was at my lowest. Lost custody of my kids, my bf was cheating and hitting me. We were both addicts, with no way out.
When I went back they assisted me in addressing every problem I had. The counselor I had was amazing, and she made sure I knew I was heard and mattered. I was there around 5 months which is longer than most, but it was exactly what I needed.
I now have over 2 years sober from IV use of meth. I have my kids weekly with a job, my own place, and a vehicle.
Without New Visions staff and support I can honestly say, I would still be alone, at my lowest.
They provided for me in ways I couldn't provide for myself. ♥️

Excellent staff; RNs, MH staff, including Guards. I only had one bad experience with an RN during my 8 or so days, and perhaps she was just having a bad day. (Very understandable with some of the patients there, WOW!!) One of the other RNs liked to compare opinions on various shows on Netflixs and other films and tv shows we had seen, plus recommendations to each other, on the one rare day of her 3 day shift she had a little time to breathe. She also had never had an opportunity to talk to anyone who had experienced Electric Shock Therapy or some time back changed with Shock replaced by Convulsive. I understand perfectly why it is policy not to allow any mental health staff to meet, etc. with any former patients with MH issues. However, is it possible to meet in the safety of the hospital, at the discretion of the RN in this case of course. There are some very dangerous men there, some of which i met there. In fact, while I was there, a every loud female scream was heard throughout a large section of the hospital from a small room there. Obviously, a male patient did something very wrong to one of the female MH staff. Immediately, all the MH staff plus guards who heard the scream instantly dropped whatever they were doing and ran as fast as they could to her aid. Don't know any details, of course, but we patients in the area across from the activity sure we're surprised and curious about it. Also, locked in, perhaps.

The staff has been incredibly helpful for my two boys 5 and 6 over the last year who have behavioral struggles at school and at home. I had such a great experience here. I've been to alot of rehabs and I cant say the same for most of those. I didn't know if I wanted to come in or even be sober and James and Megan stayed out front with me for a long while, patiently helping me to make the right decision to come in and I am so glad I did. They have such a great team of people and I couldn't thank you guys enough. Shout out to James for always staying late and convincing me to not AMA lol i even decides to stay longer, you can tell he really pours his heart into his job and wants to help. If you are looking for a true recovery community, supportive staff that have done the work themselves, healthy and satisfying food, and the medicine that only mountain air can administer, come here. Healing, helpful, and holistic. This program addresses the roots of addiction rather than addressing surface level symptoms. Expect to work hard but also expect support of the highest caliber.

If you are nervous, hesitant, conflicted about getting help or helping a loved one get help, there isn’t a more warm-welcoming & safe place to be. All catagories you can possibly think of that would make a treatment center perfect, is exactly what Enlight Treatment Center is. I came immediately after being at another treatment center & I was terrified. When I made calls to get in somewhere, the person who answered was more concerned with my well-being than my wallet. My first day there, I was crying & I remember sitting with a counselor, Kristin, who I asked if everyone who worked there really cared & she along with every single staff member there proved just how much they cared. In fact, they really all went above and beyond to help every individuals needs in recovery. When I was near the end of my stay I was certain I was going back home right away. They helped me feel safe to try out sober living and it completely changed my life. Remember, employees are replaceable, if you’re worried about “needing to get back to work,” things will work itself out, trust the process & the staff. They have the purest hearts. I’m forever grateful for every single one of them.

I’ve have referred many people to Enlight for detox and residential as well as for mental health treatment, and let me tell you, lives are being changed lives are being saved. I’ve been working as a recovery coach for almost 15 years, worked with many different treatment centers, none of them are like Enlight. I’ve had client sent to Enlight from all walks of life; rich poor employed unemployed, people who worked to unions and blue collar men to lawyers and nurses… this is the only place I trust to be able to take care of my folks in addiction. I trust them for many reasons but mainly because they have 3 doctors on site who will see you in person as opposed to other centers who have one doctor who will see you on zoom (if ever). The team at Enlight is as experienced as it gets, most of the staff themselves have been through addiction and really treat this job as a passion. I have sent over 100 people to Enlight for detox from alcohol, Xanax, ketamine, Cocaine, Fentanyl, Heroin, Marijuana, Whippets, Adderall, Methamphetamine… you name it. Many of these people were dual diagnosis, meaning they had both mental health issues and addiction. Most of my clients that I’ve sent to Enlight are sober now! Enlight really knows how to Safely medically, detox, and set up the foundation for future success in sobriety. Love you guys. Shout out to Chef Carlo, homie is a wizard when it comes to making food. I cannot say enough good things about Windward Way! I had reached a point in my addiction where I was headed down a slippery slope toward losing it all. Through my higher power, my family was able to see I needed help and helped me get in touch with Windward Way. From the moment I walked into Campus to this very day, I have felt nothing but love and encouragement.
I didn't know anything about Rehab or treatment centers, but from talking to others they can be vastly different. Many putting profits and business over people and healing. Not Windward. Every person who works there truly cares about you as a person and how they can best help you in your journey. I felt heard and cared for. My case worker Jeri is top notch. Helpful, knowledgeable and most of all loving. There are too many techs to mention by name but each one was on par. The groups led by the facilitators were so helpful. Each facilitator brought a different style. Ken and his love for the big book, Kelly and her love of teaching us through art and inner peace, Chad and his ability to tell a story or set up a learning environment that draws you in intellectually. Tony is exceptional in just chopping it up, but always ensuring we left with a valuable tool. Otis and his ability to understand everyone in the room even given our vast age differences. Gerald and his desire to keep us involved in after care. My house manager Monica for truly listening to each housemates concerns, and I cannot forget my therapist Christina for all the insight she gave me into why I am they way I am. And last but not least the drivers. They each had a way of just listening to our chatter and somehow still teaching us skills and showing us care. I could go on all day! Love you Windward!
