I had a really memorable experience. Totally changed my mindset in a positive way. Dr. Chanter was great along with the other therapists, nurses and staff. I stayed for 37 days but wouldn’t mind staying longer if I needed to. Couldn’t recommend this place anymore. I also heard the other locations are great as well.

All the staff were professional, kind, knowledgeable and helpful with every aspect of my recovery. Group therapy was organized and meaningful. Individual counselors provided great support for me and my family. The after care plan is amazing and supportive once you leave the inpatient stay.

Been coming here for a long, long time Through my recovery I have had many counselors some better than others funny how things happen my husband transferred to Medmark from BAART in Oakland crazy we both ended up on Rich’s case load { R.I.P. RICH another great counselor } so you know we both can’t have the same counselors so of course I got kicked to the curb. Best curb I got kicked to { so to speak. } which is currently Nicole Martinez, the best I’ve ever had , She definitely help me get to where I am now she goes above and beyond helped me in my life so much, I don’t even know what I’m gonna do when we goes our separate ways 😔..I wish I can take her with me. I wish I can give her 20 ⭐️’s but was only given an option of 5 ⭐️.

I've been going to the program since June 2023. I started out in Concord, was only there for 4 to 6 months before they shut it down. From there I went to Antioch. I have had two counselors, Travis and Danelle, the both of them are Awesome! Very caring, understanding, helpful, and kind! The nurses are great, and the persons at the front desk are Great too. I've been going to the BAART clinic in Antioch, CA for nearly 8 hrs and absolutely love the program. So much so I got my BFF to get treatment there and she also lives it and is so glad she took the initiative to go there and like me has found relief from the bandage of addiction. I've had a few counselors and love them all. It is like a big family there from the counselors to the dispensing nurses and all the patients. All the patients know each other and support each other. You feel very safe & supported in their relaxed, chill & friendly environment. I would recommend it to anyone experiencing the bondage of addiction. Bcz now instead of the stress of finding opiates and fear of not having them and facing withdrawal now i just take my dose in the morning and don't even think about opiates the rest of the day. Opiate addiction can be an all consuming full time job in which your entire life revolves around getting enough opiates fearing running out and the absolute misery of withdrawal. when you can't get them. But going to BAART has gotten me off that hammster wheel so I can enjoy my life without having to even think about opiates anymore. If you in bondage to opiate addiction do yourself a favor and FREE yourself by going to BAART and start truly livingb& enjoying your life.

This place has a bad reputation, I understand. However, I’ve seen it help several people that actually wanted the help and used the program properly.There is several key words in this comment that are necessary and down right vital in order for the clinic to work the way it was intended. It can help people lead a sober life and there are people that work there that care for the welfare and wellbeing of the patients that go there.

New Bridge offers an exceptionally talented team of, staff members, addiction specialist, and clinician's who've helped me address my co-occurring substances and mental health issues. The New Bridge environment (residential treatment facility, & extended satellite sober living environment), are safe and clean, and provide the type of space where I was able to successfully focus on, addiction & mental health curriculums, group therapy, as well as personalized "one-on-one" therapy/counseling sessions. Additionally, the treatment facility environment is supportive of "peer-to-peer" feed back & coping skills, "focus" and "affirmation tools".., all (to which I found) have great value in early recovery...!
What I enjoyed most about New Bridge is the dignified and professional way each staff member treated me, and treated me as valued (from the newest staff member, to the kitchen staff, to nurse staff, maintenance staff, the on-site doctors, to group staff, the clinical coordinator staff, the assistant director, up to the director). These staff members, all, display a "real human" level of authenticity and care...! I'm truly happy that I chose New Bridge..!!!
I will offer this thought to anyone who is wondering if this is the right place, or not..., "if you have a true and real desire to gain recovery, everything you will need to assist you, to help you focus, guide & support you in the process of recovery.., can be found at New Bridge..!!!" Would recommend to anyone who has the desire to change their life. Tools that will last me a lifetime and helped me learn to take accountability. Perfection isn’t possible when dealing with a lot of people who are sick, but they do a darn good job. I felt important. I felt that they always had my best interest at heart. Special shout out to all of the counselors and milieu staff who work their butts off!

I was truly amazed by this place!!! The extent my case manager went through to find me after care humbled me. He tried for hours and would not give up. And I do mean hours. The staff was really caring and it transcended to the clients. It felt like a family here. I laughed so much here but also learned so much. The counselors really got out of their way here. Their sense of humor was so appreciated specially when you come in feeling so down. They included everyone and were really informative. They even invited me to be involved in their spirituality groups that opened my eyes to a different world I knew nothing about. I felt a part of. It's not my first time I've been in rehab and I would highly recommend this place.

St Mary's Center gives me the feel of home away from home. It's somewhere for seniors to come and get a nutritional meal and receive help in housing. I was locked out due to an unlawful eviction in 2022 & lived in my car for a month while attending St Mary's center. I was a breast cancer survivor until 2023 when I was diagnosed cancer-free & in Feb of that year I was housed in a transitional room through St Mary's. They gave me a safe community where I was able to restart my life, take care of my mental & physical health issues, & in Jan 2024 they helped me get permanent stable housing at Depot Community Apts in Hayward. If anybody needs a safe place to get help, I urge you to come & connect with this senior center. They are a lifesaving God-given resource to help fix your life issues & THRIVE! Easy traffic and parking if go there early on Fridays. Staff is very nice. Grounds are beautiful with a lot of frequent wildlife strolling by, esp early or late. One thing I would request- return of the deli. There is no place close by to get food when there are several appointments to do.

I rated Villa 5 stars because this was the only place I was able to be comfortable. They had a daily schedule of different things to do. During your stay you can have visitors and after the 72 hr hold give you passes to leave the campus for an hour or so. The staff was great and the patients were also welcoming. I gotta give these guys 5 stars mainly because the only other review is an (in my opinion) unfair one star rating. I was in Villa Fairmont several years ago and while it may have had some problems (more like a 3.5 or 4 star) it was a place that helped me stabilize in a safe location until I was accepted in a Dual Diagnosis Recovery Home (Bonita House). I currently work in the recovery field and live an independent life. To me that is worth all of the struggles that I have had with any of the programs I have been in. Gotta go through hell before you get to heaven. That's just the way it is when you have a diagnosis that isn't socially acceptable... The system may not be perfect and there is certainly lots of broken components, but we need some kind of system and it does work for some. I know because I'm one.

They respected my need for privacy and were cool about me still needing to check in on work. The therapists actually listened and the CBT helped me deal with the anxiety I’d buried. My loved one is currently at MPI. In the time she's been there, she's been to serveral 12 step meetings, has received one on one counseling and tons of education regarding this disease. Additionally, there is a family plan so that we can be the best support for her when she goes home. MPI is an excellent place. She will be there for at least another week or two and is very happy she went and we have very high expectations for her as a result of the treatment.

(for the teen unit) This place generally was one of the most helpful places ever all the staff was so incredibly sweet, the OTs especially shout out to Hana (one of the OTS) because she was so amazing, the groups were very well done and it was so incredibly supportive there, there where also a lot of fun activites like painting nails, writting afirmation cards, bracelet making, movie nights, playing bordgames, all the other teenagers that where there well I was there where abosulte sweet hearts and I ended up staying in touch with them one I got discharged- the nurses where all pretty good but shoutout to my nurse Elena she was so helpful and really was able to support me through any needs, this place save my life and got me out of the deep end and am so incredibly thankful for all of it<3 thank you Alta bates phscy ward

This place saved my life. The first time I came here, I was 12 years old. I was very scared but the staff were really nice and supportive. The program is really helpful, I'd recommend this place to any child who is struggling with mental health. They also have a program to treat ED's. I've been to the 3 East B adolscent psych unit multiple times, so I'm very familiar with everyone. The therapist Emilio, Megan, and Susanna were so nice to me, and a nurse named Chris. I spent 2 of my birthdays here, my 13th and my 14th. They made it a fun time even if we were in a hospital:) The patients I've been with were always really nice. So, I just left Palm treatment/detox center and wanted to leave a review while it’s fresh in my mind. To begin, when I was first getting checked in, a girl was on her way out literally crying with gratitude for how much this place saved her life. You could tell how genuine and appreciative she was. Super heart warming, so that was a good start.
Pros to going to Palm Ave:
-The staff is great, they genuinely care and all are in recovery themselves so they’re very empathetic.
-It’s small, so if you’re someone who is anxious or nervous, don’t be. If I had to guess I’d say they can only hold up to about 15-20 at most and that’s a huge positive when you’re not at your best at don’t want to be around a hundred other people.
-Food was very clean, healthy, and always available.
-Meds are all taken care of for you, they’ll even pick up your prescriptions and make sure you get them on time, even if you’re asleep, they’re on top of it.
-There’s really only one mandatory meeting (NA/AA) but several groups which are optional that I found really helpful and well led.
-They don’t press you on where or when you need to be somewhere like other treatment centers do. If you need to sleep- you can sleep.
Special shout out to Christian (who helped with meds, he always has good music playing and just a very positive vibe). Also, Tree. I spent ten minutes talking to this man and gained more perspective than I have in probably the last three years. Heather also, very chill and easy to talk to. These people really care. They’ve completely turned their lives around and some have come from really difficult pasts. It’s inspiring to hear their stories.
Not to turn this into a novel but I’m just really stoked places like this exist- and free no less with medi-cal. To finish, if you’re struggling at all, just go for a few days. I only stayed a few days bc I had previously detoxed in a hospital but some stay much longer- the choice is yours.
Thank you to everyone at Palm Ave. I won’t forget it.

Place is amazing!..Staff is amazing and they take the time to make sure that your doing okay. Not just a cursory.." Good Morning" or " Good Night" They actually take an interest in why your there and what they can do to make your stay as successful as possible.
Classes are set up and offered throughout the day to ensure that you have some tools when you leave. There is medical on sight and a caseworker who jumps through hoops to make sure that each client has access to all the available resources in the county.
They have a business model that is golden and should be mirrored by similiar businesses.

I have had an excellent experience at Palm Detox. They reopened and came recommended by members of the community. I was hesitant at first but I showed up embarrassed and defeated.
was treated with respect and staff went out of the way to help me. Female lead staff even brought me clothing, books and hygiene from her home because I was in need of deodorant and the stuffuu they had didn’t work. I didn’t ask, she overheard me and another client talking. She brought him some clothing and a notebook. This place has amazing staff. They tend to follow the rules and it’s annoying sometimes cause I’d like to smoke more and have SUGAR. But I do recommend plus they help u find treatment after.

CDRP is a wonderful program full of counselors that really care about your health. But it won't work if you don't care.
