He Is absolutely great in helping us understand what’s going annd explains everything to us. He is always understanding and calm when talking to my father-in-law which has dementia and Alzheimer’s. Every time I have a question or need medication I just called the office and I have no problem getting a response back right away.

My husband was admitted to Live Oak Rehab on July 18, 2025, following a right total hip replacement. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Maly. I was initially worried that our insurance might not cover the services, but she reassured me and clearly explained that everything was authorized and covered by our provider. We were extremely satisfied with the care he received. Everyone—from social services staff like Gigi and Ruby, to Armando (RN), the physical therapists Allen, Ritz, Nancy, and the rest of the nursing team—was dedicated and kind. The facility is consistently well-maintained by the custodial staff. I would absolutely recommend Live Oak Rehab to anyone in need of a supportive and welcoming place for recovery.”

I don’t understand why this facility is not rated higher!!! My mom is there and the staff are incredible, accommodating, kind, attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. I have literally entrusted them with my mom’s life after taking care of her for 20 years. Since she’s been there, she’s put on weight (which she desperately need to) and maintained her weight, she is happy every time I talk or visit with her. Her disposition is excellent. The only reason, I didn’t give them a 5 star rating is because of a communication issue, which has now been rectified. If you’re looking for a place to take care of your elderly loved ones, this is the place!!!!! Kudos to Gigi for her wonderful professionalism.

I recently had to place my dad in a rehab facility do to being hospitilized from a fall and head injury. I'm so thankful I found Live Oak. I can't say enough good things about their staff. Alex was amazing and always very communicative, day or night. Molly was great getting us situated and walking us through and what to expect. Gigi was awesome answering my 101 questions and always will to go above and beyond her normal responsibilities. All in all every person we encountered came across as caring and sincere, which to me is more important than fancy equipment and fresh coat of paint on the building walls. At the end of the day, everyone their got the job done in getting my dad healthy enough to go home. Thank you to all at Live Oak.

This place made me feel like there was hope after a recent eviction. Nancy really cares about her clients and Is meticulous when necessary with paperwork and filings are done correctly and on time. I can’t say enough good things.

I have been a client of FAP for many years now. I was diagnosed in 1998 so I have had my fair share of case managers. With out a doubt Tammy Knight has been the best. She is down to earth if she says she is gonna do something she does it. She keeps it professional but still makes you feel like your talking to a friend. Man… Puente House 444. I loved it. I hated it. But I needed it. Looking back, I wouldn’t trade those six months for anything. When I arrived, I was needy, hungry, angry, stubborn, and convinced I had it all figured out (I didn’t). 😤 I hated the rules, the structure, but knew it is something I needed. But little by little, I started to understand. Puente isn’t just about sobriety—it’s about becoming someone you can respect. The staff didn’t sugarcoat anything. They called me out, pushed me, and supported me in ways I didn’t know I needed. ❤️ I came to love the community—the kitchen laughs, the raw group talks, the late-night convos with guys who most likely did not make it. Some days I couldn’t stand facing myself, or even shower. Other days, I felt more alive than I had in years. What makes 444 special is how it sticks with you. Shouting “444” during meetings or hearing it from someone picking up a chip gave me something I’d been missing: belonging. That alone killed off my loneliness. Today, I’ve got over 9 months sober. Puente House and Karl Moris gave me a community and the support to dive into AA and subsequently, begin to rebuild my life to even better than what it was before. I'll be 8 months sober/clean on 5/9/25 and it's all because of Puente House and how it has been a truly life-changing place for me. The structure, accountability, and supportive community have played a major role in helping me rebuild my life in recovery. It’s clear that the staff and leadership are committed to creating an environment where people can genuinely grow and heal. While no place is perfect, what stands out here is the consistency in support and the focus on long-term sobriety. I’m incredibly grateful for the foundation this program has given me—not just to stay sober, but to thrive.

Don’t even bother trying to go here if you don’t have a family to support you. I was denied treatment because I don’t have a supportive family or someone who is willing to donate a few hours a week to go to a family session with me. It is hard enough to be on your own in the world and still have the courage to ask for help. To be denied mental health services because you don’t have a supportive family system or a friend who can donate a lot of time to your recovery is fundamentally unethical. And it sticks a knife in the very essence of something terribly painful for people who are alone in the world. This also speaks to the very nature of eating disorders facilities. These facilities are generally geared for people of a certain socio-economic populous. In other words generally wealthy white women. These people usually have others who support them. They do not serve low income people who come from abusive backgrounds with little to no support except the courage in their hearts to help themselves. You do not hear about people having to have a support in order to receive mental health treatment anywhere else. This is a disgrace, shameful, and a stain on the mental health system.

This facility gave me hope and the tools I needed to make the changes in my life to live without dependance on drugs

where the hell do i even start. this is literally not a safe environment, at all. all of the staff are VERY passive aggressive and seem that they shouldn't be working in an eating disorder facility. like who even hired them.. a dietician literally told me I gained weight, I brought this up to Sylvia and she said if that affects you so much it shows you shouldn't discharge. these people seriously do not care about you, they only see you as $$$, just wanting money from you. I wanted to discharge and they went on scaring my parents saying "its ama!!!" and that "my social worker will be advised!" not even taking into consideration my literal essay I wrote why I felt like I could be discharged. they failed to de-escalate the situation when they said they didn't wanna discharge me and I literally had a panic/anxiety attack after the family session causing me to feel super nauseous and literally gagging. oh also, the dietician got super weird about me going over my meal plan, like I'm gonna follow my hunger cues, and I learned that in residential. she got pressed about me going over it and went on saying I didn't follow my meal plan even though I went over it because I was SUPER hungry. this is literally a program for eating disorders.. how is it possible for staff to literally make me feel even more guilty than I already am. having this disorder is enough. and being forced to attend to a program that has the worst staff ever is too much. not even done yet, I love the fact that they tell everyone that its a voluntary program. when in reality the options are to stay there or transfer to residential. those aren't even choices. they act like we as patients have the choice, but we really dont. programs like these, more specifically, staff like these are the reason people dont recover from eating disorders, because you guys literally DO NOT KNOW how to help. sometimes you guys make things even worse, dont think I didn't read the other reviews. I should've trusted the reviews I saw before coming here because I experienced everything everyone else did. should've trusted my gut but at least I'm gonna get help at another facility. thanks for nothing update - lol I'm trying to get into another php because I just got out of residential and I need a php !! and valenta told the php that I didn't follow the rules. These guys are Hands-On with their approach I was minding my own business in their parking lot with my bags on the street going through hardship I am John representative from the church and social model recovery organization talk to me for 20 minutes great talk gave me $10 for a meal and went and got me great shoes as my shoes were falling apart 30 minutes direct approach really helped these guys are doing good invited me out to the church for resources

Wonderful place for health care and educational programs having to do with good health.

This is the worst service ive came across. Im over here trying to seek treatment and i call to make an appointment and the lady tells me she cant cause her system is down. I cannot believe that!! Trying to do good just to get shut down. Horrible drug treatment. For them its just a job i need real heart warming humans to guid me to were i have to go to get some treatment
