I was admitted 04/22/24. Recovering from opioid addiction. This was my second time around. However, this time I put in a maximum effort in every group along with every assignment..I wanted to be successful in my recovery. I was warmly greeted and got down to business. It's is amazing what we can accomplish with a open mind, trusting heart and a willing spirit. The staff was incredible.. truthful.. and actually cared.Currently I am 92 days sober...no wants or desires ...or cravings.I strongly recommend Mrs Sherry " pain group " it is intense....but it had such a profound effect in my life.If you need help.. reach out, HVRC is in the top 20 centers in the nationI usually don't do reviews....Every word is true and heartfelt... It feels weird posting a review of a rehab, facility, huh? Well, if it helps make anyone feel more comfortable and confident in seeking help, I guess it's worth it. I did a medical detox from benzos here. The staff are all wonderful, caring people, who take good care of you and try to keep you comfortable and safe. With their treatment, I felt no withdrawal symptoms and aside from some drowsiness, no side effects. The only possible complaint I have is the food, but it kept me nutritionally satisfied, and that's enough. It's not a vacation.If you feel like you need to make a change in your life, or got referred by your doctor or a family member, I fully recommend the place. Recovery is hard, but they'll do their best to make the initial (and scariest, IMO) detox process as easy and comfortable as possible.

Been two years and never posted/sent a thank you. Hemet got me out of a rough spot in San Clemenete and helped to get my job back in Dallas.

What you need to know about Ranch Creek Recovery:They accept health care insurance. Katie was great in helping me find the right healthcare provider and coordinating enrollmentPRIOR TO ARRIVAL:coordinate which house you will be staying at (Bass or Dorrien), what day you'll be arriving, how you'll get to the program, pack a week worth of clothes including a bathing suit, books, booklight (if you plan to read, because all lightbulbs are the dimmest possible), and alarm clock (unless you like counselors walking into your space, waking you up randomly).UPON ARRIVAL:You will need to be dropped off (there is no personal parking or vehicle storage). You'll go through a search (appropriately, light pocket check and bags emptied) all electronics will be confiscated (headphones, phones, chargers, etc) and stored in a locked closet. Full inventory documented for all items. You will have up-to 3 days to DETOX as needed where you can sleep and rest privately. I personally got bored very fast and decided to join the group early rather than just sleep, but the option is available as needed.ONCE SETTLED IN:There is a 7 day blackout period where you are not allowed phone or computer use and can not have visitors or communicate with family/friends (emergency exceptions). There are typically 4 (one hour) group sessions daily, during which either worksheets are used from various therapy resources, or rehabilitation-related YouTube videos are shown. Counselors rotate based on internal scheduling. You'll have 1-2 private therapy sessions scheduled each week for one on one with Leena or Christine both are great to work with and talk to one on one. Meals are scheduled 3 times a day, residents are responsible for cooking their own meals and can "graze" in making snacks/meals as needed.DEPARTING:A close-out assessment will be completed prior to your scheduled last day with an emergency safety plan for sign off. A pick-up time will be scheduled, all itemized inventory reviewed with sign-off. an IOP Intensive Outpatient Program will be offered through RCR Ranch Creek Recovery and/or a plan for after care reviewed.NOTES:Phone use allowed 1 hour a day at night after dinner, following a 7 day blackout period. Group sessions can be "boring" lots of downtime, lots of staff turnover.There are two houses BASS & DORRIEN.Bass is the main property and where groups are held.Sleeps 6 residents. There are 3 private bedrooms each with a queen bed (one has it's own bathroom, the other 2 share a bathroom), and 1 oversized bedroom with 3 queen beds, another full bathroom by the living room. big screen smart tv, L-shaped old sofa [over-due to be replaced], matching captains chair with footrest [also ready to be replaced], eloquent dining room (dedicated as an art space), enormous dream kitchen with separate pantry room, food shopping is done once a week with a list (residents responsible to cook their own meals), Pool Table, Ping Pong,, Pool (ICE COLD), Jacuzzi (turned on Friday night only, no lights), garage with some gym equipment (you can use during free time), and a large sunny well maintained backyard is accessible.Dorrien is the "overflow" smaller secondary house about 10 minutes away. Also sleeps 6 total. 1 large bedroom with 3 beds, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, 1 master with a queen bed which shares a jack-and-jill bathroom. TV, living room, hot tub.DAILY ITENTERARY:This is where it gets a bit "grey space" ....There is a plan on paper (somewhere) and then there is reality.PAPER PLAN*I could be slightly off, as no schedule was providedwake up 7am-7:30ambreakfast 8am-9am9am-12pm & 1pm-5pm grouplunch 12pm-1pm dailydinner 5pm-6pm dailyfree time 6pm-10pmTuesday = Sound Therapy (AMAZING)Wednesday = Yoga (BEGINNER)Thursday = Fitness Training (NOPE)Friday = Educational Rehabilitation Movie & Horse TherapySaturday = "outing activity" (NOPE)Sunday = Family visitation 12pm-4pm (last 2 weeks only)its helpful if youre looking to get clean. The property and people are nice overall.

This is, by far, the best recovery center that I have experienced and heard of. I have been sober since I left Ranch Creek 3 1/2 years ago. They saved my life physically, as I was about a month away from being put onto the liver transplant list, they saved my marriage and relationship with our four children, and they saved me emotionally, as Dr. Dena was able to get some of my issues to a conclusion without me using alcohol to numb the pain. I do the work every single day, but I wouldn't be here without Ranch Creek. They definitely do it right!

This place has saved my life. The counselors, the nurses, the teachings (tools), and the environment were amazing. They were very patient, caring, and understanding. I learned so much there and gained a whole new self identity. After inpatient, they offered me an outpatient program that you can partake either in-person or via Zoom. That is so necessary and beneficial as well. I would suggest that anyone who wants and needs to get their life back or reshape who they are for the better to give this place a try. I live life through new eyes and with a healthy mind. You won't be disappointed.

SBT has helped me regain my life back. I came here totally broken from drugs and alcohol - carrier gone, family gone, dignity gone, life completely devastated. Through therapy, counseling, groups, and Dr's, my Mental Health has been restored and I now have the tools to step into the world and be a father and a productive member of society. Solutions Based Treatment has saved my life! The love and support are second to none. Thank you to everyone who works there, you all played a role in loving me back life.

If it wasn't for this place I'd still be heavy in my addiction it was a life saver for me. They got me out there the same day I called met some great people, counselors were great and got me to belive in myself more and that I didn't need drugs or alcohol to live a happy life.

Best call I ever made. Not only did they help me through detox, but I was also prescribed depression medications that really helped be during the process. In addition, you are taught how to maintain sobriety. The homes are always kept clean and comfortable and hold at least 8 clients. There is one on one therapy sessions with a certified therapist. The group therapy sessions are kept small so you're not lost in a crowd of people. You are taken to actual AA and NA meetings in the area. You are also taken on weekend trips to a store to purchase personal items, clothing, and snacks for yourself and to the movies, beach, hiking and other fun activities. The staff is genuine in their care for you and give you personal attention. They brought my energy level back up and I feel normal again with more energy and I made numerous new friends that I still keep in contact with and I consider family. I highly recommend this place to anyone that needs help.

Pros: Caring Staff, Balanced Groups, Decent Food as far as rehabs go. Visits are allowed on weekends after 7 days.Cons: Occasionally some clients that need special mental needs met slip in the cracks and it is difficult to replace them where they need to be.It seems like corporate has the budget in too high of a chokehold, I can't imagine 50+ men at a rehab do not facilitate a higher budget than what is currently allocated. Clients shouldn't be able to feel this.If you are not keen on a lot of men around you, consider other options with smaller populations. If you are heading here without a choice, talk to your counselor about any accommodations.If you are looking to get sober, this is a place that runs a dog through the facility and tries to take measures to better facilitate it to those that want to make a serious change for their lives. If you have derailed your life and hit rock bottom, got felonies, or you just got out of prison and have conditions, this is definitely a good spot to put your life back on track. If you are going to rehab for the right reasons, you will not have an issue with 90% of the staff. Most treatment options felt like just like they were farming us for the money, this was NOT one of those facilities.Even if you don't know where you are, give this a shot. I'm glad I did!

Judee is a life saver! She was so helpful and knowledgeable! She got my son approved for outpatient and in patient treatment within days! She was genuine and cared about our son s safety, health and empathized with us as parents going through this for the first time! She never gave up and gave us so many options to help him every step of the way! Everyone at IOP and the Ranch were welcoming and made a huge difference and impact in my son s life. I can t thank this community enough for saving my son s life! We will visit the ranch soon to thank everyone in person!

I recently went through residential treatment at Rancho Milagro and this place helped save my life!! I was treated excellent and the facility is awesome. The staff was very professional and they treated me with the utmost care. I would not have made the steps I have made in my recovery from addiction without the team at the ranch. It is my opinion that Rancho Milagro is the Malibu of Riverside County and I would refer any of my family or closest friends to them if they needed help with addiction in a safe and caring environment.

I had a few amazing stays with Rancho Milagro and I appreciate all the help they ve provided me. The staff members are awesome and make it a more personal experience by showing vulnerability and accommodating for our needs during a rough detox. Highly recommend.

I was here for treatment for 8 months and I had an addiction to fentanyl and bipolar disorders . Another rehab didn t want to keep me because of my kidney failure due to drug use and Angelika welcomed me with open arms !! Beautiful spirited woman !! She goes above and beyond for her clients and treat you like family !! This rehab is the only reason I got sober ! They let you go at your own pace and won t be quick to kick you out !! Nice food , nice outtings !! She takes very good care of us !! Don t think twice about coming it doesn t feel like a facility or hospital and you get to keep your phone !! Nice bedrooms , big beds , your own bathroom and my favorite No ROOM Mates ! And btw Chris the Manager is awesome!!! The only people that had problems with him were the ones that weren t serious about the sobriety!! He was one of my favorites !

Very nice place it help me change my life an for that I am grateful the owner Angelica is the sweetest most loving person I've met let me tell it all staff is cool only thing I didn't like was the Chris Guy he runs the place for Angelica real control freak but it's a very great place if you are looking to get Sober

My friend Gary Pope spent 2 years in this program. He did very well and is now living a sober life. I would recommend this program because the people actually care and give individuals the hope they need to succeed. Thank You so much!

I was at the liberty House the beginning of February I just left there on the 14th of March the staff was amazing there like my second family they have amazing groups I'm going to miss everyone there. I would and have recommended them to everyone that's tired of being in their addiction..

Great place to go to medical detox. Beautiful property. staff was kind and informative. Food was epic.

Liberty House is an amazing rehabilitation. It felt like home and I am sad to be leaving. Also Mrs Serafin, Ray, Juan,Tina and Mrs Izzy are Amazing and Caring people.

This clinic has been a life saver for myself and a few of my closest friends. The girls in the front are amazing and very kind. Arlene, my counselor, is always there when I need to talk or have questions and is very helpful with my sobriety. I feel lucky to have found out about this treatment center before it was too late.

Great please new management so let's see how it goes ! I love that the have a lot of programs and security he gets people to leave that aren't supposed to be here and both other people!

NP Christopher Taylor at Lake Elsinore and staff including Carla and I believe Jonathan at the front desk went out of their way to take care of me. I m much obliged and understand the rules of operations and it s hard to make everyone happy but they took care of me and they are always so polite. I d say to everyone reading this before leaving a bad review understand what medical professionals have to go through far as rules and policies. Thank you for helping me. 10 star service !
