On May 4th, 2024, I began the process of a new way of living. Looking back, I realize the true beginning wasn't the day I entered detox—it was the moment I called and admitted I needed help. I didn't let hesitation dominate my decision, just as I had never hesitated when it came to drinking and using.
Though I had worked at a detox facility before, being a client at Leona Valley was a completely different experience—one that proved instrumental in finding clarity about my life. I arrived empty and dead inside, filled with forty forms of fear and desperation. This was my normal state when I chose to relapse. The trip to detox made me realize that while the path to recovery is steep, I couldn't walk it alone.
When the chance came to repair my broken life, despite all my previous attempts, the clinical staff—Veronica, Tiffany, and Liz—pushed and encouraged me to participate in my recovery. After emerging from my booze and cocaine haze, Veronica and Nurse Teshara persisted daily, encouraging me to write and push through my creative measures to find clarity. Looking back, they saw something within me that addiction had buried—my greatness.
I found myself surrounded by people who were far greater than I thought I could ever be. The clinical and medical staff helped me overcome the negative feelings I harbored toward myself, guiding me toward a new path of healing and self-discovery.
I would hide from the staff and the owners and they would ways find me and wanting to see how I was doing.. No matter where I went in the house they always seemed to find me showing care and concern for my well being and this is just a testament of what Leona bring to assisting those who really need that extra push that mqny places just can't or are unwilling to do. I would extremely recommend Leona Valley to anyone looking to start over.

Leona Valley is a great place for recovery. I truly have not seen any other rehab treat me like this like Leona has. When I first came to Leona, I was so out of it. I was so out of touch with the world and after 30 days, I did not even recognize myself, I recommend this place for anybody and everybody. It is a very good place and is very far from all the nonsense, this is where you can actually get sober and clean.
