I personally am very grateful for the staff at this clinic. As I am sure everyone can imagine they get all types of clients and some people are jerks. If you go in there with a good attitude and treat others the way you want to be treated you will have a excellent experience. The counsellors are great, if you want to talk and work through your issues they are there for you if you don't want to be bothered they understand that too. Some people go there to actually get help and some people are just there because they are out of money and don't want to be sick wich I have been in both situations myself so I get it. I read a comment complaining about the dose increases and I have never experienced any of what they are talking about. This is actually how it works, if you need an increase then you knock on your counsellors office door and ask for one, they ask you how you are doing and if you simply tell them my dose is not cutting it they will put in for a increase with the doctor. Within the next 2 days you will have it unless its the weekend then you may have to wait until Monday. I have never been given a hard time about an increase. As a matter of fact I was getting regular increases until I reached the dose that worked for me. They offer 2 different programs 1 is for maintenance and the other is to taper to quit. The choice is yours wich one you choose. When you go to get your dose it's usually very quick, you check in and they call you 5 minutes or less later. You are required to take a urinalysis monthly and when you first start. Nobody says anything if you are dirty but if you want to get take home doses you must be clean for 4 months I believe and then they will start you with 1 week at a time and you can work up to 2 weeks worth of take homes I believe. I have never had any problems with any of the employees there at all. I have seen a few attitudes here and there but who doesn't have days like that? Like I said it was never for no reason either and like I also said they get all types of clientele and some people are just rude a holes. I think the counsellors are great people, I do think they might have a little too much of a case load as in too many patients but I have been happy with the 2 different counsellor's that I have had. I personally prefer dosing to suboxone because I have a lot less cravings. People say you are just trading one addiction for another and that is true to an extent. But you are not going to get a bad dose here and overdose and possibly die. It's all up to you and what you want to do with your life whether you want maintenance or to taper off everything. When I was seeing a different doctor getting prescribed subutex I was getting 8-8mg pills a day prescribed to me. Now that doctor didn't care at all about me and it wasn't a secret. I definitely just traded drug dealers and that doctor cost me $2400 for my pills plus $200 for the script per month. I tapered myself down to 2 pills a day mainly because I couldn't afford to pay for my script. When I asked that doctor about getting off of everything he said that I had to stay on it forever. I didn't like the idea of having to rely on a medication just to feel normal and not get sick or have bad cravings. Every 12 step meeting I went to would say that if you are on medication then you are not sober and would make you feel like a piece of crap for taking it. So I decided to stop taking it and it didn't work of course. Then I had a different doctor explain to me that just because I take a medication it is not the same as getting high. He confirmed that you can't even get high from the medication and that people have to take different medications every day for all kinds of reasons so I shouldn't beat myself up for taking a medication that keeps me from getting dope and getting high. My point is that even if you end up taking a medication for the rest of your life don't beat yourself up over it and it's nobody else's business what medications you take so don't take crap from anyone about it. Any prescription is much safer than street drugs.

It's a great place it really helped me but the staff decides when they want to follow the rulesThey can be very disrespectful and cold hearted, you're also expected to bite your tongue. I personally have had staff lie about me to higher ups, and plain deny saying things that were told to me face to face. They have had so many different managers and staff it's crazy, soon as staff realizes what's going on They quit. If you can keep your head down, submit to their power trips, and not let them push your buttons you'll be fine. Good luck

Accepted Insurance

Western Pacific Medical works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.
12-step icon12-Step
Participants engaged in 12 step programs receive intensive peer coaching (sponsorship) and community support. Spiritual development as a means of achieving psychological and emotional healing and growth is the cornerstone of 12 step recovery, but religious affiliations are not required. Meetings are free, anonymous, and open to the public, though specialized formats are available, including groups for seniors, teens, and family members. Evening, night, and day meetings are conducted year-round in most communities.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Accreditations

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Established in 1992 by congress, SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on American's communities.

I first went to this clinic when I was guest dosing when I came out here for vacation with my husband. They were great during that time and by the end of my vacation, we knew that we wanted to move here, and so the explained how to do that. Six months later I was back and everything went very smoothly. I think they have been very helpful and are there anytime I need them, and they have helped me a lot and am very thankful for them. Plus my counselor is great, which I am very grateful for, because I had problems in that area in Milwaukee, where I moved from. I would recommend this place, and anyone who has something negative to say about methadone, don’t listen to them. Do you, and don’t let other people’s opinions dictate what you are going to do, or how you are going to improve your life. I would not be where I am today without this program! It worked for me, and it can work for you, if you want it to. And not everyone just goes up and up. The point is supposed to be a therapeutic dose, and I found mine at 80 mg. But the number is not important because it is different for everyone. When it comes to you and your situation and your sobriety, do you and what you need and don’t worry about what other people say because they are not you and are not dealing with addiction daily like you are. This is just one option. But I tried cold turkey, I tried Suboxone, and methadone is the only thing that worked for me, and I thank God that it worked every single day! I am here and I am thriving and you can be too! If I can do it after being addicted for 12+ years you can too!

I beat methadone. All you guys are doing is trading one devil for another really. Sorry to say that’s how they make money of you it’s like being chained to a ball .one out of a thousand will beat it . It’s very sad to say remember 1 out of a 1000 will overcome methadone clinic. I know people that been stuck there for over 25 years . It was the hardest thing to do . Especially when they keep dosing you up all you do is ask and you get more no problem. F that stupid box to put your doses in. Staff is some what ok I guess remember you trading one devil for another. councler don’t care or take time to even talk to you. At all
