Highly recommend this company! This is a great program for either first timers or if you are looking for something different to try in your recovery journey. The staff are supportive of your individualized needs and you get ample attention as opposed to fading into the background. Here you can build strong and trusting relationships with both staff and others seeking treatment. The IOP also helps you to continue building upon a foundation of mental and physical health as you move towards a more positive future. This is a review of them coming from the heart!

I was a patient at DFC rehab facility and recently graduated. I can say hands down they saved my life . Not only did they teach me about alcoholism and what it means to be in recovery . i developed long time friendships that i know will help me to stay sober . i also loved how caring the staff where. I wasn't the easiest patient at first but with their love and support i was able to not only become a recovering alcoholic but i have become a whole new person . I would highly recommend going here if you or a family member is still struggling

This was my second tine in DFC outpatient treatment, the reason I chose DFC was their teaching, there, client, and the friendly environment. I have been to many treatment centers in my past when I knew in my heart I was serious about recovering from drugs and alcohol. There was no other place that I wanted to go other than Design For Change. They give group and individual counseling tailored for the individual which helped me tremendously. They help me find out what I want and how to go about getting it in the group setting they don’t allow disturbances. They make sure everyone is focused. An attentive, which makes it easy to learn. DFC, my wife says thank you for giving her her husband back.

The moment I arrived at Quest, I felt safe and assured. During the first 72 hours, I felt comfortable. I knew that this place was different and better than any other treatment center I've been to. Awesome nurses and mentors were so accommodating and encouraging. The therapist, my case worker and group facilitators were professional yet personable. I felt that all my personal needs, both physical and emotional, were met. I very much appreciate that most of the staff fought through the fire, of active addiction, then came back to rescue the rest of us. I will absolutely, recommend Quest 2 Recovery to my friends and even my family.

My sister has visited the Tarzana Treatment Center multiple times, each visit offering comprehensive support as it is a fully integrated healthcare organization. They provide a wide array of services, including detoxification, therapy, and aftercare support, all tailored to individual needs. On her last visit, she was truly motivated to change her life, and the center's holistic approach played a critical role in her recovery. Now, she's thriving and doing exceptionally well. I would rate the experience 10 out of 10 for their dedication and effective treatment services. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

It’s a good program. You need to be motivated. If you follow the rules and complete inpatient they can get you into one of their sober livings which is way better than the ones you pay for. They offer everything you need to be successful, MAT services, therapy, psychiatrists, nurses and meds. They’ll help you with anything you need, you just need a little patience.

Great place and it did work. Still sober from alcohol. I had to move to this place halfway through my treatment due to the Malibu fire that destroyed the awesome cliff side treatment center. I entered Cycles of Change thinking the only problem I had was with abusing drugs and alcohol. But really I had no idea how to live life sober until I started working with my counselor. Which was the next day. The staff are extremely hands on with every client. I was shocked at how hands on each staff member was with every client. They loved me when I didn't love myself. Cycles of Change showed me a new way of life, they introduced to me the 12 Steps of recovery through the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. I have never been a reader but I found myself not being able to put the book down. I honestly can't thank Cycles of Change enough for saving my life, and showing life is worth living without drugs and alcohol. Today I have 2 years clean and sober and my life is so amazing today. I never thought I could stay sober an hour better yet 1 year. Of course I have good days and bad days, but I have tools to deal with life today.

Well we put our self's in this situation that we are in, and yes it's a business, and I say Thank Goodness for this business, I like very much the people who work here, my counselor is great, the dosing people are great, I have a couple Favorites, but I'm Very Thankful for these Methadone Clinics, it got me off of Heroin, and with Methadone I dont have to worry about getting a drug that god knows what's in it, I know what's in the Methadone. I have been on this program for many years, that also is my fault, any time I want to get detoxed, I am able too, they dont force you to stay on it. But it has worked for.

I personally am very grateful for the staff at this clinic. As I am sure everyone can imagine they get all types of clients and some people are jerks. If you go in there with a good attitude and treat others the way you want to be treated you will have a excellent experience. The counsellors are great, if you want to talk and work through your issues they are there for you if you don't want to be bothered they understand that too. Some people go there to actually get help and some people are just there because they are out of money and don't want to be sick wich I have been in both situations myself so I get it. I read a comment complaining about the dose increases and I have never experienced any of what they are talking about. This is actually how it works, if you need an increase then you knock on your counsellors office door and ask for one, they ask you how you are doing and if you simply tell them my dose is not cutting it they will put in for a increase with the doctor. Within the next 2 days you will have it unless its the weekend then you may have to wait until Monday. I have never been given a hard time about an increase. As a matter of fact I was getting regular increases until I reached the dose that worked for me. They offer 2 different programs 1 is for maintenance and the other is to taper to quit. The choice is yours wich one you choose. When you go to get your dose it's usually very quick, you check in and they call you 5 minutes or less later. You are required to take a urinalysis monthly and when you first start. Nobody says anything if you are dirty but if you want to get take home doses you must be clean for 4 months I believe and then they will start you with 1 week at a time and you can work up to 2 weeks worth of take homes I believe. I have never had any problems with any of the employees there at all. I have seen a few attitudes here and there but who doesn't have days like that? Like I said it was never for no reason either and like I also said they get all types of clientele and some people are just rude a holes. I think the counsellors are great people, I do think they might have a little too much of a case load as in too many patients but I have been happy with the 2 different counsellor's that I have had. I personally prefer dosing to suboxone because I have a lot less cravings. People say you are just trading one addiction for another and that is true to an extent. But you are not going to get a bad dose here and overdose and possibly die. It's all up to you and what you want to do with your life whether you want maintenance or to taper off everything. When I was seeing a different doctor getting prescribed subutex I was getting 8-8mg pills a day prescribed to me. Now that doctor didn't care at all about me and it wasn't a secret. I definitely just traded drug dealers and that doctor cost me $2400 for my pills plus $200 for the script per month. I tapered myself down to 2 pills a day mainly because I couldn't afford to pay for my script. When I asked that doctor about getting off of everything he said that I had to stay on it forever. I didn't like the idea of having to rely on a medication just to feel normal and not get sick or have bad cravings. Every 12 step meeting I went to would say that if you are on medication then you are not sober and would make you feel like a piece of crap for taking it. So I decided to stop taking it and it didn't work of course. Then I had a different doctor explain to me that just because I take a medication it is not the same as getting high. He confirmed that you can't even get high from the medication and that people have to take different medications every day for all kinds of reasons so I shouldn't beat myself up for taking a medication that keeps me from getting dope and getting high. My point is that even if you end up taking a medication for the rest of your life don't beat yourself up over it and it's nobody else's business what medications you take so don't take crap from anyone about it. Any prescription is much safer than street drugs.

I came to a point in my life where I was done with drinking and figured I knew nothing about sobriety I could easily do 90 days to a year without Alcohol Yet I could not sustain it. I reached out to my son who had spent sometime on the business side of recovery and knew of all the recovery centers in So Cal. He highly recommended Valley Recovery Center for which I’m grateful and appreciative of.. It was a big step and I was ready to be Sober. It was a bit humbling for me but I was willing to do the work….Giving it all the percent I had I really believe I did my 30 days with a really great group of gentlemen in recovery as well which the counselors kept commenting on the chemistry we had. And being the best group they had in a long time!! The facility was top notch and I took full advantage of all the exercise equipment, weights, pool for swimming and the almost quarter mile circular driveway..They have a couple of steep hills on property as well..I lost 30lbs while I was there… I took the opportunity to get fit while becoming sober of mind, spirit and body…and decided to make fitness part of my sobriety journey!! Some of my recovery mates made comments like What’s up..I told them I was training for the fight of my life…The fight would be with sobriety when I left there…Funny how some of them started working out the same way! The counselors, instructors, therapist and Dr.’s were great..Tough at times but great..I always got the feeling while there that they were always rooting for me!! I’ve been sober almost 3 years..I haven’t been perfect and had 2 falls that lasted less than a week each..I was able to right myself immediately from the thing I learned the most at VCR…To build a network around you in case you fall and for me stick to a routine of taking care of yourself… The other thing that still sticks with me everyday was that day in recovery when I finally/truly learned the word shame ..I couldn’t even say the word…That was a real fight for me and took a couple of days to sink in but when it did and I came to understand it and admit it was the day that I no longer had that unknowing thing that gnawed at me and would get me all twisted at times and I would need to drink it away and reset my unconscious mind…. Anyways..Recovery is one step at a time and a great 1st step is wanting to be sober and the second great step would be toward Valley Recovery Center!!! (Btw-One of the best things about being there is having a cook on hand for all 3 meals…The food while there was the best) Also know if you choose this Sobering Journey that for me now..Everyday I wake up is the greatest day I’ll ever live..Best wishes to you!!

Bright Mission Recovery, located in Acton, California is a private drug rehab center that specializes in the treatment of addiction rehab.
I came into Bright Mission Recovery scared and unsure if I could really do this, but the staff made me feel safe from day one. Detox was tough, but having a therapist on site who actually listened and helped me work through my anxiety made all the difference. The chef made meals that felt home cooked and comforting, which might sound small, but when you’re trying to get clean it means a lot. What I appreciated most was how personal everything was. With only six beds, I never felt lost in the shuffle. The staff to client ratio meant I always had someone checking in on me, and there was support 24/7. I didn’t feel judged just cared for. Leaving, I felt healthier, clearer, and actually hopeful about the future. It wasn’t just about getting sober, it was about learning how to live again. I’ll always be grateful for my time at Bright Mission Recovery.

great environment. Lots of education classes- brain disease about a lot. Mental Health and medical services on site. length of stay varies for everyone- patient centered. Rustic cabins (old) but good services, Drug Medi-cal paid for my stay! Counselor had a masters degree and is a certified counselor (They all are!). Electronic records and use of ASAM makes for long intakes and sessions- but worth it. Helped me with sober living referral. Classes in Relapse Prevention, Trauma, Living Skills, Anger management, Women's Issues, Creative Expression, Aerobics, Mindfulness. Loved all of the women's program staff. You could tell they cared cause they stayed on us, made me learn to practice honesty and responsibility in my recovery!
