I’ve never personally been a client at Solstice Pacific, but someone very close to me went through their program, and I’ve had a front-row seat to the impact it’s had on her life. Before treatment, she was struggling—feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure how to move forward—but now she seems like a completely different person. What stood out to me most was how individualized and intentional the care felt; from everything she shared, it was clear the staff truly understood her beyond just a diagnosis, taking time to recognize her patterns, strengths, and the deeper reasons behind her challenges. She often described the work as difficult but meaningful—they held her accountable while also providing genuine compassion and support, which helped her stay engaged and actually grow. From the outside, the biggest change I’ve noticed is in how she relates to herself and others—she communicates more openly, sets healthier boundaries, and seems far more grounded. Watching that transformation has been incredibly meaningful, and from a loved one’s perspective, Solstice Pacific provides thoughtful, engaged care that truly makes a lasting difference.

Edit 1/30/26: I have nothing but gratitude for the staff at Solstice. They truly saved my life. I fought my treatment tooth and nail yet they never gave up on me. From residential through PHP & IOP I had a great psychiatrist and a few very patient and caring case managers who helped me rebuild my life after a catastrophic psychiatric injury. Thank you forever. Original review: I was referred to Pacific Solstice by Laguna Beach Inpatient BHU. I went through their 30-day residential treatment center in San Clemente and then did PHP/IOP in the Mission Viejo clinic for 2 months. This program saved my life. I arrived through their doors in a catatonic state with no hope for the future and graduated 3 months later with my depression/anxiety in remission thanks to a scholarship to the residential program graciously granted by the company’s board, Dr. Turner who was the first psychiatrist that didn’t slap on a diagnosis within 5 minutes of meeting me, TMS, a structured schedule to reintegrate me into the community, and a caring staff who didn’t give up on me. Positives: Being greeted in the Mission Viejo clinic every morning by the lovely Rachel, Yoga with Ashly, Qi Gong with Charmaine, my amazing case manager Lena who I’ve never seen without a smile on her face and who helped my partner and me immensely during family session, the program manager Les who genuinely cares for all of the patients, acupuncture at RTC by the amazing Dr. Manesh, and all the other staff who make Solstice what it is. Negatives: Groups are run by either contracted facilitators or employees of the company, not actual therapists. I personally did not find most of them very helpful. They gave us a giant handbook but it was hardly ever used or the same pages were read over and over. At San Clemente RTC, phone time was extremely limited which was hard for someone in my condition. In the Mission Viejo clinic they confiscate phones until lunch like we’re children which bothered me. The turnover is bad - in my 3-month treatment timeframe, all of the clinical staff and the dietician (who was probably tired of being forced to run groups all the time) left the company. Criticisms aside, I’m genuinely grateful for my transformative experience at this clinic and I hope they get the right clinical team in place (don’t overwork Lena!) so that they may serve as a beacon of hope for others.

The facilitator were excellent. Of course there are always things to complain about but overall it was a good experience. I lov Carmen the tech, Drew the tech. I liked 95% of the staff. I am deeply grateful for Bryan the CEO for giving me the opportunity to receive help for 26 days although there was a mistake with my insurance . They could have thrown me out but they didn’t.Believe me I tried to get out but they would not let me leave. They knew I wasn’t ready. I am also grateful for Brian the person that calls me almost every week. Without him and the program I don’t I ever would have been able to throw in the towel. He listened to me cry every week after I was released. After release I found it had to stay clean. Not because of the program, because I did not want to do what I was told. I hung on to him until I was ready. I am clean today. I am deeply grateful for all of the love and support I received. Some of us need that love and support from others to get clean and stay clean. I really think Brian wrote me off he got tired of me. I just want him to know I am clean.

Want to say that even with the building repairs, the staff here go above and beyond to help their patients. I had a difficult moment in my life and needed dire help and the mental health department really came throughly, especially Dr La Tourette. I know things are crazy right now and there are probably so many patients to deal with, but when people are hurting, you guys do your utmost to care in the best way you can.

In those 8 years I have never waited longer than 30 minutes to be seen , and those were far n few in between. I mainly see him for recovery but he makes sure Im ok in every way. I have seen Dr. Adams for years. He has helped me through a large range of things. He is skilled at all. He’s helped me the most though with my PTSD. Dr. Adams is a God send. God used Dr. Adams to bring me one of the greatest gifts, breaking free from the bond I had with my oppressor. I cannot be more thankful. My experience at the lighthouse was life-changing Tiffany she's the best she definitely is one tough act to follow even when all the clients were mad about the phone she maintained her ground taught us fairness within the staff and within the clients she inspired me. To keep being myself even when the struggle hits we really related on the whole chosen topic. Lighthouse is the best recovery center I've been too it really saved my life. The staff was so loving and supportive throughout my whole stay. I am living proof that their recovery program works. My time here has been an experience I’ll never forget, and I’m incredibly grateful for the people who made it what it was. The staff were absolutely amazing. I especially want to recognize Tom, who went above and beyond and had a real impact on my experience here. I also want to give a huge thank you to Chuck, Adam, Cruz, Kolby, and Chef for everything they do every day. Each of them brought something different to the table, and I genuinely appreciate the care, patience, and support they showed me. Bobby has done an incredible job building and leading the coaching staff. You can tell that the people here genuinely care about the individuals they work with. They don’t just make you feel like another person going through a program. they make you feel seen, heard, valued, and respected. This place challenged me, helped me grow, and gave me memories and relationships that I’ll carry with me long after leaving. I’m leaving with a deeper appreciation for myself, for the people around me, and for the importance of allowing others to be part of your journey. I arrived at Opus seeking treatment primarily for my addiction to Kratom and Alcohol, and was also equally hoping to find solutions for my anxiety and depression. What I received in 30 days “far” exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived I was met with warmth, kindness, and an implied sense of understanding I hadn’t expected. Although a little apprehensive initially, I felt I had arrived at the right place. Having felt for so long that no one could possibly understand me or the complexities I had been dealing with, I was somewhat taken back by how quickly I’d be relieved of that burden and begin to build trust in the members of the staff. Speaking of which, each member of the staff always made me feel welcome, cared for, and that they were motivated to make my stay as comfortable and productive as possible. Their insights and expertise they would share at the group sessions (and when I’d speak to them individually) always left me better than when I arrived. I will forever be grateful for the Opus team. I believe not only have they changed my life for the better but set me on an entirely new trajectory to make the most of my future. Some of the staff left an especially big impression impression on my heart, for various reasons(in no particular order), including Cheryl, Manny, Dr. David, Dr. S, Dr. Tenney, Trayce, Andrew, Tommy, Gabe, Todd, Adrian, “Chef,” Candace, Maribel, Shugar, and others. I recently found out that a family member was struggling with addiction. I was so lost and confused on where to start. Thankfully Conor at Pacific Sands was one of my first calls. He made me feel heard and understood exactly what I was going through. He gave me really great advice and knowledge on addiction. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go with them because of insurance reasons but, he was very helpful, attentive and reassuring. If pacific sands is anything like Conor than I know anyone who comes here will be in great hands.

This review is long over due, this was not my first time in recovery, but I can tell you this time was my hardest come down. The ocean view was amazing. The staff was great they did all they can to comfort me during this difficult time. Case managers and program directors took time to listen to me, and the nursing staff oh man not only did they take care of me medically, they were also a sight to see which made it all worthwhile every time I had to go back into that medical office. These nurses were absolutely beautiful, Lisa, Annalisa, and Salina! I thank everyone at Laguna View Detox.

The facility was clean. Staff always looking out for the client. Farah and Jason are top notch facilitators. The rest of the stall are very helpful in getting anything done that needs to be done. Doctor appointments and paperwork. Van pick and delivery was sort of a challenge for me only because there are two facilities they pick up for. Clients need to take their trash out out of the vans as respect for the drivers. Good at getting to and from destinations. Overall the facility is perfect for those that are chasing recovery.

Withdrawals suck, but Oceanfront provided me with the correct medications to help me feel as comfortable as possible while I ease in. Additionally their staff is all well trained and knowledgeable. Anchored Tides is amazing; there is truly no place like it. There are also very few options in general for women’s programs, and being surrounded by all women made my experience deeper and brighter. The community there is so rich. Staff really care, and they consistently go above and beyond for you. Even after I completed treatment, I still received check-in messages from Markie who made sure I was doing well post-treatment. During treatment, my insurance abruptly cut me off with no warning and no step down option. Anchored Tides generously provided me with two weeks of scholarship so that I could transition out of their program rather than be cut off the way my insurance planned. I really hope I never require treatment again, but if I do, I would go straight back to Anchored Tides!

They were kind, patient, compassionate, and always willing to help. I never felt like I was just another patient. I felt like the people there truly wanted to see me succeed. The houses were also beautiful, comfortable, clean, and very well taken care of. Having a peaceful and welcoming place to live made such a difference while I was working on myself and my recovery. Anchored Tides gave me the support, structure, and encouragement I needed during a really important time in my life. I came there needing help, and I can genuinely say that I received it. I’m incredibly grateful for the staff and for my experience there. I would absolutely recommend Anchored Tides to any woman who is ready for help and looking for a place where she will be treated with kindness, dignity, and compassion.
