About OC Revive Alcohol & Drug Rehab Orange County

OC Revive is a mental health and substance use rehab facility in Lake Forest, California. They can handle all types of drug and alcohol addiction as well as the mental health issues that may be underlying factors.
They offer partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, evening intensive outpatient, and sober living housing for adults.

Their partial hospitalization program is for those who need a higher level of structure and care but are comfortable living offsite.

Their intensive outpatient program is for you if you’ve already finished a detox or inpatient program or don’t need that level of care. Here, you’ll develop coping skills and get to use them in your daily life.
They also have a special evening version of this program. It runs outside of standard business hours. This is for you if you need to continue to work or attend school during the day. Thanks to this program, you don’t have to choose between getting treatment and your responsibilities.

OC Revive also offers pet friendly sober housing. If you want to continue the work you made in treatment and need a place to live that supports your newfound sobriety, a sober home can help. I like that with OC Revive, you can bring your pet with you.

They are in-network with Aetna, Anthem, Tricare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and work with many other insurance providers.

I came to OC revive from Oklahoma broken and hopeless. I wish I could find the words to describe how much this program has changed my life how much they care about their clients and not just look at them as another payday. I completed the substance abuse program and because of the kind of care and attention I received I decided to also do the mental health program as well. As a new graduate I've got my life back together I'm sober and I'm thriving thanks to the help of OC revive. Everyone there Dan, Jacob, Becca, Shawna, Keith, Chris w., Chris e., Robert, Patrick, Jamie, Jenna, Anthony and so many more Played a role in me getting my life back and I'm forever grateful. If you need help do not pass OC revive up. I am so grateful for OC Revive. The staff here is amazing! I have enjoyed all of the groups. The facilitators run groups that are engaging and informative. I have learned so much about my own recovery since I have been a client here. Rebecca has been such a helpful staff member she is one of the first people I met. Anytime I need a way to get to my 12 step meetings or important errands she provides support super quickly and I always feel like she cares. More than once when I was struggling that day she was somebody I could check in with and feel like I was understood. Cassie is one of the best facilitators there. I enjoy all of her groups. They get super deep into my mental health factors that I need to work on. I have learned invaluable tools in her groups to manage my emotions. My case manager Cullen has been so receptive of any of my concerns and has resolved any request I’ve had very thoroughly. I feel like he really cares about me as a person and a client. Katie is another facilitator who has made me feel like I’m worth wanting to have a good life. She is encouraging and also makes me feel like I’m a helpful contributor to the groups. There is so much more I could say about the staff here. I would recommend OC Revive to anybody seeking help and understanding and or stabilization in their substance use or their mental health recovery journey.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Clients receiving treatment at an outpatient rehab typically do not require hospitalization or intensive supervision and support. Outpatient addiction counseling and recovery education are often offered during the morning, evening, night, and weekend, allowing clients to tailor treatment to their own schedule. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs are the most time-intensive and are designed for clients who are at an increased relapse risk and/or who need more robust therapeutic support.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Sober living homes in California offers an intermediate sober environment that has less structure than inpatient rehab but more than typical home environments. This makes it a good option for those who have concerns about transitioning back to the "real world" after treatment. Residents can typically live at the halfway house as long as they want, if they are willing to follow house rules. These may include a curfew, chores, and maintaining a job.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
Intervention services helps family or friends of addicts stage an intervention, which is a meeting in which loved ones share their concerns and attempt to get an addict into treatment. Professional intervention specialists can help loved ones organize, gather, and communicate with an addict. They can guide intervention participants in describing the damage the addict's behavior is causing and that outside help is necessary to address the addiction. The ideal outcome of an intervention is for the addict to go to rehab and get the help they need
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
Commonly known as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is an intensive form of outpatient treatment where clients meet during the day and return home in the evening. PHP treatment doesn't require 24-hour care and often serves as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or a step-down after a residential program. With PHP treatment, you can receive daily support for 6 to 8 hours which includes evidence-based therapies and medication management. The cost of PHP treatment typically varies but averages 90 days.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
When addicted, quitting your drug of choice suddenly can be dangerous. That's why experts agree a medically assisted detox is the safest way to remove addictive substances from the body. Usually done in an inpatient setting, your vitals signs and overall well being are consistently monitored and rechecked in order to keep you safe and ensure the detox is successful.

Treatments

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change (rather than wait for them to come to conclusions themselves). Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.

The goal of couples therapy in California is to strengthen the couple's relationship. The therapist may take one or more approaches to counseling which may include the Gottman method, emotionally focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic couple's therapy.

EMDR is a therapeutic modality originally developed to help process trauma. In an EMDR session, a patient is prompted to undergo eye movements that mimic those of REM sleep. This is accomplished by watching a therapist's finger move back and forth across, or following a bar of light. The goal is repetitive sets of eye movements that help the brain reprocess memory, which can significantly reduce the intensity of remembered traumatic incidents. Associated memories can heal simultaneously, leaving patients significantly calmer, more stable, and more emotionally relaxed.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

While in rehab treatment, you may work on developing various life skills to help you in long term recovery. These may include resilience, interpersonal skills, and self awareness. The focus will be on developing healthy habits for self care and relationships so you have the skills you need to manage day to day life.

Substances can prevent the absorption of nutrients and cause damage to your body's systems. Nutrition therapy in California addresses the deficiencies in vitamins and minerals that are caused by substance abuse.

Creativity is inherently healing, and can help those in recovery express thoughts or feelings they might not otherwise be able to. Creative arts therapy can include music, poetry/writing, painting, sculpting, dance, theater, sandplay, and more. Unlike traditional art, the final product matters far less than the experience of creation and expression itself.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

The goal of nicotine replacement therapy in California is to mitigate the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal. It cuts down on your cravings by supplying a small dose of nicotine without exposing your body to the toxins of cigarette smoke.

WARNING............BEWARE!...if you stay one night here you will be charged one full months rent: $1,700. NO REFUNDS given, No Partial REFUNDS, No Pro-RATE refunds...NOTHING. MONEY taken at signing of contract. DO NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT. They prey on mental health patients to sign contract giving full months housing and DO NOT REFUND if you have to leave before one month. You can leave at any time but you lose your $1,700. HOUSING Cost is gladly taken, even if you are not living there and no REFUNDS allowed. This is a great profit business RACKET for them.......you have been WARNED. Be sure you really want to go to this place or say good bye to $1,700. My daughter found out the group therapy was not what she expected and wanted to leave after ONE NIGHT........sorry NO REFUNDS.....You stick it out for ONE MONTH or LOSE ALL OF YOUR HOUSING MONEY. Mental Health and DRUG and ALCOHOL addicts are all mixed in the SAME GROUP. If you want treatment for mental health but not DRUG/ALCOHOL ADDICTION than this is not the place for you. You have been WARNED.

This facility is top notch. Therapists really take a personal interest in the client's well-being. Technical staff and management, to include nursing, clinical and transportation are excellent. I want to thank Dan, Robert, Becca, Bruce, Ashley, Chrisx2, Jacob, Poli, Andy, Shelby and Kat. Last but not least JD who got me here. During my stay here I stayed at one of the sober living housing. It was very clean, in a nice neighborhood and comfortable to live in with other women in recovery, sharing the same goals in sobriety. All concerns were immediately addressed. Transportation to and from therapy and personal needs ran like clockwork. If you are a fellow veteran, or not, this place will help you. I'm very selective, as many of you are, and I highly recommend OCR.
