It was my first time going into treatment and I was scared to fly to California. I'm happy I made the decision to trust Enlight with my safety and wellbeing. These people really know how to change lives, speaking from experience. I was battling with alcohol, drugs and mental health issues that I was never able to address. I was scared that my job was going to penalize me but the team worked well with my employer so that I can really take my time and focus on my recovery. This was the best decision I have ever made. As I sit here, dead of winter in Upstate New York. I appreciate the time I spent at Enlight Treatment center. This is usually the time I would look for something to lift my mood. Depression gets the best of me and I spiral. I was able to really open up there. I was able to unload and place a lot of my unresolved feelings aside. They really have wonderful people there. If you're serious about getting rid of whatever it is you need to get rid of.. I would absolutely go! The food wasn't too bad either😘

My experience at the Meadowglade was life changing in both a transformative and renewing way. I feel like I became myself again but also met a new version of myself- one that is more confident, grounded and so loveable. I have really come into my own thanks to the guidance of my therapist Clara, the executive director Narine, and Alyssa the new Clinical Director ( who is incredible at her new role btw). From facility management and to peers, everyone I have met has been integral in my healing. The surf and equine therapy were so transformative as well. I both healed, had fun, and was encouraged to become a healthier version of myself. I learned so many tools that set me on the right path and I will used forever. I can say with complete certainty that The Meadowglade changed my life. I came in with an overwhelming fear following traumatic events and engaging in treatment programs that were far less than ideal. However, I experienced a wave of relief once I found that this is a place of complete safety. One of the best things about The Meadowglade is that every member of the treatment team comes in with a unique approach and expertise, ranging from EMDR, CBT, DBT, IFS, eating disorders, exposures, somatic therapy, and being tall. Because of this, there was never a sense of boredom or uselessness in the care I received. I share special applause and shoutouts to my personal therapists, Jasmine and Matthew, for learning about and engaging in my specific needs. They indulged in my chaotic side while also helping me learn social skills including when it is and isn’t appropriate to be completely out of pocket. The treatment team as a whole fights for what you need. There is constant communication between everyone, and with case management they truly go above and beyond. The encouragement, accountability, investment, and individuality this treatment center brings to the table is unmatched. If you have been discouraged by past treatment experiences as I was, or need a place to start your treatment journey, The Meadowglade offers incredible care exclusive to anything else.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at the Meadowglade Residential Program. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for, supported, and understood in a way I’ve never experienced at any other treatment center. Tiffany, the program manager, is truly exceptional. Her compassion, leadership, and dedication to every single client create a foundation of trust and safety that makes healing possible. She goes above and beyond, and it shows in every aspect of the program. The psych techs here are the heart and soul of this place. They don’t just do their jobs—they genuinely care. Their kindness, patience, and constant support create an environment where you feel seen, heard, and valued every single day. I especially want to give a heartfelt shoutout to Hunter, Ni, Kajsa, Shafali, and Stephanie—both the weekday and night staff. They are absolutely incredible. If it weren’t for them, my experience would not have been the same. They are truly the foundation of this program and play such a huge role in making it a safe, healing, and supportive space. The therapists and the group sessions are also phenomenal. Every group feels intentional and meaningful, and they truly help you move forward in your healing journey. You can tell that the entire team is deeply invested in each client’s growth and recovery. I’ve been to multiple treatment centers before, and none of them even come close to the level of care, compassion, and effectiveness that Meadowglade provides. One of the best rehabs available. Everyone was very personable, respectful, kind, and patient. Just over 365 days sober thanks to Rise. Allison saved me, and I cannot thank her enough. If you’re in deep and hopeless, take her word, do what she recommends, let her guide the process. She is a godsend. Trust her. Ron, Sharie, Dr. Mark, Nam, Cat, Dr. Raskin (who is very kind, don’t let other reviews fool you) and everyone else, thank you as well. My daughter has her dad back thanks to y'all. Also special shout out to Cesar for our trip out to West Hollywood to check out sober livings. Fun adventure and one of the easiest people to talk to one on one. Go to Rise. I’m telling you now if you have the opportunity, do not pass it up.

The first phone call i had was an intake with Allison. She is the one who convinced me to come to Rise. She is amazing. She is there from the beginning to the end if you need anything. The first person I met at rise was Nam. He is the man he’s there for you all the time he works 20 hours a day. The man is amazing. Next, I met Zac the nurse he’s such a cool dude and listens to you and takes whatever concerns you have and it gets it fixed for you. As far as nurses Daisy, David and Nina were great. If you have real medical issues, I would not go there Dr.Raskin is a first class clown. The first time I met him, he spoke to me in the kitchen for 30 seconds and ran away. The next time I saw him was on Zoom for about 60 seconds and he got off. I had a lot of medical issues and he was not there for me. I was very disappointed in that. I refuse to see him after that that’s one of the few bad things about Rise is the doctor. If he was my employee he’d be fired. I complained about him a lot. The counselor Michael, Josh And Beth were great they listen to you and make you feel like they are helping you out. A special shout out to Cat My hippie dippy friend she is the one who does yoga and meditation. I never did that in my life before I’m an older man and she was amazing. I’m from the East Coast. The food was not that great. I was disappointed in that they have a private chef. James was the best chef That’s the only thing I could say about the food. Very disappointing. That being said, I would definitely go to Rise. They save my marriage and they save my life. Thank you to the team if I left anybody out, I’m sorry.

I just discharged from this program a couple days ago. To anyone thinking or considering coming here, let this be your confirmation to start packing TODAY. This program has literally changed my life in more ways than just becoming sober. I was on heroin and meth before I admitted into detox and it's been 73 days now and the transformation is something I thought wasnt even possible for me. If you're from out of state and worried about starting over, don't be. They got you. But it starts with you deciding to make a change, and having an open mind to give them the chance to help. After your 28days, They have a badass PHP, IOP program, the facilitators are mostly recovering addicts themselves or educated drug counselors or both. These people are so freaking awesome and they genuinely care and you'll notice it immediately. I seriously can't stress enough to anyone considering coming here, if you're uncertain or hesitant about making the call...which I feel like is something every addict goes through beforehand, DO NOT LET ANYTHING OR ANYONE STOP YOU FROM THIS OPPORTUNITY. You can always go home if you want to but you can't always experience recovery like this. Shoutouts (sorry if I misspelled anyone); Steven,Sabrina, Fran, Matt, Graham, Blake, Marlene, Elijah, Shawn, Jeff, Natalie. From the very first call I made James and the rest of the team at Wish Recovery did everything they could to make me feel welcome, safe, respected, and cared for. I had reached out to Wish after being assaulted by a staff member at another program ( not affiliated with Wish) within 20 minutes of my call James had sent a uber to pick me up. Then between James and Fran they made sure my medications and the rest of my property were picked up. I was never made to feel like I was an inconvenience and my concerns were addressed without hesitation. All of the documentation needed to support my leave from work was completed promptly and sent to the necessary departments. The therapists are amazing and the center is beautiful, clean, and staffed with courteous professionals. My house manager Matt is caring and respectful. The sober living house is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and clean. I have truly felt welcome from the very beginning.

I'm currently ending my treatment at Sanctuary. I going to start off with that I have been in treatment before. I love Sanctuary Treatment Center. I never felt like I was a body shuffled in and out the door just for the money. They actually care. The staff, therapists, groups are excellent. My needs were met promptly. Golden Road is a great place for you or your loved one to get well. Compared to many treatment options, Golden Road is small and intimate and allows for time, space attention and care to support your sobriety. Staff is supportive, many have first hand experience of addiction, and there are plenty of opportunities to get in nature. Great care is taken to include family in treatment with weekly opportunities to meet for pyschoeducstional sessions. Food is top notch. As a past client, I liked it here. Not just cause of the house, but I felt safe there. After a while it felt more like home than my real house so I started calling it home. The staff were helpful and supportive. They didn't send me off to inpatient like other places would have when I was struggling. I was 17 when I went to hillcrest treatment facility and heavily addicted to substances. As soon as I stepped inside I was welcome in with open arms. It was the best time of my life and I stayed sober ever since then and I am 20 now, I bought my own car and I will be moving out into my own apartment soon. The caregivers and therapists and everyone involved was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I wasn’t able to keep in contact with them due to rules but I think about the caregivers, therapists and my experience that I had there every single day, it was so touching that every day I strive to do better because I think about all the people that helped me at hillcrest, eventually if possible I would even like to get a job there to help kids like I was helped. It was the most amazing heart warming experience I’ve had in my entire life and I would recommend this place a million times to anyone. If anyone from hillcrest that remembers me sees this, thank you for changing my life I truly wouldn’t be in the position I’m in if I never met all of you.

Summit is a magical place and has changed my life. I’ve had several experiences with treatment centers and there is just nothing as special as Summit. Each staff member is unique, authentic and brings their own warmth, compassion and wisdom. I have learned so much about myself, my SUD and have gained so many tools to help me achieve abstinence. Summit truly saved my life. I showed up there in rough shape and even had to go to the ER. They still welcomed me in and made me feel comfortable right off the bat. I always felt well cared for and the staff is truly top tier. The groups were engaging and the intensive therapy was great. I was even to do family therapy while there, that helped me greatly and allowed me to start rebuilding trust with loved ones. I am so grateful for Summit and the wonderful people I met, and the experience I had. Hopefully I never have to attend again, but I would have no hesitance in returning to their program.

I went to Evolve Ojai back in February of this year. I had never been in a residential treatment center and I was really nervous, however I did go voluntarily. My experience wasn’t terrible. There were pros and cons for sure, these were: Pros: Really good food Outings were fun If you were level 3 and above, you could go on off site visitations with your family Cons: Leveled me down on my last week while I had been withdrawing from two meds (Abilify and Zoloft) Made me sit through an intense PTSD flashback and didn’t let me do anything to distract myself (it was to practice a skill, but i really needed help and i felt very distressed) Tried to punish me and make me stay an extra week for feeling suicidal after leveling me down Didn’t really do much when another kid was making me feel uncomfortable by making me feel overstimulated But it was not a very bad experience. I’ve been to two residential treatment centers (both evolve) and this one was definitely the best one I’ve been to.

Before I begin writing this review, I would like to let whoever is reading this know that you are already taking the necessary steps to create a better way of life and healthier way of thinking. I needed help in my life and Elevation Behavioral Health provided the care and tools I was in search for. Starting from the admissions process until my final day, the Elevation staff went above and beyond. Stephanie, was in charge of my admissions, which she made seamless. Stephanie responded to all my emails and phone calls in a timely fashion and with great care. At the Calabasas house, I had the privilege to have Michele as my therapist. I owe her my life with how attentive and caring she was for me. Michele was compassionate, funny, and direct - something I needed. I could go on and on about how great of a therapist she was for me, but I do not know if there would be enough characters for me to write a review. Thank you Michele. The coaches and chefs, all of whom were therapists within their own right, were fantastic. In a place where you already feeling vulnerable they made it feel like home. Friendly, compassionate, and wonderful human beings overall is not enough to say about them. (Again, worried about the character limit here.) I want to thank them all and would give them all a gold stars if I could. If you do end up in the Calabasas house, I have left a letter for you, the client, to read, from one friend to another. Absolutely love Profound, they took me in for the 2nd time with no judgment or hesitation. My 12 year old son stayed at Beachside for two months in the spring and we brought home a changed child. During the week, he learned to surf, completed his school curriculum so that he could graduate from his regular education elementary school, and took hikes at beautiful locations around Malibu. He loved the food, and participated in group and music therapy as well as individual counseling. We spoke on the phone most nights and had great weekend visits. My son is now a thriving 7th grader, enjoying school and close relationships with his friends. I would encourage anyone struggling to give your child the gift of this healing environment.

I recently completed a month’s stay at The Pointe and am writing this review so that others dealing with pain and/or substance dependence consider this program. This is an exceptional program for many reasons— the sheer beauty and tranquility of its location overlooking the ocean, the exceptionally caring and highly skilled non-medical and medical staff, the content of the program itself and its application of cutting edge science in the treatment of both pain and addiction, and the remarkably healthy and delicious food prepared with care and attention to individual dietary needs. I highly recommend this program. It meets one where they are and helps one navigate through a difficult time, providing resources, skills, and self-knowledge to continue on one’s own.

This place changed and SAVED my life. It gave me a safe space to heal and provided trustworthy caregivers, doctors and therapists to give me guidance into sobriety and emotional healing. I am 4 months and 24 days clean from drugs and alcohol and I would recommend The Pointe to everyone and anyone. Your loved one or yourself will be taken care of here and it’s so worth it. I have been to other treatment centers in my first bout of trying to get sober in 2020 and The Pointe goes above and beyond. I’m at a completely different mindset and although getting sober is hard work, I truly think The Pointe not only is a beautiful and sacred place to get sober in but every single person went above and beyond to care about me and teach me so many tools to have the open and sober mindset I have now. I am SO incredibly grateful for every person at the Pointe and the three months I spent there. My life is now in a place I didn’t even know was possible. I am so thankful for Vogue recovery. I have been to several rehab centers that do not even compare to the wonderful experience, help, and education I have received. The techs Lydia, Blanca, Annie, Jessica, Victor, and Dante are by far the most understanding, compassionate, helpful people I have ever met. The nurses Matt, Jasmine, Emanuel, Joseph, Warren, Tana, and Kimmie also were caring and compassionate to me. And, thank you Kayla for being there for me through my toughest time and getting me out here to better myself. I owe Vogue my life and am so very grateful for my recovery here!!!

This place helped me get off Xanax . I was on it for 11 years. I was able to do a 32 day taper using kolonopin here . It really wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gonna be , not easy but not as bad an experience as I had heard about. It kind of feels like a hotel and the experience feels like school , the staff is very nice and accommodating here .
