Five stars is not enough for Phoenix Rising! They should have ten stars! I punched and screamed to go inpatient. I was only going to stay for detox which is 7-8 days. And the love and compassion all there employees have I decided to stay an extra 3 weeks. There group sessions are amazing. Individual sessions are awesome! By the end of my treatment I didn t want to leave. I felt at home with everyone. I grew as a person. We became a family. Phoenix makes you feel like no matter what your important! They take the time to care.

When I came here I was scared, nervous, and uncomfortable as I came all the way from Detroit. TLC has been nothing but great for me. I’ve been to multiple different rehabs and outpatient centers, but this has by far been a life changing experience for me. Without Michael’s House, and Michael’s House Transitional Living Center I would probably be dead by now. The staff is truly compassionate and knows exactly what it’s like to be in the grasp of addiction. The care they provide is unmatched and truly magical. Andrew the coordinator is very active with all the patients and plans amazing trips for all to in treatment to enjoy. He’s very important to the overall morale to the people there. He is always planning great hikes and activities for all do. It’s very nice to have an activity to do and get all out of the center for some great fun!! A unique experience. I was there for almost 3 months and i highly disagree with being in a coed atmosphere not being able to talk to the opposite sex. Not realistic, not real life. Other then that i met some great people. I highly advise going to Daisy Lane which was a better experience than living on the campus.

Great place to address addiction and mental health. Most recently we went on a spiritual hike in Indian Canyon that was fantastic. The photo is from the top of the trail. The people here are caring and knowledgeable. Your treated with dignity. I came here straight from inpatient treatment at ABC. Definitely has had a great impact on my recovery. My time at SolutionPoint has been amazing. The counselors and staff members are incredibly kind and are truly invested in helping individuals get sober and stay sober. The facility is immaculate and each room has a great bed and wall mounted flat screen tv. I went to Kiloby for 6 months. the work they do at the center is very rewarding and changed my life. With that being said, it is a smaller treatment center with a small number of staff which results in a disorganized feeling to the program and a LOT of repeat groups which got very boring. Plus a lot of time is spent sitting around doing 'self support' because they don't have enough staff to run groups and do one on one sessions at the same time. And don't be fooled when you hear them say this is not a 12 step program; 12 step meetings are MANDATORY. and one last thing: I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SOBER LIVING... unless you like sleeping in very cheap bunk beds and tight quarters with upwards of 8-9 people at a time. I am not saying I don't think this is a good program, because it is and I got a lot out of it but I think there is a lot of room for improvement from Kiloby. Give it a try if you want to try something different that really gets to the core of your issues.Update, 5 years later: After re-reading my review, and the reviews of others who have left a rating, I truly think The Kiloby Center deserves at least a 4-4.5 Star rating. On reflection, the work I did here changed my life more than any of the other programs I've been to. The comments I made about the sober living seem so trivial now.. I can honestly say, for a smaller treatment center, Kiloby did their best and still managed to make a bigger impact on my life than any other 'rehab'/program. I can't say thank you enough. this place gave me an entirely new point of view.

A wonderful place where my friend was receiving treatment. Today, we received disheartening news about the county fabricating an excuse for a delayed document to shut them down. It sounds shady, like county officials taking bribes again and shut this place down because they weren't getting paid under the table.
