I was in Michael's house back in 2015 and did a month there and they have a good staff , And I also ate good there, they have real good food, and the hikes were nice and then the trip to Laguna Beach on the last weekend that was awesome can't believe it's already been 10 years since then, I recommend this place It's a good facility 👍

I just completed this outpatient program and I genuinely recommend. The staff, the groups, and the support made a huge impact on me. I don’t have words to explain how grateful I am about the tools both Derick and Vanessa had taught. And all the treatment centers I’ve been to They have been the best counselors and the most inspiring People to .I really, really liked my experience here—it helped me understand myself, stay accountable, and build real tools for staying sober. I can’t tell you how wonderful HVRC is. The nursing staff, counselors and recovering addicts and alcoholics are loving and compassionate. I learned so much about my addiction and was given the tools to use upon discharge. If you have the chance, take the Pain class given by Shari. It’s about emotional pain. You will not regret it.

I love this place. Miss Jackie and Gwen alone make this place wonderful. Don't let where its at fool u. I resented this first time I went here. After a week realized this is exactly where I need to be. Detox is awesome they take care of there peps. The program there is amazing as well. McCarty House really saved my life. The treatment and support was above and beyond anything I could’ve imagine. They were diligent about helping me during my detox and recovery. The staff was super attentive and supportive.

I went to SBT a little over two years ago now on march 7th 2023, I was beat down and close to giving up due to my alcoholism and drug addiction. I had been through treatment twice before and didn’t think anything was going to change but I was willing to try. I was placed in a nice house with very knowledgeable and relatable staff members that helped guide me in my early days of detoxification. They kept me hopeful for a better life even though I felt like mine was over. The program they run is smooth and effective, they kept a close eye on me and made sure my needs were met. I can’t say enough good things about the program, my uncle passed away while I was in detox and on black out protocol and they still let me make a phone call to my family because they knew how much it would mean to me. Also had it not been for a counselor named Rachael, I’m not sure I would be sober to this day. She helped me navigate the best course of action to remain in sobriety by showing me all the resources and places I could go for after care both in my home state of WV and other options closer to their program as well. Had I not been made aware of the fact that I could go to boardwalk recovery after SBT I don’t think I would have made it as far as I have now. Thank you so much for helping me get my life back, you all are amazing people!

Best place ever. Couldn’t get sober on my own and tried every place locally and I just wasn’t ready. Decided to make the trip across country and it was the best decision of my life. Coming up on 4 years sober thanks to them. Made a lot of good friends also and the staff is great.

Just celebrated 8 years sobriety! This place saved my life. They are very well organized and understand treatment and recovery. I wasn't necessarily very open-minded in the beginning but I'm so glad I didn't quit and leave not everybody stays sober and I understand that and this place doesn't guarantee anything however it is a beginning and for me it was pivotal. Every day is a new day to embrace change. I learned that from MFI. I am forever grateful! Stay connected to the people in recovery and more importantly be available and responsible for people that need the help and you can keep your recovery. Miss Dove is a great counselor ... Staff is professional, experienced and well skilled! Saved my life!!!

Pros: Caring Staff, Balanced Groups, Decent Food as far as rehabs go. Visits are allowed on weekends after 7 days. Cons: Occasionally some clients that need special mental needs met slip in the cracks and it is difficult to replace them where they need to be. It seems like corporate has the budget in too high of a chokehold, I can't imagine 50+ men at a rehab do not facilitate a higher budget than what is currently allocated. Clients shouldn't be able to feel this. If you are not keen on a lot of men around you, consider other options with smaller populations. If you are heading here without a choice, talk to your counselor about any accommodations. If you are looking to get sober, this is a place that runs a dog through the facility and tries to take measures to better facilitate it to those that want to make a serious change for their lives. If you have derailed your life and hit rock bottom, got felonies, or you just got out of prison and have conditions, this is definitely a good spot to put your life back on track. If you are going to rehab for the right reasons, you will not have an issue with 90% of the staff. Most treatment options felt like just like they were farming us for the money, this was NOT one of those facilities. Even if you don't know where you are, give this a shot. I'm glad I did!

I was here for treatment for 8 months and I had an addiction to fentanyl and bipolar disorders . Another rehab didn’t want to keep me because of my kidney failure due to drug use and Angelika welcomed me with open arms !! Beautiful spirited woman !! She goes above and beyond for her clients and treat you like family !! This rehab is the only reason I got sober ! They let you go at your own pace and won’t be quick to kick you out !! Nice food , nice outtings !! She takes very good care of us !! Don’t think twice about coming it doesn’t feel like a facility or hospital and you get to keep your phone !! Nice bedrooms , big beds , your own bathroom and my favorite No ROOM Mates ! And btw Chris the Manager is awesome!!! The only people that had problems with him were the ones that weren’t serious about the sobriety!! He was one of my favorites !

This place is truly a house of miracles. I know this because I worked there for a year as a counselor. They truly do care about people and are very determined to give them hope for a better future. This is a place that you can find purpose for your life and get a fresh start. If you want a place to get away from your addiction and find true peace and tranquility with animal freinds and good people then this is the place for you.

Rancho Milagro helped me with my journey to being a drug free addict. Some staff are very spiritual and if you choose they will guide you spiritually. Brandon, Michelle very spiritual. The ones that aren't still respect your higher power. No judging. Some of them can relate to us the addicts. I recommend this place to heal your addiction and your soul. All the seligible. respectful. Just go in there they help you with work and disability compensation if you are elgible.

Judee is a life saver! She was so helpful and knowledgeable! She got my son approved for outpatient and in patient treatment within days! She was genuine and cared about our son’s safety, health and empathized with us as parents going through this for the first time! She never gave up and gave us so many options to help him every step of the way! Everyone at IOP and the Ranch were welcoming and made a huge difference and impact in my son’s life. I can’t thank this community enough for saving my son’s life! We will visit the ranch soon to thank everyone in person!

Liberty House was an absolutely amazing experience for me, unfortunately I only stayed through the detox period but I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to stay the 30 days or more. The staff is amazing, caring, and extremely helpful. I went in nervous and scared but they made me feel at home. A great experience and I will forever be grateful to staff at the Liberty House !
