Paul Gillispie (Whitmore) Paul Gillispie 1 month ago Michael’s House changed my life in matter of weeks. I did things that I never have thought I could and hearing from family members as much of a glow they see within me. I know at times I struggled tremendously with doubting myself but knowing the strong support system I had with the team members kept me afloat. Striving to do better and not giving up was something I look forward to everyday that I experienced with Micheal’s House. They gave me the push I have been needing my whole life and I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to be apart of there program as I continue onto my journey of sobriety. I want to give a special thank you to Mark for the long talks and walks that help boost my self worth and confidence, Ms. Candace for all of the wisdom and advice and guidance to keep me going, Ms. Dee for listening and loving me when I felt like giving up, Thomas for finding a place for me to go when it was time for me to transition, the nurses Brandy and Destiny for always having my back no matter what was happening you guys were my angels…I absolutely love you guys and you will forever hold a place in my heart. Thank you Jackie, Lonnie, Deb, Diana and to everyone I forgot to mention you know you are in my prayers and I love you…See you all soon. Ashley House 1 month ago First off I came back here for a reason, I initially came to Michael’s House in April on 22. Obviously I didn’t listen to their recommendations and tried it my way. This time around I was lucky they even took me being that I was on 200mg of methadone. But they had the knowledge and means to detox me safely! I was scared but the whole staff At inpatient to IOP to TLC was exemplary in their approach to help me. I could not have done it with out them, thank you to everyone that helped me on my journey, to many names to name!! I will forever hold Michael’s house deep in my heart! I love this place like home! Located on a beautiful property in the foothills of Murrieta, with in house groups led by instructors that break it down so in depth. My perspective had a total shift and I can honestly say I owe my life and the promise of a new future to this facility and it's faculty. If you're willing to do the work this is the place to get into your core issues and help you recover from the lifestyle and vices that one is addicted to. I recommend this place to anyone who wants something different from life. DBT, CBT, recovery education, family therapy are just a few of the groups and The program director and Clinical director hand picked a team that is progressive, informed, patient, caring and passionate about what they do. I definitely recommend the outpatient service at Ranch Creek. Teresa Morrello 4 months ago What you need to know about Ranch Creek Recovery:
They accept health care insurance. Katie was great in helping me find the right healthcare provider and coordinating enrollment
PRIOR TO ARRIVAL:
coordinate which house you will be staying at (Bass or Dorrien), what day you'll be arriving, how you'll get to the program, pack a week worth of clothes including a bathing suit, books, booklight (if you plan to read, because all lightbulbs are the dimmest possible), and alarm clock (unless you like counselors walking into your space, waking you up randomly).
UPON ARRIVAL:
You will need to be dropped off (there is no personal parking or vehicle storage). You'll go through a search (appropriately, light pocket check and bags emptied) all electronics will be confiscated (headphones, phones, chargers, etc) and stored in a locked closet. Full inventory documented for all items. You will have up-to 3 days to DETOX as needed where you can sleep and rest privately. I personally got bored very fast and decided to join the group early rather than just sleep, but the option is available as needed.
ONCE SETTLED IN:
There is a 7 day blackout period where you are not allowed phone or computer use and can not have visitors or communicate with family/friends (emergency exceptions). There are typically 4 (one hour) group sessions daily, during which either worksheets are used from various therapy resources, or rehabilitation-related YouTube videos are shown. Counselors rotate based on internal scheduling. You'll have 1-2 private therapy sessions scheduled each week for one on one with Leena or Christine both are great to work with and talk to one on one. Meals are scheduled 3 times a day, residents are responsible for cooking their own meals and can "graze" in making snacks/meals as needed.
DEPARTING:
A close-out assessment will be completed prior to your scheduled last day with an emergency safety plan for sign off. A pick-up time will be scheduled, all itemized inventory reviewed with sign-off. an IOP Intensive Outpatient Program will be offered through RCR Ranch Creek Recovery and/or a plan for after care reviewed.
NOTES:
Phone use allowed 1 hour a day at night after dinner, following a 7 day blackout period. Group sessions can be "boring" lots of downtime, lots of staff turnover.
There are two houses BASS & DORRIEN.
Bass is the main property and where groups are held.
Sleeps 6 residents. There are 3 private bedrooms each with a queen bed (one has it's own bathroom, the other 2 share a bathroom), and 1 oversized bedroom with 3 queen beds, another full bathroom by the living room. big screen smart tv, L-shaped old sofa [over-due to be replaced], matching captains chair with footrest [also ready to be replaced], eloquent dining room (dedicated as an art space), enormous dream kitchen with separate pantry room, food shopping is done once a week with a list (residents responsible to cook their own meals), Pool Table, Ping Pong,, Pool (ICE COLD), Jacuzzi (turned on Friday night only, no lights), garage with some gym equipment (you can use during free time), and a large sunny well maintained backyard is accessible.
Dorrien is the "overflow" smaller secondary house about 10 minutes away. Also sleeps 6 total. 1 large bedroom with 3 beds, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, 1 master with a queen bed which shares a jack-and-jill bathroom. TV, living room, hot tub.
DAILY ITENTERARY:
This is where it gets a bit "grey space" ....
There is a plan on paper (somewhere) and then there is reality.
PAPER PLAN
*I could be slightly off, as no schedule was provided
wake up 7am-7:30am

David ( LT ) David Miller PhD 1 year ago It feels weird posting a review of a rehab, facility, huh? Well, if it helps make anyone feel more comfortable and confident in seeking help, I guess it's worth it. I did a medical detox from benzos here. The staff are all wonderful, caring people, who take good care of you and try to keep you comfortable and safe. With their treatment, I felt no withdrawal symptoms and aside from some drowsiness, no side effects. The only possible complaint I have is the food, but it kept me nutritionally satisfied, and that's enough. It's not a vacation.
If you feel like you need to make a change in your life, or got referred by your doctor or a family member, I fully recommend the place. Recovery is hard, but they'll do their best to make the initial (and scariest, IMO) detox process as easy and comfortable as possible. Dan Hester 1 year ago | 2

I had been through treatment twice before and didn’t think anything was going to change but I was willing to try. I was placed in a nice house with very knowledgeable and relatable staff members that helped guide me in my early days of detoxification. They kept me hopeful for a better life even though I felt like mine was over. The program they run is smooth and effective, they kept a close eye on me and made sure my needs were met. I can’t say enough good things about the program, my uncle passed away while I was in detox and on black out protocol and they still let me make a phone call to my family because they knew how much it would mean to me. Also had it not been for a counselor named Rachael, I’m not sure I would be sober to this day. She helped me navigate the best course of action to remain in sobriety by showing me all the resources and places I could go for after care both in my home state of WV and other options closer to their program as well. Had I not been made aware of the fact that I could go to boardwalk recovery after SBT I don’t think I would have made it as far as I have now. Royal O ' Husky Royal OHusky 4 months ago Miss Dove is a great counselor ... Staff is professional, experienced and well skilled! Saved my life!!! cumpup ts21 6 months ago Pros: Caring Staff, Balanced Groups, Decent Food as far as rehabs go. Visits are allowed on weekends after 7 days.
Cons: Occasionally some clients that need special mental needs met slip in the cracks and it is difficult to replace them where they need to be.
It seems like corporate has the budget in too high of a chokehold, I can't imagine 50+ men at a rehab do not facilitate a higher budget than what is currently allocated. Clients shouldn't be able to feel this.
If you are not keen on a lot of men around you, consider other options with smaller populations. If you are heading here without a choice, talk to your counselor about any accommodations.
If you are looking to get sober, this is a place that runs a dog through the facility and tries to take measures to better facilitate it to those that want to make a serious change for their lives. If you have derailed your life and hit rock bottom, got felonies, or you just got out of prison and have conditions, this is definitely a good spot to put your life back on track. If you are going to rehab for the right reasons, you will not have an issue with 90% of the staff. Most treatment options felt like just like they were farming us for the money, this was NOT one of those facilities.
Even if you don't know where you are, give this a shot. I'm glad I did! Beau B 1 year ago | 4 | |

If you still use, you will never move up to be able to have take-homes. When you get take-homes, if you use again, they suspend it for a week, at first [so you have to go there every day, again] and then you get your take-homes back, but you get less of them I think? | Banning, California | The Morongo Clinic is part of Riverside San Bernardino County Indian Health. They provide outpatient (OP) substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment for members of federally recognized Indian tribes. Non-Indian family members may also qualify for care. They offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) as an outpatient service for patients with opioi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I commend them for practicing what they preach (most clinics will talk a good game but will DO the bare minimum) It's like having found a hidden treasure. From the reception (Deanna is AMAZING) to the dentist and his assistants, my loved one is 84 years old and she's always talking about how kind she is treated. This is almost unheard of for other clinics! And yet despite having to serve dozens of patients a day, staff does an incredible job of not only providing the services, but also making sure patients feel respected. They have composed a phenomenal team of great people and get everything done as quickly and efficiently as possible. I appreciate all their hard work and dedication and judging by their excellent ratings, so does everyone else. Thank you ALL! allison 1 year ago Morongo dental office is great helpful and courteous. Had a root canal done I'm going to get my cowns done here too. If you in need of dental work and your indian this is a great place. Louis Escobedo 3 years ago Morongo Indian Health Clinic is the only Indian clinic in southern California that does root Canals. IDK why other clinics do not do root Canals but I am registered Navajo Nation, I pay roughly $250 per crown. Root canal or not, only cost is for the crown. "Dr. D." Is the #1 dentist. He should get approved another Hawaii vacation or better. Dr. D does not understand why ALL dentists do not do root canals, he says that all dentists have to do them to graduate dental school, so why can't they do them at every Indian Health clinic? I live in Barstow but it's worth it to go to Dr. D at morongo for my dental needs. Sara Olguin 3 years ago

The outpatient treatment center in Temecula offers a flexible & customizable program that caters to individual schedules and family needs. They have been helping the Temecula and surrounding communities for 15+ years and are the best in the town! Joseph M. Heney 5 months ago This program is amazing and made such a huge impact on my sobriety. I participated in the outpatient program and attended a few of the in person sessions, but mainly attended the online sessions due to my work schedule.
Derek’s online sessions created a safe space and not once did I ever feel judged. He gives so much grace, encouragement, education, and experience. Addiction is not a one size fits all model and he really took the time to understand everyone’s individual needs and met us all where we were at in our journey.
Taking the first step and asking for help was the hardest part for me and the only regret I have is not starting sooner.
Vanessa and Derek have two completely different styles, but they are both phenomenal. I HIGHLY recommend Ranch Creek. My life is forever changed and I am truly so grateful. Nicole 1 year ago
