Not too bad I think. First time in this type of facility, so I am no expert. The food is difficult for special diets, but over okay for normal diets. Accommodations are fair and the Staff helpful and friendly~

It's rehab. It's not the first place you'd LIKE to be, but if you're stuck in any kinda of addiction it's the clinc you need to be. The staff for the most part genuinely care about their clients and the case management and therapists truly care about your addiction and recovery. You could list hundreds of things wrong about any rehab clinc but there is no better COMMUNITY than here at Banyan. So many different individuals with so many different lifestyles coming together to detox, have relationships started from one of the darkest times in life. Come, listen, learn, take to heart, and never come back. You can do this, and Banyan is there to make it as easy as possible for you 🙏

I completed treatment here seven years ago and it was life-altering; I continue to abstain from alcohol. The team approaches care with genuine compassion and professionalism, creating an environment where real healing can take place. I am lucky enough to still know many of the staff and peers that I initially met while in treatment and I remain engaged in the alumni program - building community has been key to maintaining sobriety.
I highly recommend Michael’s House and encourage anyone who is on the precipice of deciding whether or not to go to treatment to just do it - You won’t regret it.
Thank you to the MH team for loving and supporting me on my journey!

I desperately needed to get sober & doing it on my own wasn’t working. I had no idea what to expect from this place. From my very first phone call, to the day I was discharged, the staff, nurses, techs & counselors were absolutely amazing & incredibly friendly & compassionate. The women I met and lived with at Fisher Hall surrounded me with nothing but love and support & for the first time, I didn’t feel alone in my disease. The property was beautiful, the food was good & I loved cruising the book store. The psychiatrist, Young, however, was the only disappointing part of my 28 day stay. His comment, “…in 20 years, if you live that long,” was hurtful, especially for someone so vulnerable & new to rehab and sobriety. He also made other upsetting comments to other women in my hall, but that is not my story to tell. Other than that, my stay was amazing & it gave me the tools I desperately needed. Bella monte is simply the best and I mean the best rehab I’ve ever attended. My 6th one. From the great staff (people just like me and you, addicts), from the different foods they provide. 3 hot meals a day. And u can make ur own food and munch thru out the day. To the rooms. Amazing clean private so comfy beds. Pillows suck tho. Ain’t gonna lie. It’s literally a 5 start resort rehab. The peace and tranquility it gives your mind is exactly what u need and crave for in the time after drug abuse. Every staff member that was there in the month of April 2025 will forever be In my heart! There part of my recovery and the reason I am sober today still . I love you guys and gals. I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Stephen Krupey at Pain Relief and Wellness Center in Cathedral City for over ten years, and I cannot praise him and his team enough. Dr. Krupey is an exceptional chiropractor who is deeply committed to providing personalized chiropractic solutions that address a wide range of needs, from back pain and neck pain to headaches and muscular tightness. His expertise extends beyond treating injuries and chronic conditions; he also focuses on improving overall health and wellness.
One of the standout aspects of Dr. Krupey's practice is his holistic approach. At my first visit, he thoroughly explained how chiropractic care works and conducted a comprehensive evaluation to ensure the treatment plan would be tailored to my specific needs and health goals. This personalized care has been instrumental in managing my chronic back pain and maintaining my overall well-being.
Recently, I entrusted Dr. Krupey with the care of my 12-year-old daughter, who is a hobby gymnast. She was initially apprehensive, but Dr. Krupey's patient and humorous explanation of the procedures quickly put her at ease. His ability to connect with patients of all ages is truly remarkable.
The Pain Relief and Wellness Center offers a variety of services beyond chiropractic care, including pain relief, orthotics, and massage therapy. The staff is welcoming and professional, always ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment. They also accept insurance, making the process seamless and stress-free.
Dr. Krupey's dedication to his patients extends to his unique sense of humor—he even gladly accepts tips, but only in the form of stock tips! This light-hearted approach adds a personal touch that sets his practice apart.
If you are seeking a chiropractor who genuinely cares about your health and well-being, I highly recommend Dr. Stephen Krupey and his team at Pain Relief and Wellness Center. You won't be disappointed!
