This beautiful, hope-filled place taught me how to live free from the tyranny I dealt with as a child into my young adulthood. DBT classes opened my eyes to a new way of thinking, which in turn helped me to transform my scars into symbols of survival. I am so grateful to this place and the people there who truly believe that we all deserve the right to be given the tools necessary to live an addiction-free life. Sincerely, Paul Gillispie (Whitmore)

Michael’s House changed my life in matter of weeks. I did things that I never have thought I could and hearing from family members as much of a glow they see within me. I know at times I struggled tremendously with doubting myself but knowing the strong support system I had with the team members kept me afloat. Striving to do better and not giving up was something I look forward to everyday that I experienced with Micheal’s House. They gave me the push I have been needing my whole life and I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to be apart of there program as I continue onto my journey of sobriety. I want to give a special thank you to Mark for the long talks and walks that help boost my self worth and confidence, Ms. Candace for all of the wisdom and advice and guidance to keep me going, Ms. Dee for listening and loving me when I felt like giving up, Thomas for finding a place for me to go when it was time for me to transition, the nurses Brandy and Destiny for always having my back no matter what was happening you guys were my angels…I absolutely love you guys and you will forever hold a place in my heart. Thank you Jackie, Lonnie, Deb, Diana and to everyone I forgot to mention you know you are in my prayers and I love you…See you all soon.

First off I came back here for a reason, I initially came to Michael’s House in April on 22. Obviously I didn’t listen to their recommendations and tried it my way. This time around I was lucky they even took me being that I was on 200mg of methadone. But they had the knowledge and means to detox me safely! I was scared but the whole staff At inpatient to IOP to TLC was exemplary in their approach to help me. I could not have done it with out them, thank you to everyone that helped me on my journey, to many names to name!! I will forever hold Michael’s house deep in my heart! I love this place like home! I can’t say enough good things about my experience at California Behavioral Health. From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me with genuine compassion, respect, and professionalism. The therapists, medical team, and support staff truly care about each person’s recovery and well-being. The program is comprehensive — blending therapy, group work, and holistic activities that helped me understand myself on a deeper level and build healthy habits for life after treatment. The facility itself is beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained, which made it easier to focus on healing. What really stood out was how personalized the care felt. They took time to understand my needs and created a plan that worked for me. I left feeling stronger, more self-aware, and full of hope. If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction or mental health issues, I highly recommend California Behavioral Health. They truly changed my life.

CBH was the biggest blessing to our life. The moment we spoke with Dave who answered the phone, we knew we had found the right place. My daughter told me 3 days into her stay that we definitely made the right choice. She felt comfortable, cared for, and was surrounded by professionals who truly care. She said even the food was delicious and healthy. Her therapist Will couldn’t have been a better fit for her. You would have thought she was family. Thank you CBH for helping my daughter realize life is worth living and marijuana is not the answer. I will always be grateful 💕🙏

It feels impossible for me to adequately put into words what Phoenix Rising and their staff means to me. It’s been 9 months since I arrived there, totally broken, hopeless, scared, sick, sad, and ashamed. I was on the verge of death, either by suicide or my failing health due to my addiction and total breakdown. And now, I have hope, I have sobriety, and my life back. Their program is so special and so well rounded. They think outside of the box with their treatment and make mindful accommodations when necessary. Aside from the usual offerings of therapy, trauma work, 12 step meetings and sober fun days outside of the facility, there is meditation and sound baths, misc outings (hello mani pedi day and softball) and hiking, beautiful pools to swim in, art therapy, writing therapy, and so much more. You learn the science and psychology of addiction, trauma and recovery. You are fed delicious food. Most importantly, you are surrounded by a staff who cares so much. Whomever is responsible for their hiring has a true gift for choosing the right people. If you’re reading this and wondering, please go. Go to this safe, healing place. Go with an open heart, open mind, and willingness. Save yourself. Save your life. Heal. Learn. Grow. Thank you Genevieve, for being the incredible backbone of the facility. Thank you Candice, for being my mama goose- for your warm hug and telling me “you’re home now. You’re safe” as I exited the car crying and defeated on my arrival. Thank you Brie, Chelsi, Jordan, Meditation Mark, and Michelle. I remember and cherish you all. I’m so thankful for you. I’m doing well guys!!! I’m hiking and dreaming and working and cherishing all the things I love!!! I am alive.

Bella monte is simply the best and I mean the best rehab I’ve ever attended. My 6th one. From the great staff (people just like me and you, addicts), from the different foods they provide. 3 hot meals a day. And u can make ur own food and munch thru out the day. To the rooms. Amazing clean private so comfy beds. Pillows suck tho. Ain’t gonna lie. It’s literally a 5 start resort rehab. The peace and tranquility it gives your mind is exactly what u need and crave for in the time after drug abuse. Every staff member that was there in the month of April 2025 will forever be In my heart! There part of my recovery and the reason I am sober today still . I love you guys and gals. Thank you for listening to me with open hearts and non judgmental eyes. Groups were exactly what I needed . It’s small groups but I love it . I got better one on ones. And I talked all my problems out . THIS IS REALLY THE PLACE WHERE YOUR LIFE BEGINS TO CHANGE . Thank you staff! Wish I could bug u guys once more. But not as a client. But as a friend . As a brother . Your best alumni JULIAN TAPIA !!!!!

Jeff is the man. …. Been there twice and it took traction during round two back on New Year’s Day 2021. Recovery and Rehab you can get whatever you want. Their curriculum at the Ranch is successful just like at different recovery treatment centers. So surrender and go with their program, or you can’t do anything and figure you “got this” or maybe do shady things even there. Your choice, surrender and take it in and try something new, or loiter with intent and see how it works out for you. First tried AA on 12-01-2007 but never surrendered ( figuring I got this) but when I gave up, surrendered, and wanted it no matter what, I finally got sober, do the math on my sobriety and waisted 13 years trying to do it my way. So in AA, or, NA you can do or get everything you want. I want to be sober and nothing else. I surrendered 100% 01-01-21. Thanks Mike and the rest of team and family from the Ranch for saving me. I went through this program in 2023, and will forever recommend this place to anyone and everyone I come in contact with that is fighting addiction. The staff genuinely cares and puts their whole hearts in everything they do. When I admitted, my son was in the system, I was facing a joint suspension if I kept doing what I was doing. But, with their help, I just hit my 16 months clean and sober November 19th, I have my son, my CPS case is CLOSED, I successfully completed probation without any violations, and am now in school and dedicating my life to helping others the way this whole facility helped me. Thank you Hacienda, for everything you did for me ❤️
