Brent Cleveland 7 years ago After many failed attempts to quit using drugs on my own I decided to accept help and entered into Revival Recovery treatment center. I showed up broken, dope sick, full of resentments, and hopeless. I was desperate to get clean and get my relationship back with the Lord, but I never expected a transformation to take place. The staff were some of the best guys I have ever met. They all had hearts to serve the lord and love others. They welcomed me with open arms and loved me when I couldn’t love myself. They patiently waited for me to let my walls down and expose my heart. I desperately wanted to get closer to the Lord but I couldn’t have imagined the depth of the Journey I was about to go on! It was Truly a life changing experience and I will forever be grateful for all of the people, (counselors, clients, therapists, pastors, and staff) that guided me and walked with me in the Journey. To those of you reading this considering entering a treatment program or looking for help for a loved one I pray that you take some time and seek the Lord for your answers. When these events are going on, usually, there are meetings of different kinds that take place. There's twelve step and other kinds of meetings . There is also counseling available for those who need it, and don't we always need something once in a while? So people are willing to sit down and talk with you a bit. It's a very friendly place they're doing all kinds of things right now, getting involved with the neighborhood and helping others, including a food drive and some other things that will be coming soon. They are becoming active in this community, and they're working on becoming more active as time goes on. I'm not sure what else I can say. I just really enjoy the people. And my kids absolutely fell in love with a few people there and and I believe they in turn, have done the same, and it's very sweet. .. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that they do have counseling programs there. And you can come in and speak with Brian Jones ( Head Therapist). Haven't touched alcohol since July 13th 2016. I always look back on the month I spent here fondly despite the circumstances of needing to check in to rehab being one of the darkest times of my life. The people complaining it's not some 5 star hotel are mental. Yeah you get a tiny bed, you have a bunk mate and the facilities arent the greatest but if you're spending time here you're not there for pleasure. The group therapy and structured days were exactly what my addict/alcoholic self needed. The fact it wasn't some bourgeoisie cushy hotel stay helped me focus on what I was there to do which was to address my alcoholism and addiction. The food was good and and the staff was firm yet caring and considerate. If my insurance would have covered a 3 month stay I would have stayed longer than a month. Keith 2 years ago

I knew I wasn't going to talk to him again really if you're going to be a therapist you can't tell someone that what there saying isn't true. I didn't respect that about that man because I been through a lot I wonder why he is a therapist there. He doesn't even know me but he made it seem like I was lying about what happened to me in my pass.And it seemed like he had selective hearing like I was talking to myself. I think they need to replace that man and I pray that financially that cedar House stays open for many more years to come. I'm 35 years old I can't program with other man that are focused on the same things of the passed it's more reasons why I left and the programing we were talking about sex I think we should be programing talking recovery and making right decisions and staying away from people of our pass.they could had programs about that when I left I only went to one program that was talking about sex I'm just talking about what I seen on the first program. but to each its on they have to make some things up to make sure everyone is busy if you stay busy in there is no idol time so I understand.im focused on spirituality and .starting this automotive course at chaffey in the summer I'm already signed up and getting in Na Aa meetings I want this better sober life with or without a program God bless you all. Drugs and alcohol were how I coped with the emotional distress I had been long experiencing and during my time at IVRS the staff, the structure, and the atmosphere provided me with an atmosphere that I could make a lasting change. Today, I am not just sober; I am at happy & at peace. I don't miss the days I used to abuse drugs/alcohol and that is an absolute miracle. I am so grateful for the staff that dedicated their lives and careers to being of service to those struggling with addiction.
