I absolutely loved this place. The best place to get help and to grow and understand yourself more. I couldn’t have made it where I am today without their help. I am 1 yr and 3 months sober. I am a house manager for a sober living and I work in a detox facility as well. I am doing things I never thought possible for myself, let alone being able to manage as much as I do now. I have been in and out of rehab for years. I never thought I would recover, thankfully because of Serenity Lodge I can say that I am clean today. I never go around writing reviews, but you guys saved my life. All around from the people who you get to speak to that do your intake to the staff at the facility I was welcomed with open arms and taken care of from the start. Walking into my bedroom I felt at home for the first time in years, I have never laid my head in such a beautiful place, I had a room to myself, a spacious bathroom and a place to put my clothes away. I will end my review on this; most rehabs can be a little run down but not this place. The photos on their website do not this place justice. From the outdoor area to the indoor area everything is amazing and even without all of that the program itself that Serenity lodge offers saves lives!

If i could make it a 10 star rating i would. The whole team cared and made everything so easy from getting there to medical care and home again. Their knowlege and hospitality exceeded far beyond my expectation. A peacful and comfortable enviornmant. I entered this program on 4/18/25, and I spent 31 days here, successfully completing the program. This place was my saving grace, and gave me a second chance in life. I lost my kids due to drugs, and because of GHW, I was able to get on the right track back to having them home with me again. Gibson House for Women gave me my life back! My counselor, Danielle, was and will always be my angel. She had my back from day 1, and was always on top of things. All of the counselors are amazing - they all really do care and most have been down the same roads so they know what you're going through. I was housed with 30 other woman here, and every single one of them became my sober sisters - the most incredible group of women I've ever met iny life. We all had each other to lean on during those times of hardship, and comfort was always there. This place truly is magical, and I can't thank GHW, and the women I went through treatment with enough for everything they've done for me. It was a miracle I ended up here, and the program wasn't exactly easy, but I needed their strict structure at the time, and am so grateful for it. My advice to anyone reading this is STICK WITH IT! IT'S SO WORTH THE REWARDS IN THE END. Don't let anyone take you out of character and destroy the peace you so much deserve.

Spent a month here back in the summer of 2016
Had a wonderful experience and bonded with all the other people I was there with. Haven't touched alcohol since July 13th 2016. I always look back on the month I spent here fondly despite the circumstances of needing to check in to rehab being one of the darkest times of my life. The people complaining it's not some 5 star hotel are mental. Yeah you get a tiny bed, you have a bunk mate and the facilities arent the greatest but if you're spending time here you're not there for pleasure. The group therapy and structured days were exactly what my addict/alcoholic self needed. The fact it wasn't some bourgeoisie cushy hotel stay helped me focus on what I was there to do which was to address my alcoholism and addiction. The food was good and and the staff was firm yet caring and considerate. If my insurance would have covered a 3 month stay I would have stayed longer than a month.

I absolutely loved this place. The best place to get help and to grow and understand yourself more. I couldn’t have made it where I am today without their help. I am 1 yr and 3 months sober. I am a house manager for a sober living and I work in a detox facility as well. I am doing things I never thought possible for myself, let alone being able to manage as much as I do now. This was the foundation of everything that I have become today. A HUGE thank you to all of the staff at Hope Lodge. I hope one day to return and share my story.

St John of God is now Phoenix House. They just opened their doors after receiving the county contract. This comes after SJOG went out of business. Phoenix House offers inpatient care and medication assisted treatment with medications to help persons reduce the need to use dangerous drugs like fentanyl and begin a new path of recovery.
There is a men’s side and a female side that are separated, each with its drug and alcohol program. Transportation to appointments is provided. There are individual and group counseling sessions, mental health treatment, nursing on site, and a Medical Doctor. They also have case management team to assist the patient receive outside services including housing and for aftercare. They have on site kitchen and dining rooms, laundry, refurbished dorms, meeting and group rooms, a pool, outside gym and recreation yard and various entertainment activities and workshops are done throughout each day.

This is the best place to seek treatment. It was my first rehab I ever been to and will be the last one. November 30th I'll have 5 years clean. The staff is very helpful and caring. Love you all thanks for all your hard work.

I came in broken and with no hope to live, my life was in shattered in pieces and i lost sight of my God. I had thought my God had abandoned me, it was hard at first cause i had left the only comfort i had at home and i was scared but upon settling in and getting to know the staff and the clients i started putting my gaurd down. After many failed attempts to quit using drugs on my own I decided to accept help and entered into Revival Recovery treatment center. I showed up broken, dope sick, full of resentments, and hopeless. I was desperate to get clean and get my relationship back with the Lord, but I never expected a transformation to take place. The staff were some of the best guys I have ever met. They all had hearts to serve the lord and love others. They welcomed me with open arms and loved me when I couldn’t love myself. They patiently waited for me to let my walls down and expose my heart. I desperately wanted to get closer to the Lord but I couldn’t have imagined the depth of the Journey I was about to go on! It was Truly a life changing experience and I will forever be grateful for all of the people, (counselors, clients, therapists, pastors, and staff) that guided me and walked with me in the Journey. To those of you reading this considering entering a treatment program or looking for help for a loved one I pray that you take some time and seek the Lord for your answers.
