I just wanted to come on here and tell my story. In 1991 I turned 21 years old and was completely strung out on meth. My boss referred me to this same center and they were able to put me with a counselor who told me I wouldn't survive at the rate I was going. I would be dead in a couple of years at most. His candor and compassion led me to seek treatment and get clean. Now 30+ years later, I'm still clean. Thank you for being there for me when I really needed someone. I am truly grateful.

I was in Michael's house back in 2015 and did a month there and they have a good staff , And I also ate good there, they have real good food, and the hikes were nice and then the trip to Laguna Beach on the last weekend that was awesome can't believe it's already been 10 years since then, I recommend this place It's a good facility 👍

I completed treatment here seven years ago and it was life-altering; I continue to abstain from alcohol. The team approaches care with genuine compassion and professionalism, creating an environment where real healing can take place. I am lucky enough to still know many of the staff and peers that I initially met while in treatment and I remain engaged in the alumni program - building community has been key to maintaining sobriety.
I highly recommend Michael’s House and encourage anyone who is on the precipice of deciding whether or not to go to treatment to just do it - You won’t regret it.

Was kicked out of IOP after therapist told me she no longer wanted to help me. Passed all drug test. Was told at TLC I watched to much tv even though there is nothing else to do there. Wrote on every questionnaire given that I had thoughts of harming myself and thoughts of suicide. Was never addressed. Had therapist believe rumors that I put a stop too. Had therapist fuel the fire of people talking negatively about me. Continued to be suicidal. Got kicked out to the literal street. Have been sleeping on the sidewalk for days because they don’t care about my well being. Would not suggest this place due to the lack of empathy. Sad truly because some of the staff are very loving. Others rather see you commit suicide then talk to you about it.

Jeff, with his hilarious way of relating and his enthusiastic sense of humor. Jaquie, With her analytical mind, intelligence, and encyclopedic knowledge. And Brian, with his love, care, nurturing compassion, and his treasure load of experience. The three of them are unparalleled, and unmatched.

I desperately needed to get sober & doing it on my own wasn’t working. I had no idea what to expect from this place. From my very first phone call, to the day I was discharged, the staff, nurses, techs & counselors were absolutely amazing & incredibly friendly & compassionate. The women I met and lived with at Fisher Hall surrounded me with nothing but love and support & for the first time, I didn’t feel alone in my disease. The property was beautiful, the food was good & I loved cruising the book store. The psychiatrist, Young, however, was the only disappointing part of my 28 day stay. His comment, “…in 20 years, if you live that long,” was hurtful, especially for someone so vulnerable & new to rehab and sobriety. He also made other upsetting comments to other women in my hall, but that is not my story to tell. Other than that, my stay was amazing & it gave me the tools I desperately needed. Overall I had an excellent experience at BF - the only negative comment I could make was the atmosphere in detox- I found the the environment to be dark and depressing, the rooms smelly and a rare and occasion condescending staff member - the minute I walked into DuPont Hall everything changed- I was fortunate to be surrounded by an incredibly supportive and communicative group of patients - I felt very fortunate to have been assigned Bryan Wilmoth as my counselor- he is exceptional at what he does - the small group gatherings were the highlight of my time here at BF - Bryan provides a safe environment that allows people to open up and express themselves in a non judgmental way - he provides levity when necessary and the written exercises were enlighten and productive- I can’t say enough good things about Bryan - last thing - the food was inconsistent and could certainly be better in my opinion - thx for the opportunity to review my experience at the BFC

Bella monte is simply the best and I mean the best rehab I’ve ever attended. My 6th one. From the great staff (people just like me and you, addicts), from the different foods they provide. 3 hot meals a day. And u can make ur own food and munch thru out the day. To the rooms. Amazing clean private so comfy beds. Pillows suck tho. Ain’t gonna lie. It’s literally a 5 start resort rehab. The peace and tranquility it gives your mind is exactly what u need and crave for in the time after drug abuse. Every staff member that was there in the month of April 2025 will forever be In my heart! There part of my recovery and the reason I am sober today still . I love you guys and gals. Thank you for listening to me with open hearts and non judgmental eyes. Groups were exactly what I needed . It’s small groups but I love it . I got better one on ones. TLC has been nothing but great for me. I’ve been to multiple different rehabs and outpatient centers, but this has by far been a life changing experience for me. Without Michael’s House, and Michael’s House Transitional Living Center I would probably be dead by now. The staff is truly compassionate and knows exactly what it’s like to be in the grasp of addiction. The care they provide is unmatched and truly magical. Andrew the coordinator is very active with all the patients and plans amazing trips for all to in treatment to enjoy. He’s very important to the overall morale to the people there. He is always planning great hikes and activities for all do. It’s very nice to have an activity to do and get all out of the center for some great fun!! I went to Kiloby for 6 months. the work they do at the center is very rewarding and changed my life. With that being said, it is a smaller treatment center with a small number of staff which results in a disorganized feeling to the program and a LOT of repeat groups which got very boring. Plus a lot of time is spent sitting around doing 'self support' because they don't have enough staff to run groups and do one on one sessions at the same time. And don't be fooled when you hear them say this is not a 12 step program; 12 step meetings are MANDATORY. and one last thing: I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SOBER LIVING... unless you like sleeping in very cheap bunk beds and tight quarters with upwards of 8-9 people at a time. I am not saying I don't think this is a good program, because it is and I got a lot out of it but I think there is a lot of room for improvement from Kiloby. Give it a try if you want to try something different that really gets to the core of your issues.
Update, 5 years later: After re-reading my review, and the reviews of others who have left a rating, I truly think The Kiloby Center deserves at least a 4-4.5 Star rating. On reflection, the work I did here changed my life more than any of the other programs I've been to. The comments I made about the sober living seem so trivial now.. I can honestly say, for a smaller treatment center, Kiloby did their best and still managed to make a bigger impact on my life than any other 'rehab'/program. I can't say thank you enough. this place gave me an entirely new point of view.

This place was the best rehab I’ve ever been to and I have been too 9 different rehab centers. The wonderful people there helped me with learning about myself and gave me all the tools for me to use to better my life. I had to do the work but I have been clean since 02/08/2025 and I’m so proud of myself for going to Living Longer Recovery Center and I love all the staff there and will never forget Jeff’s cooking and Jerry’s classes and how much they love you until you can love yourself!

I was here only for 7 days and my experience was amazing. The facility was clean, they have a chef there who did a great job and really down to earth person. Ruben was my counselor and he was very helpful through my stay here. Jerry is the lead here and did great as well the staff actually cares here, all of them. Andrew the coordinator is very active with all the patients and plans amazing trips for all to in treatment to enjoy. He’s very important to the overall morale to the people there. He is always planning great hikes and activities for all do. It’s very nice to have an activity to do and get all out of the center for some great fun!! Been there twice and it took traction during round two back on New Year’s Day 2021. Recovery and Rehab you can get whatever you want. Their curriculum at the Ranch is successful just like at different recovery treatment centers. So surrender and go with their program, or you can’t do anything and figure you “got this” or maybe do shady things even there. Your choice, surrender and take it in and try something new, or loiter with intent and see how it works out for you. First tried AA on 12-01-2007 but never surrendered ( figuring I got this) but when I gave up, surrendered, and wanted it no matter what, I finally got sober, do the math on my sobriety and waisted 13 years trying to do it my way. So in AA, or, NA you can do or get everything you want. I want to be sober and nothing else. I surrendered 100% 01-01-21. Thanks Mike and the rest of team and family from the Ranch for saving me.

I love MFI Recovery. From the moment I started this program it has been nothing but a blessing.
The staff there has been so supportive ,caring, and motivating. Their ability to cater to each of the individual needs of all the people that attend classes there is incredible.
Tho I am not blood related to anyone there, I feel as tho I am part of a family that loves and respects me and that truly cares about my success in overcoming my addiction.
I would recommend that anyone that is feeling alone or abandoned in their addiction go in to MFI on Tuesday and talk to Jessica.
She is so kind and very efficient during the intake process. Once your paperwork is complete and you are assigned a counselor you will see what a great place it is and everyday will be better then the day before.
