I just wanted to come on here and tell my story. In 1991 I turned 21 years old and was completely strung out on meth. My boss referred me to this same center and they were able to put me with a counselor who told me I wouldn't survive at the rate I was going. I would be dead in a couple of years at most. His candor and compassion led me to seek treatment and get clean. Now 30+ years later, I'm still clean. Thank you for being there for me when I really needed someone. I am truly grateful.

My son gets THE BEST care there from his psychiatrist Dr. Burns. He is such an excellent psychiatrist. As for the front desk though answering phones and how the intake process us very strange and terrible

Full of secrets and staph members accused of the very worst with minor children all covered up by this facility and the CPS. If your child is here you better be ton high alert . Even with evidence nobody is held accountable.

I desperately needed to get sober & doing it on my own wasn’t working. I had no idea what to expect from this place. From my very first phone call, to the day I was discharged, the staff, nurses, techs & counselors were absolutely amazing & incredibly friendly & compassionate. The women I met and lived with at Fisher Hall surrounded me with nothing but love and support & for the first time, I didn’t feel alone in my disease. The property was beautiful, the food was good & I loved cruising the book store. The psychiatrist, Young, however, was the only disappointing part of my 28 day stay. His comment, “…in 20 years, if you live that long,” was hurtful, especially for someone so vulnerable & new to rehab and sobriety. He also made other upsetting comments to other women in my hall, but that is not my story to tell. Other than that, my stay was amazing & it gave me the tools I desperately needed. Overall I had an excellent experience at BF - the only negative comment I could make was the atmosphere in detox- I found the the environment to be dark and depressing, the rooms smelly and a rare and occasion condescending staff member - the minute I walked into DuPont Hall everything changed- I was fortunate to be surrounded by an incredibly supportive and communicative group of patients - I felt very fortunate to have been assigned Bryan Wilmoth as my counselor- he is exceptional at what he does - the small group gatherings were the highlight of my time here at BF - Bryan provides a safe environment that allows people to open up and express themselves in a non judgmental way - he provides levity when necessary and the written exercises were enlighten and productive- I can’t say enough good things about Bryan - last thing - the food was inconsistent and could certainly be better in my opinion - thx for the opportunity to review my experience at the BFC

If you are looking for a sober living location this is the place. I stayed at Phoenix Rising in Palm Desert for over a month and had a wonderful experience. Thank you Sam and all the staff at Phoenix Rising for attending to all my needs, and truly caring about my health and sobriety. I did not not feel like I was just a number, my health was their priority.

This place is amazing ! Everything about this place is great. The food, the counselors, and all the staff are awesome. Staff is so helpful. My counselor Paul has been amazing. Another guy that's always helpful all around is Shep. He's a good role model and cool to talk to and have some laughs with. I recommend anyone who's really serious about sobriety to give this place a try! 10/10
Everyone was helpful and genuine in wanting to see you succeed, and have longterm success in life. I can say these people running it are good people.

Bella monte is simply the best and I mean the best rehab I’ve ever attended. My 6th one. From the great staff (people just like me and you, addicts), from the different foods they provide. 3 hot meals a day. And u can make ur own food and munch thru out the day. To the rooms. Amazing clean private so comfy beds. Pillows suck tho. Ain’t gonna lie. It’s literally a 5 start resort rehab. The peace and tranquility it gives your mind is exactly what u need and crave for in the time after drug abuse. Every staff member that was there in the month of April 2025 will forever be In my heart! There part of my recovery and the reason I am sober today still . I love you guys and gals. Thank you for listening to me with open hearts and non judgmental eyes. Groups were exactly what I needed . It’s small groups but I love it . I got better one on ones. And I talked all my problems out . THIS IS REALLY THE PLACE WHERE YOUR LIFE BEGINS TO CHANGE . Thank you staff! Wish I could bug u guys once more. But not as a client. But as a friend . My experience was so amazing they have the best staff and the program is so helpful I love each and everyone there all the the people make you feel very welcomed I say that Bella Monte is the best detox and residential ever it's the best by far and I owe alot to Bella Monte and they check up on me once a week and I love them so much I call them once a week myself I think having a place like Bella Monte makes it much easier to recover and stay in recovery

I was in Michael's house back in 2015 and did a month there and they have a good staff , And I also ate good there, they have real good food, and the hikes were nice and then the trip to Laguna Beach on the last weekend that was awesome can't believe it's already been 10 years since then, I recommend this place It's a good facility 👍

I completed treatment here seven years ago and it was life-altering; I continue to abstain from alcohol. The team approaches care with genuine compassion and professionalism, creating an environment where real healing can take place. I am lucky enough to still know many of the staff and peers that I initially met while in treatment and I remain engaged in the alumni program - building community has been key to maintaining sobriety.
I highly recommend Michael’s House and encourage anyone who is on the precipice of deciding whether or not to go to treatment to just do it - You won’t regret it.

I went through this program in 2023, and will forever recommend this place to anyone and everyone I come in contact with that is fighting addiction. The staff genuinely cares and puts their whole hearts in everything they do. When I admitted, my son was in the system, I was facing a joint suspension if I kept doing what I was doing. But, with their help, I just hit my 16 months clean and sober November 19th, I have my son, my CPS case is CLOSED, I successfully completed probation without any violations, and am now in school and dedicating my life to helping others the way this whole facility helped me. Thank you Hacienda, for everything you did for me ❤️

TLC has been nothing but great for me. I’ve been to multiple different rehabs and outpatient centers, but this has by far been a life changing experience for me. Without Michael’s House, and Michael’s House Transitional Living Center I would probably be dead by now. The staff is truly compassionate and knows exactly what it’s like to be in the grasp of addiction. The care they provide is unmatched and truly magical. If you’re looking to begin a new way of life, I highly recommend this amazing center ❤️

Andrew the coordinator is very active with all the patients and plans amazing trips for all to in treatment to enjoy. He’s very important to the overall morale to the people there. He is always planning great hikes and activities for all do. It’s very nice to have an activity to do and get all out of the center for some great fun!! If you need help please consider Michael’s house it changed my life!!
I went to DVR about a year ago and found that they actually care and work on the needs you are looking to work on. My sobriety has come so much further thanks to DVR. Ms.Chris really was the best therapist.

This place really is unlike any other recovery center. The staff here really makes you feel at ease. My experience with Desert View Recovery was unmatched and because of them I have the confidence and mental strength to live the rest of my life sober!
Great place to address addiction and mental health. Most recently we went on a spiritual hike in Indian Canyon that was fantastic. The photo is from the top of the trail. The people here are caring and knowledgeable. Your treated with dignity. I came here straight from inpatient treatment at ABC. Definitely has had a great impact on my recovery. You are taken through an assortment of methods that address addiction and mental health. There is alot of unity here. Definitely recommend.

I have been to many treatment facilities, and Solution Point is by far the best one. I felt safe to be me, to be vulnerable, to open up and be honest. The staff are very caring and loving and supportive. You feel the genuine compassion they have for all their clients. It’s a smaller community which allows for more time with counselors and better opportunity to develop close bonds with your peers, and to really get to know yourself again. You develop friendships and connections that will help you further your recovery once you leave. You make a family for life once you take that first step through those doors! I went to Kiloby for 6 months. the work they do at the center is very rewarding and changed my life. With that being said, it is a smaller treatment center with a small number of staff which results in a disorganized feeling to the program and a LOT of repeat groups which got very boring. Plus a lot of time is spent sitting around doing 'self support' because they don't have enough staff to run groups and do one on one sessions at the same time. And don't be fooled when you hear them say this is not a 12 step program; 12 step meetings are MANDATORY. and one last thing: I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SOBER LIVING... unless you like sleeping in very cheap bunk beds and tight quarters with upwards of 8-9 people at a time. I am not saying I don't think this is a good program, because it is and I got a lot out of it but I think there is a lot of room for improvement from Kiloby. Give it a try if you want to try something different that really gets to the core of your issues.
Update, 5 years later: After re-reading my review, and the reviews of others who have left a rating, I truly think The Kiloby Center deserves at least a 4-4.5 Star rating. On reflection, the work I did here changed my life more than any of the other programs I've been to. The comments I made about the sober living seem so trivial now.. I can honestly say, for a smaller treatment center, Kiloby did their best and still managed to make a bigger impact on my life than any other 'rehab'/program. I can't say thank you enough. this place gave me an entirely new point of view.

The Kiloby Center was my first experience of mindfulness, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. It changed my life and I practice the living inquiries and listen to the guided meditations daily. They have caused me to realize the personality and the self is a construct and I am not stuck in my stories
