*October 2025: My first time getting help & going to a recovery center, everything about Hemet Valley Recovery Center was welcoming, transparent & beyond my expectations. HVRC saved my life & has helped me find my life purpose again. *Initial phone call: Medicare availability & insurance requirements checked. Told to bring my own pillow & blanket & scheduled for a driver pick-up. *Drive to facility & intake: Donnie answered all of my general questions w/ a calm drive. I walked through the intake forms, insurance paperwork, general overview of detox & expectations of the program. *Detox: Supportive Dr. Raja, skilled nursing staff, hospital meals tailored to my nutritional needs & wants, a room to sleep, heal & detoxify my body, I felt confident on my recovery journey. Proximity to the ER is a plus if I needed a higher level of care due to complex medical issues. *Counselors: All patients are assigned a counselor. Check-ins on individual situations & progress of your rehabilitation process. They are kind, compassionate & loving humans. *Classes: Daily schedules have a variety of holistic rehabilitation classes. Lectures, experiential groups, healthy lifestyles, meditations, yoga, Native American circles, NA/AA meetings, recovery planning, Men & Women’s groups, Just for Today talks, arts & crafts, HVRC has it. Hands down the best learning experience I have ever done (& continue in my personal recovery plan) was “Pain Group” w/ Sherry Burditt, RN, HN-BC (AHNA Board Certified Holistic Nurse) for 5 weeks. A progressive learning experience allowed me to use self-discovery, emotional healing & spiritual growth to face past demons, learn about my own energy (Chakras) & love myself again. *HVRC Community: For nearly 90 days, I was immersed in the HVRC family. People you share your days & nights with, along with your thoughts, feelings, assignments & food, to the nursing staff, counselors, administrative staff, drivers, the house senior residents/house managers to daily HVRC volunteers, people are supportive, kind & are there to do what is best for mankind: sustain an environment of caring, client-first vibes. *PHP (partial-hospital patients): Having lived in both female houses, they both provide a calm & healing environment. I have fond memories of rides full of people to & from the center, trips to the ATM or appointments, NA & AA meetings & Soboba’s talking circle. *Outings: Nails/pedicures/haircuts, AA meetings, doctor appointments/imaging, ATM, Soboba talking circle. *Family Weekend: AMAZING experience. Run by Lisa, it is a weekend of family & loved ones learning about addiction. Not just the disease itself, but how to support their loved one in & out of treatment, expectations of their loved one coming home, & a session for me & my family to start the healing process. *Continuing care & Alumni meetings: Thursday nights: an in-person continuing care program that supports HVRC alumni. Counselors offer support in multiple ways. Next is the Alumni in-person/Zoom AA/NA meeting. A great night for a meeting & connecting with so many others who are going through the same thing that I am: staying clean & sober. *HVRC Alumni events: President Jeff does a GREAT job sharing where the donated money goes. Helping clients with prescriptions, housing & other necessities, to fun things for clients & staff with auction baskets, sit-down dinners, arts & crafts, hiding Easter eggs & Sam the Leprechaun, supplying treats to buy at the Alumni store, cookouts, individual gifts, Veteran recognitions, & more!! HVRC Alumni is a space for us to stay connected by volunteering, supplying resources or giving money year-round. *I just can’t say enough good things about my recovery & experience from Hemet Valley Recovery Center. Just celebrated 6 months. I thank both my Higher Power & HVRC for being clean & sober today. As Nike says: “Just Do It”. You’ll save your life or someone else’s. Serenity Lodge is a top notch recovery center which offers around the clock care from detox, throughout treatment, and until discharge. This recovery center offers amenities such as a large pool to swim exercise and lounge in the mountain sun and fresh air, a large gym to lift weights and get in cardio, a sauna to sweat-out and improve your detox process, a meditation area to ground calm and connect spiritually, music recording studio for those who love to create music, weekly hikes to enjoy nature and the wildlife, racket ball and activities room for further exercise and sport activities, large lodge area where meetings and breakfast lunch and dinners are served and their food is above average with quality food coffee teas sodas and snacks. Their team and staff members are always very helpful, kind, caring, understanding, respectful and their teams are plentiful so there is always someone who can help when in need. This center is beautiful within itself being at the top in the mountains with nature and wildlife surrounding. I’ve read a few negative reviews here and from my experience, these are petty complains due to certain persons just not getting their overly unrealistic expectations met but for the average respectable person who knows when in rehab and during detox, there are always times where one feels badly, however this is not the recovery centers fault, it’s just the nature of detoxing and learning coping skills and dealing with personal addictive habits, codependencies, and traumas. Serenity Lodge is one of the best recovery centers you’ll find and deserves to be recognized for being so! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ from this happy camper!!!

Good place to recover depending on what your DOC is needs sum improvements property wise like lighting and cosmetics as well as more staff and landscaping up to date. I’m interested in seeing how they improve these things in the future and will definitely stay in touch, for being my first time in a treatment program overall was a GREAT experience and will and well as am VERY GRATEFUL and this place saved my life. Ray and Ceaser as well as Aida Kailey and Tim had a HUGE impact in my recovery and for the other support staff LVN Jose, Nate, Sean, Corky, Melissa and Andy are all VERY AWESOME and genuine and REALLY deserve to have a say in the future improvements and coardination of curriculum going forward. The offsite meetings were VERY impactful. I will FOREVER BE GRATEFUL. Much Love and Best wishes to ALL as well as the ones I forgot to name. Thank You Serenity Lodge !!

so i started the program and didn't finish it for AA? i loved the school and the people i met, I just had to get back into work, my life is at the point i need to work hope you understand, i cant live off the Gov forever... i spent my 30th Bday there i was super grateful great group of people there thank you for the time and great people i met thank you.

I googled to see if this place is still operating i was there in 2005 and it saved not just me but my kids too I highly recommend mfi to anyone who needs help and it ready for real change they have a great program

I want to take a moment to express my family's sincere gratitude for the incredible care and kindness we received after giving birth to my beautiful baby on September 20, 2026. From the delivery room to the postpartum department, every person who cared for us made such a meaningful impression on my family. My OB PA, Kayla Witcik, demonstrated exceptional professionalism, patience, and compassion. From the very first day I met Kayla I was a mess! So much neglect that I experienced catalyzed a rough start to my prenatal care including uncertainty created by my previous OB. Kayla stepped up the the plate and she was more than amazing! She took the time to explain what was happening throughout the delivery and made sure I understood each step. I was treated with dignity, gentleness, and respect, and I could see that the safety and well-being of both myself and my baby were truly a priority. I also want to give a special thank-you to Lauren from the anesthesia team. She was incredibly kind, professional, and reassuring throughout the experience. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and at ease during an important and emotional moment. Her gentle approach and compassion meant so much to me. Thank you, Lauren, for taking such wonderful care of me! I also want to recognize the nurses who cared for us: Rosa, Michelle, Jessica C., Phebe, Stephanie, Martha and Heidi. Each nurse brought something special to our care. They were professional, patient, compassionate, gentle, and incredibly attentive. They took the time to explain things thoroughly, answer questions, and make sure we understood what was happening instead of ever making us feel rushed or overlooked. What touched us most was the genuine care they showed not only toward myself but toward my newborn baby. Each nurse handled my baby with such tenderness, warmth, and love. It was obvious that they understood how precious and emotional this time was for our family. Their kindness went far beyond simply performing their nursing duties. I would also like to recognize the volunteers who assisted us during our stay. Their friendliness, willingness to help, and positive attitudes made the environment feel more welcoming. Even the smallest gestures of kindness made a difference during a time when our family was tired, emotional, and adjusting to having a new baby. The cleaning and environmental services staff also deserve recognition. They were respectful, professional, and considerate whenever they entered the room. They worked hard to keep the environment clean and comfortable while being mindful of my recovery and the needs of my newborn. A clean and safe environment is extremely important for mothers and babies, and we truly appreciated their hard work. Overall, our family felt cared for, respected, and supported. Everyone we encountered played a part in making such an important and emotional experience a positive one. The professionalism, compassion, gentleness, patience, and genuine kindness shown to our family will always be remembered. Thank you to the doctor, nurses, volunteers, cleaning staff, and everyone else who contributed to our experience. You may do this work every day, but for families like ours, the care you provide becomes part of a memory we will carry with us forever. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

Jessica C. was an incredible postpartum nurse, and our family is so thankful for the care she gave my sister and her newborn baby. From the beginning, Jessica displayed an outstanding level of professionalism while also being warm, approachable, and compassionate. One of the things my sister appreciated most was how thoroughly Jessica explained everything. She never simply did something without making sure my sister understood what was happening. She took the time to answer questions, explain procedures, provide helpful information, and make sure my sister felt comfortable and informed. Jessica was also extremely gentle and attentive. She paid attention to the little things and made my sister feel like her concerns mattered. Her interactions with the baby were equally heartwarming. She handled the baby with such tenderness and care, and it was clear that she genuinely loved what she did. Jessica's combination of knowledge, professionalism, patience, kindness, and compassion made a stressful and emotional time much easier. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Five-Star Experience at Whiteside Manor The counseling services were exceptional. Both the individual and group sessions were meaningful, supportive, and focused on the issues I needed to work on. The staff truly listened and helped me develop the tools I needed for my recovery. The program itself was well organized and kept us engaged with healthy activities, including walks, gym time, arts and crafts, outings, movies, bowling, AA meetings, and other events. There was always something positive and productive to do. The food deserves special recognition as well. The chef consistently prepared healthy, delicious meals that made us feel cared for and at home. The medical team was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. I was impressed by the level of care and support available throughout my stay. One thing that makes Whiteside Manor truly special is that the support doesn’t end when the program does. Even after completing treatment, I continue to work with a therapist and still feel welcomed and supported by the staff. That kind of ongoing care is rare and means a great deal. Going on 16 months sober and Whiteside is definitely a huge part of why I am. The people that work there truly care and want long term sobriety for every single client that walk through their doors. Riverside Treatment Center really saved my life. I have been a patient here for more years than I care to admit. With that ive seen alot. Is this a perfect solution to opiate addiction? That depends on you and the program you want to work. The staff that are there for you are really good people and they will treat you how you treat them. The front desk ladies, Melissa and Alexis are Angels, they work soo hard to make sure your patient experience is as comfortable as possible,both of them go above and beyond to help us patients. The counseling staff i only really know my counselor, and thats because this place does have a "revolving" door of counselors. I won't go into the company politics but the case load, the work and the overall stuff they have to do in the time they have is just impossible and they just get burned out really fast and split. My counselor im blessed to have. My counselor has been at this clinic for way more years than I have and she is amazing. I have seen her console the most desperate person in they're most time of desperation, ive also seen her stop a 6 foot 4, 300lbs man from completely busting the place up and bringing him to tears. My counselor has helped me more times than I can count, she is my second counselor, but she had helped me with my Son and his learning difficulties. Unfortunately my son grew up at the clinic, he used to come with me to my counseling sessions with my first counselor and watch movies on his portable DVD player while I had my sessions. While I feel regret with my Son growing up in a place like this, but my son is now an amazing hard working adult, who has never done any kind of drugs and dosen't even drink alcohol. I've been honest with my Son about my addiction issues and he grew up seeing addicts on the street, at the clinic and 1 even being his Dad, he has seen what addiction does. He has also seen that recovery is definitely possible. Overall is Riverside Treatment Center a perfect place? Nope. People have bad days, addicts want instant gratification either with drugs or service, are there some individuals who will provide you a fix? Sure there is, but thats up to you. Do you want to get clean off of Street drugs? Then go and work an honest program at the clinic, but if your not ready then those people will be there waiting for you whether at the clinic or your neighborhood corner. I will say that being i have take home meds, I dont hang around this place much anymore. And from what I have seen alot of the street activity has cleared up a bit. The location plays a huge roll in the negative people that can be around the clinic. This area is a breeding ground for drug activity and with a methadone clinic smack dab in the middle of this area, your going to have this kind of activity. The clinic can only keep its area clear of that stuff, they can't control the bus stops and fast food areas of activity, thats up to us as patients working a program. Its not a perfect program, but thank God its there for the people that need it and work a real program.

I have had an excellent experience with Riverside Treatment Center. After running into a few walls and also being turned down by a few spots, this was the first place to help me. The staff is involved with the treatment plan making the overall experience feel genuine.

My Mom and Nephew went to visit my sister yesterday and we had a wonderful experience. Great front desk service! Caring and kind staff. Great atmosphere. Very clean. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place for a rehabilitation home.

I entered this program on 4/18/25, and I spent 31 days here, successfully completing the program. This place was my saving grace, and gave me a second chance in life. I lost my kids due to drugs, and because of GHW, I was able to get on the right track back to having them home with me again. Gibson House for Women gave me my life back! My counselor, Danielle, was and will always be my angel. She had my back from day 1, and was always on top of things. All of the counselors are amazing - they all really do care and most have been down the same roads so they know what you're going through. I was housed with 30 other woman here, and every single one of them became my sober sisters - the most incredible group of women I've ever met iny life. We all had each other to lean on during those times of hardship, and comfort was always there. This place truly is magical, and I can't thank GHW, and the women I went through treatment with enough for everything they've done for me. It was a miracle I ended up here, and the program wasn't exactly easy, but I needed their strict structure at the time, and am so grateful for it. My advice to anyone reading this is STICK WITH IT! IT'S SO WORTH THE REWARDS IN THE END. Don't let anyone take you out of character and destroy the peace you so much deserve. I just wanted to adjust my rating of this place the Blaine Street adult clinic has been instrumental and influential in my life so of course it deserves five stars all of the people there in the clinicians and therapists are awesome. They offer multiple groups and tomorrow even though having pizza you know but I've also found in order to make any type of recovery or progress you have to find someone to hold you accountable you have to actually be accountable to yourself if you hold yourself accountable you can always see improvement but you won't actually make improvement and tell you have someone hold you accountable. Often times I've blamed others for not seeing the perception of things are potential in them and also once happiness can only be determined by one's self if you respond to another's actions with happiness or sadness they are in control of your emotions that would be insane so that's one good thing I've learned and also if you put in the time and the work and hold yourself accountable you always make improvements hope it's the first time also you should check out the groups and I don't know if I can actually mention any of the therapist my hand but they're all awesome everyone knows that thank you Blaine clinic and I'm sorry that I've always been in pain

I came to A Peace Of Mind Sober Living with absolutely nothing. Everyone there was extremely supportive and always encouraging. My life has completely Changed because of the time and opportunity A Peace Of Mind gave me to get my life back on track. I am so greatfull and proud to have been a part of that house. 2024 was a transformative year for me, and a big part of that was due to my time at A Peace of Mind. As a first-time resident in a sober living environment, I didn’t know what to expect, but from the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed, supported, and understood. The house provided a safe and structured environment that was crucial for my recovery. The staff were compassionate, knowledgeable, and always available to offer guidance. They truly cared about my progress and went above and beyond to ensure I had the tools and resources I needed to succeed. What I loved most was the sense of community. The other residents became like family to me, and we supported each other through every step of our journeys. The group meetings, activities, and shared experiences helped me build strong, lasting connections that I know will continue long after leaving the house. This sober living house didn’t just give me a place to stay; it gave me a fresh start, hope for the future, and the strength to continue on my path to sobriety. My bed was right next to the ice cold AC and I would sleep like a baby! I always wanted to be home. I love the Old Victorian look and feel. I can’t thank the team enough for everything they’ve done for me. If you or a loved one are seeking a supportive, uplifting, and empowering environment for recovery, I highly recommend A Peace of Mind.

This place is truly a house of miracles. I know this because I worked there for a year as a counselor. They truly do care about people and are very determined to give them hope for a better future. This is a place that you can find purpose for your life and get a fresh start. If you want a place to get away from your addiction and find true peace and tranquility with animal freinds and good people then this is the place for you.

Rancho Milagro helped me with my journey to being a drug free addict. Some staff are very spiritual and if you choose they will guide you spiritually. Brandon, Michelle very spiritual. The ones that aren't still respect your higher power. No judging. Some of them can relate to us the addicts. I recommend this place to heal your addiction and your soul. All the seligible. respectful. Just go in there they help you with work and disability compensation if you are elgible.

Judee is a life saver! She was so helpful and knowledgeable! She got my son approved for outpatient and in patient treatment within days! She was genuine and cared about our son’s safety, health and empathized with us as parents going through this for the first time! She never gave up and gave us so many options to help him every step of the way! Everyone at IOP and the Ranch were welcoming and made a huge difference and impact in my son’s life. I can’t thank this community enough for saving my son’s life! We will visit the ranch soon to thank everyone in person!

I was here for treatment for 8 months and I had an addiction to fentanyl and bipolar disorders . Another rehab didn’t want to keep me because of my kidney failure due to drug use and Angelika welcomed me with open arms !! Beautiful spirited woman !! She goes above and beyond for her clients and treat you like family !! This rehab is the only reason I got sober ! They let you go at your own pace and won’t be quick to kick you out !! Nice food , nice outtings !! She takes very good care of us !! Don’t think twice about coming it doesn’t feel like a facility or hospital and you get to keep your phone !! Nice bedrooms , big beds , your own bathroom and my favorite No ROOM Mates ! And btw Chris the Manager is awesome!!! The only people that had problems with him were the ones that weren’t serious about the sobriety!! He was one of my favorites !

I went to the Christmas Party as a guest and the mutual admiration and love could be felt in the room. They truly love what they do and have a great time doing it.

Liberty House recovery is amazing. ( I’m writing this review 1 1/2 yrs after my treatment) I received the help that was long overdue. The staff is on top of things and have answers that work if you work it of course. When I left I had a set plan for the next 3months which I followed and I’m still sober today! Truly a great place to get help. I recommend this place to start recovery.

Getting to and completing a 30 days program is NOT for the faint of heart!! Audrina DeLeon is a Good lead counselor. She relates and gives good advice. She's caring And doesn't judge you on your past like how some do that has never lived the lifestyle. She's The Best counselor I've had so far.
