This place is truly a house of miracles. I know this because I worked there for a year as a counselor. They truly do care about people and are very determined to give them hope for a better future. This is a place that you can find purpose for your life and get a fresh start. If you want a place to get away from your addiction and find true peace and tranquility with animal freinds and good people then this is the place for you.

Rancho Milagro helped me with my journey to being a drug free addict. Some staff are very spiritual and if you choose they will guide you spiritually. Brandon, Michelle very spiritual. The ones that aren't still respect your higher power. No judging. Some of them can relate to us the addicts. I recommend this place to heal your addiction and your soul. All the seligible. respectful. Just go in there they help you with work and disability compensation if you are elgible.

Judee is a life saver! She was so helpful and knowledgeable! She got my son approved for outpatient and in patient treatment within days! She was genuine and cared about our son’s safety, health and empathized with us as parents going through this for the first time! She never gave up and gave us so many options to help him every step of the way! Everyone at IOP and the Ranch were welcoming and made a huge difference and impact in my son’s life. I can’t thank this community enough for saving my son’s life! We will visit the ranch soon to thank everyone in person!

I’m happy I had the opportunity of going there. It was only there for three weeks. Let’s see. I’ve been out of that drunk environment and sober for almost 2 years. I’m happier than hell.

*October 2025: My first time getting help & going to a recovery center, everything about Hemet Valley Recovery Center was welcoming, transparent & beyond my expectations. HVRC saved my life & has helped me find my life purpose again. *Initial phone call: Medicare availability & insurance requirements checked. Told to bring my own pillow & blanket & scheduled for a driver pick-up. *Drive to facility & intake: Donnie answered all of my general questions w/ a calm drive. I walked through the intake forms, insurance paperwork, general overview of detox & expectations of the program. *Detox: Supportive Dr. Raja, skilled nursing staff, hospital meals tailored to my nutritional needs & wants, a room to sleep, heal & detoxify my body, I felt confident on my recovery journey. Proximity to the ER is a plus if I needed a higher level of care due to complex medical issues. *Counselors: All patients are assigned a counselor. Check-ins on individual situations & progress of your rehabilitation process. They are kind, compassionate & loving humans. *Classes: Daily schedules have a variety of holistic rehabilitation classes. Lectures, experiential groups, healthy lifestyles, meditations, yoga, Native American circles, NA/AA meetings, recovery planning, Men & Women’s groups, Just for Today talks, arts & crafts, HVRC has it. Hands down the best learning experience I have ever done (& continue in my personal recovery plan) was “Pain Group” w/ Sherry Burditt, RN, HN-BC (AHNA Board Certified Holistic Nurse) for 5 weeks. A progressive learning experience allowed me to use self-discovery, emotional healing & spiritual growth to face past demons, learn about my own energy (Chakras) & love myself again. *HVRC Community: For nearly 90 days, I was immersed in the HVRC family. People you share your days & nights with, along with your thoughts, feelings, assignments & food, to the nursing staff, counselors, administrative staff, drivers, the house senior residents/house managers to daily HVRC volunteers, people are supportive, kind & are there to do what is best for mankind: sustain an environment of caring, client-first vibes. *PHP (partial-hospital patients): Having lived in both female houses, they both provide a calm & healing environment. I have fond memories of rides full of people to & from the center, trips to the ATM or appointments, NA & AA meetings & Soboba’s talking circle. *Outings: Nails/pedicures/haircuts, AA meetings, doctor appointments/imaging, ATM, Soboba talking circle. *Family Weekend: AMAZING experience. Run by Lisa, it is a weekend of family & loved ones learning about addiction. Not just the disease itself, but how to support their loved one in & out of treatment, expectations of their loved one coming home, & a session for me & my family to start the healing process. *Continuing care & Alumni meetings: Thursday nights: an in-person continuing care program that supports HVRC alumni. Counselors offer support in multiple ways. Next is the Alumni in-person/Zoom AA/NA meeting. A great night for a meeting & connecting with so many others who are going through the same thing that I am: staying clean & sober. *HVRC Alumni events: President Jeff does a GREAT job sharing where the donated money goes. Helping clients with prescriptions, housing & other necessities, to fun things for clients & staff with auction baskets, sit-down dinners, arts & crafts, hiding Easter eggs & Sam the Leprechaun, supplying treats to buy at the Alumni store, cookouts, individual gifts, Veteran recognitions, & more!! HVRC Alumni is a space for us to stay connected by volunteering, supplying resources or giving money year-round. *I just can’t say enough good things about my recovery & experience from Hemet Valley Recovery Center. Just celebrated 6 months. I thank both my Higher Power & HVRC for being clean & sober today. As Nike says: “Just Do It”. You’ll save your life or someone else’s. Great place to find recovery. Super attentive staff and respectful. They cater to your needs. The environment is in pristine condition and the location is peaceful. The activities were very enjoyable, they keep you on a busy schedule. Overall, my experience there was memorable and I found lots of recovery.

The clinic does not do knee and back brace fitting, therefore you have to go to VA La Jolla to get them issued.

I've been going here for the last 12 years and have found the services to be responsive and timely. They occasionally make scheduling mistakes, but overall it's a good clinic.

I needed help, and I called the first place I found on google. SBT answered the call and arranged to get me from North Carolina to California. It was completely life altering. SBT helped bring structure back to my life. Staff was very accommodating. I had only arranged to stay for the minimum 45 days but eventually turned into 6 months.

After 35+ years of drinking and drugging I had finally had enough. I was way past rock bottom. I was so miserable and couldn’t seem to do anything about it. I had completely destroyed my life by letting alcohol and drugs take over everything. I was standing on my front porch in August of 2021 drunk as ever wanting to die. I had been to rehabs and detox centers over and over and over throughout those 35+ years and nothing ever seemed to work. Something told me to reach out one last time and I thought to myself that if it doesn’t work this time then I am done with life. Here is how I know that my God exists. I dialed the number for a rehab in Chattanooga, Tn. The man that answered was in Murrieta, California at a treatment center called Solution Based Treatment & Detox. They took care of everything and on August 19th, 2021 I was on a plane headed for California. I will never forget the experience of SBT&D. The way that they operate is amazing. They gave me tools to make it through life without all of the nonsense. They showed genuine care and concern for every individual there. You will never find a place as committed to a persons recovery as they are.I learned a lot while I was there and met some really great people. Some of us still stay in touch. The best part about the whole experience, I am still clean and sober! My life is so much better than it was before. I’m not saying that I have a perfect life (it is pretty great though) but I do have an absolute promising clean and sober future ahead of me and it is all because SBT&D taught me that I could enjoy this thing called life without alcohol and drugs. Good rehab center

This place is predatory, as in they are money hungry and prey on addicts under the guise of helping them. They are only friendly to you when you are paying them; anytime after that, they will treat you with disrespect and intimidation. They use outdated statistical information and attempt to brainwash you into being dependent on them. While there is a lot of useful information and services they can direct you toward, this third party company is only interested in taking your money and treating you as less-than-human. In my experience, Dale Walters, the in-take coordinator and class teacher, was only friendly toward me when I was paying him money for the program. Afterward, he treated me with disrespect by insulting me in front of the rest of the class, talking to me as if I were five years old and consistently disregarding my personal space by knocking over my water bottle and saying, "oh, I don't care about anything beneath my knees." This has been my experience and I hope it helps shed light on the poor practices of this company and its employees.

I am so blessed to be able to experience such an amazing place and people. I called and spoke with Elliot. He made the intake process easy for me. Even throughout my time there, he was on top of his game with my paperwork and answered all my question regarding insurnace and EDD. Angel had me look at the world from a different view which helped me gain insight into what I had control of. I plan on continuing to see her after I leave. Nicolas was amazing. Kick ass, down to earth, mind , body and spiritual experience. Small program but individualized for personal growth. My trip there was some what short due to needing a higher level of care....but I will return for PHP and IOP. Elliot: Right from the first phone call, Elliot clearly articulated the therapeutic approach, making me feel confident. He emphasized both group and individual therapy, which was exactly what I needed. Nicholas: As a facilitator, psychologist, guru, and teacher led with experience . Nicholas felt like a guide, he helped me tune into my inner self, enabling me to make better decisions. His presence was transformative. Angel: Angel, my therapist, didn’t give me answers,she guided me inward. Her support was constant, and she advocated for my transition to a higher level of care. Megan: The bodybuilding doctor next door, Megan, got me moving! I wasn’t one for working out, but her energy and care had me feeling so good, I even attempted to give back by cleaning the windows. Lol I actually ruined the sticker with her logo and she took it with a grain of salt. I will replace it . (^-^) Every interaction was tailored, making this program truly special. I have learned so much and they allowed me to grow towards the goals I've wanted to have for years. Not at all the sit and be bored type of atmosphere. More like sit, share, breath, learn , walk, have fun, place to cry, safe place to be, and a spot where I got totally honest for the first time in many moons. I strive to be better by their guidance and compationate ways they have taught me what to do.

I’ve had a great experience here, I like the small group sizes and the facilitators have been awesome. Elliot has been wonderful, he is really helpful and takes care of everything I need.

I don't have words good enough to explain the impact that Elizabeth Everett, NP, has had on my life. I've been going through an extremely difficult time, personally, emotionally, physically and financially. I just got clean off of a 6 year addiction to fentanyl, too, and I can honestly say that if I didn't have someone this astute, professional, experienced, and with the same level of expertise that she maintains in all of the care that she renders to me, I don't know if I would have made it this far into my recovery. I can honestly just about credit her with saving my life, in an incredibly complex variety of ways, that I would have to type pages here to comprehensively explain, and some of the information is even more sensitive than a drug addiction, so this isn't the place. But I can without a doubt in my mind maintain that if everybody had this level of care medically, the world would be a better place. Because ive never felt this level of support before. I know in the back of my mind that my challenges have solutions when I have someone like this on my team. I feel more confident, because I know that during a very turbulent time in my life, transitioning out of an addiction, and with a decade-plus worth of neglected health issues and problems, I have someone who is the best. I honestly didn't know having such a good PCP was like this, because it changes things. NONE of my health problems are being neglected anymore, and I know that the hardest part is already over, because I'm on the rebound now physically. But that brings with it the emotional components, and I have this de-facto proof that the universe loves me and that this world is a good place because I have someone who REALLY, REALLY cares, and has dedicated herself to mastering applying that compassion and drive in the physical realm. She is a golden, illuminating, shining example of what Primary Care should be like. She's the doctor that everyone wishes they had. She does it with grace and empathy. And I really, REALLY don't want to think about what my life would be like if I didn't have her in it. Because when I TRULY needed someone as a good as her to help me seal the deal pushing my way out of out of a lifestyle of self destruction and suffering, she was there. I can NEVER, EVER thank her enough. And I called her a doctor, even though she is technically a Nurse Practitioner, but I swear I never want to be treated at a Primary Care Provider level by ANYONE ELSE, EVER AGAIN. And you can't make me!!
