I have been to many treatment facilities, and Solution Point is by far the best one. I felt safe to be me, to be vulnerable, to open up and be honest. The staff are very caring and loving and supportive. You feel the genuine compassion they have for all their clients. It s a smaller community which allows for more time with counselors and better opportunity to develop close bonds with your peers, and to really get to know yourself again. You develop friendships and connections that will help you further your recovery once you leave. You make a family for life once you take that first step through those doors! Thank you to everyone at Solution Point!

My time at SolutionPoint has been amazing. The counselors and staff members are incredibly kind and are truly invested in helping individuals get sober and stay sober. The facility is immaculate and each room has a great bed and wall mounted flat screen tv. The groups sessions are intimate and foster connection on a deeper level of understanding about alcoholism and relapse prevention. This is a special place for recovery and provides a safe place to be vulnerable and build a solid foundation for recovery.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Creativity is inherently healing, and can help those in recovery express thoughts or feelings they might not otherwise be able to. Creative arts therapy can include music, poetry/writing, painting, sculpting, dance, theater, sandplay, and more. Unlike traditional art, the final product matters far less than the experience of creation and expression itself.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Hypnotherapy (aka guided hypnosis) can be used as a therapeutic modality to treat substance use, especially in terms of quitting smoking cigarettes (nicotine). Clinical hypnotherapists help clients turn their attention inward, accessing unconscious or subconscious material, and then make suggestions that are healthier for the individual. The process can help clients make deep, positive, and lasting changes, including ceasing addictive habits.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change (rather than wait for them to come to conclusions themselves). Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.

Recreational therapy (aka therapeutic recreation) uses creative and fun activities to help with addiction recovery. Recreational therapists lead patients in entertaining and engaging activities like sports or games; art (drawing, painting, sculpture); drama, music, and dance; and/or community outings (field trips) to improve patients' physical, social, and emotional well-being.

I have been to many different rehab facilities. Solution point was the first rehab where I actually feel like I got something out of it. The groups were educational and intimate. The facility is small housing only 8 people, so you actually got the attention you needed and felt comfortable to share in groups. Not to mention you have your own private room, with your own tv in it. The place is very clean and inviting and chef Izzy is amazing! If I ever have to do this again God forbid, I will hands down no question come back to Solution point. Thank you everyone that was there for me during my stay! You all are amazing people. Especially you T lol I love you guys 😘😊

Solution Point was an absolute godsend for my son. From the moment we set foot on the premises, we were warmly greeted and welcomed. This facility is nestled in a beautiful area, private rooms, it’s very clean, modern, and well organized, it’s like a mini 5 star resort. My son was very well taken care of by the staff, from the moment he arrived until he left. His treatment was extraordinary from the one on one therapy to the group therapy sessions and outings. I am so grateful, so thankful, so blessed that I brought him here. He is doing amazing now! I want to thank the entire staff, from Emilio, Jill, who was absolutely amazing with my son, Justin, chef Izzy, he can’t stop talking about your delicious meals and creations, driver Troy, and all the other staff members and clients who helped and supported my son throughout his journey! Special thanks to Bobbie too! You are all such extraordinary, exceptional, amazing people and I can’t thank you enough! I will forever be grateful for you all! I highly recommend this treatment center, they treat you like family and understand you.

If you are trying to better your life and get sober this facility is amazing, the staff is so caring, the weekly activities are awesome, you are treated like a real person, you don't feel like a guinea pig to medications they actually listen to you here and are treated with dignity, you have your own bedroom with streaming channels so you aren't bored. There are only 7 clients here at the most so you don't have to feel overwhelmed. Multiple bathrooms so you don't have to wait for one. You are allowed phone privileges here too (which is a plus). They have an amazing private chef who cooks incredible meals, 7 days a week. You can take mineral baths, if you request ahead of time and a big plus for me was I was able to have my dog with me. They truly care about the clients here. Last thing I loved about them is they make you feel like family

Solution Point far exceeded my expectations. Everyone was warm and welcoming from day one. The rooms and premises were impeccable as was the food. Couldn't ask for a more supportive, relatable and knowledgeable staff. There was good rapport among staff and peers. We stayed busy with our meetings and meditation and other activities throughout the day. My dog loved it. Lots of love here. Thanks for the continuing journey.

I write this review after 4 months of sobriety and 3 months since I checked out to say, "it works if your work it" and so far everything I learned at Solition Point is working. And I thought some time on the outside and in the real world would help me to give an honest review. In all honesty this treatment facility is one the best things that ever could of been apart of my life. I learned so much about my disease and gained many tools to help me maneuver through life sober. Solution Point helped me to build a foundation for myself that I have been able to build on. From the facility that still feels like home, to the staff...THANK YOU for all your have done for me. You guys have impacted my life in a way that has not only enriched my life but also my wife and children's lives. You have helped me find the courage to share my story and advocate for myself. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is struggling with addiction. Solution Point has made a mark on my heart and I will continue to visit from time to time for years to come. And with that I will take another 24.

SolutionPoint was everything I didn't know I needed! The staff genuinely cares about their clients and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable, memorable and productive. Single rooms, weekend outings, daily opportunities to attend 12 step meetings in the area, healthy meals, clean facility and more. My time @ SolutionPoint was truly healing from inside out and transformative in many ways. I have been given the gift of sobriety!

I would rate this zero stars if I could. Jill, Jim and the team did nothing but sow division between my family, never followed up when they said they would, and provided no answers to simple questions my family had about our loved one’s progress. Do not send your loved one here. There are much better recovery centers out there.
