Really learned a lot here and recommend this place. One big thing I learned or realized was that this treatment wasn’t necessarily supposed to “fix” something with me as if I was a machine, but to help me to dive deep into what I was running away from or avoid, give me tools to manage the discomfort, and to have a better relationship with myself and how I view my own struggles and experiences. I am incredibly grateful for Harmony Place and the transformation this program has brought into my life. I was hesitant about starting the program, especially because of the group sessions. I honestly didn’t think I would be able to open up and share my trauma, struggles, and personal experiences with a group of people. But I was completely wrong.
From the beginning, I discovered that this program is truly something special. The therapists are wonderful, compassionate, knowledgeable, supportive, and full of wisdom. The staff is kind, caring, and always willing to help with anything you may need.
The people in the groups are phenomenal. Sharing your experiences in such a safe and supportive environment can be difficult, but the therapists know exactly how to guide you through it. The feedback from the group is always filled with compassion, understanding, empathy, and encouragement. I never expected to feel so comfortable being vulnerable and sharing things I had carried for so long.
Every session provides valuable knowledge and practical tools that you can use in your everyday life. I am especially grateful for how much this program has helped me work through my anxiety, panic attacks, and past traumas. I have learned so much about myself, healing, self-compassion, and how to move forward in a healthier way.
I wholeheartedly recommend Harmony Place to anyone who is struggling and looking for support. To me, this program feels like a true metanoia, a profound transformation. You enter one way, and you leave changed, stronger, more aware, and better equipped to live your life.

I was apprehensive about going to Harmony in the beginning because I had never had any kind of therapy before and it was honestly a scary thought. It has honestly changed my life. I was in such a bad place I didn't think anything would help. The staff are wonderful, caring, understanding and respectful to your individual needs. I was scared of doing group therapy but it was probably the best part. My therapist Hayden was cunningly brilliant. I don't have much to compare to but I'd go out on a limb and say it's what you can only hope for in a patient therapist connection. Hayden helped me through some pretty deep trauma with compassion and caring but also that little push when needed. The only complaint I have is I can't continue with him as an outpatient therapist because he's honestly brilliant at what he does. All of the other therapist are exactly the same during group therapy. Although different styles they were just as compassionate and caring as Hayden. I generally don't write reviews for things but it would be a travesty not to for Harmony Place. I'll never forget what this program has done for me and can't thank every staff member and therapist enough for the help they have given me. Not only that but I have made bonds and what I can see as lifelong friendships with the other clients I met in program. I would recommend Harmony to anyone having issues and in need of help. Like I said before, life changing experience and I will be forever grateful for the help I received.

I went here two times and if you want to change your life and get on your feet,..this is the place to go to! i was court ordered the first time for 90 days I ended up graduating after 6 months on my own recognizance. Hit a low point in my sobriety and knew what I needed to do the second time cause I had the 1st time in my tool box. I highly recommend this place to ANYONE who needs help with their life. I made friends there that will be the best and closest I will ever have in that place.

This place helped me when I needed it the most. Because of the support from my counselor I was able to stay clean and move forward from a dark time in my life. They supported me while my son was in the NICU for 10 weeks and facilitated my visits with him throughout my stay. They even helped my transfer to a program after my stay where I got continual support for my sobriety and the many needs my son had from his medical complications. Genesis House is an Excellent Recovery Center. It sits perched on a hill in Seaside overlooking the gorgeous Monterey Bay. They have very caring professional counselors who help navigate you toward a new start. One thing that is certain, you will get the tools you need but the key is to use them! One will get as much as one puts in. It could be easy to breeze thru this program but unless you are willing to delve in deep you won't get much out of it. The food is wonderful. The social model creates an atmosphere of team work.
There aren't any dogmas or ideologies that are forced on one. It is a great place to launch your sobriety!

I came to Bodhi two years ago seeking support for a marijuana and alcohol addiction. I have received so much help and value from this heartfelt and professional team. As a clinician I can highly recommend Alsana. This review is for the Alsana in Monterey, CA, however my review of their programing can be applied to the other locations as well. What really struck me about this program is the attention to each individual client and their intention to "bring as much of home" into the program as possible. The program highly focuses on clients relations( relation to self, to others, to their culture, their spirituality) and works at tailoring healing through the lens of these relationships. They also focus on healthy relation to movement, which I think is a really great aspect of the program. And in regards to the Monterey location, it is in such a beautiful spot. Just the access to nature can help support in recovery. I am often recommending Alsana to my clients, and wanted to leave this review as a recommendation for anyone looking!

I think this is a wonderful rehab, the facilities are beautiful, the food is amazing (I have never even had food this good at a restaurant), and above all they have really helped my husband. Obviously anyone that first goes to rehab isn’t happy with their situation but in just two short months he was a changed person. The work they have them do on themselves got him to finally see why drugs and alcohol are no way of life. He’s finally sober and actually enjoying it! This rehab helped him so much he actually chose to stay LONGER, and I am for once excited for what the future can bring.

My experience here throughout my last few months has completely changed my whole outlook on life. Before I got here I thought my life was going towards the end. My body was failing and mental state was terrible. Every part of the program touches on every aspect of the addicts life. Now that I have finished the program and started living daily life with all of the gains I got throughout the program, failure isn’t an option. I know I can truly be happy sober now. I finally gained back the love and support from my life partner and best friend I always knew was still there. My mom also believes in me again which is so important to me. The possibilities and happiness are endless now. Thank you Elevate.

When I walked in here I was welcomed with open arms. I felt the empathy, compassion and care I was going to receive here.
Located in the in the outer Hollister area, The facility has a great open space were there is plenty of space to walk around and stretch your feet. I never felt trapped or suffocate, and most importantly , alone or abandoned. If you have any medical needs, urgent care or Mental anguish they will provide services and even take you to the clinic/hospital. Also very helpful with filling out documents.
With a healthy maximum of 12 people any given time, the attention you need is well provide. this facility is co-ed
The staff is compiled with a variety of professionals, therapist and counselor that are not only highly skilled and qualified in their field but are experienced with substance abuse and mental health. Medication is well distributed, monitored and supervised by doctors and nurses. 24 hr around the clock staff is willing to help and cater to any needs you may have. Store runs and family visitations weekly. A great variety of classes and activities scheduled daily. phone calls allowed after a 5 day blackout period for several minutes. Breakfast , lunch and dinner provide Monday through Friday; Facility always is well stocked with plenty of food.Take out is provided on the weekends. Very clean and well maintained and safe facility

The team at Bright Future were professional and thorough from the first phone calls inquiring about the facility, intake process, what to expect, and check-in, through the detox phase, explaining the process, communicating progress to the very end of what to expect after the 30 program. I was uncomfortable with some of the facilities we had looked into and were very happy with this choice and would recommend their program and facility to others looking for a safe and effective program with a welcoming environment and team. Well rounded activities and recovery work. I believe I brought home someone with the tools to be successful in their sobriety after years of alcohol addiction, and tools to establish boundaries and a healthy life for themselves.
