We placed our son with CRC's Outback Therapeutic Expeditions in Lehi, UT. I believe it is the most difficult decision I have ever made. After years of therapy, a couple of stays at a crisis center, & plenty of family turmoil, our son was becoming more isolated, more defiant, & doing increasingly worse in school. The professionals at Outback, from the receptionist to the executive director, were all empathetic, extremely courteous, & responsive. Our son's field therapist & field staff were the best!
Our son came through the program much different than when he went in and we continue to work through the process. He is more self aware and developed solid coping skills because of his work with Outback. The only thing we would change would be to have engaged an educational consultant earlier than we did. Other than that, we believe Outback was the right decision for our son.

This organization is very helpful. They helped with a significant dependency I developed for an anti anxiety medication for 10 years (Ironically given by Kaiser itself). The treatment is very therapy intensive (individual and group) followed with very occasional visits to the psychiatrist. This model in my opinion is much better then the system that got me dependent as I used to only see the psychiatrist who only prescribes.
If you join the program they will teach you very useful techniques such as SPARROW, DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), getting involved with dependency/addiction groups, and creating a strong support network. If you are dependent expect 2-3 weeks where this is a full time job followed by 10 hours for 4 - 16 weeks.
All in all you are getting about 200+ hours of therapy which at current therapist rates of $200/hour equals about $40K in treatment. If you are a Kaiser patient I highly recommend it. Can't thank the staff enough

I can't express how grateful I am to Kaiser Permanente and CDRP on the great help they provided to my child, and my family ultimately.
While at first I was disoriented by their response, I've come to realize that they are very dedicated, knowledgeable, and accomplishing wonders with the resources available to them, which are not illimited. Hopefully Kaiser will be able to invest more but meanwhile, Kudos to Dr. Saul and the rest of the staff!

This is an amazing place. It absolutely changed my life. I came in broken and left feeling like I was able to get my life back. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and very considerate to the needs of each client. Their residential program provides you with a structured schedule that is suitable for learning and not overbearing so that you can really work on recovery. Their outpatient programs allow you to soldify your foundation in recovery while you adapt to a sober lifestyle. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody that needs help.

The Camp Recovery center truly gave me my life back. The staff was extremely supportive and helped me find a sober living and a strong stable exit plan for when I left that led me to success. The Santa Cruz AA/NA is also incredible down there and was a great supportive place for me to stay sober before I eventually moved back to the Bay Area. The staff and therapists lead a very strong program and offer SO much to residents from yoga, acupuncture to meditation. My brother also went to the camp after me because we knew it was one of the best treatment centers out there! I still check in with members from the camp even after 7 years. The camp saved my life and changed my outlook on life and recovery. From the start I was cared for by a professional care team. I was able to detox in a quiet safe cabin. Once I felt ready to participate in the groups I did. The other clients were also very welcoming making my transition into recovery less stressful. By doing both group and individual therapy I have been able to stay clean. I learned about the disease of addiction and about myself. I gained critical coping skills as well. I continued with outpatient group therapy and continued to add up my victories along the way. Because of the care team at the camp I am able to be the person who I always wanted to be. Successful, loving, non dependent on drugs or alcohol and soooo much more. Most of all I love the person that I am today. Thank you everyone for being there for me even when I sat on that bench and cried. I have been to other recovery institutions and the camp is the one that did it for me. I had such an amazing experience participating in the virtual IOP offered through Elevate San Jose. To start the facilitator was so engaging and knowledgeable, every session I felt as though I gained a piece of myself back. You are engaged with others that you end up building trust with, so you can truly be honest with yourself and really become vulnerable. Each session is orchestrated so well it does not compare to others I have done in the past. I was worried about how I would continue my growth after treatment but was put at ease immediately following my first appointment. I would recommend it to anyone in need of an actual helpful IOP service.

They will prescribe you maintenance medications while you are in the process of switching insurances. you can bring your old prescription for your maintenance medications and let them know you are actively seeking new primary care and psychiatry through the new insurance as soon as they can get you in for intake. They helped my family member with a horrifying mental illness emergency as a walk in and as an uninsured new patient. We are forever grateful and they gave a prescription with resources list for other services. We were able to also have this prescription sent to a particular pharmacy that fills free medications for people who have no money. This is extremely important and saved us the worry that was looming. So happy this place helped us 👏

I love the vibe at their open mic night it definitely for the culture. I had the best experience during a drum lesson too because the guest trainer was top notch. Personally we loved this school so much , great staff and great environment for children to blossom!
My son enjoyed every bit of this preschool, we loved participating and working with teachers.
The teachers are so well qualified to handle all the aspects. They make learning fun.
They do a lot of hard work throughout the year in making our children learn in fun way !
At the end they build a community and we parents come out becoming friends like family !
So many field trips , music , math , cooking , dance , academics everything here in this preschool is amazing!

I really like the bright beginning school. My son have really good experience in this school. This school helped me to become early childhood educator and they offered me free classes online. Today I am also become preschool teacher and gets 18 units from foothill college. My son is doing great in kindergarten because he attended bright beginning preschool. Even today we both remember the kindnesses words from the teacher. I would highly recommend this bright beginning school to the parents. Not only did my son build confidence in this school, As a parents I did gain my confidence in this school too.

My father, Fermin, received wonderful care and customer service from Sharlyn. She was attentive, thoughtful, and really catered to his needs. The PT, Regina, and OT, Stephanie, were also incredibly patient and supportive throughout his therapy.

I recently had a very challenge surgery at your hospital, and I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to the incredible nurses who cared for me during my stay. This was one of the most significant moments of my life, and the kindness, professionalism, and compassion shown by your team made all the difference in my recovery.
I especially want to recognize Megan, Olga, Therese, Dominique, and Journey for their exceptional care. Each of them went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, safe, and emotionally supported through every step of this major procedure. Their gentle reassurance, attention to detail, and genuine compassion helped transform what could have been a very difficult experience into one filled with hope and calm.
Thanks to their dedication, I am now healing well, walking again, and looking forward to the months of recovery ahead. I truly felt cared for not only as a patient, but as a person.
