Just finished treatment at WVDT and in the beginning (as per usual whenever anyone is kicking anything hard) I was hostile, isolated and resistant to the treatment. I came in on NYE 24 from Miami, FL and by day 4 I needed to go to the hospital, they made the decision and when I was done I returned to finish my 28 days of treatment. I am very thankful for everything and everyone there, I have never been more clean in my life since I began using in 2020. One of the workers Mariah, shared her story with me in the beginning of my stay and one thing she said really resonated with me. "I just stayed, and I listened" and for my duration I just grasped onto that. I stayed, I listened, and I got my life back. They also assist you with post-treatment planning, whether that's PHP, Sober living, IOP, etc. They make sure you have all the tools you need so once you're discharged it'll be a smooth transition for you. Everyone there was knowledgeable and had some type of first hand experience in what you're actually going through. Some notable shoutouts include Austin, Mariah, Beau, Emmanuel, Malika and Jordan. The Private Chef there too is amazing. For going through what was the toughest time in my life, I will never forget my month there. Thanks Everyone!

Any good story should start so there I was. So there I was, I was a meth user for 30 plus years and an alcoholic. I don't know we're to begin on how much starbridge helped me.. my mental health was shot by body was shot and my pride was shot I had been to countles facilities and programs during my 30 years of use and soon as i left I knew I was getting high. Something clicked here at starbridge recovery for me yes I have a 1 year old and a partner at home that I was trying to get clean for but the staff and faculty had me realize that I need to do first and for most for me than my family will reap the benefits of the real Tyson. I can go on and on about the good food from the private chef the heated pool the nurse on duty the technician that run groups and the counselor/psychiatrist,and the other clients that were there at my stay... but what really got me was soon as walked in the door the energy that overcame my body and In my belief the other countless souls of the people who came and left before me left a part of themselves there. And I knew that I was safe from whatever my problems were that they were gonna be taken care of I want everyone too know that starbridge recovery has saved me and has shown my family a new man one that they deserved for 30 years ..... thank you for saving my life everyone at starbridge and beyond. This was the best recovery experience! This was not my first time in treatment and I thought that I knew what to expect. The groups were small and intimate. The staff and other clients were caring, empathetic, open minded and friendly. I was introduced to Smart Recovery which is a great alternative to 12 step programs. We attended 12 Step meetings as well. All the techs and counselors were committed to my success. My therapist Stephanie is a great listener! She heard my concerns and was able to present other perspectives that I hadn t thought of. The chef, Dean is a fabulous cook! Dustin, Evan, Leslie, Sam, Brittany, America were all essential in this process. They are all proof that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety but connection!

My experience at The Canyons was life changing. Antonio and his team of therapists, support groups and staff are all wonderful to work with and truly care about your recovery and well being. I have had other experiences in recovery and have never come out with a more solid foundation and hope for the future than I have since leaving the canyon. They have all the necessary resources and even offer post recovery Alumni services that I plan to unitize moving forward. Revive was a great experience. The first week was rough for myself but after finding a balance within myself and being able to attend groups I was able to acquire the tools I needed to maintain my sobriety.

Coming into a program like this is terrifying. Just making the call takes a ton of courage and effort. The program is challenging in all the right ways: Taking you out of your comfort zone to improve your self worth, massive amounts of material to learn and put into practice, and learning patience. Phoenix House changed my life. It is a fantastic brotherhood that will help you gain positive relationships; and new friendships. The staff truly cares about you in every way. The Counselors, and Therapists provide you with new skills you can use in recovery. It is a great experience for those who need help with substance abuse. I have been to a multitude of treatment centers in and outside of California, Avedis Recovery is by FAR the most caring, authentic, and helpful place I have ever been to. It is the ONLY place that I was able to stay sober during my entire time and where I was able to find the confidence in myself to stay sober and where I found real growth. They care. Every other treatment center it was very clear that the management and program directors were really only involved for the money. The program director at Avedis is not, he and all other staff GENUINELY CARE!! Usually at other places you never see the director but here you see him almost everyday, he is involved and genuinely cares about people here and their sobriety. With the help of Avedis Recovery I was able to gain a newfound confidence in myself, my family s trust, my faith in God, and most of all a clear and sober mind. If it wasn t for Avedis I don t know where I would be, but now I am almost 8 months sober and am actually happy and enjoying life. I give all the thanks to God and Avedis!

Don t judge a book by its cover. If you re looking to get and stay clean and focused on your recovery come here, staff and residents are very friendly and the houses are very clean. You get drug tested 2 times a week and at the house. If your serious about getting and staying clean come give this place a try

I stayed here May 2023, The program really helped me find myself. The housing is great lots of room, big backyard w/ a pool. Staff was friendly and attentive. We grilled a few times, felt nice and homely. Thank you Hathaway House!!!

I am very happy with the treatment I received at Hathaway. The staff and therapist really care about you and I think that s number one when choosing a place to recover. The therapist are top notch!!! The amount I learned in the 2 months I spent was incredible. I wasn t a huge believer in group therapy before I came but the impact it had on me will last a lifetime. I had some ups and downs in treatment but overall my experience was wonderful and any complaints I have are minute compared to what I am able to take away. They invest in what matters. Shout out to George and Nicole - You guys really are the best managers!It s also a beautiful location and the view of the mountains is absolutely gorgeous. Outings were super fun and they made my birthday super special (Thank you Dina!)If you have a desire to stop using, or have co-occurring disorders this is the place to go. I felt lost, anxious, confused, and ashamed. But as soon as I stepped into DEDICATO they treated me with compassion and empathy, I wasn't judged at all. I felt so at ease and comfortable. Dr. Marshall is very understanding he knows where I was coming from and he felt my pain. The staff treated me like family. The first person to greet you is Lilly with a smile and helps with any questions you might have, Kalen a staff member and a physical trainer is their by your side step by step. I call them the three wise men again Dr. Marshall keeps it real with me, that's what I wanted honestly, by my side during my journey on recovery. I have David an awesome person has great group zoom meetings. Charles keeps it real also honest and humble, very understanding. HANDS DOWN the BEST program I've ever been to.I went there a few years back and I've been to several programs, and this one genuinely cares and IS NOT in it for the money. Dr.marshall is very professional and doesn't just sit behind a desk + poures his heart out!

Dr. Marshall is a prime example of fighting the odds and changing his life in a complete 180, inspirational in so many ways. I'm lucky to have the privilege to attend his classes at The Salvation Army and every time it is an exceptional lesson I learn. His story from having nothing to being successful in school, attaining multiple degrees in college, and opening up rehabs of his own shows his determination and will power to want change and better for himself and still try to help others. He has shown great resources and ways to be successful and it is extremely helpful to have a source like him to listen to and learn from. I came here in November at the guidance of my work. I worked as a biochemist for a large medical company. I thought I could get better on my own. The people here showed me how to learn to live clean without substances. It was the perfect mix of ultra luxury and intense therapeutic work. I highly recommend this treatment center, and anyone who needs to come here.

Sanctuary was the kindest I ve ever been treated as an addict. I ve had terrible experiences in rehab and they made me feel safe. The staff was always kind and I never felt judged for feeling the way I did. They didn t expect too much of me and let me ease into group therapy. I m forever grateful for that experience at one of the worst times of my life.

STAFF IS AMAZING AND SOOOO SUPPORTIVE

MCR SAVED ME FROM DRUGS, MYSELF & DRINKING! I want to talk about my experience, everyone was very kind and we had a great group that I was with at the time which really helped me to recover. The first two weeks I had still been off the wagon, but as soon as I confessed to the group I immediately began to heal. Carlee was an excellent therapist for me and I remember having lots of friends supporting each other while I was getting my recovery. We would practice breathing exercises, watch movies that would help out with our recovery, and talk about anything or anyone who has been bothering us recently or from anytime in our lives. They even had a special brain training activity on the computer that you do to help focus on recovery. All the teachers were so nice and had fun assignments to do to help keep our minds off drugs and alcohol. They even have doctors who help provide medication to help keep drugs and alcohol away. I am much more responsible and take medication now to help maintain my sobriety. Thank you MCR!
