I completed my time In May 2025 and graduated in June 2025. During my time at California Prime Recovery I learned a great deal about myself. The staff, facilitators, there, counselors were all on point to support, assist, plan, exceptional guidance to recovery and coping strategies based on your individual needs to overcome any addiction, substance issue or mental health. The overall staff have great pride and are really genuine in everything they do. I had no complaints only compliments. I’ve been to so many treatment centers. I swore last time I relapsed I wouldn’t go back to another because there all the same. But I had a friend reach out and tell me about treehouse. They told me it was drastically different and maybe something to ge the off the hamster wheel of treatment. They came out and met me and vetted me and made me feel important when I felt as low as possible. This place isnt a place where they stick you in a room and make you do group from 9-5. They teach you how to live again. There is an education group on addiction but it’s only an hour. The rest of the time you’re doing therapy. Which is 4 times a week. Or your lifting, in the gym, or learning how to be social again. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you want to do something different and stay sober. This is the place.

Tree House Recovery has proven to be a lifesaver for my son. My son had been using heroin for about 10 years, and his life was looking bleak. My family and I decided to step in and look for a rehab he couldn't Uber home from. We live in the east, and Tree House is in California. We liked the fact that it was a 5 month program, too.
Matt was our first person of contact. He made us feel like we were no longer alone. He was always there to guide us. My son was in a detox here which wasn't going as planned, and Matt wanted to get him to a detox in CA that he trusted. To get my son from the east coast to the west coast was challenging. He missed his first flight because he needed to buy heroin, not wanting to be in pain. We were able to get him on another flight that day, and Matt had someone waiting for him at the airport. It was a harrowing day, but Matt took care of all of the logistics and planning.
My son is now on the road to recovery. He actually likes the program, and after a few months, he is doing well. I worry less about him now that he is in the care of Tree House Recovery.

I have been battling addiction since my early twenties and thought that I had tried everything but always left treatment centers feeling like I should have gotten more or like I had more problems then before I got there. After leaving Hollywood Hills I feel the complete opposite. From the first time I spoke with Nick, who is one of the owners, I felt like they really cared about helping me. I am not from the area and they helped me get to the treatment center and i probably never would have made it if it hadn't been from that alone. From there I was greeted by smiles, hugs and encouraging amounts of love. The groups were fun and enlightening and not mundane and cookie cutter. It's like they someone actually put themselves in my shoes for once because I could feel the empathy and compassion from all of the staff and the other clients. I was given one on one therapy session by a licensed therapist and had the opportunity to look into my problems and past the obvious. My medical needs were attended to. If I wasn't in group and was going through something there was always someone there was always a qualified individual there that would listen to me or even watch a movie with me. I feel like me again and I would be lying if I said that I would feel that way even if I didn't go to Hollywood Hills Recovery. I cannot say enough good things about Windward Way! I had reached a point in my addiction where I was headed down a slippery slope toward losing it all. Through my higher power, my family was able to see I needed help and helped me get in touch with Windward Way. I didn't know anything about Rehab or treatment centers, but from talking to others they can be vastly different. Many putting profits and business over people and healing. Not Windward. Helpful, knowledgeable and most of all loving. There are too many techs to mention by name but each one was on par. The groups led by the facilitators were so helpful. Ken and his love for the big book, Kelly and her love of teaching us through art and inner peace, Chad and his ability to tell a story or set up a learning environment that draws you in intellectually. Tony is exceptional in just chopping it up, but always ensuring we left with a valuable tool. Otis and his ability to understand everyone in the room even given our vast age differences. Gerald and his desire to keep us involved in after care. My house manager Monica for truly listening to each housemates concerns, and I cannot forget my therapist Christina for all the insight she gave me into why I am they way I am. Antonio, the Executive Director, goes above and beyond for every client. When I called, he immediately sprang into action and secured my spot in treatment with unmatched drive and dedication. The therapeutic staff is exceptional—highly educated, knowledgeable, and deeply caring. Every group session provided real learning and takeaways that supported my growth.

I have been to a multitude of treatment centers in and outside of California, Avedis Recovery is by FAR the most caring, authentic, and helpful place I have ever been to. It is the ONLY place that I was able to stay sober during my entire time and where I was able to find the confidence in myself to stay sober and where I found real growth. They care. Every other treatment center it was very clear that the management and program directors were really only involved for the money. The program director at Avedis is not, he and all other staff GENUINELY CARE!! Usually at other places you never see the director but here you see him almost everyday, he is involved and genuinely cares about people here and their sobriety. With the help of Avedis Recovery I was able to gain a newfound confidence in myself, my family’s trust, my faith in God, and most of all a clear and sober mind. Anchored Tides is the place for you if you are considering changing you current status with addiction. I was accepted into this program during the worst time of my life, and they above and beyond to help me repair and regain things that had been lost in my addiction such as HOPE. I was treated kindly coming into dedicato had a couple rough steps moving forward at first but the team at Dedicato helped me move forward any anxiety and fear was stripped from me spending more and more time there, felt very welcomed and the staff was very welcoming. Everyone at Dedicato including the patients and staff all related to alot things I experienced in life and gave me the direction to keep me on a straight path. The one thing that I will carry with me throughout this entire process is that there is more things to life on the exterior then what we feel like doing on the interior. The highlight of my time here was all the activities and groups I would attend climbing mountains physical and mental, also working out activities in the gym they have learning how to balance my mind during the hardships where I wanted to give up but learned to not let myself break during that and the zoom meetings with Charles having stand of jokes as well as being serious on why I’m here, point is come here if your dying to see a light and hope and to feel understood as a person and be accepted for themselves.

Dedicato saved my life and the life of my unborn son... Because of the work and commitment they provided me i was able to obtain custody of all 3 of my kids. Today I am clean and sober and loving life. I never imagined my life would ever be like this. I am so grateful for the Marshalls when I was going through my toughest times they were there for me. Overall, I had a great experience here. The individual and group therapy was phenomenal and the therapists were so incredibly talented. Halle was my therapist and Juana was my case manager and I cannot say enough positive things about them both as all of my needs and wants were beyond met. Therapists Jen and Lauren were super helpful and knowledgeable. The food was also amazing (props to Chef Kelsey)!! Also, the techs Christine, Jess, and Yoli were THE BEST. All of my struggles were tackled and it was refreshing to have core issues addressed instead of just surface level things. I feel like a new person. The only thing that could really be improved is communication between staff and also staff and clients was subpar at times which seemed as though some important issues were not being handled. The techs seemed to be really understaffed at times which cause some hiccups. By far the best treatment program I’ve ever been to and with some operations adjustments this place would be remarkable. <3
