Going to Cottage Residential Center was the best decision I ever made. I tried to stop drinking on my own, but was powerless over alcohol, and unable to do it. I woke up one day and decided that I needed help, because I didn't know how to live without alcohol. I called and a kind lady answered, I was a wreck. She helped arrange my arrival. Immediately I felt welcomed and safe. The counselors were kind and never once did I feel ashamed, in fact it was the complete opposite I felt proud to be taking control of my live. This intervention put me on a clear path, when I left I had a plan on my next steps in recovery. I have been sober almost three years and I believe that this wouldn't have been possible without checking into Cottage Residential.

Clean date, 7/27/2017. This program worked for me after three attempts in other inpatient programs. If you're ready for recovery this is a great program that teaches you how to live life on a daily basis clean and sober after discharge.

CRC is an outstanding rehab I highly recommend. The compassionate staff and serene location, just two blocks from the ocean, provide an ideal setting for recovery. Santa Barbara’s strong recovery community is bolstered by CRC’s dedicated doctors and therapists, who deliver personalized care through counseling, 12-step meetings, and therapies like stress management. Unlike some newer sober living facilities that lack sufficient support, CRC offers comprehensive programs and a robust support. Lots of alum in long term sobriety.

The nurses are very helpful, kind and work hard. The doctors also do their job. I felt pampered and safe. The new medicine’s dosis is been helping me a lot.

Went here for 5 days 13 years ago. The treatment is good. It does the job. But if you want to stay sober you might benefit from doing some type of service or work helping others. That may keep you sober.

Mission Harbor was there for me when I needed the most help. I have healed mentally, grown emotionally & spiritually, realized my strength and areas for growth. I recommend "taking what you like and leaving the rest". It seems like people have a wide range of experiences here... I was not there for substance abuse. I found some groups very insightful while others were not for me. While I hate to say it, I found myself caught off guard in a community group setting. I think all of the staffs' intentions are honest and good, but like anything there will be politics and uncomfortable dynamics. You will grow here and find at least one person to be a support system while you work through the difficult parts.

They are so kind and helpful. They don’t let you slip through the cracks or go unnoticed. They support you all through the week and even on the weekends. They have the nicest most supportive staff. Could not say enough good things about mission harbor and their staff.

Always a good experience, bit of a wait time today, other patients apparently didn't get to their appointment on time which has a snowball effect on appointment times . This was possibly due to them not planning on rain and their sugar cars melted in rain lol.

This house saved my life. I paroled from a 6 year prison sentence with nothing but the cloths on my back. Newhouse gave me a scholarship, and the tools put myself in a position to succeed. I would definitely recommend!

Great organization. The director Scott Snowbarger has been a counselor for many years, is a professional and just generally a good human being. The houses are well appointed, nice and I especially like their large meeting spaces. One of the property's has a nice orchard with a large avacado Tree. Us girls try and pillfer their avacados when we go to the open meetings there. The structure of the program and the vibe is good!

Pretty much saved my life. I moved to Santa Barbara from Bakersfield looking for a sober living house and to be closer to my sponsor. I Googled and visited about 4 sober living places and after visiting several, New House 2 was the choice I was and still am happy I chose. It's a 12 step House where the really focus on sobriety. Working a program and getting a sponsor is something very important here. The food is great and the brotherhood is great as well. I've met alot after guys here that really make this alot easier then I thought. Don't get me wrong. I was a little nervous making the transition. But after a day or so, I'm very much pleased to say. New House 2 is my home.

I walked into this place of sobriety in January of 1995 and I heard the message of hope and love and care and sobriety and I felt like I was was home!

I live here and find that it’s a great place to live and have been clean and sober for 6 1/2 years now. All the staff are great and I enjoy being apart of the community here. This picture is when they brought a therapy mini micro horse named little star to the park near our residence.
