I walked into this center scared and unsure, and I walked out with real hope. From the first phone call, nobody rushed me or made me feel like a case number. The admissions team listened to what I needed and put together a plan around it, and every promise they made turned out to be true. The setting is beautiful, with comfortable private rooms, great food, and quiet spaces to think. But the place isn't what made the difference. The people did. My counselor never gave me canned answers. On my hardest day, when I wanted to leave, she sat with me and said, "You don't have to feel okay right now. You just have to stay for today." That meant more than any speech could have. The nurses checked in on me with patience and a kind word, even at 2 a.m. The staff remembered small details about me, like my family's names and what helped me calm down, and that made me feel seen as a person. They were professional without ever being cold. Therapy, medical care, and aftercare planning all felt organized and personal. I'm grateful to every person there. If you're considering treatment, I can't recommend this place enough.

I couldnt be more grateful for the whole staff at Altitude they treated me with so nuch care and gave me all the tools and needs for a better life. I couldn have chosen a better place to start a new journey in my life. Just when i tought had no chance at life they gave me reasons to not give up. I will always be appreciative of the whole experience i had with soundbath being the first time. Yoga as well and the great food 🍲 😱. Overall it gave me hope that i can be there for my daughter/son. My time at Elevation has made a bigger difference in my life than I can fully put into words. Coming here wasn’t easy, but I’ve learned so much about myself, independence, and how to take steps toward a healthier future. I’ve learned that I don’t have to figure everything out overnight, that asking for help isn’t a weakness, and that I can love the people in my life while learning to trust myself and stand on my own. I’m still a work in progress, but I’m leaving with a better understanding of myself and the tools to keep growing. One thing I didn’t expect to be such a big part of my healing was the food! It was genuinely spectacular, and having balanced meals helped me realize how much nutrition can affect your mental health. I struggled with eating before coming here, and Chef Jerry and Chef Stella were always so kind and gently encouraged me to eat, even when I didn’t feel like it. They never made me feel ashamed, and their encouragement helped me more than they probably realize. The staff also made my experience so special. Everyone was incredibly friendly and never made me feel like an inconvenience, no matter what I asked for or if I was the only one who wanted to do something. Val, thank you for always going on walks with me whenever I asked. Manpreet, thank you for your kindness and for always advocating for me. Melissa, thank you for bonding with me over kitties and being such a beautiful soul and light. You made my time here extra special. Jeremy, thank you for helping me with my discharge and figuring out my next steps so I wouldn’t feel abandoned or lost after leaving. I also appreciate how you joked around with me and helped things feel less serious when I needed that. You all made a difference in my experience, and I’ll always be grateful. Michele, my therapist, deserves a special thank you, too. Your straightforward, honest, and relatable approach was exactly what I needed. You challenged me while still making me feel heard and understood. You’ve helped me become more independent, recognize my own potential, and understand that I can build a life of my own. Before I begin writing this review, I would like to let whoever is reading this know that you are already taking the necessary steps to create a better way of life and healthier way of thinking. I needed help in my life and Elevation Behavioral Health provided the care and tools I was in search for. Starting from the admissions process until my final day, the Elevation staff went above and beyond. Stephanie, was in charge of my admissions, which she made seamless. Stephanie responded to all my emails and phone calls in a timely fashion and with great care. At the Calabasas house, I had the privilege to have Michele as my therapist. I owe her my life with how attentive and caring she was for me. Michele was compassionate, funny, and direct - something I needed. I could go on and on about how great of a therapist she was for me, but I do not know if there would be enough characters for me to write a review. Thank you Michele. The coaches and chefs, all of whom were therapists within their own right, were fantastic. In a place where you already feeling vulnerable they made it feel like home. Friendly, compassionate, and wonderful human beings overall is not enough to say about them. (Again, worried about the character limit here.) I want to thank them all and would give them all a gold stars if I could. If you do end up in the Calabasas house, I have left a letter for you, the client, to read, from one friend to another. You got this. You're right where you need to be. Most of all, you're making the correct and best decision by coming to Elevation.

From top to bottom this place was wonderful. Giving me the tools and education I needed to begin my sober journey. The staff was top of the line the groups were diverse and engaging and the therapy I received in a short time really helped me discover some of the truth of my addiction. I'd recommend this place to anyone who looking to clean and sober and live their best life. Thank you Iris, techs, therapists, and facilitators and cooks!!
