Genesis has played a pivotal role in creating a safe and supportive environment for my sister to get the help she needed. It is through this program that I have witnessed her true core values start to realign and her willingness to rededicate herself in discovering her true and authentic self without the use of substances.
From the friendly front desk coordinator, to the empathetic counselors, and staff I can't say enough good things about this program.
The psycho-educational groups, family nights, and other counseling services that were provided held her accountable and increased her insight into something she has been struggling with for a long time.

Genesis is a great option for individuals who need an outpatient program to integrate into after residential treatment, if you’re struggling with alcohol/drug misuse, or you are substance dependent and would benefit from structure and accountability.
Their program uses best based practices and they do a great job at tailoring treatment plans to an individuals own unique and personal needs. The individual and group counseling were always super helpful and the staff truly want to see you succeed. They offer a friends and family night which was very critical in re establishing trust and ongoing support from those close to you in your life.
In addition, they have a strong after care community in which you are encouraged to be apart of after completing treatment.
If you have the pleasure of conversing with the owner Athena, be sure to pick her brain as she is very knowledgeable in the field of treatment and addiction. It is from my experience she is attentive and does an appreciable job at reflecting meaning within her conversations. Her superb counseling skills and expertise in the field really motivate her clients to find it within themselves to make positive steps towards change. She has helped me overcome a variety of struggles in life and has been instrumental in my ongoing journey.
Through out my time at Genesis, it is clear that Athena and her team are people who truly care about the individuals and families they serve and are dedicated to making the community a healthier and safer place.

This is literally the best hospital I’ve ever been to the nurses are all amazing. The doctor is amazing and I honestly didn’t even wanna leave but I had to because of a family emergency but they definitely take care of you.

I cannot thank this hospital enough! <3 so much love for everyone here! The view is gorgeous as well! Multiple groups a day. Food was top tier for a hospital, or just in general haha. Definitely going to miss Dr. Ackerman. Take advantage of the help you receive instead of rushing the process! That’s the main advice.

The length they will go to ensure someone's success is unrivaled, trust me if you want to heal and get right come here and just try it. I'm 30 years old now addicted for 11years half that time incarcerated and since I came here my life is so much better it sometimes feels not real and the thing is it's only getting better and better. Where do I start I'm gonna start first off for everyone that's bin on this incredible journey with me thank you so much for changing my life this is the first time in a program first time I ever bin sober in my life I wanted to be sober for so many years I just didn't know how living in hawaii monarch opened that door I bin looking for I can't thank you guys enough you guys gave me hope showed me so much love in words I can't explain I started over moving here you guys helped me shape into the man I know I can be gave me hope when nobody did I have so many people cheering for me and proud of me now it's crazy I never felt better monarch helps me with everything I needed to deal with I'm currently in a sober living right now working at majestic theatre as a security guard I was on the streets on drugs drinking everyday for over a decade all thanks to monarch and myself for putting in the work my plan is to start a new life here and be a member of society I wanted to live a normal life for so long staying sober I'm slowly gaining back everything and everyone I lost being in my addiction thank everyone from monarch for everything you have done for me I'm ready for this next chapter of my life my book ain't done yet lets gooooo.

Monarch Recovery deserves 10 stars!! Monarch Recovery takes to heart the recovery process for my adult child, and tailoring the process to fit his program needs. From the moment we had contact with Scotty Roberts (Admissions Director), to Melissa Szul (Case Manager) and our son’s guardian Angel, Bob Dore, they take time to understand and get know our son as an individual with sincere and genuine invested interest in seeing recovery process be the ultimate successful. At the end of the day, every parent going through this, wants their child in a safe place where the whole person is respected regardless of their situation. The environment and program comes from a positive orientation focusing on healing, accepting accountability, and teaching a life of being substance free at every level. If you are a parent or a love one in need of a program, I can’t highly recommend Monarch Recovery enough and without any reservations.

Point Break Recovery is a great facility. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects of addiction. The daily groups discuss dealing with addiction and mental health. Yoga on MWF is great with Nathan. Gym with Kevin was helpful for my mind. Food is catered daily. LG and Beth were easy to talk too. The techs Skyler, Jay Jay, Brandy, Luis and Damian were all helpful with groups and personal talks. Some other activities in walking and the beach and some hikes. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for help in life when life gets unmanageable.

It was my first time going into treatment and I was scared to fly to California. I'm happy I made the decision to trust Enlight with my safety and wellbeing. These people really know how to change lives, speaking from experience. I was battling with alcohol, drugs and mental health issues that I was never able to address. I was scared that my job was going to penalize me but the team worked well with my employer so that I can really take my time and focus on my recovery. This was the best decision I have ever made. As I sit here, dead of winter in Upstate New York. I appreciate the time I spent at Enlight Treatment center. This is usually the time I would look for something to lift my mood. Depression gets the best of me and I spiral. I was able to really open up there. I was able to unload and place a lot of my unresolved feelings aside. They really have wonderful people there. If you're serious about getting rid of whatever it is you need to get rid of.. I would absolutely go! The food wasn't too bad either😘

The staff at the front desk, nurses, counselors and the physician assistant (Jimmy)- all of have been so supportive and professional. I am so grateful for this program, it’s saved my life. This treatment is highly misunderstood and undervalued. Methadone maintenance gave my children a mother, my parents; a daughter and my employer; a trusted employee.
I transferred over to Aegis from another “local” clinic- the difference between the two is (sadly) unbelievable. *If only every company was managed like Aegis…

I went to Evolve Ojai back in February of this year. I had never been in a residential treatment center and I was really nervous, however I did go voluntarily. My experience wasn’t terrible. There were pros and cons for sure, these were:
Pros:
Really good food
Outings were fun
If you were level 3 and above, you could go on off site visitations with your family
Cons:
Leveled me down on my last week while I had been withdrawing from two meds (Abilify and Zoloft)
Made me sit through an intense PTSD flashback and didn’t let me do anything to distract myself (it was to practice a skill, but i really needed help and i felt very distressed)
Tried to punish me and make me stay an extra week for feeling suicidal after leveling me down
Didn’t really do much when another kid was making me feel uncomfortable by making me feel overstimulated
But it was not a very bad experience. I’ve been to two residential treatment centers (both evolve) and this one was definitely the best one I’ve been to.

This place helped me get off Xanax . I was on it for 11 years. I was able to do a 32 day taper using kolonopin here . It really wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gonna be , not easy but not as bad an experience as I had heard about. It kind of feels like a hotel and the experience feels like school , the staff is very nice and accommodating here .

There are no words to describe the gratitude I have for this place, not only did they help my kids father get sober but I owe this place my life for saving me when I saw no way out of a hopeless state of mind I walked into VRC a broken lost and scared girl & I completed the program a woman who can hold her head up with integrity and dignity, the staff not only loved me until I could love myself again but they held my hand through many situations I didn’t think I could face, if your looking for real sobriety, amazing care, and to feel like your home this is your place, it wasn’t always easy and fun but what I learned here is that I never have to face life alone again, and god forbid I had to go back to rehab I would come back here with out a doubt!! My therapist and case manager were incredible advocates who tailored everything to my needs, while the group facilitators and technicians provided a consistent, supportive environment daily. I spent the entire year of 2013 at Bethel House. The best decision of my life. After graduating, I didn't want to leave. LOL! I have never met such amazing people,the staff was so loving, supportive and selfless. I would recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with addiction. I also was fortunate to volunteer at the homeless program. I can never thank them enough for helping me get my life back

CRC is an outstanding rehab I highly recommend. The compassionate staff and serene location, just two blocks from the ocean, provide an ideal setting for recovery. Santa Barbara’s strong recovery community is bolstered by CRC’s dedicated doctors and therapists, who deliver personalized care through counseling, 12-step meetings, and therapies like stress management. Unlike some newer sober living facilities that lack sufficient support, CRC offers comprehensive programs and a robust support. Lots of alum in long term sobriety.

Let me be perfectly honest with this place. It’s the most beautiful and amazing place to get sober. I came here from 5Bath. My experience came in twofold first I was shunned by a bunch of patients who came in together. I didn’t care because about their issues. They were kicked out because of drugs. This place has saved my life with the most knowledgeable and caring staff. So don’t listen to people who were kicked out for not keeping this place safe. Please trust in what I am telling you. I was placed there through a court-related situation, and I appreciated being there rather than in a juvenile detention setting. During my time, the staff were supportive and maintained a calm and structured environment.
One of the most meaningful parts of my experience was the connections I built with both staff and peers. I developed positive relationships and shared good memories with the people there in a supportive setting.
Overall, I am grateful for my time there and the experiences I had in that environment.
