I went here briefly from 2011 - 2012 & it saved me then. I unfortunately relapsed multiple times & went in & out of inpatient rehabs for years. In 2018 I decided to give Aegis another go. I am now coming up on SIX YEARS CLEAN in October thanks to this program helping to o keep my arse in line.

My 12 year old son stayed at Beachside for two months in the spring and we brought home a changed child. After struggling with some significant trauma, the counselors that worked with my son were truly wonderful. The weekend activities were excellent including boating and trips to amusement parks. During the week, he learned to surf, completed his school curriculum so that he could graduate from his regular education elementary school, and took hikes at beautiful locations around Malibu. He loved the food, and participated in group and music therapy as well as individual counseling. We spoke on the phone most nights and had great weekend visits. My son is now a thriving 7th grader, enjoying school and close relationships with his friends. I would encourage anyone struggling to give your child the gift of this healing environment.

Our daughter had been prescribed a strong medication after she was hurt during gymnastics practice. We never expected it to lead to an addiction. We’re so grateful to the staff of Beachside for helping her when we could not.

Ventura recovery center is where it’s at! It taught me discipline, structure, and that I have support everywhere through A.A. acceptance is the key to recovery and one day at a time ! I’ve been to many rehabs in the passed and this is the best one… the owner, staff and therapists go above and beyond for you and more. Treat you like family. Highly recommend to someone who is struggling and suffering due to addiction. “Anything is possible through A.A.”

I have 18 month clean and my fiancé has 19 months clean all because of this place. I have a life today and I couldn’t dream of 1 day clean before this for the past 20 years. The staff is so caring and everybody was amazing. I can’t say enough positive things about this place.

I’ve been to luxury treatment centers but Oak Forest is the only place that’s worked for me. It’s a no-nonsense step-based recovery that gave me the tools I needed to sit in my discomfort. The camaraderie you achieve with fellow alcoholics won’t be found elsewhere. The staff is all licensed and the best in the business (most if not all are actually in recovery themselves).. Don’t do drugs, but if you do and you want to be one-and-done with treatment, Oak Forest is your best bet.

I spent most of My early 20s in jail and rehab until I came to Oak Forest they equipped me with the tools to live a successful life in recovery. They were very upfront with me and told me if I did not change 100% of everything in my life I probably wasn’t going to have a very long life expectancy!! I can’t say enough great things about Oak Forrest Recovery. Their program was absolutely amazing, and every single staff member invested in my daughter’s well-being with the care and compassion a mother could only hope for. We’ve been through seven different facilities, and OFR went above and beyond in ways I never thought possible. What impressed me most was their holistic support. Yes, she was ready to work the steps—but OFR met her at every level: emotional, spiritual, and practical. They expertly helped her work through her addiction to fentanyl, which is really tough to find programs equipped to support. I took a trip to visit her and attended their Thursday night bonfire meeting, where a special guest speaker and alumni shared their powerful recovery stories—seeing the staff interact so genuinely with everyone was incredibly moving. They also provided weekly Zoom family meetings where I met with my daughter and family counselor. She’s a young adult, and they truly encourage family involvement. They also have a strong recovery community in the area where they all stay connected and encourage one another. That peer-to-peer support and connection is incredibly important throughout the life of recovery. The sense of community at OFR is real. Staff interact with warmth and respect, alumni stay connected to give back, and clients leave equipped not just for sobriety, but for life beyond the program. This place changed and SAVED my life. It gave me a safe space to heal and provided trustworthy caregivers, doctors and therapists to give me guidance into sobriety and emotional healing. I am 4 months and 24 days clean from drugs and alcohol and I would recommend The Pointe to everyone and anyone. Your loved one or yourself will be taken care of here and it’s so worth it. I have been to other treatment centers in my first bout of trying to get sober in 2020 and The Pointe goes above and beyond. I’m at a completely different mindset and although getting sober is hard work, I truly think The Pointe not only is a beautiful and sacred place to get sober in but every single person went above and beyond to care about me and teach me so many tools to have the open and sober mindset I have now. This place goes above and beyond for its clients. Let’s just say I’ve been there more than once on my road to recovery. The staff have become my second family. They have an alumni person that’s reaches out to clients to follow up after treatment and I call her my guardian angel. Revive was a great experience. The first week was rough for myself but after finding a balance within myself and being able to attend groups I was able to acquire the tools I needed to maintain my sobriety.

Revive is the only treatment/detox in LA that I can honestly say I trust whole heartedly. Having people who genuinely care about your wellbeing and safety makes a hard experience just a little easier. Thank you to all the staff, you guys are amazing.
