Where do I begin Before I came to Elevate I thought I had reached rock bottom in life but shortly after coming here I realized they saved me from ever getting there. I came for an alcohol addiction which became a secondary objective to my stay. I learned to love myself and gained confidence in being me. I found a way to finally be happy in life, in the current moment without contingencies. To know I was never broken and that I have more control over my perspective than I ever thought was possible. My sobriety came as a byproduct of discovering my own self worth and I often lay awake at night filled with gratitude for having the opportunity to go through this program. The amount of understanding and support offered to me was outstanding and I felt as if I was amongst family. The care and love from the staff inspires the clients to care for each other in the same fashion. If at any point you need a shoulder to lean on or just someone to listen, every face you see is there for you. I can t find the words to formulate a sentence that will truly express my thanks and love for Elevate. All I can do is let others know if your suffering and need the help, this is where you will find it.

I am so grateful for the founders and all the staff at Elevate. From the very first introduction to the incredible program they have to offer throughout the entire time my loved one spent there, we were kept informed and encouraged. The setting is lovely, the commitment to helping each person succeed and get thru the hard things and the amazing food they serve as a part of the healing process. I really can't say enough good things about this program, staff and facility. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and may God bless all of you and keep you going strong for many others to reclaim the lives they were meant to live!

I cannot thank this recovery program enough for the impact it's had on my life. It has been my rock, my greatest source of support, and the foundation of my journey to healing and growth. The program provided me with structure when I needed it most, guiding me step by step toward a brighter future.Through its compassionate and empowering approach, I found the confidence I thought I'd lost. It showed me how to rebuild myself from within and, most importantly, how to love myself again. This program is more than just a resource; it's a life-changing experience that has helped me rediscover my strength and worth. To anyone considering this program it's a gift you can give yourself, one that has the power to transform your life, just as it did mine.

Being there for detox and recovery has completely changed my life! I can't say enough good things about the medical staff, and the counselors! I was there for 38 days. I went in as a broken person and came out a new man. My counselor Jake was amazing and helped me in many ways. The chef there makes every meal amazing. On the administration side of things Janet was super helpful to me and my Wife. The Saturday family meetings/visits were very beneficial for us. If you in need of a place for inpatient recovery this is a great place to go.

Summit Estates has been a lifesaver for my family. I would describe the staff, counseling services, patient commitment and facility with every superlative term in the dictionary. Our family member received inpatient treatment, PHP and IOP through Summit over the course of a year, and we owe Summit a huge debt of gratitude. The staff members are outstanding: Roshin, Judy, Jon, Annee, to name a few. Addiction is a terrible, lonely disease, and the bright spot has been availing ourselves of the support, tools and community offered by Summit. I would highly recommend Summit and wish that anyone suffering from addiction could be treated by the exceptional professionals at Summit.

At their location on North Morrison Avenue, they focus on residential and outpatient care. Support Systems Homes i | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This is my third rehab experience and I stayed 6 weeks. I was very grateful to be able to get a bed quickly (the very next day). The staff was helpful and kind, but of course they are humans too. The main counselor was very helpful and intuitive - she was able to pinpoint what some of my personal issues to focus on were. Overall, I would recommend this facility to anyone who is serious about working on themselves. Other facilities might have more amenities, more people, etc. but I found that having less external distractions helped me get a lot more out of my time here.Update 3 years later: still doing well, and still using the knowledge I gained here.

I had been losing my battle with recovery for almost fifteen years when Wellness Retreat was recommended to me. I came here severely addicted and further traumatized by what I put myself and my family through. I needed a place where I would be treated with dignity, individually recognized for what has been ailing me and personally encouraged. This what I found here, and with a genuine compassion I have never seen or felt as an addict. There is an exceptional quality here, from checkng-in through medical treatment, group processing, education, abundance of nutrition, therapy excercise, wellness and technical assistance. With a maximum of five other clients to go through the recovery process with, the Directors of the program and even the CEO rolled up their sleeves personally caring for my recovery process. For the first time in my life since I was introduced to substances I don't hate life without them. It has been almost five months since I left wellness Retreat and I still go back on Monday afternoons to join the dance classes that gave me so much hope and happiness when I was feeling so low and dark in the beginning. This is more than a Rehab, this is a Wellness Center. If you want a life worth living without drugs and alcohol, start here.

Using the VA hospital system in any city, state is not the same. I had to move around to couch surf and homeless for over ten years ending up in states between California and Florida including Washington and Utah. I have had to restart everything over every time I moved and I learned a few things over those 10 years about doctor appointments and different appointments for eyes and blood work so let me begin by saying that if you show up at 10 am and it's not busy or 1 pm and it's a mad house, either way just tell them that you are using the VA transportation and you are on a scheduled pickup and they usually move you through pretty quickly.I can't say it's foolproof but it's a little bit of an edge for those complaining about long waiting for blood work. Just remember, don't set the bar too high of expectation, you get what you pay for, and if you don't like the VA then just pay for private health care.Oh, they get complaints but nothing like the VA hospital system.

This 5 star review is long overdue, and it goes out to Myrna Horton and everyone else in the business office at the Gourley outpatient clinic in Marina. They have always been there for me, especially Myrna, who has answered all of my questions and assisted me and many other veterans in an effort to help us in any way that she possibly can to the very best of her ability. Her dedication to helping veterans with their VA needs is evident in every interaction. Myrna Horton is a good person. The VA and all of us veterans are fortunate to have her. The VA is not just about doctors and nurses. Where would they be and where would we be without people like Myrna and all of the people in the business office? They owe me no thanks for my service. It's me that owes them a heartfelt thank you for their service to all veterans.

I can t speak for inpatient, but outpatient truly saved my life.I admitted into the SJBH Outpatient (PHP/IOP) program in September of 2024. The typical length of stay for this program is around 8 weeks, but unlike other programs I ve been in, they re not in a rush to get you out, they want you to get help and get back on your feet. The staff in the Outpatient Department truly cares about their patients well being. There are several psycho education groups throughout the day to teach coping skills and when and how to apply them to day to day events, you see a psychiatrist either once a week (PHP) or every other week (IOP), and have availability to meet with a therapist in case of a crisis.I came into this program after being inpatient at another hospital and was referred to SJBH. I truly don t think that I would be where I am today without the help of the outpatient team. Thank you Navi, Nashin, Krystal, My An, Calvin, Lexy, Shanon and Christina, and Dr Serna for helping me get my life back in my control. I will five ever be grateful for you all!

Janus Rehab Center has been a life-changing place for my close friend, and I can t say enough good things about the incredible care they received. My friend often talked about how much they appreciated the positive atmosphere and how the staff and other participants helped them feel part of a community. It was heartwarming to see them regain their confidence and discover their strength. Thanks to Janus, my friend is happier, healthier, and more hopeful than I ve seen them in years. I m beyond grateful for everything Janus has done for them. I don t often write reviews, but I can see how much this program helped them become the person they want to be in this life.

I had a serious mental health crisis a couple of years ago and needed help putting the pieces back together. I found it in Embodied Recovery, as well as understanding, support and a safe, therapeutic environment where I could to begin to sift through the emotional fallout. The holistic approach and unique blend of programming that Mike and Greg have so lovingly curated was instrumental in setting me down on a path to recovery. Happily, I still engage with them and my cohorts (now friends) that I met during my time there. I will always be grateful to them, I needed a safe place to land and they provided that and so much more.

Specialized services are available for individuals, families, and groups, as well a | Treatments Programs Payment Options | It's been over 20ys since I participated in this program through the nudge of a judge. My last name was different. My life had spiraled into turmoil and utter caios. I hit rock bottom so hard I was spiritually, emotionally, and psychologically broken. Honestly I wished I would die than live another day. At first I didn't want to be there. I did participate in the program several times. I still remember my house managers name, Sharron. I definitely didn't leave as a night in shinning armor. The reality is I dabbled once or twice a yr. More importantly whenever I did I felt guilty, dirty, remorseful, and imberrased. Life hasn't been a beautiful boutique of roses but I am definitely proud of who I am, the challenges I've over come, and the abilities that were given to me through Support Systems Homes. Thank you for caring. Thank you for not judging. Thank you for teaching me structure in such a subtle way. I am alive, happy, and a functional part of society because of this program.

Support systems homes will know me by my maiden name, but i was there a couple times years back. It took more than one go for me to get it , but here s the good news: when i left, and relapsed, it only took me one month to be begging to go back to support systems. And they welcomed me with love. The second time, i knew I needed additional support, and i lived at their SLE. My mom got a ton of education and support from the family program and got linked in to al-anon, which we now attend together. Addiction is truly a family disease, and we both had a lot to learn. Today, i have ten years sober, i am married to someone who treats me the way I deserve, and we have two beautiful children, who i am 100% present for. I am also a registered nurse and i work in psychiatry, where i meet and try to help addicts like me every day. Support systems nourished me- literally, with incredible food, and spiritually, with unconditional understanding, patience, and support. Ten years later, i look at pictures of the facility and truly miss it! I still consider it my home away from home, the safest place I ve ever known, and the safest i have ever felt. I came in completely destroyed and beaten, and i got to be completely safe and somewhere that would protect and help me.

This was our very first "visit" to ECH - and we were highly impressed and very grateful for such professional and attentive care. Every single Dr and Nurse were - no pun intended - off the charts. Very cordial and very smart. Everything was flawless and thorough. Loved the fact Dr Yao (sp ?) found me in the waiting room and gave me a post op update. He is a really Great Doctor.
