Thank you for giving my loved one a second chance at being the best man he can be for his family. Your facility and staff surpassed all of our expectations. Every time I would call I was greeted by a friendly voice on the other end of the line with a very detailed report of how he was doing. You can rest assured your loved one will be taken care of and you will have peace of mind that they are getting the best care possible. He was given the tools to help him be successful when returning home.

Before putting myself into a 30-Day Intensive Inpatient Program at Bright Future Recovery (BFR), I was a lost, hopeless soul addicted to alcohol. After 32 years of heavy, heavy drinking, I had finally hit my rock bottom, and I felt that I was quickly on my way to drinking myself to death. Upon arriving at BFR, I was greeted with open, caring and loving arms, and my path towards recovery from alcohol addiction began. BFR Staff--Darlene, Amanda, Larissa, Danae, "Mama D," Grammy, Papa, Chef Carlo, Mariah, Rachel, and I am sure I am forgetting a few names at the moment--all of them treated me like Family, and I came to look at them as Family. Each and every staff member played a critical role in my recovery program--a 10-day detox followed by a 20-day residential stay. The treatment center at 1000 Fairview Road in Hollister, CA, is a beautiful ranch style home in the middle of beautiful, rural Hollister. With fresh, clean air, rolling hills, mountain views, your path to recovery begins in a beautiful house with large rooms, plenty of natural sunlight coming through windows galore. The bedrooms, and living spaces are very roomy and comfortable, filled with comfy beds and furniture.I cannot say enough positive things about my time at BFR. 53 days sober now, thanks solely to the tools and resources I learned about at BFR, and now an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous, I was once so lost, living in the deepest throws of alcoholism, once not wanting to wake up anymore, BFR helped me find my way. Thanks to Bright Future Recovery, I was lost, but now I am found.

Dr. Olsen is literally a godsend she's one of the best doctors I have ever had. I am so grateful for her. I've had so many terrible experiences with doctors dismissing me in the past but Dr. Olsen is so nice, understanding, and a good listener. We are so lucky to have her here. I love the online scheduling and virtual appointment options too.

I am another Michael Johnson and my review is exactly opposite.I ve always had great care from my primary doctor, optometrist, lab, x-ray, PT,. All the doctors and assistants were friendly and helpful. Haven t had to go to Palo Alto too often because I was able to get referrals to local doctors except for cardiologist. Haven t had any problems getting appointments. Sometimes you have to hold on the phone for awhile but try later in the week. I m more than satisfied

This 5 star review is long overdue, and it goes out to Myrna Horton and everyone else in the business office at the Gourley outpatient clinic in Marina. They have always been there for me, especially Myrna, who has answered all of my questions and assisted me and many other veterans in an effort to help us in any way that she possibly can to the very best of her ability. Her dedication to helping veterans with their VA needs is evident in every interaction. Myrna Horton is a good person. The VA and all of us veterans are fortunate to have her. The VA is not just about doctors and nurses. Where would they be and where would we be without people like Myrna and all of the people in the business office? They owe me no thanks for my service. It's me that owes them a heartfelt thank you for their service to all veterans.

Alsana is located in Monterey, California. As a clinician I can highly recommend Alsana. This review is for the Alsana in Monterey, CA, however my review of their programing can be applied to the other locations as well. What really struck me about this program is the attention to each individual client and their intention to "bring as much of home" into the program as possible. The program highly focuses on clients relations( relation to self, to others, to their culture, their spirituality) and works at tailoring healing through the lens of these relationships. They also focus on healthy relation to movement, which I think is a really great aspect of the program. And in regards to the Monterey location, it is in such a beautiful spot. Just the access to nature can help support in recovery. I am often recommending Alsana to my clients, and wanted to leave this review as a recommendation for anyone looking!

Genesis House is an Excellent Recovery Center. It sits perched on a hill in Seaside overlooking the gorgeous Monterey Bay. They have very caring professional counselors who help navigate you toward a new start. One thing that is certain, you will get the tools you need but the key is to use them! One will get as much as one puts in. It could be easy to breeze thru this program but unless you are willing to delve in deep you won't get much out of it. The food is wonderful. The social model creates an atmosphere of team work. There aren't any dogmas or ideologies that are forced on one. It is a great place to launch your sobriety!

I can t say enough great things about Terresa at ASI Counseling. While the program has room for improvement, Terresa is an absolute standout. She is one of the most caring, dedicated, and effective counselors I ve ever worked with. From the moment she starts, you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients growth and well-being. Terresa doesn t just teach she connects. She has a rare ability to explain complex concepts, like the cycle of violence, in a way that s both impactful and easy to understand. Her insights have opened so many eyes in our group, and her approach made learning quick and effective. Terresa is the kind of professional every program needs, and because of her, I m giving ASI a well-deserved 5-star rating. Truly appreciate everything she s done for us!
