Always made me feel welcome and part of a family. UPDATE 5 yrs later and Jarra will still answer her phone and help me, talk and remind me about the good qualities that I have.( 4 months later update) So this is my update October 2024 my daughter is at Resonance after she got out of prison and she loves it and is so proud of herself that I talked her into it so. This is the most WONDERFUL staff and place. Definitely a place that makes you feel welcomed and at home. The staff is AMAZING. Always willing to work with you in every aspect and not to mention how they make you feel like family and @ home. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I am so incredibly grateful for the CALM Center. I recently was impatient here and it truly changed my perspective on how I want to live out the rest of my life. I’ve struggled with my mental health for years and have been in and out facilities but let me tell you, the CALM center in the only one who had left an impact on me. If you or someone you love is going impatient please know that they are in safe hands and that they’ll feel truly loved and cared for while they are there.
Shout out to Ms. Tabitha, Mr. Scott, and Mr. Jimmy for making the days feel less hard. You can tell they truly have a care for mental health and love their job. Also both therapists are amazing but Mr Spencer is one of the best therapist I’ve ever had. He showed me that their is more to life then what’s going on around me, and genuinely gave me hope for the future.
I’ll forever be grateful for the Calm Center and the people who run it. ♥️

It was amazing the food is amazing the stuff for amazing like literally everything about it is amazing except for the beds the beds are a little bit uncomfortable but other than that it's amazing and it's also really short term which I like about that it's only 7 days which is actually not that bad so yeah the doctor really helpful the therapist really helpful everything's really helpful

I have been coming to this treatment center for several years. I am in their medication assisted opioid treatment program.
I haven't always received great care here. Things happen. But considering the many years I have going to them, the ratio is very low. The director, Angela, has been kind and sympathetic whenever I need something outside the box. Angela has went the extra mile to assist me at every turn. The various addiction councilors I have had treated me like a real person who deserves basic respect. This is a unique quality to have with addiction issues. My current counselor, Garrett, has always been great.

Even though I was there for 2 hours, a lot had to be done. Every employee I dealt with was courteous and friendly. I believe that they have it together now. I don't like to wait as long as I do sometimes just for a routine shot, but most of the time it goes fairly quick. I was having issue with my leg and they did an x-ray and ultrasound. Turns out I have a large Bakers cysts. Only thing was when they called to tell me I didn't have a blood clot, they never mentioned the cysts. It was in my PHR, but I gave them a few days. I finally called and went to same day clinic. It was almost like it didn't all upload to their system. Because I had to show it to the report to them from my phone. They couldn't do anything about it. Getting a referral to see an orthopedic. They gave me prednisone to help reduce the swelling.
They have improved on many things, but the appointment wait time is ridiculous for some departments. They try to accommodate, but there is a lot more people going there.

I thank you for having a State Funded way to give people psychiatric drugs. When I was a kid I couldn't be trusted with things like Health Insurance. You guys gave my Wife and I pills that wouldn't have been feasible because we were just starting out. Your behavioral health doctors kept me in check where I didn't buy anything illegal all through my 20s. At a certain point I needed amphetamine to quit smoking. Especially for my Wife. When I first met her she had contributed less than 50 bucks to SSI. We lived together for 7 years before we got married. The whole time I did a Pharmacy Tech diploma through school I got zyprexa, lithium, and ambien here. Ambien made me loose control. At this point I can say I would have stayed out of trouble so much better if at that point in my life if my Dad trusted with money to go to a Pharmacy and buy something like zquil w/ acetaminophen.

I have been a patient with Laureate since 2020. Miss Shelly was an amazing, understanding therapist who really helped me work through childhood and family related PTSD. I saw Jason Hart for EMDR therapy for about 6 months, which also helped me work through my conditon. I went back to Shelly after EMDR and opted for inpatient treatment in April 2025. Their inpatient program was great! Yes, inpatient kinda sucks, especially having to give up your daily routines, phone and activities, HOWEVER, their staff did a great job in both group and individual therapy session, their food is the same stuff from the hospital, so nothing fancy, but it is food. Being inpatient, and doing group really helped me reset when I was experiencing a mental health crisis. After my stay, I moved to their Intensive Outpatient Program, which again, was incredibly helpful and informative! I learned so much about mental health and the brain! I met some wonderful people in there and came out a better person!
After IOP, i moved to miss Cassie for continued care until she left this year. She was really great about helping me maintain my daily routines, take my medications and reminding me of the tasks i DO accomplish when i felt like i was failing.
I know psychiatric hospitals get a bad wrap, especially in Tulsa, but as someone who has been both a patient and worked EMS and transported patients to and from here, they really do a great job at making sure their patients get the help they need.
Big shout out to everyone who has helped me over the last 6 years!

This placed literally saved my life. I had been rapidly declining and was on the verge of completely breaking when I learned of Laureate. I walked into the building and told them I was there seeking help and they were kind from minute one. From intake with Diego and Anthony to being taken over to the senior area (MacDonald 2, I think?) everyone was professional, very kind and caring. Dr. O'Meilia was an absolute blessing. He listened, he cared, he understood and he helped me find my way back. I stayed five days and had follow-up via outpatient that started quickly after inpatient discharge. Everyone there has been kind and supportive. I've returned to work (very light schedule) and am feeling well again and I attribute all of this to Laureate, Dr. O'Meilia, Dr. Lawrence, the patient technicians who were so incredibly helpful, patient and kind. Thank you to everyone for all the kindness and care.

I want to point something out. I was in this boys home for four years. Those were the best years of my life. I had very tough times but the staff stuck with me and helped me out. I’m seeing a lot of bad reviews that don’t make sense to the boys home that I know. There is one that kicks the side of me like a truck, it’s the review about Rylan Harris. I personally knew this young man and he took it upon himself to break the rules and put himself in harms way. Unfortunately he passed. I know of some other kids that the same thing happened to and I could’ve been one of them cause I would run away. Kids aren’t running away cause this place is abusive like you people want to claim. They are running away because they don’t like the authority above them. Now may God bless those families who lost someone, some little boy that was in some sort of accident. But don’t blame the staff. The staff do everything they can and have rules and policies preventing things that I know for a fact they follow. They don’t like some of them but in order to keep the job that continues helping young men they have to. This place is not a bad place. I stuck out four years here. I got out three years ago and since then I’ve bought several of my own cars, kept a good paying job, and pay my own bills. I’m 20 years old. DO NOT BLAME THE STAFF. If a staff member did something wrong I have full belief and trust in the management taking action. And if this isn’t enough to stop all the hate sending these people’s way than all of you are no better than who you say they are

I have to say that everyone I have encountered has been amazing, even at preop, I had an appointment I after that and had about 35 minutes to go and they still had to draw blood, do an EKG, and all the trimmings, and my rheumatologist appointment was about 8 miles away and construction everywhere, my preop nurse come on, we are going to get you through and on your way, she did, and I had about 20 minutes to get there from downtown and all I can say is God and his angels did their work, from the hospital staff to the traffic, God got me there on time down to check in…I toot the horn for all the wonderful people..

Some of these other reviews seem very misleading. It is my understanding that this hospital shares a name with the hospital in a video game? So that’s why some of the pictures on reviews are a video game characters. Regardless, it is my understanding. Also that Brookhaven no longer has a ward for just drug use or mental health. All patients have brain injuries. Our nephew was at Brookhaven for several months getting treatment for his brain injury and struggles with acting out and my family has nothing but the best to say about their care. His therapist called us regularly and listened to what we had to say and his treatment really worked. He’s not living somewhat independently with no problems and appreciate medicine. I think some of these very old reviews need to be taken down

Absolutely love this place and the staff that I've talked to. My therapist and prss are freaking amazing people. I've never had any bad days there. Every meeting I've had has left me feeling positive and thankful. If you're seeking mat services or even just counseling, give them a shot.

I received care for outpatient surgery after a pregnancy loss. Through all the emotions and anxiety, the nurses and medical staff were so caring, so receptive to my needs, and made sure to let me know how well they would care for me. Any signs of anxiety, and a nurse or my doctor were squeezing my arm, letting me know that they aren't going anywhere. I felt they knew what was best for my health, and was out of the hospital in 7 hours. Overall, best experience I could have had for such a heartbreaking situation.

I took my grandson H S & K today for counciling. He has some anger issues, responsibility problems and a few other personality quirks (normal teenager) that has gotten him into trouble.
This was his 2nd visit and so far he seems to be okay with it. I don't get to go with him but I understand that. I believe his parents are on the right track.

I've been to the location on Harvard. It's good for what it is. If you're in crisis, or you have an addiction issue go to Harvard Avenue. If you are dual diagnosis or you have just mental health I 110% recommend this location. Everybody here is absolutely wonderful. However, I don't have children so I cannot attest to a family going here. However, if you are just an adult and you are married without children or your children are grown. Go here, it is absolutely wonderful. There's an intake coordinator named Marianne. She is great! I went there today. I've been having a very hard time the last couple of weeks with my mental health. I used to abuse substances and I haven't in almost 4 years but I've been having a very hard time recently with mental health and they got me through it the last couple of days. I might have have ended up in the psych ward for the first time in many years if it wasn't for this place. So again I cannot attest to the children part of their title. But as far as families. They are solid at this place. They care.

Love them. Started just over a year ago, they set me up with an amazing counselor and worked around my schedule to make appointments. My care team was amazing and everyone was super helpful. I stopped going a few months ago and they reached out making sure I was alright and offered to help get me set up again if I wanted. I don’t currently need their services but if I ever do I will definitely go back.

I have had nothing but a good experience since starting 3 years or so ago. Myself and my family have used several different services, all of which were positive experiences.
Ive had a care tem and they are the best. They have kept track of me and reached out routinely. I'm very grateful for their services.
I just can't rave enough.
If ever there was an issue as they too are human and suffer life as we do. Who knows what the reason, but I always treated everyone with kindness ( I think) and showed them understanding, knowing it's a high pressure job with difficult people struggling with life. For all the many who have been a part of all of our treatments, we thank you. 🙏
