My husband went there for kratom addiction. He left early but has been sober for 6 months!! I credit them with helping him get over the physical symptoms with care and compassion. Truly life changing!! And his insurance fully covered his stay. Family days were insightful and it's a very nice, interesting property. Id recommend it to anyone facing addiction. Hope is out there, you can do it!!

I haven’t had the appointment yet but Marliena in patient registration was SO SWEET AND HELPFUL!! I felt so “heard”!!! I wish there were more employees that were so helpful and NICE!! We took our toddler son here to see Dr. Hutchison. We were INSANELY impressed. The facility was child friendly from the moment you walked in the door. From the waiting room, to the hallways, and even in the private room. There were multiple different types of toys, books, and puzzles. The rooms were decorated for a child to learn and play in, while also being very clean and comfortable for parents. Amazing equipment and even a pediatric style table, so you don’t have to worry about your kiddo rolling off a tall table. We have LOVED seeing Dr. Hutchison since our little one was born, but wow, this move to the PFC has showed how bright she can really shine as a doctor, and a human! She’s a parent. She’s gets it. On top of it all she is insanely smart and trustworthy. She even gave my little one a coin to get a prize and complimented his behavior, but we all know that facility was designed to help children thrive. And that’s exactly the experience my little one had there. Every detail is *chefs kiss*

I have been receiving PT here for the past couple weeks for neck/back pain I've developed postpartum. I highly recommend receiving PT here. They have been very helpful and flexible with my schedule and will call me same day if there are cancellations to fit me in. The exercises I have been recommended to do are helping, and I am looking forward to continuing to see improvement!!

After the birth of my first baby, I had been having some issues and talked to my OB, who sent me to pelvic floor rehab with Aubrey Rimer. I did not even know that pelvic floor rehab existed, but now I am a firm believer! The strategies and exercises she gave me were easy to do, and they helped immensely and immediately! If any new mothers read this, you need to go to pelvic floor rehab. Everybody. Too often women think, "it'll get better eventually," or "this is normal after a baby." I thought that, and I was wrong. As Aubrey put it, "this is COMMON, but not NORMAL." Pelvic floor rehabs helps heal your body after the most dramatic change it will ever undergo, so when you have any issues WHATSOEVER, no matter how minor, with scar tissue from a tear or episiotomy/diastasis recti/bladder/bowels/hip strength, etc., do yourself a favor and go to pelvic floor rehab.

I am so incredibly grateful for the CALM Center. I recently was impatient here and it truly changed my perspective on how I want to live out the rest of my life. I’ve struggled with my mental health for years and have been in and out facilities but let me tell you, the CALM center in the only one who had left an impact on me. If you or someone you love is going impatient please know that they are in safe hands and that they’ll feel truly loved and cared for while they are there. Shout out to Ms. Tabitha, Mr. Scott, and Mr. Jimmy for making the days feel less hard. You can tell they truly have a care for mental health and love their job. Also both therapists are amazing but Mr Spencer is one of the best therapist I’ve ever had. He showed me that their is more to life then what’s going on around me, and genuinely gave me hope for the future. I’ll forever be grateful for the Calm Center and the people who run it. ♥️

It was amazing the food is amazing the stuff for amazing like literally everything about it is amazing except for the beds the beds are a little bit uncomfortable but other than that it's amazing and it's also really short term which I like about that it's only 7 days which is actually not that bad so yeah the doctor really helpful the therapist really helpful everything's really helpful

This place became like my home and it provided me structure and a community to get me ready for the real world. I had so many amazing staff that impacted me. I thank you for having a State Funded way to give people psychiatric drugs. When I was a kid I couldn't be trusted with things like Health Insurance. You guys gave my Wife and I pills that wouldn't have been feasible because we were just starting out. Your behavioral health doctors kept me in check where I didn't buy anything illegal all through my 20s. At a certain point I needed amphetamine to quit smoking. Especially for my Wife. When I first met her she had contributed less than 50 bucks to SSI. We lived together for 7 years before we got married. The whole time I did a Pharmacy Tech diploma through school I got zyprexa, lithium, and ambien here. Ambien made me loose control. At this point I can say I would have stayed out of trouble so much better if at that point in my life if my Dad trusted with money to go to a Pharmacy and buy something like zquil w/ acetaminophen.

This placed literally saved my life. I had been rapidly declining and was on the verge of completely breaking when I learned of Laureate. I walked into the building and told them I was there seeking help and they were kind from minute one. From intake with Diego and Anthony to being taken over to the senior area (MacDonald 2, I think?) everyone was professional, very kind and caring. Dr. O'Meilia was an absolute blessing. He listened, he cared, he understood and he helped me find my way back. I stayed five days and had follow-up via outpatient that started quickly after inpatient discharge. Everyone there has been kind and supportive. I've returned to work (very light schedule) and am feeling well again and I attribute all of this to Laureate, Dr. O'Meilia, Dr. Lawrence, the patient technicians who were so incredibly helpful, patient and kind. Thank you to everyone for all the kindness and care.

You clearly get out what you put in..... I was in a bad spot when I arrived, I could argue I have more issues that Time Magazine. I finally hit rock bottom and checked myself in. I can tell you in the week I was there, I saw the difference in the people and there were 2 types. Those looking to gain something, and those just doing whatever they could to get out. Just as an observer, those who tried to work the program and get something out of it, did. Was everyone perfect, no, but its a mental hospital. It wasn't an amusement park. Very structured, I don't miss the meals, but I was fed, and looked after. I hope you never need it, but as someone who did, it really helped me in ways I never experienced. If I ever need it again, I know where to go.....here.

I want to point something out. I was in this boys home for four years. Those were the best years of my life. I had very tough times but the staff stuck with me and helped me out. I’m seeing a lot of bad reviews that don’t make sense to the boys home that I know. There is one that kicks the side of me like a truck, it’s the review about Rylan Harris. I personally knew this young man and he took it upon himself to break the rules and put himself in harms way. Unfortunately he passed. I know of some other kids that the same thing happened to and I could’ve been one of them cause I would run away. Kids aren’t running away cause this place is abusive like you people want to claim. They are running away because they don’t like the authority above them. Now may God bless those families who lost someone, some little boy that was in some sort of accident. But don’t blame the staff. The staff do everything they can and have rules and policies preventing things that I know for a fact they follow. They don’t like some of them but in order to keep the job that continues helping young men they have to. This place is not a bad place. I stuck out four years here. I got out three years ago and since then I’ve bought several of my own cars, kept a good paying job, and pay my own bills. I’m 20 years old. DO NOT BLAME THE STAFF. If a staff member did something wrong I have full belief and trust in the management taking action. And if this isn’t enough to stop all the hate sending these people’s way than all of you are no better than who you say they are

Everyone was so nice, I was not just treated as another number. I really appreciated the attention and answers to my questions. Do wish that my medication prescriptions to be filled at Walgreens was sent to my Walgreens at 51st and Memorial and that no one except myself was requested to pay for them. I understand the efficiency taken but was very upset about asking my cousin to (who had brought me) Pay for them.

Not only was my stay as a patient was great, but I was there just a few months ago as a RN student and that experience was also great. I’ve been in health care for over 30 years and hospitals are not a place I would ever consider working, but I would definitely work for hillcrest.
