I was at the hospital for a wisdom tooth removal from Drumright dental. I posted my review there. What my dentist did was not the problem. I am bruised all over my arm and face in places not having to do with my teeth. I have broken capillaries all over my arm because they left a blood pressure cup over my elbow. I dont know what happened but im looking into what options I have. Im more beaten then my tooth removal. Other than be having to repeatedly go through medical history because staff before never documented it properly as well as correcting literally everything they had down for me from drumright, staff was polite but this hospital is a mess and again my battered in Bruised all over. This was my first experience having a removal and being put to sleep. I dont know what they did to me but im absolutely terrified and never want to risk putting my body through that again. Ill just stay awake so they can't hurt me. I have been in and out of stillwater medical all week bc of infections and sickness and I have lost taste bc of the meds they gave me. THIS HOSPITAL SHOULD BE ASHAMED

I had a procedure yesterday that I was so nervous about. I can’t say enough good things about every person I encountered when I got to the hospital. From Cindy at registration to every single nurse to the anesthesiologist to Dr Dare. They all made us so comfortable to the point of laughing hysterically. I just want to thank them all and I feel Cushing is blessed to have the hospital and wonderful staff here to serve. Thank you all so much! Can’t say that enough. Highly recommend the personal, kind service you provide!

Accepted Insurance

Hillcrest Hospital Cushing works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Family therapy offers a safe space for family members to openly talk about their feelings and the challenges that addiction has triggered. This process helps to improve their understanding of the disease of addiction and supports the family's unified approach to the recovery journey.

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

This is by far one of the best hospitals I have gone to for healthcare (and we'll just say I've had a "few" to compare to over time...) I was experiencing uncomfortable visits at my local hospital, so decided to try Hillcrest Cushing for care, since it's not too far away. I could not be happier with my decision. The reception area and rooms were clean and well-kept. I only had to wait a few minutes to get straight to a room, and everyone was friendly right off the bat. You can tell when people are happy with their jobs and these folks portrayed that. All of the staff: The attending doctor, nurses, dietary aides, housekeeping staff, etc. were all extremely helpful and respectful. I most definitely recommend making the extra trip, if you live close to the area, for individual or family healthcare needs.

I had a appt set for an ultrasound(if you’re familiar with it you have to drink at least 32oz of water before the appt). We arrived early (12:07ish) and checked in our appt was set at 12:30 so I waited and when it hit 12:45 I asked how much longer bc if your pregnant yk when you have to go you have to go. I eventually went to the bathroom at like 12:55. Still waited (drank more water) and asked how much longer and was told they weren’t sure or 15 more min. People that arrived after us were seen 5 min after showing up. Eventually after 1 we decided to leave and reschedule at a different location. Not sure what the issue was but having your patient pregnant with a full bladder wait 1 hour for their appt when they booked weeks ahead is very unprofessional and inconsiderate!!
