Harmony Place set me on the path to saving my life. I was there for three months, 5 or 6 years ago. Wow, it’s been that long! Mark, Lori and the whole staff provide an environment where true healing and discovery can take place. It is not a good experience at all, it is painful and uncomfortable and terrifying at times. And it’s the best thing I ever did for myself. I struggled with a lifetime of mental health issues. At Harmony Place, I was finally able to identify the root causes (trauma) and developed life-saving tools that I use every day in my recovery. Thank you, Lori, Mark, Sam, and all who were there for me.

This is a place of healing and recovery from trauma. Every staff member is dedicated to the well-being of the client. I've done more work here than a lifetime of therapy and treatment. When you are ready to do the hard work and make your life worth living every day, Harmony is the place. Every therapist is the best at what they do. I cannot say enough about what Harmony Place means to me. This is truly the best thing I have ever done for myself.

I really can’t put into words what being at Harmony has done for me. I Had been watching Mark and Lori on YouTube and felt strongly I needed to go there. So I packed myself up in Michigan and headed to Monterey. I am so glad I listened because It changed my life. This program is different from any other program I had been to. I came there very broken from my childhood trauma and left feeling more whole and ready to handle what whatever life might throw at me. If you choose Harmony I highly encourage you to have an open mind and an open heart to receive healing that will forever change you!! THANK YOU HARMONY and for EVERY STAFF MEMBER WHO WORKS THERE. They truly care. Like I said there really are no words except one, LOVE !! That’s what I left feeling!! A love for myself that I never had!! AN AMAZING MIRACLE 😊
As a clinician I can highly recommend Alsana. This review is for the Alsana in Monterey, CA, however my review of their programing can be applied to the other locations as well. What really struck me about this program is the attention to each individual client and their intention to "bring as much of home" into the program as possible. The program highly focuses on clients relations( relation to self, to others, to their culture, their spirituality) and works at tailoring healing through the lens of these relationships. They also focus on healthy relation to movement, which I think is a really great aspect of the program. And in regards to the Monterey location, it is in such a beautiful spot. Just the access to nature can help support in recovery. I am often recommending Alsana to my clients, and wanted to leave this review as a recommendation for anyone looking!

Greatest clinic ever, staff are knowledgeable and friendly, they truly help those in need and make recovery so much smoother and guided than clinics for MAT. J and Bri are magical rare human unicorns, and i would recommend this place to anyone who wants to begin or continue their recovery journey.
