Harmony Place, located in Mo | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Harmony Place set me on the path to saving my life. I was there for three months, 5 or 6 years ago. Wow, it s been that long! Mark, Lori and the whole staff provide an environment where true healing and discovery can take place. It is not a good experience at all, it is painful and uncomfortable and terrifying at times. And it s the best thing I ever did for myself. I struggled with a lifetime of mental health issues. At Harmony Place, I was finally able to identify the root causes (trauma) and developed life-saving tools that I use every day in my recovery. Thank you, Lori, Mark, Sam, and all who were there for me.

This is a place of healing and recovery from trauma. Every staff member is dedicated to the well-being of the client. I've done more work here than a lifetime of therapy and treatment. When you are ready to do the hard work and make your life worth living every day, Harmony is the place. Every therapist is the best at what they do. I cannot say enough about what Harmony Place means to me. This is truly the best thing I have ever done for myself.

Harmony was a great experience that helped me to better understand mental health challenges that were consuming me. The group settings and the one on one counseling , honed in on areas in my life that have kept me Stuck . Lori and Mark have such a diverse wealth of experience that they are able to coach you through the most difficult obstacles. They also have chosen a great staff that is empathetic and caring throughout your entire process. I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to find myself amidst many years of being lost.

I am another Michael Johnson and my review is exactly opposite.I ve always had great care from my primary doctor, optometrist, lab, x-ray, PT,. All the doctors and assistants were friendly and helpful. Haven t had to go to Palo Alto too often because I was able to get referrals to local doctors except for cardiologist. Haven t had any problems getting appointments. Sometimes you have to hold on the phone for awhile but try later in the week. I m more than satisfied

This 5 star review is long overdue, and it goes out to Myrna Horton and everyone else in the business office at the Gourley outpatient clinic in Marina. They have always been there for me, especially Myrna, who has answered all of my questions and assisted me and many other veterans in an effort to help us in any way that she possibly can to the very best of her ability. Her dedication to helping veterans with their VA needs is evident in every interaction. Myrna Horton is a good person. The VA and all of us veterans are fortunate to have her. The VA is not just about doctors and nurses. Where would they be and where would we be without people like Myrna and all of the people in the business office? They owe me no thanks for my service. It's me that owes them a heartfelt thank you for their service to all veterans.

Alsana | Treatments Programs Payment Options | As a clinician I can highly recommend Alsana. This review is for the Alsana in Monterey, CA, however my review of their programing can be applied to the other locations as well. What really struck me about this program is the attention to each individual client and their intention to "bring as much of home" into the program as possible. The program highly focuses on clients relations( relation to self, to others, to their culture, their spirituality) and works at tailoring healing through the lens of these relationships. They also focus on healthy relation to movement, which I think is a really great aspect of the program. And in regards to the Monterey location, it is in such a beautiful spot. Just the access to nature can help support in recovery. I am often recommending Alsana to my clients, and wanted to leave this review as a recommendation for anyone looking!

Where do I begin Before I came to Elevate I thought I had reached rock bottom in life but shortly after coming here I realized they saved me from ever getting there. I came for an alcohol addiction which became a secondary objective to my stay. I learned to love myself and gained confidence in being me. I found a way to finally be happy in life, in the current moment without contingencies. To know I was never broken and that I have more control over my perspective than I ever thought was possible. My sobriety came as a byproduct of discovering my own self worth and I often lay awake at night filled with gratitude for having the opportunity to go through this program. The amount of understanding and support offered to me was outstanding and I felt as if I was amongst family. The care and love from the staff inspires the clients to care for each other in the same fashion. If at any point you need a shoulder to lean on or just someone to listen, every face you see is there for you. I can t find the words to formulate a sentence that will truly express my thanks and love for Elevate. All I can do is let others know if your suffering and need the help, this is where you will find it.

Before putting myself into a 30-Day Intensive Inpatient Program at Bright Future Recovery (BFR), I was a lost, hopeless soul addicted to alcohol. After 32 years of heavy, heavy drinking, I had finally hit my rock bottom, and I felt that I was quickly on my way to drinking myself to death. Upon arriving at BFR, I was greeted with open, caring and loving arms, and my path towards recovery from alcohol addiction began. BFR Staff--Darlene, Amanda, Larissa, Danae, "Mama D," Grammy, Papa, Chef Carlo, Mariah, Rachel, and I am sure I am forgetting a few names at the moment--all of them treated me like Family, and I came to look at them as Family. Each and every staff member played a critical role in my recovery program--a 10-day detox followed by a 20-day residential stay. The treatment center at 1000 Fairview Road in Hollister, CA, is a beautiful ranch style home in the middle of beautiful, rural Hollister. With fresh, clean air, rolling hills, mountain views, your path to recovery begins in a beautiful house with large rooms, plenty of natural sunlight coming through windows galore. The bedrooms, and living spaces are very roomy and comfortable, filled with comfy beds and furniture.I cannot say enough positive things about my time at BFR. 53 days sober now, thanks solely to the tools and resources I learned about at BFR, and now an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous, I was once so lost, living in the deepest throws of alcoholism, once not wanting to wake up anymore, BFR helped me find my way. Thanks to Bright Future Recovery, I was lost, but now I am found.
