Asana Recovery has many locations, including the outpatient clinic on Pomona Avenue in Costa Mesa, California. That location is only a 12-minute drive to Balboa Pier at the beach. Their outpatient treatment for adults includes a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient treatment program (IOP). These programs are for adu | Treatments Programs Payment Options | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Care, Life-Changing Experience at Asana Recovery
My journey with Asana Recovery has been nothing short of transformational. Walking through their doors, I wasn’t just another patient entering a treatment center—I was a person in need of compassion, structure, and genuine guidance. From the very beginning, the team at Asana made me feel seen, heard, and supported in a way that very few treatment centers truly deliver.
After just two months in recovery, I was given the incredible opportunity to become a house manager, which was a breathtaking experience. Not only did it deepen my recovery, but it allowed me to support others walking the same path. That chance to step into responsibility and service was life-changing, and it’s something I will always carry with me.
What sets Asana apart is the people. Jonathan and Linda, in particular, are shining examples of what makes this place extraordinary. Jonathan’s ability to connect with individuals on a deeply human level created a sense of trust that allowed me to open up and truly engage in the process. His wisdom, steadiness, and encouragement gave me tools that I will carry for the rest of my life. Linda’s presence is like a beacon—warm, nurturing, and absolutely unshakable. Her kindness and dedication went far beyond a “job”; it was clear she cares about every single person who comes through Asana’s program as if they were family.
And it isn’t just them—the entire Asana team embodies that same commitment. Whether it was the counselors guiding me through difficult conversations, the medical staff ensuring I was safe and cared for, or the support staff who brought positivity into every interaction, each person played an important role in making recovery feel possible. They created an environment that blended professionalism with heart, where structure and accountability were balanced with compassion and encouragement.
I’ve been to other facilities and spoken with countless people who have gone through recovery in different settings, and I can say without hesitation that Asana stands in a class of its own. Their approach is holistic, their community is genuine, and their impact is lasting.
To anyone considering Asana Recovery—whether for yourself or a loved one—know this: you will not just find treatment here; you will find hope, healing, and a family that will walk alongside you every step of the way. I am deeply grateful to Jonathan, Linda, and the entire Asana Recovery team for helping me reclaim my life.

Tree House Recovery is located in Costa Mesa, California. It is a men's only addiction treatment facility. Insurance is accepted. Financing from a lender is also accepted. The men in treatment live together and share food and chores. You and the other residents are considered teammates. Every point of treatment is done together, except for one on o | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was dealing with severe cocaine and alcohol addiction. After serving in the military and coming home, I needed help. And I knew that the average rehab and recovery program wouldn’t work with me. I needed something challenging, something different. Treehouse provided that. With a wide range of different and unique approaches to treating addiction like challenging workouts, team building, riding waves on the beach of Costa Mesa on rafts with other men struggling with the same disease, addiction education to help me better understand my disease on a scientific level, and outdoor adventures like going camping, taking trips to cool beaches to surf at. This place isn’t just a recovery center, it’s a family. I am now 6 months sober and graduated the program and I couldn’t feel more grateful and proud of myself. And I know my family could say the same. Anyone struggling with addiction and looking for a program that heals you both mentally and physically NEEDS to give this place a shot.

I’ve been to so many treatment centers. I swore last time I relapsed I wouldn’t go back to another because there all the same. But I had a friend reach out and tell me about treehouse. They told me it was drastically different and maybe something to ge the off the hamster wheel of treatment. They came out and met me and vetted me and made me feel important when I felt as low as possible. This place isnt a place where they stick you in a room and make you do group from 9-5. They teach you how to live again. There is an education group on addiction but it’s only an hour. The rest of the time you’re doing therapy. Which is 4 times a week. Or your lifting, in the gym, or learning how to be social again. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you want to do something different and stay sober. This is the place.

The staff at Casa are top-notch. The high quality programming is really where this facility shines. Everyone from the owner to the cleaning staff was integral to my recovery and motivation. I always felt valued and safe.
Grace House (the nutrition/eating disorder house) has a special place in my heart. I suffered from a severe eating disorder for over 5 years and finally feel like I’ve overcome it. The dietitians, Hanna and Juliette, are very knowledgeable and great at their jobs.
The accommodations are clean and very home-y; the vibe is definitely not institutional or hospital-like. I loved the neighborhood cat too.
I recommend Casa without reservation to anyone looking to recover from an eating disorder and/or substance abuse issue. I’ve been to other treatment centers for both problems and Casa is the best. Thank you so much for everything ❤️

Casa Capri Recovery is truly the most wonderful and clinically strong all-female program I've ever encountered. I've trusted them with my family members and friends struggling with addictive (substance use) and eating disorders, and every time, they were met with unmatched professionalism and pure kindness.
Finding a truly sound, all-female program is rare and more difficult than I ever imagined, but Casa Capri sets the standard. The clinical depth, safety, and community they provide for women is incredibly needed and simply the best available. I am so grateful they are filling this need for women struggling everywhere.
A massive thank you to Liz Miller, whose phenomenal clinical insight and steady connection made all the difference for my loved ones. I also want to acknowledge Katie Martinez and Sophie Rumbin, whose thoughtful communication and genuine care provided incredible support and validation every step of the way. You’re reading this for a reason! Whatever that reason is, my hope is that when you finish you will seek help today, whether for yourself or someone you care for.
If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve read a few other reviews for treatment centers. At this point, you’re almost certainly tired of reading, “This place saved my life”, over and over and over. The phrase starts to lose gravity. The truth for me, however, is that SCC did not save my life. That would be too simple an explanation of what SCC did for me. SCC didn’t sanded my life, they armed me with the necessary weaponry to walk into battle, to save my own life, and to continue living with honesty, integrity, and self-worth.
SCC has something special. Whether you know it or not, you want it too, trust me. Some of the luxuries of private treatment are there, but that’s not it. What’s special at SCC is the authentic warmth, care, and concern of all the staff. Most of them are in recovery themselves, and ALL of them have been affected by addiction in some way or another and have chosen a path of helping others. This is reflected in the general attitude of the clients, and I can say that when i was there, I felt truly safe. I felt genuinely cared for, and I did not feel like a number or a dollar sign. That’s a huge deal! Just as huge a deal, is the clinical staff’s ability and knowledge, as well as their skill in delivery of information in a way that everyone can understand. The groups were super engaging and current. SCC is one of the few places that really understands the nature of group therapy, and does not execute it like a class or a lecture. Groups at SCC are interactive and interesting and there’s a healthy lean towards peer support and feedback.
Another thing that’s different about SCC, is that they accept private insurance, but they are also a nonprofit so they accept some different types of health insurance you might not expect, and sometimes they do things like scholarships for people in need of treatment that might not have the necessary resources. For example, when I was seeking treatment I had a difficult time finding a good treatment center that would take my health insurance because it was through Covered California. SCC was one of the few places that accepted my Blue Shield of CA PPO, and I know they also accepted my friends Blue Shield HMO too, which is amazing! The best thing I could suggest is if you’re in need of help, no matter what insurance you have, just call SCC and ask! The admissions women are outstanding human beings, and whether or not SCC is able to help you, they will help you find a place that’s right for you! That’s pretty incredible if you ask me.
Here’s the point… if you want to go to treatment and sit around and wait for them to save your life, don’t call SCC, but if you’re looking for a great group of people that care about what they do, if you’re thinking you might need a little help, and you’re willing to do a little work, SCC is your spot! The rewards you experience will be indescribable, I promise you that.

Overall my experience was great! One of the things I was disappointed most with was the inability to have access to a gym while in treatment. In my opinion self care in recovery requires inclusivity of our physical health and well being. During admissions it was promised that it would be available once on site. This was not the case after arrival. However, I trusted the direction of my Case Manager Nicole who was an outstanding person and able to take care of all my needs while in treatment she was AMAZING! In addition, my Therapist Melissa was wonderful to work with. Melissa's ability to connect with me and recommend excellent coping skills helped me in ways I didn't think were possible. It took openness and willingness to allow those processes to take effect. I had a really good stay at treatment even though my expectations fell short of what I thought would be included after my arrival here. I look forward to the future ahead now that I'm discharging. Residential services include individual and group therapy, medication management, chef-prepared | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Many, if not all treatment centers say they have “highly individualized” care. This place actually does. They bend over backwards to get everyone the specific care they need. I needed an AA meeting every day and a ride to the gym. They brought me EVERY day.
The staff at MHC is incredible with most of them being PHD level clinicians. But every one provides life changing therapy. EMDR, changed the way I thought. Trauma therapy told me that I make sense. DBT gave me the skills to handling anything. I wanted to die. I don’t anymore. They saved my life and there isn’t another place like it.

A great experience overall. Would love to specifically call out Doug, a therapist who works here. He, like so many other therapist at the MHC, did a really good job in individual sessions at really addressing the problem and being honest. It seems like he really cares about his patients and has been doing great work. Sarah as well. Those are the two I would reach out to call about.

I ran away from Socorro on one of our trips to a Narcotics Anonymous meeting. I was spooked the 1st night I spent there because I heard a lot of whispering and that scared me straight. Other than that I’m sure it is an excellent place for treatmeant.
