I can't say enough of this place they have helped thru the darkest times of my life and made me feel welcomed and made my stay there so comfortable. This place saved my life. When I was at my worst and my absolute rock bottom- Pemarro was there to help my family to get me into detox. I had never been to treatment before and was very scared and did not know what to expect but the staff at Pemarro made the experience so comforting. If it wasn't for their help, nurturing and guidance I wouldn't be where I am today. I have 10 months sober today- and the first day I stepped foot in there has been my sobriety date and has not changed. Groups, food, activities and it's peaceful nature surroundings is perfect to escape from the craziness that addiction and alcoholism throws at us. It is a perfect place to relax and self reflect. Not to mention, they have a house dog there named Parker- who will become your cuddle buddy and walk around outside with you. Carlin, Jen and scott taught me so much and helped guide me through the whole process. I am forever thankful for Pemarro! You will not be dissapointed if this is where you begin your new happy, free and joyous life!

This program is truly life changing! Addiction is a powerful force and has a huge toll on people and the people around them. To that respect, I do understand. All that being said in truth I wished I had came here sooner in my life. It would have saved me a lot of time and trouble. For those ready to change this program is a place that gives you the ability to reset and get your head clear.
I always saw and thought rehab as an expensive thing but this program helps you. Like I said I would have joined earlier in life had I known of this program. It isn't fancy and I had came from jail. I know I had to complete this program and take it seriously but the lessons I learned are now engrained in me in my everyday day life.
The owner and this program help those who want to be helped. They help you get your head clear, instill a routine into you, and help you blend back in to society by giving you the ability to work.

Restoration Ranch has helped me grow with my relationship with The Lord and has helped me Recover from Drugs and alcohol! It has showed me the impact of having a Godly community to be connected with. The working aspect of the Ranch has helped me land a full time job, paying off past debts and providing a stable safe environment to get back on me feet. Literally the best HHSA OFFICE I'VE EVER BEEN TO! Best experience, great people, in and out. I lost my ebt card, went in through security, got my number, sat in an extremely clean and tidy waiting area, within 15 min my number was called, and my EBT card took 10 min to print. The staff was friendly, and even informed me of my SAR7 that is due and helped me complete it. ABOVE AND BEYOND! THANK YOU RAMONA Health and Human Service Agency! I am literally crying everyone the Techs, nurses, nurse practioner, cook, therapist case manager These are the group of people that were exceception!! you know how some people you just don’t like them annoying especially going threw this I had a nurse Rose a beautiful Tech they sat up with me two nights my pressure was down I couldnt take anything a nuse practioner Mia no matter where you were or what time it was She was there & fighting for you she made sure my insurance was giving me the shot I needed Kyle my therspist all the therapist whobwe had for group, we were changing our lives they helped us threw the day taught us so much, even planting days out movies, bowling, Ben our guy to take us to meetings, dont play Taylor Swift lol but he did take us to 7-11 for a snacks I could go on & on and on, nurse supervisor I dont want to destroy her nameI’m a bad speller, lol Mark tough on me and I needed it, , the Techs OMG you know who you are !!! much love the cooks let say this I gained a lot of weight , movie theator, gym, Not to forget the group of people I took this journey with I am still in contact with them we supported one another we cried laugh together we were all there to break these chains that were holding us down we broke the chains together I am forever grateful to all of these people that were a part of my journey we still have or group chat these are the people I want in my life changed the people & fridnds, check !!

These pictures they posted believe me there is so much more the grounds stunning relaxing the pool sitting there seeing the mountains, you can see a horse being trained, the turtle on the side of the house, the goats one guy was from Wyoming his face just glew he never seen or fed goats after the detox your transferred to another house O M G I felt like a Kardasion no kidding my room double doors to a patio I just sat in peace seeing the beauty of these mointakns I’m a city gal, the hummibirds Extraordinary at night 3 bunnies came every night I can hear Ben yelling not to feed them at the time I had 3 grandchilren I missed them so much I named them after them & they honestly they gave me much comfort… ok I could right a novel about this place if you need to fix your life break those chsins GO HERE your going to get that help break those chains in a serene environment with these people that are going to change your life isnt that what were seeking make thst call you will not regret it I’m still here in the mental health program working as a house manager I did it you can do it ..

Bayview is a wonderful facility with a professional and caring staff, who are support in your goals and helping you to accomplish them. The process was easy and professional from checking in to graduating the program. The facilitators of sessions are engaging and try to further deeper thoughts for conversations and the counselors are the best I have had the pleasure of working with. I would recommend this program to anyone seeking a new journey.

If it wasn't for parent care I would have never been able to get my kids back or be the better person that I am today! They helped me with better parenting skills but I was able to fight my addiction and I have been sober since July 1st 2021. Special shout out to Shawna my counselor and Jessica my therapist. Also thank you all the other counselors and teachers for your amazing support through one of the most difficult times of my life.

I voluntarily admitted myself here for the Detox program from alcohol. I know that you as a person has to be just tired of it for it to stick. I left here free of alcohol dependency and now 3 years later, happy to have chosen sobriety. Sobriety is hard work but so was being an alcoholic. Thank ya'll so much👏🫶

I’ve been inpatient 3 times and outpatient for months in both 2023 and 2025.
I was a part of the ED program in early 2025 and it felt like a very safe and tight knit group. I appreciate the high level of support I was getting.

AToN center is a top notch facility. Rehab is what you make it to be, it doesn’t work if you’re not dedicated. It is 3 houses of max 6 per, and you get the best therapists in the business daily. It’s a 5* restaurant daily. Three holistics a week, and activities. If you’re reading this, you’re probably nervous and that’s why I mentioned the comforts first. Of course you are there for the therapy and they have a team that will help you as much as you are willing to be helped imo. It’s not the easiest decision to go to any facility like this, but if you have landed on this website, I would 100! Recommend!

I spent 45 days at AToN and focused on my deep trauma. I found that my two therapists who specialized in trauma treatment really understood my issues and helped me to deal with them; slowly and gently.
Now that I’m home and still have work to do; AToN helped me find an excellent out-patient program in Seattle and assisted me in creating a schedule based on self-care and sobriety.
I could go on forever about the quality of the facilities, the focus on recovery and the variety of holistic treatments that changed my lifestyle, but the most important thing to me was the respect and connections I made with the residents assistants, the clinicians, the holistic treatment specialists, the kitchen crew and other residents who understands what it means to be focused on recovery.
I want to commend Jeff - my yoga/walking mentor who gets it and exudes kindness; Ana the therapist who specializes in EMDR who was straight-forward and challenged me on unhealthy beliefs; Dr, Sanders who has the tough job of overseeing everything and does her job in a professional and compassionate manner. Finally, I want to acknowledge Melinda the therapist who I felt connected to the day I arrived at AToN. Melinda is the person who supported my husband and me; and modeled growth, strength, love and compassion. Without Melinda’s wisdom and support, I would have felt lost. I believe she is the reason I grew strength the courage to set healthy boundaries and follow through.
I highly recommend AToN for anyone who seeks growth, education and compassionate mentors in their substance recovery.

I can honestly say that this place saved our daughter’s life. She was angry at the world and took no responsibility for herself or her actions prior to attending this programme. Now, she’s actively working on cleaning up the wreckage of her past. She’s humble and happy, and our family is grateful for the experience.

I like to thank Pacific Bay recovery for helping my husband and treating him like family. The staff helped him every step of the way, we have tried several rehabilitation centers and none of them worked. My Husband has been through a lot was addicted to everything was a very agitated man and I am so thankful to have my husband back and it’s all because of this program. My father has been attending this recovery place. Watching someone you love struggle is one of the most painful experiences life can offer. My father’s journey with addiction affected not only him, but our entire family. This rehab gave my dad a chance to step away from the chaos and begin to face the pain that fueled his addiction. This place has treated him greatly and I'll be forever grateful for what they have done. Since entering the program a few months ago, he has begun the hard work of healing. I finally feel like I have my dad back and could not be more thankful for the staff and everyone else included, truly. We are so grateful for the care our daughter received at Evolve Cole Ranch. She truly thrived, growing in confidence, accountability, and self-awareness.
The facility is beautiful and creates a peaceful, healing environment. There’s also a positive, uplifting energy—it was important to us that treatment felt like support, not punishment, and Cole Ranch delivered. We especially appreciated the small group setting (only about six kids), which allows for individualized attention and meaningful peer connections.
She benefited from both traditional therapy (individual, group, and family) and experiential therapies like equine and surf—she can’t wait to surf again!
Most importantly, she left with real skills she’s already using at home. We’re incredibly proud of her and deeply thankful to the entire team—especially her therapist, Charlie, who seemed to know exactly how to connect with her. Ermias was great with and Rafa the chef made her laugh and smile. (I’m not sure I can compete with his cooking!).

My daughter’s mental health symptoms showed up at age thirteen. It seemed like overnight we went from having a typical child who enjoyed spending time with family, playing with friends, reading books, going on outings to just wanting to die. It was a very scary and confusing place for our family. I tried and tried to find providers who could help her. She went to multiple providers and programs with little change. After our insurance changed, we were able to start treatment at Evolve. From the very beginning, I felt that we were in good hands. The staff are well trained and the program is well designed. My daughter’s behaviors and our family’s communication patterns changed dramatically. After four years of feelings as if I had lost my daughter, I have my daughter back. I’m grateful that the providers at Evolve have extensive knowledge and experience with teens with mental health issues, and we finally got the help we needed!

Evolve did wonders for our teen. I'm sure it's hard for them to get reviews as this is such a private matter. The whole process is utterly heartbreaking. You don't end up here because you wanna be here. That being said they worked with us as a family so well. I really liked that. They involve you in the treatment and try to ensure that you will have the tools necessary to help your child continue on their path of healing. The path is BUMPY, and it heartbreaking. I remember graduating out of program thinking I don't know if I am ready to do it without them. They helped us navigate tough topics and issues our teen would shut down on us with. Helped us see each other's sides. Helped our teen see themeself. When we graduated out were ok and we did move forward on our own. As a family we are so thankful for the staff at Evolve and the forever impact they have made on our child's life. The skills they shared, our kiddo still uses. Our kiddo really had a connection to the staff. There was also a pet lizard that meant a lot to our kiddo. There's so much I could say about this place. But the biggest is just two words FOREVER THANKFUL.

Shoreline really saved my life. It was the only treatment program that has kept me sober long term. The program itself it fantastic - really first class therapists, facilities, and programming - but what sets it apart are the sober living part of the program. They provide a structured environment that keeps clients accountable and builds responsibility and provides time to get their lives back on track. Clients are really there for all types of recovery (substance wise, mental health, etc) and all ages. Can’t say enough great things about Shoreline, their staff, and the overall program. My experience at Restore was genuinely meaningful. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with dignity, compassion, and respect during a time I needed all three.
Everyone I interacted with made an effort to understand me as a person, not just someone going through a difficult chapter. I felt supported without feeling judged, and cared for without feeling like I had lost my independence. The environment was comfortable, private, and much more welcoming than I expected from a detox and recovery center.
The combination of care, structure, support, and genuine human connection gave me the space I needed to ground myself and think clearly about what I wanted to do moving forward. So what do I say about Steven and Restore Detox Centers? When I entered through the doors of this facility, I was a completely defeated and tormented soul as a result of the ravages of addiction.
I had arrived at the end of myself!
All my own ideas about how to live my life had failed me, but THIS is precisely where the LIGHT stepped in and met me; in the total darkness of my own demolition, destruction, degeneration, degradation and demoralization.
I was hopeless!
I didn't believe that I could recover from this seemingly hopeless state of mind and body and like the song by America, "Lonely People" states, I believed that "life had passed me by."
Well, here I am some time later, and I can HONESTLY share with you, from the very Top of my heart, that my life is indescribably wonderful now.
My seconds and minutes and hours of each day were filled with torment and dread!
Now, they have been replaced with enthusiastically looking forward to seeing the wonderful friends that I have made, the smiles and hugs that I am greeted with, and the super cool testimonies that I get to continuosly hear!
I was asked to take some simple steps (12), not easy but simple, and I was told that I didn't even have to believe.
I just had to take these simple actions and they would result in an experience that would prove their effectiveness.
If you're in a place of abject bewilderment and confusion and you have come to the end of yourself, please know that a new You is waiting to emerge; a new, Regenerated, Rejuvenated, RESTORED, and Reconciled (to Self, Family, Friends and God) version of You is waiting to be born!

Villa Kali Ma hands down changed and saved my life forever!! I had been struggling with behavioral health, chronic health conditions and alcoholism for 8 years and ultimately would die if it continued. To start (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT), the clinical director that speaks with all potential clients is onsite working here each weekday. Jess is beyond amazing and isn’t anything like a rehab sales broker you speak with 99% of the time when considering residential treatment. Jess has the ability to screen clients that are the best fit for VKM. There are a variety of ages at the villa, with most being in a similar demographic to me. Women who work or have worked in successful roles who have lost their way. We all get along even as new clients leave and come. The program itself is very holistic based which equates to having several sessions a day focused on mental, spiritual and physical health. There is a daily yoga/meditation group, sound healing, gardening, cooking classes along with weekly trips to the beach, equestrian therapy, offsite hikes/walks, visits to serene meditation gardens, spiritual Sunday trips. Unlike other residential houses who ‘offer’ spiritual groups, we actually have weekly acupuncture, cranial sacral massage, reiki, guided meditation, chanting etc.
The staff is incredibly mature compared to other residential programs. The resident advisors (tech staff) including Gigi, Robin, Rachel, Char and Karen always go above and beyond clients’ needs. Unlike other facilities, you don’t face HIPPA violations and that’s due to the choice of staff Jess is hiring.
All of our clinical staff are not only trained in both BH/dual-diagnosis’, they and have the certifications and work backgrounds to meet all needs. Specifically, Janice, Cate, Ali and Lexi. They have all helped in my recovery!!!
This is a vegan house which may scare some but rest assured everyone is shocked at how great the food is a VKM. There is a client food request list and they go food shopping nearly everyday. The owner Kay cooks every other week and the trained chef, Mary, is here opposite weeks. Both offer us information about the foods we eat and how they impact our immune system and health.
This is the place to come if you are ready to change your life for the good, forever!!
I could not recommend VKM enough to any woman looking for an all women’s program with all female staff. Don’t make the mistake and come to VKM when you are ready for real, ongoing change!!

Villa Kali Ma was truly a life-changing experience for me. I came here to get sober, and I’m leaving with so much more than I could have ever imagined. I found healing, connection, and a love for myself that I hadn’t felt before.
The staff is absolutely wonderful, compassionate, supportive, and genuinely invested in your healing journey. The therapy was deep and powerful, and I did some of the most important work of my life here. The spiritual healing, Kirtan group, fun outings to the beach, and gorgeous walks in nature all made this experience so special and meaningful.
One of the greatest gifts was the beautiful friendships I made along the way. I felt supported, seen, and encouraged to grow in ways I never expected. This experience helped me reconnect with myself, work through so much, and discover a deeper sense of self-love and appreciation for life.
I will always be grateful for my time at Villa Kali Ma and for the incredible people who helped make this chapter of my life possible. Dr Hakimi-Majd is truly a miracle worker, My grandmother had a severe stroke and his care was absolutely exceptional! And a whole team in the neuroscience ICU, Special shout out to charge nurse Amy, Night Shift nurse Hoymyra, and day shift nurses David and JP Their care for the patient and the family members was amazing. They will never know truly how grateful I am for them. They will be in my prayers.! My grandmother was there for almost 2 weeks and I pretty much did not leave her side. We have family members staying overnight with her as well. And the care we received, at the hardest time of our lives by these individuals was truly incredible. So one more time thank you so much the whole team you all are angels🙏🩷 we are home now, and the whole transition was so supported by the doctors social worker case worker, To make sure we have everything we need to take her home. I swear there’s not enough thank you To express my gratitude.

The Fellowship is hands down the best rehab. Almost everyone that I know who has been there agrees. They not only focus on the addiction but what the addiction has done to you and how to get you back. They helped me get my license back, get my teeth fixed, my social security card, helped resolve my legal issues and got me to a mental health professional as well. They have a good influence with the courts which helped keep me from doing 2 additional years in jail. Robert was my counselor and I couldn't have asked for a better one. If you are trying to figure out where to go or send your loved one, just ask anyone who has been there. I'd bet that 99% of people who go there would recommend.

Health issues can strike quickly and from nowhere, they can linger and become chronic. Dr. Corbin has been my primary since I was reassigned to him years ago and the craziest thing happened— he listened to me. I am a frequent flyer of doctors for the last decade— and when you find a good one- you keep them on the roster. The entire squad at all the SYH locations are brilliant! Dr. Corbin and his team are my home team! Courteous, kind, and through the years some funny anecdotes. Overall, Brightquest seems to have the potential to be a beautiful place if you make it one and if all those involved (parent, client, referrant, etc) fall under-- to each's own capacity-- a conjoined understanding of what enrolling into the facility truly entails before onboarding.
Top of the Line professionals in terms of medical, psychiatric, directorial staff, and coordinators.
In the San Diego office, administrative advision and onboarding facilitators seemed to be - at a minimum - understaffed, underprepared, rushed... disjointed, disoriented - retaining inconsistent speech and tonal behaviors. First day, as most everyone will tell you, is definitely whiplashy; so be prepared.
Most, if not all therapists are pretty fantastic, though there's a healthy sprinkling that will likely benefit from more seasoning or better balance when it comes to working with the clientele that comes through the facility--especially considering the severity of what Brightquest's treatment plans offer.
Resolution could see steps towards improvement with a simple forum on situational and environmental threats, could addtly. benefit from the inclusion of more proactive superiors. (aside from weekly staff meetings which seem to not be too productive, I really just believe there should be a massive overhaul/addition to supervising faculty, or an increase in physical foot traction of prior mentioned superiors, wherever they're holding these mystery figures. Yes, it is true from what I've read in other reviews that plenty key players are conveniently often on vacation. Website also needs an update.)
I definitely think that clients should have a say in who they work with throughout their time in treatment, if afforded the luxury-- e.g. building or altering their own teams. The option of choice and communication does so much for clients in a space with inconsistent, often seemingly unclear boundaries and assistance. Also, on the DEI note, not very accommodating in terms of practicing religion.
Last and certainly MOST important. If at this point you have any retainer hesitations-- great resources, work study programming, activities, group sessions, and residential function is a very intelligent, strategic layout. Each individual playing a hand in house management, whether that be house managers themselves, night staff, or especially nurse Theresa (who is working 24/7!) are diamonds in the rough of it all.
At the end of a long day, throughout any level, at Brightquest (with the right treatment and mentality) you can fall on the network you've built for yourself within the community there. I truly do hope to see the team at BQ San Diego weed out some of the bad parts, as there is so much light and an outpouring of love and friendship in the work done there.
