| Located in Murrieta, California, Ranch Creek Recovery is a luxury alcohol and drug rehab center that provides addiction treatment to men and women aged 18 and older. They also provide specialty tracks for first responders, individuals living with dual diagnosis, and the LGBTQ community. Detoxification, residential treatment, and outpatient treatmen | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I've had a few stints with rehab and none even skinned the surface of what I learned here. Located on a beautiful property in the foothills of Murrieta, with in house groups led by instructors that break it down so in depth. My perspective had a total shift and I can honestly say I owe my life and the promise of a new future to this facility and it's faculty. If you're willing to do the work this is the place to get into your core issues and help you recover from the lifestyle and vices that one is addicted to. I recommend this place to anyone who wants something different from life. DBT, CBT, recovery education, family therapy are just a few of the groups and The program director and Clinical director hand picked a team that is progressive, informed, patient, caring and passionate about what they do. I encourage anyone who's seeking treatment to look into this program I first hand watched others and had my life transformed.

What you need to know about Ranch Creek Recovery:
They accept health care insurance. Katie was great in helping me find the right healthcare provider and coordinating enrollment
PRIOR TO ARRIVAL:
coordinate which house you will be staying at (Bass or Dorrien), what day you'll be arriving, how you'll get to the program, pack a week worth of clothes including a bathing suit, books, booklight (if you plan to read, because all lightbulbs are the dimmest possible), and alarm clock (unless you like counselors walking into your space, waking you up randomly).
UPON ARRIVAL:
You will need to be dropped off (there is no personal parking or vehicle storage). You'll go through a search (appropriately, light pocket check and bags emptied) all electronics will be confiscated (headphones, phones, chargers, etc) and stored in a locked closet. Full inventory documented for all items. You will have up-to 3 days to DETOX as needed where you can sleep and rest privately. I personally got bored very fast and decided to join the group early rather than just sleep, but the option is available as needed.
ONCE SETTLED IN:
There is a 7 day blackout period where you are not allowed phone or computer use and can not have visitors or communicate with family/friends (emergency exceptions). There are typically 4 (one hour) group sessions daily, during which either worksheets are used from various therapy resources, or rehabilitation-related YouTube videos are shown. Counselors rotate based on internal scheduling. You'll have 1-2 private therapy sessions scheduled each week for one on one with Leena or Christine both are great to work with and talk to one on one. Meals are scheduled 3 times a day, residents are responsible for cooking their own meals and can "graze" in making snacks/meals as needed.
DEPARTING:
A close-out assessment will be completed prior to your scheduled last day with an emergency safety plan for sign off. A pick-up time will be scheduled, all itemized inventory reviewed with sign-off. an IOP Intensive Outpatient Program will be offered through RCR Ranch Creek Recovery and/or a plan for after care reviewed.
NOTES:
Phone use allowed 1 hour a day at night after dinner, following a 7 day blackout period. Group sessions can be "boring" lots of downtime, lots of staff turnover.
There are two houses BASS & DORRIEN.
Bass is the main property and where groups are held.
Sleeps 6 residents. There are 3 private bedrooms each with a queen bed (one has it's own bathroom, the other 2 share a bathroom), and 1 oversized bedroom with 3 queen beds, another full bathroom by the living room. big screen smart tv, L-shaped old sofa [over-due to be replaced], matching captains chair with footrest [also ready to be replaced], eloquent dining room (dedicated as an art space), enormous dream kitchen with separate pantry room, food shopping is done once a week with a list (residents responsible to cook their own meals), Pool Table, Ping Pong,, Pool (ICE COLD), Jacuzzi (turned on Friday night only, no lights), garage with some gym equipment (you can use during free time), and a large sunny well maintained backyard is accessible.
Dorrien is the "overflow" smaller secondary house about 10 minutes away. Also sleeps 6 total. 1 large bedroom with 3 beds, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, 1 master with a queen bed which shares a jack-and-jill bathroom. TV, living room, hot tub.
DAILY ITENTERARY:
This is where it gets a bit "grey space" ....
There is a plan on paper (somewhere) and then there is reality.
PAPER PLAN
*I could be slightly off, as no schedule was provided
wake up 7am-7:30am
breakfast 8am-9am
9am-12pm & 1pm-5pm group
lunch 12pm-1pm daily
dinner 5pm-6pm daily
free time 6pm-10pm
Tuesday = Sound Therapy (AMAZING)
Wednesday = Yoga (BEGINNER)
Thursday = Fitness Training (NOPE)
Friday = Educational Rehabilitation Movie & Horse Therapy
Saturday = "outing activity" (NOPE)
Sunday = Family visitation 12pm-4pm (last 2 weeks only)
its helpful if youre looking to get clean. The property and people are nice overall.

I had been through treatment twice before and didn’t think anything was going to change but I was willing to try. I was placed in a nice house with very knowledgeable and relatable staff members that helped guide me in my early days of detoxification. They kept me hopeful for a better life even though I felt like mine was over. The program they run is smooth and effective, they kept a close eye on me and made sure my needs were met. I can’t say enough good things about the program, my uncle passed away while I was in detox and on black out protocol and they still let me make a phone call to my family because they knew how much it would mean to me. Also had it not been for a counselor named Rachael, I’m not sure I would be sober to this day. She helped me navigate the best course of action to remain in sobriety by showing me all the resources and places I could go for after care both in my home state of WV and other options closer to their program as well. Had I not been made aware of the fact that I could go to boardwalk recovery after SBT I don’t think I would have made it as far as I have now. Thank you so much for helping me get my life back, you all are amazing people!

For the first month or two, you have to go there every day, and depending on what time you get there [I always liked getting there as early as possible], there will be a super long wait. If you still use, you will never move up to be able to have take-homes. When you get take-homes, if you use again, they suspend it for a week, at first [so you have to go there every day, again] and then you get your take-homes back, but you get less of them I think? [I did this once after I had my take-homes for a couple months in the very beginning, I dont remember that well. 😅] I stayed on methadone for 2 years before I started tapering, and my taper program lasted another year. The whole time the staff was always kind, and my counselor was always very supportive of my decision to get off methadone, the whole office was. The staff are cool as long as you're doing what you're supposed to. My overall experience was good, I was there when a different director was running things, though.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience over the past 5 1/2 months here. The receptionist Mary while very busy is warm and welcoming. My counselor is Erin but at times I have also had the pleasure of meeting with Joseph both are extremely caring and professional and always available when you need them. I look forward to the weekly groups they both lead so much so that I even squeeze in additional groups on my days off when I can and they are always accommodating. These programs are for adu | Treatments Programs Payment Options | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Care, Life-Changing Experience at Asana Recovery
My journey with Asana Recovery has been nothing short of transformational. Walking through their doors, I wasn’t just another patient entering a treatment center—I was a person in need of compassion, structure, and genuine guidance. From the very beginning, the team at Asana made me feel seen, heard, and supported in a way that very few treatment centers truly deliver.
After just two months in recovery, I was given the incredible opportunity to become a house manager, which was a breathtaking experience. Not only did it deepen my recovery, but it allowed me to support others walking the same path. That chance to step into responsibility and service was life-changing, and it’s something I will always carry with me.
What sets Asana apart is the people. Jonathan and Linda, in particular, are shining examples of what makes this place extraordinary. Jonathan’s ability to connect with individuals on a deeply human level created a sense of trust that allowed me to open up and truly engage in the process. His wisdom, steadiness, and encouragement gave me tools that I will carry for the rest of my life. Linda’s presence is like a beacon—warm, nurturing, and absolutely unshakable. Her kindness and dedication went far beyond a “job”; it was clear she cares about every single person who comes through Asana’s program as if they were family.
And it isn’t just them—the entire Asana team embodies that same commitment. Whether it was the counselors guiding me through difficult conversations, the medical staff ensuring I was safe and cared for, or the support staff who brought positivity into every interaction, each person played an important role in making recovery feel possible. They created an environment that blended professionalism with heart, where structure and accountability were balanced with compassion and encouragement.
I’ve been to other facilities and spoken with countless people who have gone through recovery in different settings, and I can say without hesitation that Asana stands in a class of its own. Their approach is holistic, their community is genuine, and their impact is lasting.
To anyone considering Asana Recovery—whether for yourself or a loved one—know this: you will not just find treatment here; you will find hope, healing, and a family that will walk alongside you every step of the way. I am deeply grateful to Jonathan, Linda, and the entire Asana Recovery team for helping me reclaim my life.

I cannot say enough good things about this program. Very caring staff, beautiful accommodations. They really have it together. I can honestly say I feel like I won't be having to go back to treatment. I feel very confidant in my recovery. The aftercare has also been amazing, my intake agent just called me last week to see how I am doing. I feel a genuine concern and interest from them, that is very hard to find. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to get sober. Also, one of the perks, they let me have my cell phone from the time I walked in the door, I was never cut off my husband or kids which made me feel so much better about everything! The counseling was really good, I got a lot of individualized care. This really allowed me to open up and be vulnerable about my situation, which I am a very private person.

My journey to sustained sobriety began at Runway, a premier short-term stabilization facility in Santa Ana, California. Designed for individuals in crisis, Runway offers 24-hour monitoring in comfortable, well-appointed accommodations, including private bedrooms, an on-site cook, and a dedicated nursing staff. A compassionate team of five to six professionals provides individualized care, preparing patients for a seamless transition to long-term treatment. Runway’s structured yet nurturing environment makes it an exceptional choice for immediate, high-quality intervention.
After stabilization, I transitioned to Treehouse Recovery to address a complex history of alcohol addiction, combat-related injuries, and a rare psychotic episode triggered by marijuana use. The Treehouse staff’s expertise in treating combat veterans navigating reintegration and substance abuse was remarkable. Their swift, targeted response to my unique challenges laid a critical foundation for my recovery.
Treehouse’s program distinguishes itself through a robust team-based approach, which fosters accountability, camaraderie, and personal growth. Patients are organized into small, cohesive units that collaborate on daily tasks, from meal preparation and facility maintenance to group sports and weightlifting. This model mirrors the discipline and interdependence of military teams, which was particularly resonant for me as a veteran. For example, morning team raft exercises in the surf required synchronized paddling, teaching us to trust one another and communicate effectively under pressure. These activities were more than physical; they instilled a sense of shared purpose and mutual reliance, reinforcing the skills needed for long-term sobriety. By working closely with peers, I rebuilt self-esteem, learned to embrace responsibility, and developed a support network that extended beyond the program. This team dynamic was a cornerstone of my recovery, providing a safe space to confront vulnerabilities and celebrate collective achievements.
Beyond its team-based framework, Treehouse emphasizes the physiological and biological aspects of addiction, moving beyond traditional talk therapy. Physical training restored my strength and confidence, while the program’s focus on leadership in its latter half prepared me for a successful return to everyday life.
Over a year later, I remain sober, with strengthened family ties and renewed self-confidence. The ongoing support from Runway and Treehouse, through regular check-ins, reflects their commitment to clients’ long-term success. Their tailored, family-like approach creates a global network of support that empowers individuals to thrive post-treatment.
I wholeheartedly recommend Runway and Treehouse Recovery to anyone seeking a path to lasting recovery. These facilities not only saved my life but also provided the tools and community to build a brighter, more fulfilling future.
Sincerely,
Charlie

I needed to get rid of my ways because they were no longer working for me. My journey began with an honest, encouraging conversation with Terry. I knew I’d hit the jackpot when I heard his voice of reason. Drugs had become too big a part of my life. What began as a drug to eliminate pain ended up eliminating me being present in my own life.
Adelante helped me to break my routine of taking opioids that no longer served me in a positive way. I felt as though I was physically and emotionally sinking to a dark place.
Adelante helped me with meditation (thank you Kim), healthy and inspiring conversations (thank you Richard)and allowing me to safely get opioids out of my system. Adelante has been a priceless gift to many and has reminded me that a sober life can be priceless. The entire team embraced all of us who were there to heal regardless of how our journey evolved.
Adelante became a light in my world. I went from stressing over whether I’d have enough pills to get me through the month (and I really mean STRESS)
to being taken care of gently and professionally by a fabulous team/staff. And Chef, thank you for the gourmet meals).
Adelante provides the environment of allowing us to share our successes and our despair.
Terry and Jeff became my champions. And believe me, I needed champions!
Adelante helped guide me back to my best self. I was feeling more than a little lost. I needed to do something to make my life count. I needed to be someone who matters and opioids had taken me to a very dark place. Thank you Dr. Penunuri , Jen, Jessie, and the entire staff at Adelante.
At Adelante we were given the tools to strengthen one another. We were able to share and be understood. The nursing staff was always available, day or night. A side story; one night I was uncomfortable and needed help. The nurse got the staff doctor on the phone at 2:00am and was given instructions on how to treat me. Who gives that successful kind of care in the middle of the night? I was in excellent hands.
Life is not meant to be lived later so Adelante, thank you for leading me back to my healthy self so that I can live life NOW. Adelante is a beautiful home environment that accepts all who enter with respect, kindness, gentleness and reverence.
I will always be grateful that I found this safe, secure environment to heal. I recommend it to anyone in need of detox or recovery from any substance.

I spent 30 days at the Turrell house, and although it was my first time in treatment I believe I was meant to come to this place specifically. They did such a wonderful job welcoming me, the staff and residents really helped me settle in to the routines of the program. I loved every single group session we did throughout my stay, and i loved all of the outside meetings we went to every week, I learned so much, and I actually found my sponsor because of this program. They really care about every client individually and are very attentive to specific needs. I loved working with Katie as my case manager, she did an amazing job. Thank you so much Everlast, I’ll definitely be back to visit!

| Hathaway Recovery is a luxury rehab located on a mountain resort in Claremont, California. At this facility they specialize in treating adults who are struggling with addiction and dual diagnosis disorders. The levels of care provided are detox, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment. Drug court, trauma therapy, med | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This is, by far, the best recovery center that I have experienced and heard of. I have been sober since I left Ranch Creek 3 1/2 years ago. They saved my life physically, as I was about a month away from being put onto the liver transplant list, they saved my marriage and relationship with our four children, and they saved me emotionally, as Dr. Dena was able to get some of my issues to a conclusion without me using alcohol to numb the pain. I do the work every single day, but I wouldn't be here without Ranch Creek. They definitely do it right!

This place has saved my life. The counselors, the nurses, the teachings (tools), and the environment were amazing. They were very patient, caring, and understanding. I learned so much there and gained a whole new self identity. After inpatient, they offered me an outpatient program that you can partake either in-person or via Zoom. That is so necessary and beneficial as well. I would suggest that anyone who wants and needs to get their life back or reshape who they are for the better to give this place a try. I live life through new eyes and with a healthy mind. You won't be disappointed.

I tried over and over to get clean and stay clean, when I came to hathaway it was my last chance, my family wanted nothing more to do with me. I went to Hathaway for detox and ended up staying 90days. The gratitude I have for Hathaway is never ending, the amazing support of the staff and follow through with my treatment therapy and counseling was what I really needed to help me with my trauma and get my life back. If anyone feels like they have no more hope I recommend Hathaway 110%.

| AEGIS Medical Systems - Ontario is part of the Pinnacle Treatment Center Network. They operate an outpatient opioid recovery clinic in Ontario, California. They serve adults affected by addiction to alcohol, opiates and other drugs. Their primary focus is opioid use disorders. They also offer “whole person” treatment for co-occurring conditions | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I came here for courtesy dose in August and again in November. They are great there! If I move out here this is the clinic I definitely would go here.The price for just 7 days of methadone was $140!! This is the 2 nd time I paid this price for a week. We don’t have much money we are trying to get our lives back and this is a life or death medication for us.
The methadone is way overpriced here, while it is not an expensive drug from the pharmacy.

I came here broken after years of being afraid, unsure how to even begin again. What I found was a safe place where I could breathe and finally feel seen. The women-only groups helped me open up in ways I never thought I could. Staff treated me with real care, not like just another number. Food wasn’t great always, but the healing? That was real. I’m finding my strength again.

Cliffside is top notch. This place will meet even the pickiest of people’s needs. The staff goes above and beyond for their clients everyday. Gretchen the staff supervisor welcomed me with open arms and saw my immediate needs were met quickly and with haste. She really cares and is great at listening and offering thoughtful solutions in the moment. She really makes things happen. Pierre is the cream of the crop, he picked me up and brought me to Horizons House and calmed all my nerves on the way in. He unpacked my clothes and hung all of them in the closet and showed me around and introduced me to the other clients. The therapist I had was more like a great friend. Jill put me at ease and an instant connection was made. She is the best of the best!! I’m going to miss Cliffside very much, I owe them everything. The program was so great and the facilitators were extremely educated and welcoming. If you come across this in your search I promise this is the place to go with. You won’t find anyone as genuine and knowledgeable in this line of business. They gave me my life back and all with 5 star service and accommodations.
