I am so thankful for what VCC does for the community and have been a patient for over 20 years. I can’t say enough good things about the staff at all their locations because they deserve all the praise and so much more. Recently I had my teeth fixed at Vale Terrace with Dr. Silva and she was able to save a tooth that I was sure I was going to loose; on top of that she stopped a very painful infection. Dr. Silva and her assistant Mike Villanueva worked some miracles on my teeth. From the front desk staff to the doctors and assistants they really have a great team.

This place is AMAZING! I used VCC about 25 years ago and it was a horrible experience, so when my health ins (MediCal) insisted I use VCC recently as my provider clinic, I wasn’t too happy. That said, I’m SO HAPPY I did. Everyone here is incredibly caring and nice. My doctor is patient and all smiles. The lab dept has the nicest people as well. The facilities are super modern and clean, from the waiting rooms to the exam rooms. Everyone there is just great! Don’t hesitate to go. VCC is fantastic. 😊😊

I have had such a torrid tumultuous yet serene and beautiful romance with Green Oak Ranch. I graduated the program in 2010 and I loved it so much I went back and graduated again. Lol. I really do love the place, but I went back because I had walked out of the gates the first time I graduated and I left my relationship with God and my support group behind. I just wasn't done yet. Fortunately, I didn't die while adding more horrible experiences to my testimony. I knew I needed to go back because I truly met Jesus while I was there. I experienced REAL Christian fellowship with beautiful peopls who shared similar struggles as mine. I hear all the stories about how the staff developed issues in recent years. But, I can only attest to what I experienced while I was there. I believe that God handpicked each and every staff member while I was there. Beautiful souls who "figured it out". They devoted their lives to helping point others to Christ. They gave up lucrative careers to fulfill the purpose that God had for their lives. I didn't always get along with the staff (go figure a recovering addict who doesn't always jive with authority, hahaha) It was thru all of the people that I was blessed to cross paths with while I was in the program that I got a taste of what true joy was. For the first time in my life I had a peace that I could never do justice to by trying to put it into words. But, even after experiencing that I made the choice to go and "return to my own vomit" as scripture says. After running amuck for several months my health began to decline. But, not my physical health. My mental health had been truly tested and I was for the first time in my life failing that test. My pride wouldn't allow me to call Mary or Carl Fielstra (love you both..RIP Carl). My confidence was non-existent, I had no relationship with God. I told myself that God wouldn't want me back anyways. I was hopeless and I planned to take my life. I went to the store to get some things that I needed to make that happen. While heading out of the the Big 5 with a box of .38 caliber rounds I headed towards my car. I noticed my shoelace was untied ao I bent down to tie it. While I was crouched i heard footsteps and before i could even look up I saw a pair of Lugz Boots that I recognized without hesitation. I stood up and there was Green Oak Staff Member and "Triple OG" Carlos Atkinson (alright....alright). He and I had become close during my previous time at the Ranch. He didn't say a thing and neither did I for a few minutes. I hid the box of ammo behind my back. Carlos looked me in the eyes and said "Gabe we gonna get you some help ok?" And I threw my arms around him cuz I had wanted help for a while but my pride kept me from asking. 3 weeks later I entered residential treatment at Green Oak for the last time. Sorry for the novel. But, that is what Green Oak once was. People have their reason for why they love Green Oak Ranch. They have many reasonswhy they go camping there every year or why they volunteer there on Thanksgiving. Or, like me, they have reasons why they knew they needed to "come home" again. I'm sure there are countless reasons why people fell in love with the Ranch. Those are icing on the cake. The real reason people go back for any reason is because they saw Jesus at the Ranch. It's hard seeing the place change. Pretty soon the Ranch won't be the Ranch. I pray for Solutions for Change that the land will be used to help the widows and orphans. Yep, the Ranch is for the most part now just a memory. I'm gonna throw this out there. There are plenty of places with land. I pray for the funds and the right people to step up. Maybe Green Oak Ranch hasn't seen its last hurrah? Maybe God just wants to find a different venue. He who has ears.... Oh by the way..... after Carlos let go of hugging me he Snatched the box of bullets I hid behind my back and he said, "Gimme the receipt". He smacked me on the back of my head and said "you better get up outta here before I show you how we do in "Detroit". Haha.

I’ve been going here since the beginning of February since my therapist couldn’t help me. This place has helped me immensely, everyone that works there knows everyone’s name and treat you with respect and it’s evident that they truly care. At first I was pretty nervous about the patients but everyone is so chill and I’ve made some wonderful friends there. My psychologist and psychiatrist are amazing and have identified the issues that I have and have me attending very specific groups to help me with my anxiety and ocd. I’m going to be honest it’s a lot of groups 3 times a week with 4 groups a day but it’s well worth it and I’m on my way to getting better. Oh and it’s totally separate from the hospital 😆

Tri-City Outpatient Behavioral Health Program has been the only program that has helped me through the difficult times, on my journey with depression. This is my third time going through the process & each time I learn even more about myself & my environment. At a time when excellent psychiatrists & therapists are hard to find, Tri-City Behavioral Health has the best. This year I’m blessed to be able to join my therapy sessions & groups via Zoom. I highly recommend this program. I would give it ten stars if I could.

I got there on November 7th of 2024 and I was there about 62 days, at first I wanted to leave really badly, but after a week or 2 I started to get used to it. Some people said that they are to strict, but honestly it really was not. The rules were just to keep us safe, like no touching, no covert communication, and stuff like that. It taught me so much, like learning to just say the truth when i do something wrong and just come forward. I learned so much and I am so grateful I got to have this experience. I came out a whole new person. The staff there are great, and the supervisor Shawana is also amazing, I respect her a lot. She truly cares for us and I really looked up to her! The therapists there were also great. All the staff were really good with handling situations like bullying or and drama. When there was any drama the staff would quickly shut it down and we would work it out. We were not just trapped, we got to go on an outing every Sunday. We also would get take-out on Thursdays. I highly recommend this place. It is one of the BEST! I honestly did not want to leave!

Even though I’ve never been a client myself, I’ve had the privilege of working with their team for nearly 10 years—and I can confidently say they operate with a level of integrity, compassion, and professionalism that is rare in the rehab industry. Ranch Creek Recovery is truly different. Their inpatient program is set in a private, luxury estate that provides a peaceful, dignified environment for healing. Other treatment centers claim to be luxury and cram dozens of people into a small home. The inpatient facility feels more like a resort or retreat than a clinical facility, which makes an incredible difference for clients who are going through the toughest periods of their lives. What really sets them apart is their staff. This is a family owned and operated treatment center, and you feel that from the first interaction—warmth, genuine care, and a commitment to doing what’s right, not what’s profitable. Their small client-to-staff ratios mean every person receives personal attention, individualized treatment, and a level of support that larger, corporate-style rehabs simply can’t match. In an industry where far too many centers focus on maximizing revenue, Ranch Creek Recovery stands out for doing the opposite: prioritizing people. I can say with complete confidence that they treat every client with dignity, compassion, and honesty. They are the definition of a high-quality, luxury, ethical drug & alcohol treatment center, and I’d recommend them without hesitation to anyone seeking real help.

Villa Kali Ma truly changed my life. When I arrived, I had absolutely nothing left — I had hit rock bottom. Through the care, compassion, and dedication of every single staff member, I was able to begin healing and rebuild my life. The team at Villa Kali Ma guided me through some of the hardest times I’ve ever faced with a level of attention and understanding that’s rare to find. The variety of therapies offered — EMDR, individual therapy, group sessions, art therapy, and holistic practices — helped me work through deep and complex trauma while reconnecting with my body and spirit. Daily yoga, a nourishing diet, and a beautiful, peaceful environment all contributed to my recovery. I also lived in the sober living house, which provided even more structure, safety, and support. One of the most incredible parts of this experience is the community of women I met. We continue to support each other through alumni meetings and ongoing connection long after treatment. The staff here genuinely care — they show up every single day ready to help, to advocate, and to stand by your side in your healing. Villa Kali Ma is truly a magical place. It changed me on every level, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am today — nine months sober and happier than I could have imagined — without this program. If you’re considering where to go for help, let your search end here. Villa Kali Ma is the place to be. — Ash Foreman

On top of the medical expertise, delicious food, and the fantastic staff. You will also receive the best therapy one can possibly hope for. This place has INCREDIBLE psychotherapists!! I don't know what that one guy is talking about, this is a therapy center, not a detox... What the heck. I HIGHLY recommend you give this place a shot if you are seeking outpatient therapy. There's no commitment, pay as you receive sessions, and the Dr.'s here are brilliant and understanding, including Dr. Horvath, the FOUNDER of SMART Recovery. Schedule a session. Try a couple different therapists. You will not be let down. I have had addiction issues for over 10 years and have never made so much progress as I did here.

Everyone working there has advanced degrees and are well educated and well trained. They really emphasize the value of (self-) knowledge and utilizing those things which are helpful and productive. I didn’t feel lost in the shuffle or have my individuality trivialized as has been the case in other addiction programs which were based on 12 step theology. Another good quality is the professionalism of those who work there, whereas in other treatment centers which were solely 12 step based the minimal qualifications needed to be employed included having an addiction of one’s own and having served time in prison. It is outpatient so in that way differs from an inpatient facility, but they truly do care about you. My sole concern was my medication being called in to the pharmacy being the incorrect dosages, some of which really affect things like in the case of tapering off something, etc.

Confidential Recovery Addiction Center has been a life-changing resource. The staff is not only professional and knowledgeable but also genuinely compassionate. They understand the unique needs of both civilians and military veterans, which made a huge difference in my recovery journey. As a veteran, I appreciated how they respected my background and created a safe, structured environment where I could focus on healing. The programs are evidence-based, confidential, and tailored to individual needs—no one-size-fits-all approach here. Whether you're active duty, retired, or a civilian struggling with addiction, this place treats you with dignity and purpose. Highly recommend to anyone ready to take that next step toward recovery.

My experience with CRP has been incredibly positive. The program focuses on recovery, mental health, and building healthier relationships, and it provided a safe, supportive space where I could open up without feeling pressured or judged. One of the biggest personal shifts I noticed was my ability to be more honest and vulnerable in a group setting—something I had struggled with before. CRP offers flexibility in both duration and format, with options for in-person or virtual participation. The hours are very manageable, which made it easier to stay committed. What stood out to me most was the warmth and genuine care shown by the staff. I never once felt like just another name on a list—they continued to check in with me even after I completed the program. I would absolutely recommend CRP to anyone who is looking to better understand themselves, break out of negative thought patterns, or simply feel less alone. It encourages meaningful self-reflection and the sharing of experiences, which not only helps in healing but also in connecting with others who are going through similar struggles. It’s a place where real change can begin.

Choosing Confidential Recovery was one of the best decisions I've ever made. When I came to them, I was struggling significantly with alcohol, and my life felt completely off track. Thanks to their incredible support and guidance, I've not only stopped drinking, but I've also re-established healthy routines that I thought were long gone. The team at Confidential Recovery quickly helped me get back on track with my medication, which was crucial for my overall well-being. They also motivated me to start working out again and even get back into playing sports, both of which have been incredibly beneficial for my physical and mental health. On top of that, they provided excellent resources and encouragement to help me develop better eating habits and improve my brain health and function. I'm so grateful for the comprehensive and compassionate care I received. Confidential Recovery truly understands how to help individuals reclaim their lives, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking to overcome addiction and build a healthier future.

Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program, located in San Diego, California, offers partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) for adolescents and children ages 11-19 in need of mental health care. Services include eating disorder treatment, a specialized program for adolescent students, and holistic treatment options.
Before starting this IOP program, I was in a dark place. A choking incident with food left me with debilitating anxiety, daily panic attacks, and intrusive thoughts that made it impossible to show up in my life. I had to reduce my work hours and felt completely stuck. This program gave me exactly what I needed—tangible skills from CBT, ACT, and DBT, individual therapy, and group support. It wasn’t easy to accept that I needed this level of care, and progress wasn’t always linear, but it was so worth it. On the hardest days, knowing I had a team and group members who truly listened made all the difference. I put in the work, and over time, I saw the shifts. Small at first, but they added up. Anxiety doesn't rule my life anymore and I'm able to show up in my life the way I want to

I went there my 8th grade year and i loved her. The therapist was so kind and it really felt like a family and a safe place in there. I’m glad I got the help I need and know I know how to help myself in those situations I was struggling with. I miss it everyday though!
