I've had a few stints with rehab and none even skinned the surface of what I learned here. Located on a beautiful property in the foothills of Murrieta, with in house groups led by instructors that break it down so in depth. My perspective had a total shift and I can honestly say I owe my life and the promise of a new future to this facility and it's faculty. If you're willing to do the work this is the place to get into your core issues and help you recover from the lifestyle and vices that one is addicted to. I recommend this place to anyone who wants something different from life. DBT, CBT, recovery education, family therapy are just a few of the groups and The program director and Clinical director hand picked a team that is progressive, informed, patient, caring and passionate about what they do. I encourage anyone who's seeking treatment to look into this program I first hand watched others and had my life transformed.

I LOVE the help the Rancho Creek out patient has given me!!! I needed something to continue in my sobriety. I didn’t know it at the time but THIS IS THE PLACE that made it possible for me!!!!! What you need to know about Ranch Creek Recovery: They accept health care insurance. Katie was great in helping me find the right healthcare provider and coordinating enrollment PRIOR TO ARRIVAL: coordinate which house you will be staying at (Bass or Dorrien), what day you'll be arriving, how you'll get to the program, pack a week worth of clothes including a bathing suit, books, booklight (if you plan to read, because all lightbulbs are the dimmest possible), and alarm clock (unless you like counselors walking into your space, waking you up randomly). UPON ARRIVAL: You will need to be dropped off (there is no personal parking or vehicle storage). You'll go through a search (appropriately, light pocket check and bags emptied) all electronics will be confiscated (headphones, phones, chargers, etc) and stored in a locked closet. Full inventory documented for all items. You will have up-to 3 days to DETOX as needed where you can sleep and rest privately. I personally got bored very fast and decided to join the group early rather than just sleep, but the option is available as needed. ONCE SETTLED IN: There is a 7 day blackout period where you are not allowed phone or computer use and can not have visitors or communicate with family/friends (emergency exceptions). There are typically 4 (one hour) group sessions daily, during which either worksheets are used from various therapy resources, or rehabilitation-related YouTube videos are shown. Counselors rotate based on internal scheduling. You'll have 1-2 private therapy sessions scheduled each week for one on one with Leena or Christine both are great to work with and talk to one on one. Meals are scheduled 3 times a day, residents are responsible for cooking their own meals and can "graze" in making snacks/meals as needed. DEPARTING: A close-out assessment will be completed prior to your scheduled last day with an emergency safety plan for sign off. A pick-up time will be scheduled, all itemized inventory reviewed with sign-off. an IOP Intensive Outpatient Program will be offered through RCR Ranch Creek Recovery and/or a plan for after care reviewed. NOTES: Phone use allowed 1 hour a day at night after dinner, following a 7 day blackout period. Group sessions can be "boring" lots of downtime, lots of staff turnover. There are two houses BASS & DORRIEN. Bass is the main property and where groups are held. Sleeps 6 residents. There are 3 private bedrooms each with a queen bed (one has it's own bathroom, the other 2 share a bathroom), and 1 oversized bedroom with 3 queen beds, another full bathroom by the living room. big screen smart tv, L-shaped old sofa [over-due to be replaced], matching captains chair with footrest [also ready to be replaced], eloquent dining room (dedicated as an art space), enormous dream kitchen with separate pantry room, food shopping is done once a week with a list (residents responsible to cook their own meals), Pool Table, Ping Pong,, Pool (ICE COLD), Jacuzzi (turned on Friday night only, no lights), garage with some gym equipment (you can use during free time), and a large sunny well maintained backyard is accessible. Dorrien is the "overflow" smaller secondary house about 10 minutes away. Also sleeps 6 total. 1 large bedroom with 3 beds, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, 1 master with a queen bed which shares a jack-and-jill bathroom. TV, living room, hot tub. DAILY ITENTERARY: This is where it gets a bit "grey space" .... There is a plan on paper (somewhere) and then there is reality. PAPER PLAN *I could be slightly off, as no schedule was provided wake up 7am-7:30am breakfast 8am-9am 9am-12pm & 1pm-5pm group lunch 12pm-1pm daily dinner 5pm-6pm daily free time 6pm-10pm Tuesday = Sound Therapy (AMAZING) Wednesday = Yoga (BEGINNER) Thursday = Fitness Training (NOPE) Friday = Educational Rehabilitation Movie & Horse Therapy Saturday = "outing activity" (NOPE) Sunday = Family visitation 12pm-4pm (last 2 weeks only) its helpful if youre looking to get clean. The property and people are nice overall.

Restore is a great place for those looking for compassion and mindfulness in their recovery. They go through lengths to make sure comfort is ensured with every person that comes into the facility.

My name is Susan, and I’m a recovering alcoholic and addict. I recently completed a stay at Restore Detox in Poway, and I can honestly say they helped save my life. Restore is truly a special place. The home is beautiful and peaceful, set up to host only six clients at a time, which creates an intimate, family-like atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I felt safe, supported, and understood. The staff is not only professional and knowledgeable, but they are also compassionate and genuinely invested in each person’s recovery. The amenities at Restore go far beyond what I expected. There’s a pool, hot tub, and even a pickleball court right on the property. They also bring in a personal trainer and offer yoga sessions, which really helped me reconnect with my body and start healing physically as well as emotionally. The combination of physical activity, relaxation, and structure made a huge difference in my recovery process. The group sessions were incredibly helpful and are led by staff who truly care. Even after leaving, I still attend groups because I’ve found a strong sense of community there. Restore didn’t just help me detox—they gave me tools, hope, and a new beginning. Steven Ginsburg is the owner and founder, an amazing person who fully dedicate all his free time and even non-free time till the cause and the people and community at Restore. I went to SBT a little over two years ago now on march 7th 2023, I was beat down and close to giving up due to my alcoholism and drug addiction. I had been through treatment twice before and didn’t think anything was going to change but I was willing to try. I was placed in a nice house with very knowledgeable and relatable staff members that helped guide me in my early days of detoxification. They kept me hopeful for a better life even though I felt like mine was over. The program they run is smooth and effective, they kept a close eye on me and made sure my needs were met. I can’t say enough good things about the program, my uncle passed away while I was in detox and on black out protocol and they still let me make a phone call to my family because they knew how much it would mean to me. Also had it not been for a counselor named Rachael, I’m not sure I would be sober to this day. She helped me navigate the best course of action to remain in sobriety by showing me all the resources and places I could go for after care both in my home state of WV and other options closer to their program as well. Had I not been made aware of the fact that I could go to boardwalk recovery after SBT I don’t think I would have made it as far as I have now. Thank you so much for helping me get my life back, you all are amazing people!

Best place ever. Couldn’t get sober on my own and tried every place locally and I just wasn’t ready. Decided to make the trip across country and it was the best decision of my life. Coming up on 4 years sober thanks to them. Made a lot of good friends also and the staff is great.

When I think back on my experience at Casa Palmera in Del Mar, I get a peaceful feeling because when I was there, I felt safe and cared for. It is a wonderful treatment facility and the best thing I ever did for myself! The facility itself is very peaceful with multiple courtyards, fountains, and a koi pond where we went to journal or meditate. The staff members are outstanding. Starting with the lead therapists, facilitators, and behavioral techs.. to the yoga teacher, housekeepers, and kitchen staff. I felt like everybody was so kind and compassionate. The therapists were top notch, where they really try to fit people with the a therapist to match their needs Casa incorporates a variety of practices to benefit recovery. There are AA/CA/HA, meetings; Refuge Recovery, Trauma, therapy, music, therapy, meditation, yoga… For special outings, there are beach days, hiking, horse, therapy, etc. it may seems like a frivolous detail for some, but having three meals a day and snacks prepared for me every day, and having my laundry done for me so I could focus on my recovery was the icing on the cake. I am a local, living in the area and there are so many of us in the recovery community who went there At various times, some people more than once; and we’re still like a big family Who love and support each other There are going to be people who complain about it, but I think most of those people are the ones that were in there not of their own accord, and found fault with everything. It’s not a 5-star hotel, which some seem to expect when they come. It’s a beautiful and loving recovery facility where they love you into health so you can leave there with the tools to start your lifetime of recovery. They give you the reins to take responsibility and take action for your own recovery when you leave.

This place saved my life. I came in broken, and I walked out with hope. The staff truly cares, and the support I received here was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. My overall experience was great nurse cladia was awesome! My therapist was great. Got sick the last night there, believe it was the salmon at dinner.

Villa Kali Ma changed my life in ways I couldn’t have imagined. With the constant support and love from the staff I truly feel I got my spark back. It’s a beautiful environment that cultivates nothing but positive growth. I recommend this place for everyone who is looking to heal, learn and grow. I’m so grateful for the time I had there, it’s a truly magical place.

Prior to going to Villa Kali Ma I researched many other programs, but I am so grateful that I chose VKM. The location is peaceful and beautiful, the staff are so amazing. They are kind and caring and make you feel at home. The different treatment modalities are so beneficial and I still use them outside of the program. Overall I felt like Villa Kali Ma healed me and brought me back to myself, on a spiritual and emotional level by helping me process deep rooted issues and why I really had a problem. Thank you so much to the amazing ladies at VKM, they saved my life!

I write this review two and a half years later, having thoroughly tested the tools and experienced the wonderful staff at VKM to see if the lessons and gifts provided could endure. I want to share with every woman- partners, parents, and friends- that VKM is a true temple of knowledge and healing. I arrived during a troubled time in my life: broken, vulnerable, and desperate for guidance to begin my healing journey. I followed one rule: “Be open and trust the process.” Every woman I met there has remained in my heart and is part of my ongoing healing. Each staff member was uniquely qualified to support me: diligently, caring, and knowledgeable. The intake staff includes some of the most compassionate women I have met, likely due to their past experiences, which enable them to guide others on their healing journeys. The holistic team is exceptional; more than yoga teachers, they are spiritual leaders and warriors, as we all are. The individualized schedules adapt to each person's needs. If you're fine with vegan options, the food is excellent (I emerged in the best shape of my life). These women can perform miracles if you're ready to work with them and confront your challenges with integrity. During my time there, I was accepted to a university and am now in the final leg of my B. S. in Psychology, graduating with honors. I've faced significant challenges since leaving, including a family member's cancer diagnosis and losing my sister at the young age of 47. Yes, I have stumbled and fallen over the past two years. Despite these difficulties, I write to share that the tools and healing I received from VKM helped me rise again, let go of what didn't serve me, forgive those who hurt me, and, most importantly, extend forgiveness to myself with self-compassion Thank you, Kay and ladies, for honoring your chosen path of facilitating healing in a holistic manner that honors your God-given assignment to be the Light for us Ladies in need. The fellowship is a great program for those who would like to change their lives! In my exprience as a graduate I have to say this program helped me so much to find myself. First of all Staff is amazing very great understanding people. You will never be overwhelmed at all trust me! This program is so relaxed compared to other programs I have nothing but positive things to say about the Fellowship it almost is to good to be true! Just keep your eyes on the prize and focus on your recovery and trust me Your life will be better.
