This place is AMAZING! I used VCC about 25 years ago and it was a horrible experience, so when my health ins (MediCal) insisted I use VCC recently as my provider clinic, I wasn’t too happy. That said, I’m SO HAPPY I did. Everyone here is incredibly caring and nice. My doctor is patient and all smiles. The lab dept has the nicest people as well. The facilities are super modern and clean, from the waiting rooms to the exam rooms. Everyone there is just great! Don’t hesitate to go. VCC is fantastic. 😊😊

I have used Vista Comm. Clinic since a stoke, 15 years ago, than A- Fib, Graves Disease, Blood Pressure, and every my illness, and
after care for Cancer. Am seen many doctors, some impressive others yuk. I see Cynthia Clark NP and far the best on the team. She cares, listens, attentive and treats you with respect. It just took me some time to find the one I liked. I feel she also does her best by me. People say, it's so bad there, I have to disagree with that statement. The phone operators could use little training in customer service ( maybe too fast paced for some) and be nice & kinder. They set the conversation, if their nice so our call ins, if their rude, short, mean, just plain hurry up attitude and come off like oh another call, those need more skills to handle calls and the phone line. If they set the pace of the call, the caller picks up on their attitude. The office desk girls are likable but also come off short & hurry up, I got a hot lunch date on corner waiting they also need more people skills since there are face to face and have to remember people are there because there sick & do not feel their best. It's a 2 way street and respect is earned and given at a times, we all deserve it. AM KNOWN TO RAISE MY VOICE, ONLY AFTER YOU JUST TREATED LIKE A TURD, THE POOL IS DIRTY BECAUSE OF WHO YOU ARE! Sure everywhere you have the lazy, the ones who don't like the job or care for people, old & young and dislike kids. It's a garden and management must pick the dead flowers and benefit from the blooms and rise them up. Overall: 5 stars for those who care and if you like being a 2 star person, just maybe this is not your calling in life. It's found everyone in every position you hold. Be the extra not the hold back!! Give it your all and then it's not just a job, its where you BELONG!!

I have had such a torrid tumultuous yet serene and beautiful romance with Green Oak Ranch. I graduated the program in 2010 and I loved it so much I went back and graduated again. Lol. I really do love the place, but I went back because I had walked out of the gates the first time I graduated and I left my relationship with God and my support group behind. I just wasn't done yet. Fortunately, I didn't die while adding more horrible experiences to my testimony.
I knew I needed to go back because I truly met Jesus while I was there. I experienced REAL Christian fellowship with beautiful peopls who shared similar struggles as mine. I hear all the stories about how the staff developed issues in recent years. But, I can only attest to what I experienced while I was there. I believe that God handpicked each and every staff member while I was there. Beautiful souls who "figured it out". They devoted their lives to helping point others to Christ. They gave up lucrative careers to fulfill the purpose that God had for their lives. I didn't always get along with the staff (go figure a recovering addict who doesn't always jive with authority, hahaha)
It was thru all of the people that I was blessed to cross paths with while I was in the program that I got a taste of what true joy was. For the first time in my life I had a peace that I could never do justice to by trying to put it into words.
But, even after experiencing that I made the choice to go and "return to my own vomit" as scripture says. After running amuck for several months my health began to decline. But, not my physical health. My mental health had been truly tested and I was for the first time in my life failing that test. My pride wouldn't allow me to call Mary or Carl Fielstra (love you both..RIP Carl). My confidence was non-existent, I had no relationship with God. I told myself that God wouldn't want me back anyways. I was hopeless and I planned to take my life. I went to the store to get some things that I needed to make that happen. While heading out of the the Big 5 with a box of .38 caliber rounds I headed towards my car. I noticed my shoelace was untied ao I bent down to tie it. While I was crouched i heard footsteps and before i could even look up I saw a pair of Lugz Boots that I recognized without hesitation. I stood up and there was Green Oak Staff Member and "Triple OG" Carlos Atkinson (alright....alright). He and I had become close during my previous time at the Ranch. He didn't say a thing and neither did I for a few minutes. I hid the box of ammo behind my back. Carlos looked me in the eyes and said "Gabe we gonna get you some help ok?" And I threw my arms around him cuz I had wanted help for a while but my pride kept me from asking. 3 weeks later I entered residential treatment at Green Oak for the last time.
Sorry for the novel. But, that is what Green Oak once was. People have their reason for why they love Green Oak Ranch. They have many reasonswhy they go camping there every year or why they volunteer there on Thanksgiving. Or, like me, they have reasons why they knew they needed to "come home" again.
I'm sure there are countless reasons why people fell in love with the Ranch. Those are icing on the cake. The real reason people go back for any reason is because they saw Jesus at the Ranch.
It's hard seeing the place change. Pretty soon the Ranch won't be the Ranch. I pray for Solutions for Change that the land will be used to help the widows and orphans.
Yep, the Ranch is for the most part now just a memory. I'm gonna throw this out there. There are plenty of places with land. I pray for the funds and the right people to step up. Maybe Green Oak Ranch hasn't seen its last hurrah? Maybe God just wants to find a different venue.
He who has ears....
Oh by the way..... after Carlos let go of hugging me he Snatched the box of bullets I hid behind my back and he said, "Gimme the receipt".
He smacked me on the back of my head and said "you better get up outta here before I show you how we do in "Detroit". Haha.

Tri-City Outpatient Behavioral Health Program has been the only program that has helped me through the difficult times, on my journey with depression. This is my third time going through the process & each time I learn even more about myself & my environment. At a time when excellent psychiatrists & therapists are hard to find, Tri-City Behavioral Health has the best. This year I’m blessed to be able to join my therapy sessions & groups via Zoom. I highly recommend this program. I would give it ten stars if I could.

I came out a whole new person. The staff there are great, and the supervisor Shawana is also amazing, I respect her a lot. She truly cares for us and I really looked up to her! The therapists there were also great. All the staff were really good with handling situations like bullying or and drama.
