Dr. Kushnir tries to make you laugh because he knows that will make you better. I am just so concerned about lead and the bad things it does when we eat it. I think we should make a law to only source our pencil ink (black) from Turkey there's no lead in the Haggis Sophia and they have buildings where it's accumulates and then they turn it into ink such a lovely none lead black ink out of Istanbul (Turkey) 🦃 or at least I wouldn't think it would but don't go around eating pencils or stabbing yourself with a pen idiot those German ones with the casing in plastic is how the hospital ones came in Niagara Falls that you couldn't hurt anything with it although probably not considered edible.

I was referred to Revive from Grossmont Medical to obtain continuity of care due to our rapid, out of state return to California. Traci, my provider was thorough and interested in taking a complete history. The patient navigator helped me with the paperwork and was welcoming and professional. The medical assistants were great--I shrunk 1/4 of an inch and have to lose ten pounds! The front desk manager had the whole process down and made it look easy. Which it is not. I go back in a week and am very grateful for the care and consideration I received.

I just want to say thank you so much for Thomas for assisting me in completing the program. It's been an agonizing 14 years on my part to finally complete the program. To all the disgruntled people that leave bad reviews or give the staff an attitude, take a hard look in the mirror, NO ONE forced you to drink and drive and to pay the consequences of YOUR actions! These people have a job to do and to treat them with disrespect is utterly vile! Show some human decency and respect! It's not their fault but YOUR OWN!

I have struggled with alcohol abuse for the last three years and this was the ONE place out of 23 treatment centers that finally worked. Nobody ever thought they would see me sober, but today I can say I am, thanks to Sober Life. I was a frequent relapser, just barely making it by, and when I decided to seek treatment through Sober Life a whole new world opened for me. The team at Sober Life cares. I felt valued, I felt empowered, understood and heard. After being in and out of so many treatment centers I found myself fatigued, but through my process with Sober Life I actually wanted to continue my program as long as I could. I WANTED to be there and I've learned a life I never knew possible thanks to the team there. I can say that this program likely saved my life, and showed me a new life that I could never have imagined. The support and understanding was beyond belief. I felt so safe there. I've made friendships with a lot of my peers from groups as well. Which I never wanted to do before. Recovery can be difficult to begin, scary to start, but Sober Life feels SAFE. I'm not the type to write reviews, but I know how hard I struggled and for anyone reading this or questioning a start, I highly recommend this team. I am eternally grateful for my experience there.

Sober life has been one of the best experiences in my life! I came in not really sure what I wanted out of treatment and scared to really connect with people and have them see me in my weaker moments. All of the staff at sober life loved me through these issues and helped me get to a place where I felt safe and comfortable enough to communicate what was really going on with me, and gave me the tools I needed to be able to deal with things as they came up on a daily basis. Anytime I was a little off or lost any amount of momentum, they noticed immediately and did whatever they could to make sure I continued my progress and that even though addiction is a lonely disease, it became a lot easier to believe I wasnt alone and recovery is possible. It wasn't complicated at all, they handle the insurance stuff for you so you can focus and prioritize your recovery over anything else. Kimberly, Dan, Ashley, and Kelley have all been huge grounding stones in my recovery, showing up every time and helping me make solutions out of chaos. Having all of these amazing, kind, and extremely dependable people in my life has kept me steady and also taught me what having people around who genuinely love you, want the best for you, and who celebrate your achievements and help you through your downfalls looks like. Like any recovery program, you have to want it and put in your own effort, but they make the weight just lighter enough that it seems much more attainable.

My father has been attending this recovery place. Watching someone you love struggle is one of the most painful experiences life can offer. My father’s journey with addiction affected not only him, but our entire family. This rehab gave my dad a chance to step away from the chaos and begin to face the pain that fueled his addiction. This place has treated him greatly and I'll be forever grateful for what they have done. Since entering the program a few months ago, he has begun the hard work of healing. I finally feel like I have my dad back and could not be more thankful for the staff and everyone else included, truly. I HIGHLY recommend this place for someone and/or a family member struggling with addiction.

Life-Changing Experience at Pacific Bay Recovery Center As a mom, choosing a rehab for my son was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. After researching countless facilities in San Diego, we decided on Pacific Bay Recovery Center, and I can confidently say it was the best decision we ever made. Pacific Bay didn’t just help my son recover—they saved his life. From the very beginning, they treated him like family. The care and compassion from every staff member, from the therapist and psychiatrist to the case managers, were unparalleled. They didn’t just see my son as another patient; they truly invested in his well-being and future. The individualized attention he received made all the difference. The therapists were deeply insightful, helping him understand and address the root causes of his struggles. The psychiatrist provided thoughtful, expert guidance, and the case managers were a source of constant support, ensuring he stayed on track every step of the way. Beyond the clinical care, the atmosphere at Pacific Bay is warm and welcoming—a safe haven for anyone seeking to rebuild their life. They created a nurturing environment where my son felt seen, heard, and valued. Today, my son is thriving, and it’s all thanks to the dedicated team at Pacific Bay. I am forever grateful to them for giving me my son back and helping him rediscover hope, purpose, and joy. If you’re looking for a place that goes above and beyond to treat your loved one with the care they deserve, I cannot recommend Pacific Bay Recovery Center highly enough.

Staff: 4.5/5 Owner, Director, therapists, nurses, counselors, and support staff are all really great. I had no issues with anyone in particular. They are all there to help you however they can. I found that everyone advocated for my well being, were available when I needed them, and did their best to support me, check in on me, and make sure I was happy and comfortable. (why not 5/5? They have had a bunch of turnover and need to update their website with their newer staff members and qualifications. Additionally the Doctors they partner with were not as thorough as I would have wanted, and were kind of pushy with medications) Program: 4/5 Small groups for the win! You get a lot of attention if you need it. This is a Holistic approach rehab. They do not focus on any 12 step programs. You have daily classes with different counselors, focusing on the science behind addiction, anger management, talk therapy, art therapy, equine therapy, nutrition, and much more. You have one-on-one sessions twice a week with a Licensed Therapist, and you have access to a gym daily, with a yoga instructor and trainer coming a few times a week. You also have a docent that comes once a week to do sound therapy, and you can learn techniques such as tapping. They have 2 doctors on staff you will have Zoom appointments with, and someone is always present to distribute morning, afternoon, and bedtime medication. You can also always grab whomever is on-call to talk through any issues or questions you have. (why not 5/5? Overall I found that there was too much down-time. I got bored and restless with that much free time and I craved more structure. Additionally I thought that the family Zoom sessions could have served as a stronger resource for loved ones) Location: 4/5 Murrieta is a quiet, tranquil area, with mountain views, a lot of farmland, and very little public noise to distract you. When you do leave the house, you get to visit a small farm that is very close by to interact with horses and goats, etc. You also have an outing on Saturdays for a few hours that allows you as a group to get out of the house. The immediate area has all the basic stores and activities you would want, like target/walmart/grocery/7-11/etc as well as mini golf, bowling... You do need to decide as a group where you want to go because you have 1 chaperone and need to stay together at all times. (why not 5/5? There are 2 different houses located about 10 minutes away from each other. The Bass house advertised on the website is much nicer and larger than the Doreen house. During my time the clients staying at the Doreen house were shuttled over to the Bass house for our daily classes and sessions, not being able to utilize their own kitchen, rooms, and bathrooms during the day. I was also told by clients that the Doreen house was not as nice as the Bass House) Amenities: 4/5 Pool - (I was there in the winter, so it was not heated and basically unusable, however, I did do some cold plunges just for the shock) Hot tub - available once a week on Friday evenings Yard - Large Grass Backyard and cement patio with tables and chairs Gym - Available daily. TV for movies or music. Free weights, yoga mats, and a few outdated cardio machines that mostly worked. Kitchen - Large kitchen, multiple Fridges/Freezers, Huge pantry for preparing anything you want, ovens, microwave, toasters, dishwasher, outdoor gas grill, etc... Pool table, ping pong table, arts and crafts table, outdoor TV, Indoor TV, Computer, land-line house phone. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms with laundry access, and provided bedding and towels. (why not 5/5? I was disappointed that it wasn't clear that the pool and hot tub didn't have daily access as advertised, and that the gym was more outdated than described/pictured. They also could make some very inexpensive recreation investments like a basketball for their outdoor hoop, soccer ball, frisbees, croquet set, bocce, etc for their giant lawn to be used during the extensive downtime)

Soda/Snack Vending machines available = Bring Cash. Compared to most treatment centers this place is awesome. You won’t get along with all the staff but I found Vince and Don (Sarge) to always be respectful and helpful. Thank you again

Choosing Kingdom Security was the best decision I have made in a while. I went there to get my guard card, and the staff were absolutely amazing. Simple, easy, fast process. Also, they went above and beyond to make sure that you not only understand the material, but also what it looks like real life by providing examples/scenarios.

I am beyond happy with the service i receive here, they truly care, it’s not a fake care facility they want you to succeed. I would recommend to anyone suffering from anxiety, depression, ptsd etc… to come here you won’t be disappointed. The counselors are caring the therapist are dedicated to you and the Psychiatrist has raised the bar in what I will look for when I need a new one. You must at least check it out if you’re looking for a facility. I love Valenta!

The head psychiatrist honestly gave me the creeps. It almost feels like he got pleasure from my trauma. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I never felt wanted. I stayed a year and then left. I can tell that several of the people there didn't like me. One of the people saw me as an angry person and the worst thing that can happen to a client is to be seen as someone negative and not nice to be around. Last thing I wanted to be was that so I left. Let them have their nice place without me.

I have had the experience of having a loved one hospitalized at API and be treated in their intensive outpatient program and have been a client of their outpatient trauma and mental health intensive therapy. In both the care and compassion of the inpatient hospital staff and the full service outpatient program which includes transportation to and from home if needed, API truly lived up to their reputation for exemplary patient services and effective personalized care. Thank you API for saving lives and making them worth living .

Located in San Diego, California, MHS Families Forward Wraparound provides wraparound services to children, teens, adults, and families. Services are provided on an outpatient basis. It is important to note that this is not an alcohol and drug rehab program, so if addiction is the primary concern, a referral to a treatment center may be necessary.
Families Forward saved my son's life. Progressive mental illness and they assisted with Wrap services and placement in residential facility. He has been there for 6 months and is regulated and on track to graduate.
