I write this review two and a half years later, having thoroughly tested the tools and experienced the wonderful staff at VKM to see if the lessons and gifts provided could endure. I want to share with every woman- partners, parents, and friends- that VKM is a true temple of knowledge and healing. I arrived during a troubled time in my life: broken, vulnerable, and desperate for guidance to begin my healing journey. I followed one rule: “Be open and trust the process.” Every woman I met there has remained in my heart and is part of my ongoing healing. Each staff member was uniquely qualified to support me: diligently, caring, and knowledgeable. The intake staff includes some of the most compassionate women I have met, likely due to their past experiences, which enable them to guide others on their healing journeys. The holistic team is exceptional; more than yoga teachers, they are spiritual leaders and warriors, as we all are. The individualized schedules adapt to each person's needs. If you're fine with vegan options, the food is excellent (I emerged in the best shape of my life). These women can perform miracles if you're ready to work with them and confront your challenges with integrity. During my time there, I was accepted to a university and am now in the final leg of my B. S. in Psychology, graduating with honors. I've faced significant challenges since leaving, including a family member's cancer diagnosis and losing my sister at the young age of 47. Yes, I have stumbled and fallen over the past two years. Despite these difficulties, I write to share that the tools and healing I received from VKM helped me rise again, let go of what didn't serve me, forgive those who hurt me, and, most importantly, extend forgiveness to myself with self-compassion Thank you, Kay and ladies, for honoring your chosen path of facilitating healing in a holistic manner that honors your God-given assignment to be the Light for us Ladies in need. I came to monte defeated, tired, and hopeless. i d spent many years in my eating disorder and had gone through multiple treatment centers and walked out of those feeling exactly the same as when i admitted. montecatini was different than any other treatment center id admitted to, the dietary, medical, and clinical support was significantly more helpful and involved than any other treatment center i ve been in. The patience, empathy, & support i received from everyone on my team & those that weren t directly on my team as well was such a big part of my healing journey in this. i struggled there, for many months and every single one of them continued to believe in me & my ability to get out of the depths of this disorder. my psychiatrist yasamine who was patient with me and my resistance to medication, my PA brynn who was so caring and so respectful of any physical boundaries or fears i had, as well as taking my health seriously, my dietitian lexy who continued to fight for me and support me while i was struggling so much to cope without my eating disorder, and sat with me and supported me while i allowed myself to express & feel things i ve never talked about, my therapist dom who gave amazing insight & support, my therapist kayla in php who listened to me, understood where i was at in php, and helped me achieve my goal of graduating program, and clinical support sandy who sat with me, listened to my fears, and did everything she could to support me. as well as leah, natalie, rayanne, liron, and many others behind the scenes. i was offered so much help and support from the CEO and Christina from UR.i was in this program for 9 months total. i admitted october 2023 and graduated july 2024.this treatment center isn t perfect, and you ll never find one that is. there will always be things you can pick out of a place that will be hard to sit with, but when it comes down to the important things that really matter, the support, medical, clinical, and dietary, i walked away with a better understanding of my struggle, and have way more freedom from this eating disorder than i ever have. i get to truly live now.

This is a very thorough program covering counseling, IOPs, and housing needs. Not only do they understand the patient, they are also very well connected in the recovery ecosystem and guide you to further steps as needed. They work with your needs, and also believe in second chances (can't be grateful enough for that!).Highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to find support for a loved one.
