Almost everyone that I know who has been there agrees. They not only focus on the addiction but what the addiction has done to you and how to get you back. They helped me get my license back, get my teeth fixed, my social security card, helped resolve my legal issues and got me to a mental health professional as well. They have a good influence with the courts which helped keep me from doing 2 additional years in jail. Robert was my counselor and I couldn't have asked for a better one. HGR is a very intimate recovery center. Detox was far easier than I ever expected, the comfort meds worked wonders and for the first 7-12 days nothing at all is expected of you. Just time to get healthy. Even after the first week everything is so chill. It's in a 7 bedroom beautiful home in a new residential area and everyone gets there own room, so there's never more than 6 people max. Both Doctors are very knowledgeable and helpful. Just let them know exactly how you're feeling and they will give you the right meds that will work. There are 1 hour groups at least once a day and sometimes twice that will help grow your coping skills, and you'll have 1 on 1's with the group counselors at least twice a week that will go much further in depth if that's what you want or need. Since I've been here(I've been here for 29 days now) we've gone on multiple hikes and we go to the pool at least once a week. Sunday's are family days, most people leave Sundays but since my family is in Alaska I got to spend the days watching TV and eating all the good food they have here. I was here for opioids and never thought I'd survive them during my active addiction. If I can, then you can. Trust me, I know how difficult it is to surrender to your addiction and pick up that phone, but you can, and if you do I can assure you that you can defeat your alcoholism or drug addiction which I would've never thought possible before. I'm finally proud of myself for once, and in 2 days when I leave I'll have a family that is genuinely proud of me as well. My father’s journey with addiction affected not only him, but our entire family. This rehab gave my dad a chance to step away from the chaos and begin to face the pain that fueled his addiction. After our insurance changed, we were able to start treatment at Evolve. From the very beginning, I felt that we were in good hands. The staff are well trained and the program is well designed. You don't end up here because you wanna be here. That being said they worked with us as a family so well. I really liked that. They involve you in the treatment and try to ensure that you will have the tools necessary to help your child continue on their path of healing. The path is BUMPY, and it heartbreaking. I remember graduating out of program thinking I don't know if I am ready to do it without them. They helped us navigate tough topics and issues our teen would shut down on us with. Helped us see each other's sides. Helped our teen see themeself. When we graduated out were ok and we did move forward on our own. As a family we are so thankful for the staff at Evolve and the forever impact they have made on our child's life. The skills they shared, our kiddo still uses. I had been to 4 rehabs before this one, and not a single one had ever helped me get my addiction under control. It’s about a year later now and I can proudly say I’ve been sober ever since I went there. The location is absolutely perfect, the counselors and employees are knowledgeable and extremely helpful, and the community there was better than any of the other rehabs I went to. The only reason they lose a star is because they started charging my lab work to my out of pocket card instead of billing it through my insurance, causing me to suddenly owe over 100,000$ in the middle of my stay. I got it figured out so thank god I didn’t have to pay anything, but still I can’t even begin to imagine what would have happened if I hadn’t figured that out. It never happened again and I didn’t hear anyone else say it happened to them so I’m inclined to believe it was actually just an honest mistake. And a whole team in the neuroscience ICU, Special shout out to charge nurse Amy, Night Shift nurse Hoymyra, and day shift nurses David and JP Their care for the patient and the family members was amazing. They will never know truly how grateful I am for them. They will be in my prayers.! My grandmother was there for almost 2 weeks and I pretty much did not leave her side. We have family members staying overnight with her as well. And the care we received, at the hardest time of our lives by these individuals was truly incredible. So one more time thank you so much the whole team you all are angels🙏🩷 we are home now, and the whole transition was so supported by the doctors social worker case worker, To make sure we have everything we need to take her home.
