It all started with a call to Hew he flew me out the next day he would have flown me that day I was just so nervous I got here Dec 31, 2024 it was close to midnight No one was banging pots & pans for the New Year they were there to take care if you. I am literally crying everyone the Techs, nurses, nurse practioner, cook, therapist case manager These are the group of people that were exceception!! you know how some people you just don’t like them annoying especially going threw this I had a nurse Rose a beautiful Tech they sat up with me two nights my pressure was down I couldnt take anything a nuse practioner Mia no matter where you were or what time it was She was there & fighting for you she made sure my insurance was giving me the shot I needed Kyle my therspist all the therapist whobwe had for group, we were changing our lives they helped us threw the day taught us so much, even planting days out movies, bowling, Ben our guy to take us to meetings, dont play Taylor Swift lol but he did take us to 7-11 for a snacks I could go on & on and on, nurse supervisor I dont want to destroy her nameI’m a bad speller, lol Mark tough on me and I needed it, , the Techs OMG you know who you are !!! much love the cooks let say this I gained a lot of weight , movie theator, gym, Not to forget the group of people I took this journey with I am still in contact with them we supported one another we cried laugh together we were all there to break these chains that were holding us down we broke the chains together I am forever grateful to all of these people that were a part of my journey we still have or group chat these are the people I want in my life changed the people & fridnds, check !! You know I don’t even remember how I found this place my dr had me on a lot of pills for decades ir just got worse I needed a change God knows what would have happened it woud’nt be good all I wanted was to get out of Jersey far away that I couldnt run from I didnt see the pictures of this place, Calorfornia here I come When I got off the plane there was a tech holding my name & so we begin These pictures they posted believe me there is so much more the grounds stunning relaxing the pool sitting there seeing the mountains, you can see a horse being trained, the turtle on the side of the house, the goats one guy was from Wyoming his face just glew he never seen or fed goats after the detox your transferred to another house O M G I felt like a Kardasion no kidding my room double doors to a patio I just sat in peace seeing the beauty of these mointakns I’m a city gal, the hummibirds Extraordinary at night 3 bunnies came every night I can hear Ben yelling not to feed them at the time I had 3 grandchilren I missed them so much I named them after them & they honestly they gave me much comfort… ok I could right a novel about this place if you need to fix your life break those chsins GO HERE your going to get that help break those chains in a serene environment with these people that are going to change your life isnt that what were seeking make thst call you will not regret it I’m still here in the mental health program working as a house manager I did it you can do it ..

Bayview is a wonderful facility with a professional and caring staff, who are support in your goals and helping you to accomplish them. The process was easy and professional from checking in to graduating the program. The facilitators of sessions are engaging and try to further deeper thoughts for conversations and the counselors are the best I have had the pleasure of working with. I would recommend this program to anyone seeking a new journey.

The hospital really works to provide the kind of care someone needs in a mental crisis. Staff are knowledgeable, plenty of activities and therapy to help the patient make progress.

I voluntarily admitted myself here for the Detox program from alcohol. I know that you as a person has to be just tired of it for it to stick. I left here free of alcohol dependency and now 3 years later, happy to have chosen sobriety. Sobriety is hard work but so was being an alcoholic. Thank ya'll so much👏🫶

I’ve been inpatient 3 times and outpatient for months in both 2023 and 2025. I was a part of the ED program in early 2025 and it felt like a very safe and tight knit group. I appreciate the high level of support I was getting.

Dr. Bell is the best doctor. She is very thorough, very caring about her patients. My friend is in the best care with her expertise... We drive 45 minutes to come see her and this is worth it. Thank you Dr. Bell

The clinic does not do knee and back brace fitting, therefore you have to go to VA La Jolla to get them issued.

I've been going here for the last 12 years and have found the services to be responsive and timely. They occasionally make scheduling mistakes, but overall it's a good clinic.

I wanna say the la Jolla recovery has the most compassionate staff I've ever met . Every one from the medical to the cook is respectful & have been in recovery themselves so they really understand. I wanted to shout out Francisco & Nate & the rest of the medical staff for the wonderful care I received from them .( I came in with alot of medical issues) Also of of the staff at Dimond & Corona for all of the help from both places .They are the best ♡♡♡♡

La Jolla Revovery provided the support and stability I needed in order to get back to my life and return to my responsibilities! I will forever be grateful for this program and can’t thank them enough for all they have done for me!

I went to La Jolla recovery from August to December of 2025. I had been to 4 rehabs before this one, and not a single one had ever helped me get my addiction under control. It’s about a year later now and I can proudly say I’ve been sober ever since I went there. The location is absolutely perfect, the counselors and employees are knowledgeable and extremely helpful, and the community there was better than any of the other rehabs I went to. The only reason they lose a star is because they started charging my lab work to my out of pocket card instead of billing it through my insurance, causing me to suddenly owe over 100,000$ in the middle of my stay. I got it figured out so thank god I didn’t have to pay anything, but still I can’t even begin to imagine what would have happened if I hadn’t figured that out. It never happened again and I didn’t hear anyone else say it happened to them so I’m inclined to believe it was actually just an honest mistake. Aside from that this place was perfect and I would highly recommend it

My experience at Restore was genuinely meaningful. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with dignity, compassion, and respect during a time I needed all three. Everyone I interacted with made an effort to understand me as a person, not just someone going through a difficult chapter. I felt supported without feeling judged, and cared for without feeling like I had lost my independence. The environment was comfortable, private, and much more welcoming than I expected from a detox and recovery center. The combination of care, structure, support, and genuine human connection gave me the space I needed to ground myself and think clearly about what I wanted to do moving forward. Restore and the people there had a real impact on me, and I left feeling stronger and more hopeful than when I walked through the doors. I would absolutely recommend Restore. Asking for help can be one of the hardest decisions someone makes. I’m grateful Restore was there when I made mine.

So what do I say about Steven and Restore Detox Centers? When I entered through the doors of this facility, I was a completely defeated and tormented soul as a result of the ravages of addiction. I had arrived at the end of myself! All my own ideas about how to live my life had failed me, but THIS is precisely where the LIGHT stepped in and met me; in the total darkness of my own demolition, destruction, degeneration, degradation and demoralization. I was hopeless! I didn't believe that I could recover from this seemingly hopeless state of mind and body and like the song by America, "Lonely People" states, I believed that "life had passed me by." Well, here I am some time later, and I can HONESTLY share with you, from the very Top of my heart, that my life is indescribably wonderful now. My seconds and minutes and hours of each day were filled with torment and dread! When my son experienced a relapse, he was only at this facility for a couple of days, but those three days left a lasting impression on our family. From the very beginning, Steven treated both my son and us with genuine compassion, honesty, and respect. He didn't offer false promises or sugarcoat the challenges of recovery, but he also never lost sight of our son as a person who deserved hope and dignity. It was clear that he truly cared—not just about getting someone through detox, but about helping them find a path to lasting recovery. As a parent, feeling understood and supported during such a difficult time meant more than I can express. I am deeply grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and authentic concern we experienced. The Fellowship is hands down the best rehab. Almost everyone that I know who has been there agrees. They not only focus on the addiction but what the addiction has done to you and how to get you back. They helped me get my license back, get my teeth fixed, my social security card, helped resolve my legal issues and got me to a mental health professional as well. They have a good influence with the courts which helped keep me from doing 2 additional years in jail. Robert was my counselor and I couldn't have asked for a better one. If you are trying to figure out where to go or send your loved one, just ask anyone who has been there. I'd bet that 99% of people who go there would recommend.

The employees at Dr. Corbin office are so helpful and accommodating. Maria was exceptional this visit. Dr Corbin is very knowledgeable and is an excellent doctor. I highly recommend this doctor and the office staff!

Health issues can strike quickly and from nowhere, they can linger and become chronic. Dr. Corbin has been my primary since I was reassigned to him years ago and the craziest thing happened— he listened to me. I am a frequent flyer of doctors for the last decade— and when you find a good one- you keep them on the roster. The entire squad at all the SYH locations are brilliant! Dr. Corbin and his team are my home team! Courteous, kind, and through the years some funny anecdotes. I could not be more grateful to Dr. Corbin, Taj, Yolanda, Maria, the front desk, the security guard— each a special character for helping navigate the tedious and painful journey to run smoothly, respectfully, and sprinkled with smiles. There is no better care you can find than with Dr. Corbin & CO. I am and will be forever in your debt. Thanks for hearing me, helping me— and laughing at my jokes. Great staff and a great place to get clean and sober

Good rehab center

This place is predatory, as in they are money hungry and prey on addicts under the guise of helping them. They are only friendly to you when you are paying them; anytime after that, they will treat you with disrespect and intimidation. They use outdated statistical information and attempt to brainwash you into being dependent on them. While there is a lot of useful information and services they can direct you toward, this third party company is only interested in taking your money and treating you as less-than-human. In my experience, Dale Walters, the in-take coordinator and class teacher, was only friendly toward me when I was paying him money for the program. Afterward, he treated me with disrespect by insulting me in front of the rest of the class, talking to me as if I were five years old and consistently disregarding my personal space by knocking over my water bottle and saying, "oh, I don't care about anything beneath my knees." This has been my experience and I hope it helps shed light on the poor practices of this company and its employees.
