California wellness center helped save me from myself. There kind and knowledgeable staff gave me the tools to work through my addiction and mental issues at my own pace. Always ready to lend an ear and offer valuable advice. While the case manager Jason was expertly guiding me through getting me leave and work problems squared away. The techs Eddie, Dennis and Kelsey were fun and engaging. While also providing me with the care I needed. The entire process from start to finish was a godsend. Everyone from Will the owner to the medical Staff Marry and Stephanie made me feel welcomed and valued. This place is more than a Rehab, is a place of healing and rest all the while doing exactly as the said they would. Helping you become you best self. I will forever be happy that I made the decision to come and be apart of the California wellness family.

My son just completed a 30 day program at SoCal Sunrise and we could not be more pleased. Andrew, Shannon and Ally as well as all of the staff were incredibly kind, patient and supportive. My son was at this facility for about 45 days and discharged recently. The staff were kind and efficient and took care of everything he needed on time. Specially, Andrew (project manager) and Shannon (case worker) tried to find a right place very hard as a aftercare program for my son even though it passed over scheduled discharging date. They were responsible and reliable. Thanks for your work ! Andrew and Shannon !!

I cannot express my thanks adequately enough for the staff at Hillside Mission and the Programming they provide. I was almost out of hope when I reached out to the owner. Since then, my loved one is currently sober, participating in life and for the first time, in a long time, I feel like I have them back and there is hope. No one knows what tomorrow holds but today, there is peace. So 4 outta five is high for me. This place is far from perfect. But if you think there’s a perfect treatment center out there, it’s time to snap back. Let’s be honest, for those of us looking for places like this online, our lives are far from perfect. Typically we’re looking for excuses why not to go rather than reasons to go. I never read the reviews because someone always has an ax to grind. Instead of grinding axes, I’ll just say this time was different. 6th trip in 2&1/2 yrs to treatment. Places I’d rate higher. But it was Windward Way where I was able to find the missing pieces of my puzzle and my hidden secrets that were keeping me sick. You only get out of treatment what you put in. I entered detox with the gift of desperation. It wasn’t amenities and luxuries that made the difference. It was a frontline staff that lives and breathes recovery and genuinely cares about the clients. All the BHTs, group facilitators, my therapist, case worker, & med staff pour their souls into this work. Their love and concern overrides any complaints I could muster. I’m the hardest of cases. The breath in my lungs is a legion of miracles. But the fact that I’m happy joyous and free today is a testament to the effort, care, and concern of people like Mark, Tony, Ottis, Jerald, Sina, Andrew, Saul, Kenny, Andria, Adam, Kelly, Nick, Shaina, Didi, Casa, Thomas, Sarah, Emily, Bryce, John AKA Pouter, Josh, Matt (still got hair envy bro), Gauge, Armand, of course Javon, PA Shapiro (I hope that’s right because his management of my PAWS was spot on) and a few other angels whose names allude me at the moment. Go meet them. It just might save your life, family, job, freedom, and/or many other things. Give yourself a break. Check your pride at the door, stop making excuses and let these people show you a better way live. Besides, there are worse places to get clean and sober than Orange County, SoCal!!! What y’all thought I wouldn’t have good stuff to say?! I’m SOBER not stupid. Now anyways. Thanks Windward Way!!!

I showed up to Treehouse ready to change but i didn't know how to make these changes. Anything i tried alone always seemed to fail until i was accepted into the treehouse family. They showed me how to handle simple to complex tasks with a rational clear thinking mind. They gave me the tools and confidence to stay in a state of gratitude day in and day out. They solidified my hard working ethics and gave me a place to call home. We worked hard and we had a lot of fun. I particularly love the ocean (surfing, diving, skimboarding) so being on the boats with the team was my favorite part of the physical modalities. I owe it big time to the clinical staff for listening intently, caring and asking the right questions at the right time to help me work through a lifetime of baggage.

I went there in November of 2024 because I was desperate to get help. They were very helpful with getting me there, checking with me before I got there, and making sure I didn't change my mind about going (as most of us do when It comes to getting sober). I had an awesome time there, the staff was great (they had their off days, as us alcoholics/addicts do). We were busy most all day every day. They take you to the gym 3x a week, they do panels, and outside meetings as well. The facility itself is clean, there's laundry machines, snacks & coffee on deck 24/7, they take you to the vape shop and wal mart once a week, and they are working on more outside activities. There were tvs and DVD players in every unit with a TON of dvds. No bed time so you are free to roam around the facility or chill and watch TV. The groups got a little boring (but if you are with a good group of guys they are a lot of fun and informative). The way insurance and every thing works was a little frustrating because it's on a weekly basis if you stay on the treatment side or go to phase 2. You are allowed your phone 3x a day for a hour each time. The units are awesome, it is an apartment (if you go try to get into the one above the kitchen on the left haha). Mike who is one of the main dudes is an awesome person! I am currently on day 63 and if it weren't for the lighthouse I would most likely be either dead or in the process of drinking myself to death. If you are in need of help, do the hard thing and ask for it. The money, job, or whatever it is that is keeping you from going won't be there much longer if you continue to do what you're doing. I love you all and hope this helps!

This Rehab facility was absolutely life-changing for me. There are so many great things I could list about this place. The staff were knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly and MOST of all: EXTREMELY accommodating and understanding with requests. The house was located in a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood with absolute stunning views overlooking the ocean. The fun activities and experiences/outings were extremely helpful coping skills for my mental health and cravings. At Laguna View Detox it is evident that the staff care about you from the time you walk in the front door.I would like to point out that while this experience was amazing, there are a couple of things I would like to point out as areas for growth and improvement.1. Food - the food was sub-par in my humble opinion. While they do cater to dietary restrictions and allergies, there were many occasions that felt like the same food was repetitive, less-healthy, and lacked the right amount to serve everyone to their satisfaction. It would have been nice to maybe have the option for meal prep or an activity cooking course to teach people the skill and value in cooking together as well as considering a part-time chef position to develop those skills in staff and clients alike.2. Staff/clients - While 90% of the staff/clients were absolutely amazing, there were a couple that maybe could ve brought more value to the table or fulfilled their duties so others wouldn t have to suffer the consequences. It s not fair nor realistic to expect perfection from everyone but it is possible to differentiate those that are there to just collect a paycheck or take advantage of the care the system provides. These problems will undoubtedly always arise in every work environment and company alike thus should be expected time to time. The higher management can hopefully take more proactive measures to prevent the house becoming a toxic environment as well as addressing the problems at the core of the individuals.Once again I would highly recommend this place to anyone seriously committed to attaining a peaceful and healthy life of sobriety. I am forever indebted and grateful to LVD for my experience. I am also proud of myself for making the best of this opportunity and utilizing all the tools, skills and knowledge taught from the wise and relatable staff.I have made life-long friends, relationships, coping skills and knowledge that I will carry throughput my lifetime toward sobriety. I just wanted to thank you all for everything.Much love,Joe

I would give 10 stars if I could. I called the number on their webpage in the early morning on a Sunday and their director of intake, T.J. answered . He listened to me try to explain the nightmare I m living in with my son and he made me feel so much more calm and I felt as if I was talking to a friend or family. It was amazing. He found my son a place in their facility right away and explained the process and what to expect, even sharing his own experiences. I have never dealt with this before so I had a lot of catching up to do and I was literally in the midst of a serious crisis with my son which is already enough. I don t think I could ve handled this situation without the patience and support everyone at Laguna Detox but especially T.J. offered me. Unfortunately our insurance declined us in the 11th hour which was petrifying, but TJ called me himself and gave me a handful of alternative places and helped me call them and check for availability. What a difference that made. TJ ended up finding the best alternative in our area and hours later I had my son in their care and he s getting the attention and care he deserves and I can finally take a deep sigh of relief. TJ reached out throughout the entire process giving us his support and care and even checked in a couple days into my sons treatment to see how we were doing. TJ is one of those humans you pray for when you or anyone you love is in a crisis. Just a gem! Thank you TJ and Laguna Detox, I appreciate you and would recommend you to anyone.

I had hip replacement surgery over a year ago but never got around to writing a review. Everything about my 2024 surgery and hospital stay in Laguna went really well. A very positive experience! The hospital pre-surgery online class was so worthwhile; very informative and they answered a lot of questions which helped me feel prepared. The check-in process the morning of surgery went smoothly and quickly. There was plenty of convenient parking. The staff and doctors were efficient and clearly explained what to expect. (Dr. Chen, Dr. Bronson, Evelyn, Holly?) After surgery/recovery I was moved to a 4th floor? room in time for lunch and later that afternoon walked around the hall with the PT. Everyone who helped me the next 24 hours was respectful, kind, attentive. I wish I had jotted down all the names. (Nicole, Pedro, Chaplain Christine, Minnie, Emmanuelle, Guillermo, were a few) The only negative feedback is my bathroom was too tiny but... it was a small price to pay in exchange for the beautiful ocean view, very peaceful setting, and excellent care I received. It's been over a year since my surgery. I recovered quickly and attribute that to Dr. Chen, an excellent surgeon; the positive in-patient hospital experience in Laguna; as well as good post-op PT.

Went to the ER at Providence Mission Hospital Laguna Beach walk-in late last night for a concussion. I’ve not been to an ER where everything ran so smoothly. I was in and out within 2 -2 1/2 hours. I was attended to right away by the ER staff, nurses, technicians who did their part from check-in to release getting me checked and tested. Thank you to Dr. Andrew Adams for attending to me right away and the staff for your great demeanor and caring.

I came to OC revive from Oklahoma broken and hopeless. I wish I could find the words to describe how much this program has changed my life how much they care about their clients and not just look at them as another payday. I completed the substance abuse program and because of the kind of care and attention I received I decided to also do the mental health program as well. As a new graduate I've got my life back together I'm sober and I'm thriving thanks to the help of OC revive. Everyone there Dan, Jacob, Becca, Shawna, Keith, Chris w., Chris e., Robert, Patrick, Jamie, Jenna, Anthony and so many more Played a role in me getting my life back and I'm forever grateful. If you need help do not pass OC revive up. I'm truly grateful for The care the structure the support and guidance of every staff member associated with this company I'm forever indebted to you thank you so much.

I am so grateful for OC Revive. The staff here is amazing! I have enjoyed all of the groups. The facilitators run groups that are engaging and informative. I have learned so much about my own recovery since I have been a client here. Rebecca has been such a helpful staff member she is one of the first people I met. Anytime I need a way to get to my 12 step meetings or important errands she provides support super quickly and I always feel like she cares. More than once when I was struggling that day she was somebody I could check in with and feel like I was understood. Cassie is one of the best facilitators there. I enjoy all of her groups. They get super deep into my mental health factors that I need to work on. I have learned invaluable tools in her groups to manage my emotions. My case manager Cullen has been so receptive of any of my concerns and has resolved any request I’ve had very thoroughly. I feel like he really cares about me as a person and a client. Katie is another facilitator who has made me feel like I’m worth wanting to have a good life. She is encouraging and also makes me feel like I’m a helpful contributor to the groups. There is so much more I could say about the staff here. I would recommend OC Revive to anybody seeking help and understanding and or stabilization in their substance use or their mental health recovery journey.

South Shores Recovery is a dual-diagnosis drug rehab and substance use treatment facility in Dana Point, California. They serve adult men and women with detox and outpatient programs.. The treatment center creates a trauma-informed individualized curriculum for every client, comprising conventional, evidence-based treatments like cognitive behavior
The club no one wants to belong to is waiting for you. Let’s be honest: Nobody wakes up thinking it’s a good day to stop their addiction and go to rehabilitation. The fear of losing my old way of living (which wasn't productive or making me happy) kept me looking through the distorted lens of the bottle. I thought other people needed rehabilitation, but South Shore completely transformed my life in ways I never even dared to imagine. The journey began reluctantly, much like the late Amy Winehouse's famous song "Rehab." The thought of going to rehab felt like a last resort, and the stigma around it was daunting. But addiction doesn’t discriminate, affecting people from every walk of life, including successful writers with master's degrees, licenses in medical sciences, and television fitness personalities like myself. When I arrived, South Shore's safe and serene environment provided the perfect backdrop for healing. The 24/7 medical support was a lifeline during detox, ensuring that I was comfortable and safe as I began to purge the toxins from my body. The detox process was supervised by compassionate professionals who made it as smooth as possible. South Shore's approach is holistic, focusing on mind, body, and spirit. The Big Book of AA, which I previously scoffed at, now serves as the cornerstone of my recovery. Through various therapies, including yoga, meditation, and surfing, I found new ways to connect with myself and the world around me. The sessions at the beach were particularly transformative, allowing me to heal in the midst of inspiring natural beauty. My only critique is that due to varying physical capabilities among participants, some of the best hikes and views from atop the cliffs were not attainable due to strenuous challenges. However, this experience taught me tolerance and acceptance. Education is a cornerstone of the program. I learned so much about the nature of addiction, why I drank, and most importantly, how to stay sober. The individualized treatment plans were tailored to my unique needs and adapted as I progressed. This personalized care was crucial in addressing the underlying issues that fueled my addiction. One of the most surprising joys was discovering a supportive community. In group therapy and 12-Step meetings, I found my tribe. The camaraderie and understanding among fellow participants were invaluable. The program's emphasis on community and peer support continues to be a cornerstone of my recovery. During my stay, I learned to achieve and maintain abstinence from substances, develop strategies to manage cravings and triggers, practice healthy coping skills, build a support network of peers, mentors, or sponsors, and engage in therapy to address the underlying issues contributing to substance use. Recovery is not just about abstaining from substances; it’s about discovering a new way of life. South Shore gave me the tools to cope with cravings and prevent relapse. The skills and strategies I developed during my stay have been essential in maintaining my sobriety. The support doesn’t end when you leave. South Shore's continuing care and alumni programs ensure that you remain connected and supported long after you’ve left the facility. The lifelong membership in the South Shore community means that help is always available when needed. Choosing rehab was the best decision I ever made. South Shore not only helped me break free from the chains of addiction but also gave me a fresh perspective and a renewed outlook on life. If you’re struggling with addiction, take that first step. It’s not the end of the road; it’s the beginning of a new journey. Thank you, South Shore, for giving me my life back (not to mention my husband, children, and chance at a successful career!)

When I got to South Shores I was at my rock bottom, I was completely miserable and broken. The staff there helped me build myself back up and become functional again. They gave me the tools and the resources that I needed so I could remain successful when I left impatient. From the therapist down to the technicians you can’t miss. Each one of them are overly qualified and are beyond knowledgeable about recovery. Matt is an absolute legend, his groups will truly humble any man or woman. The fact that he can get down onto your level share his story and current problems truly shows how important honesty and working the program is. Jamison is an amazing tech and has so much knowledge. Don’t be afraid to seek his guidance, I learned just as much from him as I did anyone! They also have an amazing support system after you leave the program. Brian has been in contact with me multiple times a week, what’s shows me that they truly do care about your well being. But at the end of the day you’re only going to get what you put into it. It’s going to take a lot of work and the willingness to be valuable. I took everything I could possibly get from them. And even though I loved it there the only way I’ll go back is to show others what South Shores helped me have. That’s peace, love, happiness, joy and the gift of being sober. Thank you South Shore’s for helping me find my greener grass!

The District gave me everything I needed to get my life back on track. Today, I’m proud to say I’m 8 months sober and living the best life I’ve ever had. I honestly wouldn’t be here without the support and structure this place provided. From day one, I felt welcomed and supported. My house manager, Tyler N., was absolutely amazing—super dependable, easy to talk to, and just a great human being all around. The directors, Chase and Will, were also incredible. You can tell they genuinely care about everyone who walks through their doors and are committed to seeing people succeed. The houses are spotless, really well-maintained, and some of the nicest sober living homes I’ve seen. The structure they provide is solid, but they also give you the freedom to live your life, work, and grow independently. That balance made a huge difference for me. One of my favorite things was the home gym—it had everything I needed to stay consistent with my fitness and take care of my body and mind during recovery. Having that right there at the house was such a huge plus. Another highlight was the group outings—they weren’t just fun, they were meaningful life experiences that helped me reconnect with the world and enjoy sobriety. There are even pictures from some of those outings that bring back the best memories. If you’re serious about recovery and want to be surrounded by people who actually care and a place that truly feels like home, The District is it.

Anchored Tides is the place for you if you are considering changing you current status with addiction. Thanks to the committed and passionate owners/staff, I now have a completely different life today! I was accepted into this program during the worst time of my life, and they above and beyond to help me repair and regain things that had been lost in my addiction such as HOPE. I'm very grateful for the experience I had with these women and will forever miss them. Consider yourself very lucky to be a part of ATR as the women that go through this program come out on top. I witnessed this through my own experience as well as 6 others that graduated before and after myself! Sobriety is one thing, but having a new outlook on life as you once knew it is another! Eternally grateful to Amy, Becca, Becca White, Hillary, Tanya, Sierra, Ariel, and last but not least MARKIE! I had never been to a treatment program before, and it wasn't easy for me at first, but turned out to actually be a very beautiful time in my life!!!Thanks Team!

Anchored Tides played a huge part in helping me get my life back. After numerous treatment centers over several years, I found what I needed at Anchored Tides. Between the one on one therapy, knowledgeable facilitators who taught practical skills, and the supportive staff, I acquired everything that I needed to stay sober. Anchored Tides Recovery holds a very special place in my heart. I have seen their work first hand with their clients and they do amazing things. To find a Women's Facility can be difficult but to find one that actually cares for their clients, goes above and beyond to help them and genuinely has the client's best interest in mind is sometimes impossible. I would recommend any female that is struggling with addiction in someway shape or form reach out to Anchored Tides. They do amazing work with trauma, mental health and substance use disorders.

My son just completed a 30 day program at SoCal Sunrise and we could not be more pleased. Andrew, Shannon and Ally as well as all of the staff were incredibly kind, patient and supportive. The entire team is vested in the recovery of their residents and encouragement is given every step. If my son had a rough day, one of the staff members was right along side to motivate my son to keep going. He felt supported and heard, I am so grateful to this team.
