My experience at California Wellness Center has truly been life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, respected, and understood. The staff is incredibly professional, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to helping clients heal and grow. The group sessions, individual therapy, and recovery-based activities helped me gain insight into my behaviors and learn practical tools to maintain long-term sobriety. The environment is structured yet caring, allowing space for accountability and personal growth. Case managers and counselors go above and beyond to make sure each client has an individualized plan for success — including aftercare, relapse prevention, and community support. I left feeling more confident, grounded, and hopeful about my future than ever before. I’m grateful for everyone at California Welness who played a part in my recovery journey. It had been a few years since my last treatment center stay as I had completely distanced myself from anything recovery related. I went down a real dark self isolated path of self-will run riot as I tried every which way to do it own my own self will and after being in 37 treatments prior to coming to California Wellness Center I felt as if I was a lost cause. After 12 long years of suffering and digging so deep, I couldn't even find an ounce of happiness to celebrate my own 31st birthday on March 12th of this year and after spending the entire month up untill my birthday completelt isolated alone in my APT in Phoenix,AZ I became very suicidal and started strongly considering taking my own life and just ending it all I had no desire to continue down the life I was living and somewhere in that moment of desperation on March 13th at 3AM I spend the next few hours crying out to my "Higher Power "God" to give me the strength to ask for help and he did I reached out to the "Owner Will" and finally dropped the ego I had held onto for all the years of my addiction and asked for help and that very night he had me on a call with a lady named "Keelen" Admissions might not be pronouncing that correctly and I barely remember the phone call I was completely out out of my mind but they were still willing to give me a shot and she helped me all the way through to getting to the airport to me completely blacked out at the airport missing my first flight to getting me on the next flight after out and constantly calling checking in to make sure I made it there safely as well retrieving all my luggage which I had lost during that process. Upon arrival, there I was picked up by "Liam," who made sure I got to the center safely and was there every day checking in, making sure I was OK! this is an individualized treatment program, and it was exactly what I needed to finally start unraveling the many years of pain and suffering addiction had caused. From all the staff "Matt" the therapist who was there 5 days a week, helped me finally dive into a lot of the many different issues I struggled with to face them head on he didn't push but when it came time he was there when I was ready to finally let go and let others guide me and I'll be forever thankfull for that, the Nurses "Mary" and "Stephanie" were the absolute best of the best and helped on many of the rough days I had to face while there to!! And the case manager "Jason" as well the techs from "Eddy" Kelsy" "Casey" "Jack" were the best as well and all played a big role for me still being alive and well today!! If you're thinking you don't deserve this, you do we all do, and this center and all the staff helped me realize my true value, love, and purpose for myself again and helped pull me from the very deep grave I had been digging for so long and finally accepting that I am truly powerless over my addiction but there is a way out if I am willing to drop my pride and ego and accept the help others offer so with that I'll be forever gratefull to all of you im still alive because of the part each of yall played during my stay there I finally feel like this life of sobriety is not just possible but worth more than any day of the pain a suffering caused by addiction so give yourself a chance your worth it and this place will help you get to that place. Much Love From The Bottom of my heart Parker Richard. God Bless

I can honestly say that 449 Recovery has helped change my life for the better. From the very beginning, they’ve shown me nothing but support, compassion, and understanding. It’s rare to find a place where the people genuinely care about your recovery and your future, but that’s exactly what I found here. They didn’t just treat me like a number, they treated me like a human being, with kindness and respect. Thanks to 449 Recovery, I’ve learned tools to help me stay sober and rebuild my life. They’ve believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself, and for that I’m truly grateful. I’m beyond thankful for everything they’ve done and i g Highly recomend to anyone who is serious about their recovery and wants to be surrounded by people who truly care. ❤️

My experience here was truly great. At the beginning, I wanted to leave. It was hard to admit I needed help. But I'm glad I stayed. The staff here made all the difference. My therapist, Andrew, and my case manager, Michael, were both incredible. They really listened and guided me through everything. The other stuff included Olivia, Angy, Mike (the driver) and Varla are some of the most caring and compassionate people I’ve ever met. Just amazing all around. If you’re thinking about coming here, whether it’s your first time or your fifth, I know how scary it can be. But I’m telling you, this place can make a difference. It definitely did for me. In addition to this, I met an amazing friend as well. Thank you

My son just completed a 30 day program at SoCal Sunrise and we could not be more pleased. Andrew, Shannon and Ally as well as all of the staff were incredibly kind, patient and supportive. The entire team is vested in the recovery of their residents and encouragement is given every step. If my son had a rough day, one of the staff members was right along side to motivate my son to keep going. He felt supported and heard, I am so grateful to this team. Highly recommend for anyone or a loved one who needs this type of program. Thank you thank you!

My son was at this facility for about 45 days and discharged recently. The staff were kind and efficient and took care of everything he needed on time. Specially, Andrew (project manager) and Shannon (case worker) tried to find a right place very hard as a aftercare program for my son even though it passed over scheduled discharging date. They were responsible and reliable. Thanks for your work ! Andrew and Shannon !!

Not sure why this place is average 3.9 stars but it’s a lot better than that. My wife came via ambulance to the ER, then to the general floors, then to the rehab floors. Couple impressions 1. Efficiency- all movements, drug administration or Dr interaction is tracked via computers and bar code readers.. all staff have phones and walkie talkies to transmit requests or orders correctly. Each room has a computer access for the Drs and nurses to immediately find out information. Upon arrival the ER drs had the plan in action quickly and the staff continually checked on my wife and updated us regularly. 2. Personnel- from the security guys, to the nurses and Drs, nothing but friendliness and an air of competency. I didn’t find any negativity that showed in front of the customer. Shout out to all the staff for sure. 3. Food - I haven’t been to a hospital in a long time but my wife’s food looked great. The dietitians that came to the room were great, orders were correct and the food very well prepared. Also the cafe in the basement has great food for a reasonable price. Thanks to everyone at this hospital.

Great staff, everyone goes above and beyond and genuinely cares. The facility is well kept and cleaners come weekly. The groups aren’t redundant and they don’t feel like a waste of time by any means. The pool is nice in the house I was in- had a working hot tub. Roku with Netflix and other streaming services in every room. Can’t speak for every house but met residents from other houses who said all good things. Anytime something wasn’t properly working it was fixed within a day or two. They will drop what they’re doing to help you (within reason). They pay for an activity every weekend and the meetings in the area are wonderful- easily some of the best in the country. Staff has personal experience with recovery and are very insightfu, you can tell they don’t hire just anybody. They are connected with very good after care/sober livings all over the state and country. They considered my situation and coordinated after care that was specific to such circumstances.

I absolutely love this place. Everyone who works here really cares about people and have your back. Everything I ever needed from the staff, I got help for. I get my monthly injections here from Bernadette who is extremely nice, caring, compassionate, and smart! Eric really cares too and has helped me seek disability services from Saddleback College which I didn't know much about until he told me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Care, Life-Changing Experience at Asana Recovery My journey with Asana Recovery has been nothing short of transformational. Walking through their doors, I wasn’t just another patient entering a treatment center—I was a person in need of compassion, structure, and genuine guidance. From the very beginning, the team at Asana made me feel seen, heard, and supported in a way that very few treatment centers truly deliver. After just two months in recovery, I was given the incredible opportunity to become a house manager, which was a breathtaking experience. Not only did it deepen my recovery, but it allowed me to support others walking the same path. That chance to step into responsibility and service was life-changing, and it’s something I will always carry with me. What sets Asana apart is the people. Jonathan and Linda, in particular, are shining examples of what makes this place extraordinary. Jonathan’s ability to connect with individuals on a deeply human level created a sense of trust that allowed me to open up and truly engage in the process. His wisdom, steadiness, and encouragement gave me tools that I will carry for the rest of my life. Linda’s presence is like a beacon—warm, nurturing, and absolutely unshakable. Her kindness and dedication went far beyond a “job”; it was clear she cares about every single person who comes through Asana’s program as if they were family. And it isn’t just them—the entire Asana team embodies that same commitment. Whether it was the counselors guiding me through difficult conversations, the medical staff ensuring I was safe and cared for, or the support staff who brought positivity into every interaction, each person played an important role in making recovery feel possible. They created an environment that blended professionalism with heart, where structure and accountability were balanced with compassion and encouragement. I’ve been to other facilities and spoken with countless people who have gone through recovery in different settings, and I can say without hesitation that Asana stands in a class of its own. Their approach is holistic, their community is genuine, and their impact is lasting. To anyone considering Asana Recovery—whether for yourself or a loved one—know this: you will not just find treatment here; you will find hope, healing, and a family that will walk alongside you every step of the way. I am deeply grateful to Jonathan, Linda, and the entire Asana Recovery team for helping me reclaim my life.

This is copy of an email I sent them after taking someone there: Hi XX, you are really good at your job! Passages Ventura looks nothing like the fantasy you tried to sell me. You said to me it looked like a Hilton. Even the cheapest of Hiltons looks like a Four Seasons compared to that place. It’s more like a psych ward combined with a Motel 6 and it smelled like it, too. The bedroom you kindly reduced to $5,000, looked like a closet with a window, nothing remotely like the pictures on the website. The staff is under qualified to even welcome people into the facility. My xxx wasn’t to meet with the doctor for a few days (why? I wondered) and in the meantime we were told they would be given benzos! (why? They are already addicted to enough stuff). They also explained that during detox they would had to walk to the nurses station to alert them if they needed something. That’s is so unrealistic, especially if you’re being paid to look after someone during a very trying process. You knew they were ready to go to treatment and you made us waste a whole day going all the way to Ventura under false pretenses. You guys should be sued for deceptive advertising and ineptitude. Hope one day you realize there are better ways to earn your money than to take advantage of people in need. Thank you for spending so much time with us, so sorry we didn’t make you a penny.

I was dealing with severe cocaine and alcohol addiction. After serving in the military and coming home, I needed help. And I knew that the average rehab and recovery program wouldn’t work with me. I needed something challenging, something different. Treehouse provided that. With a wide range of different and unique approaches to treating addiction like challenging workouts, team building, riding waves on the beach of Costa Mesa on rafts with other men struggling with the same disease, addiction education to help me better understand my disease on a scientific level, and outdoor adventures like going camping, taking trips to cool beaches to surf at. This place isn’t just a recovery center, it’s a family. I am now 6 months sober and graduated the program and I couldn’t feel more grateful and proud of myself. And I know my family could say the same. Anyone struggling with addiction and looking for a program that heals you both mentally and physically NEEDS to give this place a shot.

I’ve been to so many treatment centers. I swore last time I relapsed I wouldn’t go back to another because there all the same. But I had a friend reach out and tell me about treehouse. They told me it was drastically different and maybe something to ge the off the hamster wheel of treatment. They came out and met me and vetted me and made me feel important when I felt as low as possible. This place isnt a place where they stick you in a room and make you do group from 9-5. They teach you how to live again. There is an education group on addiction but it’s only an hour. The rest of the time you’re doing therapy. Which is 4 times a week. Or your lifting, in the gym, or learning how to be social again. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you want to do something different and stay sober. This is the place.

I went to Ocean Hills Recovery on Feb 1st, 2025 from West Palm Beach and the experience and entire staff made for a life long appreciation and respect for how they operate and the amount of care that goes into each and every client! Like any program, you get out of it what you put into it! Couldn't ask for a better support team to achieve your goals! 9 months sober!

MCR SAVED ME FROM DRUGS, MYSELF & DRINKING! I want to talk about my experience, everyone was very kind and we had a great group that I was with at the time which really helped me to recover. The first two weeks I had still been off the wagon, but as soon as I confessed to the group I immediately began to heal. Carlee was an excellent therapist for me and I remember having lots of friends supporting each other while I was getting my recovery. We would practice breathing exercises, watch movies that would help out with our recovery, and talk about anything or anyone who has been bothering us recently or from anytime in our lives. They even had a special brain training activity on the computer that you do to help focus on recovery. All the teachers were so nice and had fun assignments to do to help keep our minds off drugs and alcohol. They even have doctors who help provide medication to help keep drugs and alcohol away. I am much more responsible and take medication now to help maintain my sobriety. Thank you MCR!

New Method Wellness is nothing short of extraordinary. To call it a treatment center feels like an understatement. From the moment I made the call, I knew I was in the right place. The staff greeted me with genuine love, compassion, and understanding. It’s clear that everyone here is in this field for the right reasons: to offer hope, healing, and support to those who need it most. I was at the lowest point in my life, desperate for help. I knew treatment was the way forward, and New Method Wellness felt like the right fit. What I didn't expect was that it would not only help me regain my life, but transform it entirely. This place doesn’t just give you your life back—it gives you a new one. If you're unsure about where to go, take it from me: look no further. New Method is welcoming to anyone willing to put in the work and commit to bettering their life. This center is the true embodiment of holistic health, addressing the whole person and using a variety of modalities to help each individual meet their unique goals. I would wholeheartedly recommend this program to my friends, family, and anyone looking to get sober and improve their life. New Method Wellness gave me more than I ever thought possible, and I’m forever grateful for that. Thank you New Method Wellness!!!

I'm so thankful for the team at NMW. I came from out of state after seeing a friend of mine get clean here. I'm now 6 months sober and I'm back to loving myself and life. Juanita and the intake staff make the process with the insurance companies and arrival seamless so you can focus purely on recovery. The staff, main facility, housing, programs and activities are top class. I really couldn't say better things about their program. I wish I would have made it years ago. If you're on the fence like I was don't wait another day, week, year and just call them. You will not regret it.

At the time in my life when I needed a place for healing this name came up immediately! At that time I thought it was too good to be true. I had never been to a treatment center before and did not know what to expect. If that is you, just know that it is real and absolutely amazing! They have someone on staff in particular who is truly an angel. Don’t get me wrong all of the staff are incredible but, this one lady, Juanita practically saved my life. From the initial calls to get me there to being in touch with me at each airport that I had to transfer from, Juanita showed me how much she cared about me. In saying this please keep in mind she did not know me from Adam. She simply knew I was broken and needed help. She will forever be my guardian angel! The facility itself is beautiful. The location is great. The therapy is second to none in my honest opinion. I learned so much about me and what broke me. I wholeheartedly recommend NMW to anyone that needs recovery including mental health and or addiction. They will see YOU the individual. I truly believe in my heart that they are not in it for the money. They are doing what they do to save lives and show us all that there is healing and a bright future ahead of you no matter what has happened in the past.

As a professional in Addiction and Mental Health, I am so very grateful to the team at Able 2 Change. It’s not very often when you call with a huge favor and with no questions asked they pulled it together for a client of ours in desperate need. They care about quality over quantity and that is the type of program I’d trust with a family member of my own. These are people that care and lead with love!

From the first time I visited Able to Change I could tell when I first walked in by the amazing Energy in the beautiful office. Able To Change is a very-very special place. And then I met SarahLyn Cohen the owner and let me tell you she's changed my life from that day forward. Mick Armfield is a shining star in our industry. He has more love in his heart than most people put together. He will do anything he can to help clients as well as help his colleagues.. I would absolutely 100% send my children, grandchildren or family members to Able to Change. I know that they would be in very safe, loving hands. I thank you, SarahLyn For turning tragedy Into triumph. You save lives, help families heal, and help me to believe that there are still good people programs in our field. I am honored to call SarahLynn and Mick Armfield, my friends and mentors. And by the way, they will love you until you can love yourself. They will love your loved one until they can love themselves.

I recently spent 30 days at Alter Health in Dana Point, and I can’t speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, supported, and surrounded by compassion. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful — serene, clean, and designed for healing. With a small group of only six clients, there was a strong sense of community, and I received plenty of personalized attention. The staff-to-client ratio is excellent, and I was able to have frequent one-on-one therapy sessions, along with support whenever I needed it. The therapists and staff truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, cared for, and progressing in our healing journeys. The food was also a highlight — healthy, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Every detail of the program felt intentional and supportive. I can honestly say my time at Alter Health was life-altering. I left with tools, insights, and a renewed sense of peace. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to heal in a truly nurturing environment.
