My experience at California Wellness Center has truly been life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, respected, and understood. The staff is incredibly professional, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to helping clients heal and grow. The group sessions, individual therapy, and recovery-based activities helped me gain insight into my behaviors and learn practical tools to maintain long-term sobriety. The environment is structured yet caring, allowing space for accountability and personal growth. Case managers and counselors go above and beyond to make sure each client has an individualized plan for success — including aftercare, relapse prevention, and community support. I left feeling more confident, grounded, and hopeful about my future than ever before. I’m grateful for everyone at California Welness who played a part in my recovery journey. I would recommend this program to anyone serious about making lasting changes and finding freedom from substance use

It had been a few years since my last treatment center stay as I had completely distanced myself from anything recovery related. I went down a real dark self isolated path of self-will run riot as I tried every which way to do it own my own self will and after being in 37 treatments prior to coming to California Wellness Center I felt as if I was a lost cause. After 12 long years of suffering and digging so deep, I couldn't even find an ounce of happiness to celebrate my own 31st birthday on March 12th of this year and after spending the entire month up untill my birthday completelt isolated alone in my APT in Phoenix,AZ I became very suicidal and started strongly considering taking my own life and just ending it all I had no desire to continue down the life I was living and somewhere in that moment of desperation on March 13th at 3AM I spend the next few hours crying out to my "Higher Power "God" to give me the strength to ask for help and he did I reached out to the "Owner Will" and finally dropped the ego I had held onto for all the years of my addiction and asked for help and that very night he had me on a call with a lady named "Keelen" Admissions might not be pronouncing that correctly and I barely remember the phone call I was completely out out of my mind but they were still willing to give me a shot and she helped me all the way through to getting to the airport to me completely blacked out at the airport missing my first flight to getting me on the next flight after out and constantly calling checking in to make sure I made it there safely as well retrieving all my luggage which I had lost during that process. Upon arrival, there I was picked up by "Liam," who made sure I got to the center safely and was there every day checking in, making sure I was OK! this is an individualized treatment program, and it was exactly what I needed to finally start unraveling the many years of pain and suffering addiction had caused. From all the staff "Matt" the therapist who was there 5 days a week, helped me finally dive into a lot of the many different issues I struggled with to face them head on he didn't push but when it came time he was there when I was ready to finally let go and let others guide me and I'll be forever thankfull for that, the Nurses "Mary" and "Stephanie" were the absolute best of the best and helped on many of the rough days I had to face while there to!! And the case manager "Jason" as well the techs from "Eddy" Kelsy" "Casey" "Jack" were the best as well and all played a big role for me still being alive and well today!! If you're thinking you don't deserve this, you do we all do, and this center and all the staff helped me realize my true value, love, and purpose for myself again and helped pull me from the very deep grave I had been digging for so long and finally accepting that I am truly powerless over my addiction but there is a way out if I am willing to drop my pride and ego and accept the help others offer so with that I'll be forever gratefull to all of you im still alive because of the part each of yall played during my stay there I finally feel like this life of sobriety is not just possible but worth more than any day of the pain a suffering caused by addiction so give yourself a chance your worth it and this place will help you get to that place. Much Love From The Bottom of my heart Parker Richard. God Bless

I can honestly say that 449 Recovery has helped change my life for the better. From the very beginning, they’ve shown me nothing but support, compassion, and understanding. It’s rare to find a place where the people genuinely care about your recovery and your future, but that’s exactly what I found here. They didn’t just treat me like a number, they treated me like a human being, with kindness and respect. Thanks to 449 Recovery, I’ve learned tools to help me stay sober and rebuild my life. They’ve believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself, and for that I’m truly grateful. I’m beyond thankful for everything they’ve done and i g Highly recomend to anyone who is serious about their recovery and wants to be surrounded by people who truly care. ❤️

My experience here was truly great. At the beginning, I wanted to leave. It was hard to admit I needed help. But I'm glad I stayed. The staff here made all the difference. My therapist, Andrew, and my case manager, Michael, were both incredible. They really listened and guided me through everything. The other stuff included Olivia, Angy, Mike (the driver) and Varla are some of the most caring and compassionate people I’ve ever met. Just amazing all around. If you’re thinking about coming here, whether it’s your first time or your fifth, I know how scary it can be. But I’m telling you, this place can make a difference. It definitely did for me. In addition to this, I met an amazing friend as well. Thank you

My son just completed a 30 day program at SoCal Sunrise and we could not be more pleased. Andrew, Shannon and Ally as well as all of the staff were incredibly kind, patient and supportive. The entire team is vested in the recovery of their residents and encouragement is given every step. If my son had a rough day, one of the staff members was right along side to motivate my son to keep going. He felt supported and heard, I am so grateful to this team. Highly recommend for anyone or a loved one who needs this type of program. Thank you thank you!

My son was at this facility for about 45 days and discharged recently. The staff were kind and efficient and took care of everything he needed on time. Specially, Andrew (project manager) and Shannon (case worker) tried to find a right place very hard as a aftercare program for my son even though it passed over scheduled discharging date. They were responsible and reliable. Thanks for your work ! Andrew and Shannon !!

I had my daughter here in 2023, and among all the stuff going on in the world with nurses everywhere showing the world why they should not be in this industry, I wanted to brag on this hospital. We had the most amazing women as nurses while we were here. I will forever be so grateful that I had the best delivery experience because of my team and Dr.Bigenski. 10/10 doctor as well. Great staff, everyone goes above and beyond and genuinely cares. The facility is well kept and cleaners come weekly. The groups aren’t redundant and they don’t feel like a waste of time by any means. The pool is nice in the house I was in- had a working hot tub. Roku with Netflix and other streaming services in every room. Can’t speak for every house but met residents from other houses who said all good things. Anytime something wasn’t properly working it was fixed within a day or two. They will drop what they’re doing to help you (within reason). They pay for an activity every weekend and the meetings in the area are wonderful- easily some of the best in the country. Staff has personal experience with recovery and are very insightfu, you can tell they don’t hire just anybody. They are connected with very good after care/sober livings all over the state and country. They considered my situation and coordinated after care that was specific to such circumstances.

I absolutely love this place. Everyone who works here really cares about people and have your back. Everything I ever needed from the staff, I got help for. I cannot say enough good things about Windward Way! I had reached a point in my addiction where I was headed down a slippery slope toward losing it all. Through my higher power, my family was able to see I needed help and helped me get in touch with Windward Way. From the moment I walked into Campus to this very day, I have felt nothing but love and encouragement. I didn't know anything about Rehab or treatment centers, but from talking to others they can be vastly different. Many putting profits and business over people and healing. Not Windward. Every person who works there truly cares about you as a person and how they can best help you in your journey. I felt heard and cared for. My case worker Jeri is top notch. Helpful, knowledgeable and most of all loving. There are too many techs to mention by name but each one was on par. The groups led by the facilitators were so helpful. Each facilitator brought a different style. Ken and his love for the big book, Kelly and her love of teaching us through art and inner peace, Chad and his ability to tell a story or set up a learning environment that draws you in intellectually. Tony is exceptional in just chopping it up, but always ensuring we left with a valuable tool. Otis and his ability to understand everyone in the room even given our vast age differences. Gerald and his desire to keep us involved in after care. My house manager Monica for truly listening to each housemates concerns, and I cannot forget my therapist Christina for all the insight she gave me into why I am they way I am. And last but not least the drivers. They each had a way of just listening to our chatter and somehow still teaching us skills and showing us care. I could go on all day! Love you Windward!

I am beyond grateful for my experience at Oceans Recovery. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for, supported, and understood. The compassion, professionalism, and dedication of the entire team are truly life-changing. My therapists — Brooke, Aoife, Kaj, Alexa, and Hailey — are exceptional. Each of them brought insight, patience, and deep care into my healing process, helping me feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout my recovery. My case manager, Francis, is absolutely amazing — she goes above and beyond, advocates tirelessly, and made me feel seen and supported every step of the way. The support staff is incredible and creates a consistent, warm, and grounding environment. I am especially thankful for Kelly, the dietitian, who supported me through my eating disorder recovery with so much compassion, understanding, and respect. Her guidance helped me rebuild trust with food and with myself. A huge thank you to Kathy. Her support, leadership, and genuine care made a meaningful difference in my experience, and I am deeply grateful for everything she has provided and continues to provide. This program gave me the tools, structure, and support I needed to build a strong foundation for lasting recovery. I will forever be thankful for the people here and the impact they’ve had on my life. Choosing Oceans Recovery was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking real, meaningful healing.

Anchored Tides is the place for you if you are considering changing you current status with addiction. Thanks to the committed and passionate owners/staff, I now have a completely different life today! I was accepted into this program during the worst time of my life, and they above and beyond to help me repair and regain things that had been lost in my addiction such as HOPE. I'm very grateful for the experience I had with these women and will forever miss them. Consider yourself very lucky to be a part of ATR as the women that go through this program come out on top. I witnessed this through my own experience as well as 6 others that graduated before and after myself! Sobriety is one thing, but having a new outlook on life as you once knew it is another! Eternally grateful to Amy, Becca, Becca White, Hillary, Tanya, Sierra, Ariel, and last but not least MARKIE! I just finished 60 days at this inpatient facility and let me tell you…THIS PLACE IS MAGIC! I’ve been to 2 other treatment centers that were very “high end” and they didn’t compare to NDFW! From the therapist, clinicians & case managers, you’re set with a wonderful team helping you with your life on the inside and outside of treatment. They know what they’re doing and they do it well. I had a loved one go to Crescent Moon Recovery for an alcohol addiction. This program was life-changing for him! The staff is amazing and really cares for their clients. He really enjoyed the group therapy, and he learned a lot from the group facilitators. I cannot recommend CMR enough if you or a loved one is struggling with an alcohol or drug addiction!

A close friend of mine went to inpatient rehab in California and then went to Crescent Moon Recovery for PHP IOP. Since going to CMR and moving to Orange County I have seen her become a completely different person. She’s tried getting sober before and other places just weren’t getting the results we were hoping for. She has been able to repair relationships with her family and I finally have my friend back! I highly recommend CMR for anyone struggling with addiction and mental health because I think the therapy and work they do is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you CMR for everything you’ve done for her and for us!

Alter is a cut above the rest. It’s very exhausting looking for a “quality” Mental Health program in California. Many websites say this and that to get your attention and end up being nothing like they advertised. Alter from day 1 represented an honest approach at how they could help our loved one. I want to thank the caring and compassionate staff for giving my sister the tools to keep moving forward with her life. You have my utmost respect!

When everything in my life was slipping through my fingers and I could barely hold myself together, Alter showed up. I was lost—unable to focus, unsure of where to turn, convinced I was falling apart. But they saw something in me I couldn’t see in myself. They helped me believe again… helped me remember what it feels like to actually enjoy being alive. I don’t know how to thank them enough.

They really supported me on my journey to getting sober and to sobriety. Mentally, they provided me with the tools and perspective I needed to navigate challenges with clarity. Spiritually, their guidance was incredibly uplifting and helped me reconnect with my sense of purpose. I was lucky enough to go to this center. The staff genuinely care and go above & beyond to help clients. Most of them are in recovery themselves and understand the struggles of being an alcoholic in early recovery. Their patience and compassion are an essential component that they bring to this program.

The Arrow House truly helped not 1, but 2 of my kids heal and come to a place of recovery. Their approach of looking at the family unit versus just the young person in treatment has given me and my family hope and the tools nessesary to rebuild the love and trust that we have for one another. Their entire team, from admissions through administration, through the family and individual therapists, the educational team, and can not count out the amazing Community Mentors and the chef all have supported me and my kiddos on the road to recovery! I forever will feel in debt to their amazing team and to the care they have given us!

My mom went to cornerstone to get sober and better herself 8 years ago, and now I am here and have nothing but the utmost respect for all of the staff that helped me get to where I am today. I truly could not have made it this far and could not have been as confident as I am currently in myself and my recovery if it weren't for the time and dedication in which they put in to ensure my stay here went as smooth as possible. The assignments they give are all engaging and make you dive deep interpersonally, spiritually, mentally, and the like to emphasize what you need to grow and work on during your journey to sobriety, and for that I am so thankful. It is a shame to see this place go as Dr. Stone enters his well-deserved retirement, but I am honored to be one of the final clients to have came through this wonder rehabilitation center, I truly feel I have found a community where I belong!

Choosing Casa Recovery was truly the best decision I have ever made. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for. The staff go above and beyond in every possible way — their compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail are unmatched. They truly see each client as an individual and tailor their approach to meet your unique needs. The level of care here is exceptional. Every therapist, case manager, and support team member works together to create an environment that feels safe, encouraging, and filled with hope. The program is thoughtfully structured, balancing therapy, education, and holistic wellness in a way that promotes real, lasting change. What stood out most to me was the sense of community — not just from the staff, but from the other clients as well. Everyone is on their own journey, yet the support and understanding that flow through this place make healing feel possible and real. Thank god for the Lighthouse!! This place is amazing, I went there and they took me to Alcoholics Anonymous, which gave me a solution to allow me to become an active and productive member of my family and society. I did everything that was suggested like going to sober living getting a sponsor and working steps. They have an amazing Alumni program with Heidi as the coordinator. The alumni program helped me tremendously I learned accountability by taking commitments at meetings, learned how to have fun sober, and use normal coping skills instead of using or drinking. I am super grateful for this place the staff really cares and anyone that’s willing to put in the work to recover will find the help they need at the lighthouse!
