I had a really memorable experience. Totally changed my mindset in a positive way. Dr. Chanter was great along with the other therapists, nurses and staff. I stayed for 37 days but wouldn’t mind staying longer if I needed to. Couldn’t recommend this place anymore. I also heard the other locations are great as well.

All the staff were professional, kind, knowledgeable and helpful with every aspect of my recovery. Group therapy was organized and meaningful. Individual counselors provided great support for me and my family. The after care plan is amazing and supportive once you leave the inpatient stay.

I cannot say enough about this place, I’ve been to other methadone clinics before but this one surpasses them all! The Doctor is absolutely amazing she’s so smart and compassionate. Ceola is my counselor and she is so smart and so capable, She’s one of the best problem solver I’ve ever met. She’s super responsible and has helped me in my journey tremendously. I can honestly say that I have never had a counselor that has been so educated and knowledgeable! Having her as my counselor and having this particular Doctor has helped me get my life back and my children back. Been coming here for a long, long time Through my recovery I have had many counselors some better than others funny how things happen my husband transferred to Medmark from BAART in Oakland crazy we both ended up on Rich’s case load { R.I.P. RICH another great counselor } so you know we both can’t have the same counselors so of course I got kicked to the curb. Best curb I got kicked to { so to speak. } which is currently Nicole Martinez, the best I’ve ever had , She definitely help me get to where I am now she goes above and beyond helped me in my life so much, I don’t even know what I’m gonna do when we goes our separate ways 😔..I wish I can take her with me. I wish I can give her 20 ⭐️’s but was only given an option of 5 ⭐️.

I've been going to the program since June 2023. I started out in Concord, was only there for 4 to 6 months before they shut it down. From there I went to Antioch. I have had two counselors, Travis and Danelle, the both of them are Awesome! Very caring, understanding, helpful, and kind! The nurses are great, and the persons at the front desk are Great too. I've been going to the BAART clinic in Antioch, CA for nearly 8 hrs and absolutely love the program. So much so I got my BFF to get treatment there and she also lives it and is so glad she took the initiative to go there and like me has found relief from the bandage of addiction. I've had a few counselors and love them all. It is like a big family there from the counselors to the dispensing nurses and all the patients. All the patients know each other and support each other. You feel very safe & supported in their relaxed, chill & friendly environment. I would recommend it to anyone experiencing the bondage of addiction. Bcz now instead of the stress of finding opiates and fear of not having them and facing withdrawal now i just take my dose in the morning and don't even think about opiates the rest of the day. Opiate addiction can be an all consuming full time job in which your entire life revolves around getting enough opiates fearing running out and the absolute misery of withdrawal. when you can't get them. But going to BAART has gotten me off that hammster wheel so I can enjoy my life without having to even think about opiates anymore. If you in bondage to opiate addiction do yourself a favor and FREE yourself by going to BAART and start truly livingb& enjoying your life.

This place has a bad reputation, I understand. However, I’ve seen it help several people that actually wanted the help and used the program properly.There is several key words in this comment that are necessary and down right vital in order for the clinic to work the way it was intended. It can help people lead a sober life and there are people that work there that care for the welfare and wellbeing of the patients that go there.

New Bridge offers an exceptionally talented team of, staff members, addiction specialist, and clinician's who've helped me address my co-occurring substances and mental health issues. The New Bridge environment (residential treatment facility, & extended satellite sober living environment), are safe and clean, and provide the type of space where I was able to successfully focus on, addiction & mental health curriculums, group therapy, as well as personalized "one-on-one" therapy/counseling sessions. Additionally, the treatment facility environment is supportive of "peer-to-peer" feed back & coping skills, "focus" and "affirmation tools".., all (to which I found) have great value in early recovery...!
What I enjoyed most about New Bridge is the dignified and professional way each staff member treated me, and treated me as valued (from the newest staff member, to the kitchen staff, to nurse staff, maintenance staff, the on-site doctors, to group staff, the clinical coordinator staff, the assistant director, up to the director). These staff members, all, display a "real human" level of authenticity and care...! I'm truly happy that I chose New Bridge..!!!
I will offer this thought to anyone who is wondering if this is the right place, or not..., "if you have a true and real desire to gain recovery, everything you will need to assist you, to help you focus, guide & support you in the process of recovery.., can be found at New Bridge..!!!" Would recommend to anyone who has the desire to change their life. Tools that will last me a lifetime and helped me learn to take accountability. Perfection isn’t possible when dealing with a lot of people who are sick, but they do a darn good job. I felt important. I felt that they always had my best interest at heart. Special shout out to all of the counselors and milieu staff who work their butts off!

Came here for a dentist appointment. Very busy place with strict policies regarding lateness. Most of the staff were professional and welcoming. The young Asian receptionist on the 5th floor was especially friendly and kind.
Facilities like this often receive a lot of undeserved criticism, but they play an extremely important role in our community and the city. Thank you for serving the comunity.

Tranquility is the best place I’ve been to. They have taken care of me very well and equipped me with the right tools to succeed once I left. The houses are very clean and well managed! The food is amazing! If you or a loved one need help with mental or substance abuse issues, I highly recommend coming here.

St Mary's Center gives me the feel of home away from home. It's somewhere for seniors to come and get a nutritional meal and receive help in housing. I was locked out due to an unlawful eviction in 2022 & lived in my car for a month while attending St Mary's center. I was a breast cancer survivor until 2023 when I was diagnosed cancer-free & in Feb of that year I was housed in a transitional room through St Mary's. They gave me a safe community where I was able to restart my life, take care of my mental & physical health issues, & in Jan 2024 they helped me get permanent stable housing at Depot Community Apts in Hayward. If anybody needs a safe place to get help, I urge you to come & connect with this senior center. They are a lifesaving God-given resource to help fix your life issues & THRIVE! He never rushes you he genuinely wants to listen and work with me to help give me quality of life♥️ Chronic pain is no joke. I’ve been in pain management since 2011. I had been with his wife Dr Gutierrez for years (she is also the best and a amazing Dr!! I began working with Dr Smeester and have been with him for a few years now. You will never find a Dr like Dr Smeester he is 1 in a million!! He is caring he works with you to give you the best outcome. I can’t imagine my life without his care. If you truly want great care then you’ve come to the right place!! Summer is his assistant she is the sweetest young lady who runs the office!! the reason for four stars, not five is because the treatment they give here wasn't structured enough for me, i was only there for a week or two back in like 2023?i think? idk lol. and it was just too fast paced and kinda jump at the issue typa treatment. it was honestly amazing and im sorry i ran away what 3 times? the food, the freedom, the field trips, ugh it was amazing. i did end up getting help at a locked down facility but yeah, if i weren't as mentally ill as i was id totally come back

As someone who got out of Paradigm a month ago. I think that it is a great place, yeah no treatment center is going to be fun, but if you were to send your child to any place. Send them to Paradigm. I love all the staff, the schedule is great. Unlike other places, Paradigm allows you to express yourself freely. You can wear whatever you like, say whatever you like. And they really try to make the place enjoyable for every client there, as much as they can. Obviously it is not a perfect place, no treatment center in my opinion is. But I really did improve in Paradigm, I had great family therapy, improved my relationship with my father. I had a great one on one therapist, and I made a lot of friends- not only with clients but also with staff. I could freely be myself, and no one judged me because we were all in the same boat. Not only that, the rooms are comfortable, the chef has a cute dog, the food is good, and the outings are so fun. Once again, if you are going to send your kid to a treatment center, send them to Paradigm.

I entered the doors of MedMark on a Monday morning @ 5:00 am with the expectation of walking out feeling a whole lot better than when I walked in.
As told by the young lady on the phone the day before, I needed to come in sick, which of course I did, to a degree.
I was interviewed, had a physical and sat.
At about 10:30am, I was given my first dose of 20mgs. After about 20 mins, I began feeling a bit better. Then, I was given another 10mgs and went home. For the first time in months, I actually slept.
It has been near 6 years since that first day and I can honestly say that I have not used, gone through withdrawals and been able to put and keep my life on a straight and forward path thanks to the counselors, the nurses and the newer management team consisting of Kim and Linda.
Not to speak ill of the previous management, so I'll simply say that the change has been a Godsend.
Kim, Director of MedMark Fairfield is a very sweet, compassionate and open-minded leader who has opened herself up to speaking to the clients with a bright smile and a big heart. These qualities make her approachable but don't let that fool you, she is as tough as she is welcoming.
Sadly, Linda the Lead Manager at MedMark Fairfield is not one that I have spent much time with, however she did see me at a time when my councilor was out sick. The hour we spent together was made very comfortable by her, and I had actually entertained the idea of asking her to be my councilor. We talked as though we had known one another for a lifetime. Those that have her as a councilor are very blessed.
I can truly say that I hit the lottery when I was given Sara as my councilor. Early on, I found that she and I share quite a bit in our stories, which right away put me at ease. Sara is bright, knowledgeable and compassionate and right away put me at ease. Given that I have earned my way to monthly meetings, I really look forward to seeing her each time. I have had a few different councilors over time, but Sara has really given me the reasons to trust her. So important as that is, I am lucky to have that with her.
One of the huge benefits I found at MedMark was that the councilors I had seen had all gone through very similar situations as I had. It truly makes for a foundation to build on when there is that common denominator. It is easy to sit with your client and simply listen to them for an hour, but to really connect with them, making them feel as though they really matter and to build that trust and rapport.
Now, I have heard people complain about this or that at MedMark, unfortunately, in an environment such as this it is to be expected. My response, typically sharp tongued is this;
Hmmm, I don't recall getting an invitation to come join them so frankly we really can't complain. Speaking from experience, MedMark is #1 on my top 5 Methadone Clinics. lol

I’ve been going to MedMark for a while now and I’m incredibly grateful for the support they’ve provided. The staff is friendly, caring, and knowledgeable, always offering personalized treatment and guidance. The clinic is clean and well-organized, making the experience as stress-free as possible. They offer a range of services that go beyond just methadone maintenance as well. I highly recommend MedMark for anyone seeking help with opioid addiction - it’s the only thing that actually stuck for me.
Ps it’s pretty easy to succeed here. Be respectful, give clean UA’s and attend your sessions - then you get take homes. Any complaints probably stem from one of those not being followed… :)

This place is amazing. I went for behavioral health and every part of the experience, from the front desk offering coffee, to the intake coordinator, to the therapist that helped me during one of the lowest times of my life, was beyond anything I would have ever expected from a non-profit for low income folks. I rated Villa 5 stars because this was the only place I was able to be comfortable. They had a daily schedule of different things to do. During your stay you can have visitors and after the 72 hr hold give you passes to leave the campus for an hour or so. The staff was great and the patients were also welcoming. If I needed help this is where I would go. Thank you for saving me.. from myself.

I gotta give these guys 5 stars mainly because the only other review is an (in my opinion) unfair one star rating. I was in Villa Fairmont several years ago and while it may have had some problems (more like a 3.5 or 4 star) it was a place that helped me stabilize in a safe location until I was accepted in a Dual Diagnosis Recovery Home (Bonita House). I currently work in the recovery field and live an independent life. To me that is worth all of the struggles that I have had with any of the programs I have been in. Gotta go through hell before you get to heaven. That's just the way it is when you have a diagnosis that isn't socially acceptable... The system may not be perfect and there is certainly lots of broken components, but we need some kind of system and it does work for some. I know because I'm one.

This place completely changed my life. They run a top notch program and the highly attentive staff see to all your needs with no problems. Doctor Kayman is extremely knowledgeable about the brain and the counseling staff is amazing as well, always offering a listening ear and great advice to help any problems that may arise while in treatment. OMG this place is amazing and work miracles up on that 5th floor in 28 days! Not sure about having to be a celebrity or whatever that one post said unless they are talking about ghetto celebrities. Terry and the staff he gots up on the 5th floor are the bombdigity trust and believe me on dat one fsho. They blessed me with my life back Dr Kayman is a blessing from above and I will be forever grateful for everyone of there all of them will be missed by me fsho. Just walked out that joint yesterday morning and it's the best thing that happened to me in my 47 years on this planet. (for the teen unit) This place generally was one of the most helpful places ever all the staff was so incredibly sweet, the OTs especially shout out to Hana (one of the OTS) because she was so amazing, the groups were very well done and it was so incredibly supportive there, there where also a lot of fun activites like painting nails, writting afirmation cards, bracelet making, movie nights, playing bordgames, all the other teenagers that where there well I was there where abosulte sweet hearts and I ended up staying in touch with them one I got discharged- the nurses where all pretty good but shoutout to my nurse Elena she was so helpful and really was able to support me through any needs, this place save my life and got me out of the deep end and am so incredibly thankful for all of it<3 thank you Alta bates phscy ward

This place saved my life. The first time I came here, I was 12 years old. I was very scared but the staff were really nice and supportive. The program is really helpful, I'd recommend this place to any child who is struggling with mental health. They also have a program to treat ED's. I've been to the 3 East B adolscent psych unit multiple times, so I'm very familiar with everyone. The therapist Emilio, Megan, and Susanna were so nice to me, and a nurse named Chris. I spent 2 of my birthdays here, my 13th and my 14th. They made it a fun time even if we were in a hospital:) The patients I've been with were always really nice. Not much drama happens in this hospital. Thanks to this hospital, I am now happy in life, learning to cope with stressful situations. Thank you, Alta Bates.
