For 4 yrs we have been going there and paying cash to see a P.A for refills..Never the same staff..Always $120.00 and as soon as they realized we were cash paying patients they wanted $220.00..Then proceeded to tell us we have always paid that amount..They are price gouging people and I have receipts saved for tax reasons and I proved we never ever paid that price and all they can do is say sorry..I would of given no stars..beware people..This place has gone down so bad in care..

I was locked out due to an unlawful eviction in 2022 & lived in my car for a month while attending St Mary's center. I was a breast cancer survivor until 2023 when I was diagnosed cancer-free & in Feb of that year I was housed in a transitional room through St Mary's. They gave me a safe community where I was able to restart my life, take care of my mental & physical health issues, & in Jan 2024 they helped me get permanent stable housing at Depot Community Apts in Hayward. I’ve been going to MedMark for a while now and I’m incredibly grateful for the support they’ve provided. Iv been going here for almost 4 yearsd and at the beginning i did not think i was going to be able to keep going because i was almost late every day to work but ever since Kim and a few other great people came they changed it around FULLY!! Now i show up and im in and out so fast and they have just made the whole process so much better. If you give the workers there your respect they give it back fully and more! I came to Contra Costa Regional after a full-blown panic attack finally made me face the truth. I'd been hiding my cocaine use for years while running a startup in Seattle. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect from this place, but it ended up being a turning point.
They respected my need for privacy and were cool about me still needing to check in on work. The therapists actually listened and the CBT helped me deal with the anxiety I’d buried. It’s not fancy, and the tech setup could be better, but the care was real. I left focused and feeling like myself again.

I been coming here for years. I just want to say that this place is so much better than it was before, in the past it wasn't could've come here with all the temptation and dealers out front. It seems that since they got a new Director & she wasn't having it, she made them straighten up and they got a new Fiscal girl who helps with everything. Really stepped their game up. Margarita helped me renew my Medi-Cal, and was very welcoming. She always has water and other drinks and snacks & candy for the patients. she connected me with a local food bank, as well as resources on impatient programs and even help med me find a part-time job. The counselor Pam is hella down to earth, always listens and doesn't judge. I think of her like one of my cool aunties. At this clinic they treat you like a person not just a junkie off the street. Most of the patients we all know each other so we're kind of like family and coming her to interact with other like-minded people who are focused on sobriety.

In a world absolutely ruined by late-stage capitalism and while we all suffer the consequences health insurance has wrought unto our society. It can seem like an insurmountable obstacle as an uninsured person especially in the moment of suffering but the experience i had was unlike any other hospital visit i've ever had. Their compassion and empathy sets this place apart from the rest.
Ive been between jobs and feeling like my world's been crumbling down around me; so when my recent medical emergency reared its head Eddette, Laura, and Fatima were the kind, warm professionals you really only ever hope to cross paths with and the three of them flipped my perception of hospitals with what seemed like no effort on their parts. Natural compassion, empathy, talent, and overall aura is what you always dream of experiencing at the hospital. Not that i want to go to the ER ever again, if i have to, i hope its within THEIR ER. (GIVE THESE CATS A RAISE!).
Arguably this hospital serves the most diverse part of the city and it shows. This team and especially these key players, can turn your visit from a harrowing solo nightmare into a warm visit with relatives (that are hopefully not "too disappointed" in you ending up in the ER again but still love you anyway). Its got incredible vibes; the service was the best experience i could have had from a medical emergency. Thank you guys! <3
And again shout out for helping me find coverage in such a dark time without even having to ask. You guys are the best!

The staff here are kind and treat everyone with a human touch. Daily clients can guarantee to receive a cup of hot coffee, a hygiene kit consisting of various toiletries, toothbrush, soap, razors, toothpaste, deodorant, lotion. Clients who need a voucher for an id from DMV can also obtain this here. Depending on what they have they could be offering a warm snack like oatmeal, ponchos, shoes, narcan is always available. This is a huge resource for the community both housed and unhoused persons are welcome here and they will point in the right direction for other resources you might need.
Post Covid I believe that clients can receive case management and enter the site in order to sit down with a case manager. Hours are variable and once a week I believe on Wednesday there is a hair stylist on site providing free hair cuts!
Newest services include occasional availability of dog food, they typically run out fairly quickly.
Wound care nurse is available once a week
Various street parties including hotdogs and snow cones as well as games like human size connect 4 and other oversized games on sidewalk. Also the work resource portion is 2 doors down

I had a girl who was OD'd on the street one day. And there wasn't Anything that I could do except call 911 and sit with her. This really hurt me, because I felt so helpless. This is where Sixth st. Comes in. I contacted them to find out what I could do.
Well. I was able to get trained on administering NARCAN . And even got a card stating that I could carry and administer Narcan. Luckily I have never had to use it.
But I won't have to sit and watch while someone dies.

Excellent communication via email. Staff just doing their jobs, mostly friendly. Have to take for DUI required by dmv in order to get my license back. They are state approved.

Wollam Recovery Center literally saved my life. I had lost everything and became homeless. My sister intervened and found this place. I spent 3.5 months there. They have an amazingly organized structured addiction recovery program with daily classes. I highly recommend this place. No judging. Excellent counselors some have been through what we’ve been through so they can relate and advise. Thank you counselors for getting my life back on track ! Xoxox
