I overdosed twice in a ten month period. Approx. 6 months ago the ambulance took me to the hospital 90% dead from opiates/benzos/ alcohol etc. The hospital refused to give me detox medication, so after 7 days with out sleep, detoxing heavily from 15 years of all mentioned above, I was convinced I was not going to make it. Thank God, somehow, my Family found Dr. Calvert @ "Revive Detox" in West LA. My Son dropped me there directly from the hospital … tore up. I finally slept in a real bed, Josh cooked excellent food daily and they loved me back to feeling like I was a special person with a reason to live. Once my mind & body could talk and walk she started therapy, meetings gave me more attention than I deserved. Dr. C and her and staff put me back together medically, physically and emotionally. It took 6 weeks of her Professional patients to bring me back to life and I have realized how fortunate l am to have met her. If anyone is hesitating on "surrender" Dr. C. - Josh & the Staff will make you comfortable, rested, loved and detoxed ready to get your life back. I've been to a dozen detoxes/rehabilitations in the past, 56 years old. I've been lied to by intake, telemarketers, showed up, walked out, name it… I've seen it. She is the only professional that told the truth (no sales pitch) and honored her word to the end. She handled the highest level of care, experience, love and professional knowledge. She treated my Son like royalty when he came to visit. I now have approx. 6 months of clean time because I was gifted a true & valuable life lesson of how to live.
