Drugs and alcohol were how I coped with the emotional distress I had been long experiencing and during my time at IVRS the staff, the structure, and the atmosphere provided me with an atmosphere that I could make a lasting change. Today, I am not just sober; I am at happy & at peace. I don't miss the days I used to abuse drugs/alcohol and that is an absolute miracle. I am so grateful for the staff that dedicated their lives and careers to being of service to those struggling with addiction. I was fortunate enough to have Paola, the clinical therapist lead, as my main therapist and we uncovered years of traumatic experiences I was not ready to face. I will forever recommend this program to anyone in need and look forward to the after care they offer after completing this program! The food was good, the patients were sweet, and the staff was on top of things. The only issue I had with this place is I believe they need more Spanish speaking staff on the floor and more phones available. Both the individual and group sessions were meaningful, supportive, and focused on the issues I needed to work on. The staff truly listened and helped me develop the tools I needed for my recovery. The program itself was well organized and kept us engaged with healthy activities, including walks, gym time, arts and crafts, outings, movies, bowling, AA meetings, and other events. There was always something positive and productive to do. The food deserves special recognition as well. The chef consistently prepared healthy, delicious meals that made us feel cared for and at home. The medical team was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. I was impressed by the level of care and support available throughout my stay. One thing that makes Whiteside Manor truly special is that the support doesn’t end when the program does. Even after completing treatment, I continue to work with a therapist and still feel welcomed and supported by the staff. That kind of ongoing care is rare and means a great deal. After going through a detox facility i chose RRR for my IOP program, Desmond being the first person i spoke with and i immediately felt that he cared about me, i then worked with Keith G. and Yolanda and they are the very best of the best! Absolutely a blessing these people are 💯. They listen and don’t judge. The program is great and is the foundation for my recovery. Don’t know what or where id be without them having my back and instilling their knowledge upon me. I can’t stress enough how important an IOP program is!
