2024 was a transformative year for me, and a big part of that was due to my time at A Peace of Mind. As a first-time resident in a sober living environment, I didn’t know what to expect, but from the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed, supported, and understood. The house provided a safe and structured environment that was crucial for my recovery. The staff were compassionate, knowledgeable, and always available to offer guidance. They truly cared about my progress and went above and beyond to ensure I had the tools and resources I needed to succeed. What I loved most was the sense of community. The other residents became like family to me, and we supported each other through every step of our journeys. The group meetings, activities, and shared experiences helped me build strong, lasting connections that I know will continue long after leaving the house. This sober living house didn’t just give me a place to stay; it gave me a fresh start, hope for the future, and the strength to continue on my path to sobriety. My bed was right next to the ice cold AC and I would sleep like a baby! I always wanted to be home. I love the Old Victorian look and feel. I can’t thank the team enough for everything they’ve done for me. Jessica has made my time at the DUI Class as good as it gets. I am a re-tread and the first time I had Class personally I felt it was a waste of time. I really got something out of this one and I give all the credit to Jessica, she did a great job.

I went here when it was still called Howe Lodge they changed my life gave me an education about my issues and put me in touch with God. I own my life to God and them and Doctor Smiley. I made a vowel when I left there that I would do something. It is now complete. This is my love and my commitment for this place of recovery love, Mark.

I absolutely loved this place. The best place to get help and to grow and understand yourself more. I couldn’t have made it where I am today without their help. I am 1 yr and 3 months sober. I am a house manager for a sober living and I work in a detox facility as well. I am doing things I never thought possible for myself, let alone being able to manage as much as I do now. This was the foundation of everything that I have become today. A HUGE thank you to all of the staff at Hope Lodge. I hope one day to return and share my story.

My first time at this facility and I was treated very well. The staff is professional and truly wanting to help patients get through their days there as easily as possible. There are helpful therapy group sessions , recreational time to socialize and connect, outdoor time for fresh air and socializing , plus snack times and time to watch a bit of television too. I felt that the facility and staff were dedicated to patient improvement , well-being, and safety. Even the most challenging patients were treated properly with dignity and respect. I will remember this facility as a positive place where I started my journey to get well again mentally and emotionally. Thanks to all Of the staff!

It’s a pretty good place but they need to update their activities like have more arts and crafts movie time maybe have a pastor come in and talk to people too

Sincere and genuine care is at this home. A true help for the community. A clean residence that is close to downtown Riverside. Many AA and NA meetings are within walking distance. The RTA bus, Metrolink and Amtrak are a short distance away. A giant TV with Netflix is available to residence. It is a warm group of women that share many of the same trials and growing experiences.

Anyone and everyone is welcome there. A sense of safety and caring in the Room. If you think you need a meeting you probably SHOULD GO !!!!

The behavioral health system is a great place. I attend to it everyday and man. Does it have the best workers. Not only are they patient but they are also interested in what the client has to say. They go in depth with conversation to try and get to the center of the situation one is dealing with. And they also prepare routine for one to follow. They contribute with nothing but positivity. And they are all certified. I recommend anyone with anxiety, depression, compulsive disorder, etc. To come here and speak to a Peer Support Specialist, a Therapist, a Psychiatrist to resolve their issues. If not resolve to at least get more information about their diagnoses. It will help out a lot. And there is also groups to attend during the day if you would like to socialize and be with people. Groups such as Yoga, Chess, Creative Writing, 100 mile club and more. This place is for those in the ages of 16 through 25 years of age. So if you are within that age group. Come give Behavioral System a try and be ready to be helped. Enjoy.

I've been going to this club ever since it moved from another location. I met a lifelong lady co-sponsor at this meeting . I have 30 years of sobriety now.The meetings at this club provided a foundation for continuous Sobriety 🌞🙏👍

I would like to thank the ladies that pick up the incoming phone calls and bearing with this mother just wanting to know about her son .They were patient kind and understanding. Never rude always trying their best to get me through to the nurses and if not they would ask for my name and number for a call back. I really like to thank the male nurse Mark that took care of my son during his stay there. Mark went above and beyond for me he is such a kind soul god bless him he made this worried mom feel at ease thank you Mark everyone should be as kind as you. I would also like to say that I went around 700pm during shift change and the kind security let me know that it would be like a 20 minute wait as I was dropping off my son clothes. I said okay I’ll wait outside and he said thank for your patience , kind man. As I was waiting nurse Angelina came out and said it’s shift change but I’ll take the clothes now and take care of it now I said thank you. That was so nice of her she also let me know that they have visitations everyday if I wanted to visit which I didn’t know they were allowed visits there. So thank you thank you amazing staff keep up the good work and always remember that everyone just needs to be kind because you never know what an impact you can make on a persons life just by being nice.

really nice nurses, idk if it depends what unit ur in but i really enjoyed my stay. if i remember her name correctly nurse Siobhan was really sweet and she stood on business when a patient was disturbing others. my only complaint are that the recliners/ beds are uncomfortable but what can you expect? the food is good and everyone is really chill.

The women's home, Chance's Sober Living is a warm and caring facility. It is within walking distance to many AA and NA meetings. Very close to the RTA bus and Metrolink. Anyone who is serious about growing and changing their lifestyle will find this residence a great stepping stone to recovery.
